In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

((First off, this takes place after the other Where Nothing Gathers thread which was initiated by Vexen.))
Silence filled the room Where Nothing Gathers. The thirteen thrones stood at varying heights, majestic and grand. It had been a day since the last meeting of the members of Organization XIII, called for by the ambitious Vexen. At one point or another, almost the entire Organization had attended, except the Leader, Xemnas.
Silence filled the room Where Nothing Gathers.
The silence was suddenly broken as a plume of Dark mist roared to life on the tallest throne. It quickly dissipated, revealing Xemnas, the Superior of the In-Between, leader of the Organization. Silence returned as Xemnas sat there, gazing down quietly at all the thrones beneath him, contemplating each of their owners.
His gaze quickly dropped to the lowest of the chairs, to Vexen's, the Chilly Academic. Xemnas was aware of the meeting that had taken place the day prior. He knew that Vexen, going rather beyond his station, had called a meeting of the Nobodies, to establish order and bring the Organization back into focus. He may have been Number VI of the Organization, but his true Rank was lower than to call such a thing. However, it showed ambition, a drive to bring the Organization closer to its goal. So, not only was Xemnas not going to punish Vexen, he planned to congratulate him on taking the initiative. Maybe it was time his Rank was closer to his Number
After that, his gaze drifted over to the chair opposite of Xemnas's. The Throne of Roxas, the Keys of Destiny. The most important tool in the Organization, for his Keys were the only ones, at the moment, that directly served the Organization's purposes. That brought them closer to the Heart of Hearts, Kingdom Hearts. Roxas was the one Xemnas most desired to attend, as he needed the boy to go on a rampage against the Heartless menace infesting Xemnas's world. That Dark XII that was lead by Xemnas's counterpart, Ansem.
Silence infested the room as Xemnas continued to quietly contemplate his comrades and their thrones. They should start to arrive soon...

And arrive soon they did. For the infested silence was then instantly cured as a rupture occurred. A tear in the fabric that separates this realm from the realm of darkness that they use for transportation. Being a Nobody, the darkness has no more hold over them, for they no longer posses a heart to be corrupted.
The corridors of darkness were opened on the lowest chair in the circle. The one that Xemnas had been looking at only seconds ago. Within mere moments, the figure of the organization's number IV appeared. The long platina colored hair falling in perfect straight lines from his head. The green beady eyes opened as he looked up at the highest chair. For an intense moment, he stared up at Xemnas. Reassuring himself that it was truly him that was present. That he had finally returned.
His cold calculated mind could only assure himself that the long wait was finally over. But still the irony of it all could not escape his attention. For it was only yesterday that he himself sat here in this very room, in this very chair. Attending a meeting he had summoned himself. The number IV could not help but wander if it was perhaps that bold move of his that triggered the return of their leader. Had he been observing them from secret all this time? Had he perhaps been waiting for him or somebody else to act in such a fashion? The timing was to suspicious to be taken for mere coïncidence. Had Xemnas perhaps been testing them?
These thoughts raced through his head in only a fraction of a second. Despite all his reasoning, the one big question would remained unanswered for now. Opening his mouth, Vexen spoke to his leader with his cackling voice: "Master Xemnas, you have returned..." In the brief pause that followed, Vexen bowed his head toward him. The two locks that frame his face fell forward as he said with a softer voice: "...how fortunate."
The question remained unanswered. It was tormenting his mind, it was burning on his lips. 'Where have you been?' But he would not ask it. For it would be rude and a sign of disrespect to simply ask. An action that could anger the Nobody Leader. And if there was only one thing that Vexen feared, then it was the wrath of Xemnas.
Hearing the sound of a Corridor of Darkness tear through the silence of the room, Xemnas leaned forward in his Throne, looking down and to his right at Vexen's arrival. Good, how perfect that he would arrive first, and so punctual as well. A wickedly evil smile crossed Xemnas's face, expressing his satisfaction, if not any true emotion. The Nobody leader listened as Vexen's icy cold voice spoke.
