In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Same as Shiay. I've already made a few OC keyblades, and in fact, think they're best. Like Aryn said, each Keyblade reflects on the person's memories, and each Keyblade should be unique to their path or decisions. It would make sense to have Keyblades which are custom-made to the character's unique characteristics. However, I really like Gorrad/Aryn's idea- characters should totally be able to give Keychains to people who have done a great service to them. The only problem with this is, people may go a bit crazy and give out Keychains to everybody they meet. Maybe a limited number of Keychains per character?

Hmm... Or maybe someone who has a job JUST to moniter who has what keyblades (IE: A new staff position). That way they wouldnt be bugged with character, rp academy, etc. But they could focus on the keyblades that have been submitted them, allowing them for use, and so on.
Also, perhaps a post count requirement before any thoughts of even having a keyblade are given?
[Edit: For the new staff position. It would have to be given to a neutral person. Someone who is like me, who doesnt really interact with anyone on here OOC, and wouldnt have preference of one person over the other.]

^^^^ Agreed with completely. I still think those who have a Keyblade currently should keep Wielder status. Having Original Keyblades is something I am absolutely for. I know I don't like other people dipping into my kool-aid. Sora probably doesn't either. His Keyblades should be his.
It has to be the way the character lived his/her life in the past, whether the character did something very good or very bad.
So, Sora should keep the Keychains, they're gifts from their friends, and they're sentimental for him. *thinks about sentimental things..*
And like Gorrad said:
You want Sleeping Lion? You better have impressed Leon SIGNIFICANTLY in the past.
If you impress someone, he/she could give you a Keyblade or Keychain that resembles the person you impressed. Example, in my fan-fiction story, Daniel (my OC) impressed Cloud, and he got the Second Tsurugi Keyblade(one of my fan-made Keyblades), and if someone already gave a Keychain to someone (Like Leon did to Sora), the next Keychain he/she must give to another person must be different from the past(Like Lionheart to Sleeping Lion).
And I really liked the idea of OC Keyblades = OC Characters
Alright, you guys brought me over to your side. However, I don't really agree on other characters being able to hand out Keychains. I think that would just complicate things more. The purpose to version 5.0 is to make it much easier to use.
Well, another question: Since Roxas wields two Keyblades, which are actually Sora's, should I redesign his and give him two new ones, or because Roxas is Sora, he should be allowed to wield the Oathkeeper and Oblivion?
I am holding a wielder activity check right now and those who wield Keyblades from the game will be able to create personalized ones.

I think it would be thoughtful for Roxas to wield keyblades in dedication of close friends like Axel as Sora had keyblades in dedication to Kairi and Riku. There can be a keyblade in memory of Axel and nother in memory of his friends in Twilight Town, Pence, Olette, and Hayner. It would be more sentimental, since Roxas really doesn't have a close relationship with Kairi and Rikku. Plus I think he was more influenced by his friends in Twilight Town then he had with his small encounters with Namine >> unless more occured between them in the RP.

First we need a satisfactory explanation as to how/why Roxas is existing outside of Sora. In order for Sora to walk around, awake like a normal human being, he needed Roxas to join with him. We do see him pop out for a short bit, but he is never tangible and only interacts with Namine and Sora.
Roxas needs a Heart to wield Keyblades and he needs Sora's Heart to wield Oathkeeper and Oblivion.

Actually, that's not necessarily true- Roxas was able to wield Keyblades during his time as Number XIII of the Organization. This led to the belief that either Sora became so attuned with the Keyblade that he was able to pass the ability to wield it on to his Nobody, or that because of Roxas' connection to Sora's heart that he was able to wield the Keyblade.
Maybe Roxas was the key to kick-starting Sora's system. I mean, Sora was able to exist just fine in Castle Oblivion despite the fact that Roxas still existed at the same time. Maybe Roxas was the final component of Namine's memory restoration.
I honestly agree with Serif. But if there were to be alternative Keyblades for Roxas, then it would have to be Bond of Flame and Fateful Encounter (Two Across).