"Master Xemnas, you have returned..." He said, bowing his head respectfully before speaking more softly, "...How fortunate."
As entities without hearts, Nobodies did not technically fear anything, at least, in theory. But Xemnas knew, that if there was one thing any Nobody in his Organization XIII could fear, it was their leader. It gave Xemnas a strong sense of satisfaction to know that despite his absence, he still instilled such fear in the fearless.
Xemnas could read it in Vexen's appearance, that he was desperately curious to know where Xemnas had been, even if he was afraid to ask. Xemnas would indeed tell him, in due time. When more members had arrived. In the meantime, Xemnas would speak to the Chilly Academic about his initiative to get the Organization moving towards its goals.
"Vexen, my friend." Xemnas began, pausing for a long moment as he let his statement hang in the air. Xemnas grinned his false grin as he continued. "I'm sure you're wondering, exactly where I've been, aren't you?"
Xemnas paused again as he glanced around at the other Thrones in the room. It was Xemnas who had summoned them this time, surely everyone would arrive, posthaste. "I will tell you, when more of our comrades have arrived, so I won't have to repeat myself."
Xemnas sat back in his Throne, comfortable before continuing. "In the meantime, I'd like to....thank you, for your efforts yesterday. You showed initiative in my absence to drive this Organization towards its goals. Despite being the fourth in our Order, and an old friend from back when we still had Hearts, you have long been the least respected member, with little real power. As a reward for trying so hard to drive this Organization towards our goals, I am going to promote you. Your Number will reflect your Rank. Saïx will still be my second-in-command, followed by Xigbar," Xemnas didn't mention how Xigbar's friendship with Xemnas was far older than anyone realized, extending to before Xehanort had arrived in Radiant Garden with amnesia. "And then, you."
Xemnas leaned forward again to see Vexen's reaction to his promotion.
Emotionless... That one word completely described the one who appeared. As the corridor of darkness vanished, a man sat on one of the thrones, which was on the opposite side of Zexion's. Who was it? The man undearneath the cloak placed his hands on his hood and slowly took it off. The face was revealed. It was the Luna Diviner, Saïx. Saïx examined his surroundings. He looked up to see that their leader was here.
Good... It had been a while since he discussed with the rest of the Organization. The last time he talked with the whole Organization was... A long time ago. Even before his death, his fellow members were already dead, so it had been a long time since he talked to the whole Organization XIII. Hopefully, the others would actually arrive, instead of having a small meeting between the Superior and a few others, including him. The only one he wouldn't care to see would be... The traitors...
Anyways, his mind returned to the meeting. Vexen and Xemnas, besides him, were the only ones there. Number VII closed his eyes for a quick second, taking a deep breath. Maybe they would finally complete their goal this time, instead of being killed off. Hopefully, that would be the case. As his eyes opened, he simply watched Number I and Number IV.
"What is being discussed?" the Luna Divider asked with his cold and serious tone.

The Gambler of Fate entered the room in a portal of pure darkness. The cloak that he wore rested on his shoulders, the hood covering his head for the moment. As he gently floated down to the seat of his rank, number X, He removed the hood from his head, revealing the blonde nobody's face. He twirled a couple of dice around in his hands, looking at the Leader, Xemnas; The man of the moon, Saix; And the Frigid Scientist, Vexen. It seemed that Number I and Number IV were in the middle of an intense conversation. The strands of time showed to Luxord that The Superior just offered a promotion to the one currently ranked IV in the organization, and that he would be Following his rank in the Organization. While it was technically ranked as Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, and Vexen, it was actually Xemnas, Saix, Xigbar, and now apparently Vexen. How dissappointing for the Gambler of Fate as he listened to this.
It seemed that little praise would reach to one so far down the ladder. With Marluxia a traitor, Larxene formally an aid to number XI, and Roxas currently missing, it seemed that Luxord was the last rank in the Organization. Granted, it was truly Demyx who rested at the bottom, but in terms of number, Luxord seemed dead last. He continued to twirl the dice as he looked at the seat of the Graceful Assassin, now cracked from the rose that he had placed into it. The note that accompanied it yesterday had held some interesting information, but nothing too big to worry about. He still noticed the note laying on the floor of the room. No one had taken it with them, so it therefore fell to the bottom. A snap of his fingers allowed it to rise and come to him as he re-read it. Granted it would be given to Xemnas later on, but Luxord wanted to make sure that he had not missed something. And sure enough, he did not.
He folded the note back up and set it on the arm of his chair. When it was requested, he would offer it to the Superior. But until now, he would sit, in silence, as he waited for the meeting to officially begin. As he continued to twirl the dice in his hands, he quickly flipped the hand, with 13 cards now taking the place of the dice. It was the same 13 that he had when he found himself again in The World That Never Was. This time however, much fewer cards had faces on them. Larxene and Roxas were the only two that he had not heard from or seen, Marluxia being the only one that was heard from but not seen. All others were either present at the previous meeting, or currently showed their face. A flick of his wrist sent the cards flying toward the chairs of numbers XII and XIII, as if filling their void before they made their presence known. His hands retreated into the sleeves of the opposite arms as he crossed them, waiting for further instruction.
Xemnas looked over to his left as Saïx, the Luna Divider, appeared on his throne, soon followed by Luxord, the Gambler of Fate. Good, good, more were arriving. And of course, Xemnas's second-in-command was punctual and arrived early. Luxord's timely arrival was also pleasant. Soon enough the rest were sure to arrive.
"What is being discussed?" Was all the emotionless Saïx had to ask. Xemnas appreciated how simple and to the point Number VII was. It made Xemnas's response so much easier.
"Before the meeting officially begins, I was just telling Vexen here of his promotion. His Number will henceforth reflect his actual Rank among us." Xemnas said, motioning with his hand towards the Chilly Academic. "You remain my second-in-command, Saïx, with Xigbar between you two."
In his mind Xemnas quickly reviewed the Rankings of the Nobodies:
I. Xemnas - Leader. VII. Saïx - Second-in-command. II. Xigbar - Old Friend, trusted confidant, Founding member. IV. Vexen - Reward for driving the Organization in Xemnas's absense, as well as being a founding member. III. Xaldin - Founding Member, Hard worker. V., VI., VIII., X., XIII. Lexaeus, Zexion, Axel, Luxord, and Roxas. Dedicated workers IX. Demyx. lazy bum XI. & XII. Marluxia and Larxene, traitors
As well as the once again traitors, Marluxia and Larxene, though now that Xemnas was back, they may be allowed to rejoin the Organization, pending good behavior.
Xemnas quickly drew his rather organized thoughts back to the room, and watched as Luxord mad a piece of paper float up from the floor. A wry grin briefly crossed Xemnas's face as he thought about how something as insignificant as a piece of paper could go unnoticed to even Xemnas's perceptive eyes, because of how high up Xemnas's throne was. After quickly reading it, Luxord folded it and set it on his armrest before changing the dice in his hands into cards, throwing two towards the Thrones of Larxene and Roxas.
Xemnas saw that these cards had the images of their Thrones owners on them. Xemnas saw no practical reason for such a thing, prompting him to believe that they were there for a more abstract reason, to fill the void, or something? "How...sentimental of you, Luxord. Did you do the same for me Yesterday? Do you think that Roxas will not show for this meeting?"
At that point, Xemnas became curious about the note the Gambler had picked up. With a small motion of his hand, the note lifted off Luxord's Throne, and drifted up to Xemnas. He opened it and read it. The contents of the note were most amusing to Xemnas, especially a single, particular line.
"'That vacant mansion I still hold contains no more mysteries.' Oh you arrogant fool." Xemnas grinned wickedly. There would always be one mystery in that Castle, that no one, save one, would ever solve, and she was lost to Darkness, for the moment. For neither Axel nor Xemnas had ever managed to find the Chamber of Waking, and Xemnas doubted that finding it was within Marluxia's capabilities.
Setting the note down, Xemnas glanced over at Marluxia's Throne, and the rose sticking out of it. With a sweeping motion of his hand, Xemnas had the rose turned into nothing, and the throne restored to pristine condition, as if nothing had ever happened to it.
"Who, if anyone, has gone to meet with Marluxia?" Xemnas asked of the room at large.
(>_> had to go back and read what the note said)

Luxord watched as the Superior explained what the strands of time had already shown its master. He then listened as Xemnas spoke to him about the cards that he had sent over chairs number XII and XIII. "Those cards merely fill the void of those who I have not made Contact. Neither Larxene nor Roxas have been seen or heard from, at least not by me sense my return. If these cards disturb you, however, then it is all too easy to remove them." He said, a small smile on his face, showing his sincerity. He truly had no closer tie toward darkness or light, and liked to stay that way as Luck would be better off straight down the middle.
He then watched as Xemnas lifted the note off of his chair and shrugged. He had planned on giving it to him, but apparently, curiousity was larger in Xemnas then Luxord had anticipated. As he listened to Xemnas speak a sentence from the note left by Number XI, he wondered what he meant by calling him a fool. Was there something that Xemnas knew was there that no one else had? It was certainly possible, but Luxord would not pry as it was not his place. While he often made a mention about how he was at the bottom of the rankings, he didn't entirely mind it. He was given missions like everyone else, and wasn't given too much in the way of special direction, allowing him to do his work well, and allow the higher-ups to make the more important decisions.
Xemnas then proceded to mend the chair broken by Marluxia's rose, and asked who had left to meet with Marluxia. Luxord was the one who spoke up first. "Why it was Number III, Xaldin, and Number XIII, Axel, who left to find the traitor. Xaldin specifically chose Axel for the task, and left Vexen in charge while we awaited your return." He stated, wondering if Xemnas would send another to go and get him along with the two that had already left, or if he would have a little more information regarding Marluxia's dissappearance. Luxord would be grateful for the latter at it would allow him to understand something that he was entirely confused about. Why would a member of the Organization leave? He was curious as to what had happened, so he hoped that his leader would provide some small insight into the incident. He returned to silence once more, awaiting further discussion. He would also remove the cards of Larxene and Roxas should Xemnas request such a thing.
Vexen's cold calculated face seemed to have melted as a hint of expression flushed across his face. But such a thing was hard to see on the face of the lowest chair, for not much was revealed to those looking down. Still the scientist was invigorated by excitement and mostly pride. A forgotten feeling of bliss coursed back through his limbs. No, not bliss. Such a thing was from the heart he no longer possesses. These experiences were nothing but a ruse from his former live. No this was something else, something much more important.
It was the feeling of power. Vexen immediately realized it. The authority he now held over the others that was long denied from him. He had been disrespected for so long that he had lost this feeling. And now it was greatly restored, beneficing him mentally. Righting his back the number IV took a majestic pride position in his chair. As his face turned to a stone cold neutral mask again. 'Finaly....' Vexen thought: '... I am receiving what I deserve!' The moment had however the bitter taste that Saïx still remained Xemnas second in command. A position that the Lunar Diviner does not deserve in his opinion. But that was an issue for a later time, Vexen concluded.
Vexen remained his cold posture as he replied to their leader with a calm tone. Choosing his words carefully and deducting the best possible reply from countless of comparisons and theories. Finally saying:" I only did what was best for the organization, Master Xemnas. "
Time and events passed in the room where Nothing gathers as the topic of Marluxia surfaced. The Chilly Academic remained silent as he listened and observed the conversation. Luxord was most eager to activity for he placed cards on all empty seats and swiftly responded on Xemnas question. This was in slight contrast to his behavior yesterday during the meeting that he had summoned. Yesterday he was more passive as he only spoke his mind. It seemed that now that Xemnas had returned, the Gambler of Fate was doing his best to give off a good impression. Why would he even need to do such a thing... unless he had done something wrong. An interesting theory that brewed in his mind, one perhaps worth verifying.
Contemplating on the number X's answer, Vexen righted his head toward Xemnas and added: "It is true, Xaldin and Axel will not return without Marluxia... one way or the other. On that note I must also inform you that Lexaeus and Zexion are currently also hunting a specific being known as Seed. A human form Heartless working for the Dark XII but not considered to be one among their ranks. It is possible that their quest might hinder them to respond to your calling."
Vexen then leaned back a little in his chair. Keeping his arms resting on the sides of his chair. He had done all he could for now. As for now they had to wait for the arrival of the others before the meeting could truly commence. The number IV only hoped that his patience would be tested for to long.
(Seedykins gave me permission to do what is done in my post. Sorry Zexion, both he and I thought it would go faster without a thread. But if you want to make one just for the hell of it let me know)
"On that note I must also inform you that Lexaeus and Zexion are currently also hunting a specific being known as Seed. A human form Heartless working for the Dark XII but not considered to be one among their ranks. It is possible that their quest might hinder them to respond to your calling."
"Not as long as you may have hoped Vexen..." a low and calm voice echoed in the room. A portal opened up on the chair next to the Academic. The hulking figure of Lexaeus now sat with arms crossed and eyes focused on Xemnas. Not that the Hero was unhappy that their leader had returned, but he wasn't exactly thrilled about it either. He moved his left arm to the wall behind him and then moved it off, a large chunk of it, or rather it was being pulled from another area, followed the hand as it left. It was a small sphere just big enough to hold a single person. "My mission too astonishingly shorter than anticipate," Lexaeus began as the sphere of earth became transparent and revealed the Heartless Seed beaten and bloody with tears and holes in his clothing curled up in a ball. His breathing was shallow but even if he was to die he would only be reborn in the Darkness.
The sphere moved to the exact center of the room for all to see their new captive. Though the Hero was not sure if the others would be thrilled to see a Heartless amongst their castle, he was sure that Xemnas would be pleased to have a potential informant against their enemies. "I leave the decision of what to do with him next up to you Superior. Though I warn you, he may be talkative in battle, he will not so easily relinquish information to us.". With that said V crossed his arms once again and waited to be spoken to and for the arrival of Zexion.
"Those cards merely fill the void of those who I have not made Contact. Neither Larxene nor Roxas have been seen or heard from, at least not by me sense my return. If these cards disturb you, however, then it is all too easy to remove them."
Xemnas nodded as the Gambler explained his actions with his cards. While the act itself was rather silly in Xemnas's opinion, it did grant him a bit of information, that Roxas and Larxene had not been seen for some time, and might not be likely to show. Pity. Larxene was a minor concern compared to the missing Roxas. The Keybearer was a linchpin in all of Xemnas's plans. There was still Sora and his friends, but their Keys did not follow Xemnas's will. Depending on whether or not Roxas showed up by the ending of this meeting, Xemnas may have to have Vexen revive the Replica Project and attempt to create a suitable Keybearer.
However, on an aside, Xemnas was pleased by Vexen's reaction. The pride at receiving what he likely saw as an overdue reward was palpable for a moment before his icy mask once again fell over him, though, he noticeably sat on his Throne with more poise. "I only did what was best for the organization, Master Xemnas."
"Indeed." Xemnas said simply, nodding at Vexen. Before turning back to Luxord as he answered Xemnas' question.
"Why it was Number III, Xaldin, and Number XIII, Axel, who left to find the traitor. Xaldin specifically chose Axel for the task, and left Vexen in charge while we awaited your return."
Xemnas again nodded, understanding Luxord's explanation. How aptly ironic though, that Xaldin left Vexen in charge, now that Vexen is now of a higher Rank than Xaldin himself. However, the Chilly Academic apparently had something to add.
"It is true, Xaldin and Axel will not return without Marluxia... one way or the other. On that note I must also inform you that Lexaeus and Zexion are currently also hunting a specific being known as Seed. A human form Heartless working for the Dark XII but not considered to be one among their ranks. It is possible that their quest might hinder them to respond to your calling."
At this a displeased frown crossed Xemnas' face, not at what had been said but at the situation it implied. Xaldin, Lexaeus, Zexion, Axel, Marluxia, Larxene, and Roxas. Over half the Organization were more likely not to attend this meeting. Unacceptable. When the Superior summons, all should come. To do otherwise was to incur Xemnas' wrath. Just as Xemnas was considering a suitable punishment for the absentees however, the voice of the Silent Hero was heard.
"Not as long as you may have hoped Vexen..."
A portal of Darkness appeared in the Throne across from Vexen, on Saïx's right. In it sat the giant figure of the Number V, Lexaeus, the Silent Hero. The presence of this old friend removed the frown from Xemnas, which was replace be a grin as he listened to and watched the Hero.
Xemnas watched with a curious look as Lexaeus reached behind him and removed a sphere from the wall, just about the size of a person.
"My mission too astonishingly shorter than anticipate," The Hero said, to which Xemnas nodded.
Human form Nobodies were people with the greatest wills, so of course, they often got things done in a timely manner when they set their minds to it. If all they were pursuing was a mere Heartless, two Organization Members were sure to have no trouble. On the other hand, that meant that Xaldin and Axel, against Marluxia and potentially Larxene were bound to have a hard time, and were reasonably likely to be delayed.
The sphere was swiftly moved to the center of the room, where all could see as it became transparent, revealing the bloody and beat up Seed, curled up in a ball. A wicked grin returned to Xemnas' face as he looked upon the pitiful Heartless.
"I leave the decision of what to do with him next up to you Superior. Though I warn you, he may be talkative in battle, he will not so easily relinquish information to us."
Xemnas turned to Number V and gave him a small nod saying, "That matters not, my old friend. I will extract the information I need from him in due time. Good work."
Xemnas then stared at the boy, contemplating how exactly he would interrogate it, as he awaited the rest of his Organization to arrive.
(Lexaeus is Number V, an odd number, he would be across from Vexen, to Xemnas' left, while Vexen is Number IV, and even number which would be to Xemnas' right)
(AS SEED, not Marly....dont give your hopes up Xemmy >.> )
The Heartless' memory of the fight with Lexaeus was all a blur, his head had been bounced off several rock spires in the encounter. All he could remember was walking in the forest when he smelled a Nobody on its way and a few images of Lexaeus and some fighting...then nothing. Like some one stopped a movie and cut the reel from then till now. He opened his eyes...well eye, his left eye was swollen shut and looked up. He could see the man who attacked him talking to someone else in what appeared to be a circular room with different heights of chairs. He tried to move his body but immense pain was what he was meet with. He gave scream of pain and nearly passed out from it but he was barely able to keep himself awake.
"Damn you...you...bastard...what did..I...ever do....to you!..." the Heartless said between breaths. Seed had only meet this guy once and was lucky to have made it out alive, which was only done because Lexaeus did not want to draw attention to the battlefield. The only motion Seed was able to do with his body was move his right arm up slightly and he only held up his middle finger. The gesture was towards Lexaeus at first but Seed moved his arm to the person he was talking to held it there for several moments before passing out once more. Elaeus would not be happy....at all.
A dark portal appeared over the Whirlwind Lancer's seat as he stepped out of it, adjusting his robe and sitting down. As he looked around the room, he noticed the presence of a new entity, one that wasn't there the last meeting.
Xemnas.
Xaldin gave a small bow with his head before reflecting on what he had heard when he had entered. It had sounded like a boy's voice...could it have been that Lexaeus had succeeded. As he looked at the boy, his notion was confirmed.
"I congragulate you on the capture, Lexaeus." said the Whirlwind Lancer with a small clap. "But that is only part of his capture of him." Xaldin looked up to ensure that no others were talking and continued. "As for mine and Axel's capture, we have not succeeded in capturing Marluxia, but we have an idea of where he is located. As soon as we can, we will apprehend the traitor and...persuade him to re-enter our ranks." He gave a glare up and said, "Even if it means we have to use force."
"Of course, you could always give the word, and we'd be happy to annihilate the traitor," the words permeated the room half a second before a burst of black and silver wisps announced the attendance of another to their midst. They faded to reveal none other than Number Eight, the redhead. A cruel smirk hung across his face at the thought of a brutal battle against one of his previous superior Numbers; and this cold cover-up was a clever disguise from the dissatisfying idea of being dragged back to yet another meeting. Hadn't they had enough of these to last for a few years to come?
Nevertheless, it was another meeting, and he didn't plan to bail on his chance at a Heart. So then, it was onto the matters at hand...
The Nobody turned his head toward Xemnas' chair, offering a welcoming nod to the Superior. That bloodthirsty smirk had lightened, but remained intact on his jester-ish face.
Xemnas turned his attention back to the captured boy, who was flipping off Lexaeus and then Xemnas himself. Xemnas grinned evilly at the boy's audacity. He had spirit, Xemnas would give him that, but how long he would hold up under interrogation, especially after his apparently brutal capture by the Silent Hero, who could say. Xemnas made a motion with his arm at the sphere, causing no more sound to escape its walls. Didn't want the little thing interrupting the meeting.
Xemnas then turned his attention to the new arrivals, Xaldin and Axel, whom he had been told were not likely to arrive. How nice that that had been proven wrong. Xemnas listened as Xaldin congratulated Lexaeus on his success before telling Xemnas about his failure, quickly reassuring him that they would succeed in time though.
"Of course, you could always give the word, and we'd be happy to annihilate the traitor,"
At least he was eager and willing. That made him more useful than most in his own way, simply point and he'll kill most anything Xemnas desired.
Xemnas nodded in greeting for the two new arrivals and then looked around the room, taking note of who was here at this point, and who wasn't. Xaldin, Vexen, Lexaeus, Saïx, Axel, and Luxord. Little over half the Organization sat here. According to the testimony of Lexaeus and Luxord, Zexion was soon to arrive, while Roxas and Larxene were least likely to arrive, as they haven't been seen in a while. That left Xigbar and Demyx as having a fifty-fifty chance of arriving before the meeting commenced and Marluxia as a traitor on the run.
Xemnas let out an exaggerated sigh of annoyance. He would wait just a bit longer for the rest of the expected members to arrive before the meeting began. More and more it seemed Vexen was more deserving of his promotion, for both his punctuality and his efforts to advance the Organization's goals.
"So this is the creature known as 'Seed'... what a disappointment." The cackling voice of Vexen echoëd coldly through the room. The Chilly Academic was leaning over in front, having placed his hands in front of him. Fingers intertwined as it formed a bed for his chin to rest on. His narrow eyes staring penetratingly at the captive while studying it swiftly. Observing it through the veil of transparent earth that now was fortunately sound proof.
After the brief study, Vexen relaxed and leaned back into his chair. Slowly turning his gaze over at Lexaeus, taking note of his posture and unharmed state. The number IV had indeed hoped that the Silent Hero would need a much longer time to defeat and apprehend this thing. For then it would have proved to have powers at least worthy to be considered. Still analysis so far concluded that 'Seed' was not even intelligent enough to understand the situation he was in. For he surely wouldn't have made such a rude gesture then.
Information was his only value, that much was true. But perhaps... something dark stirred in the back of the platina blonde male.
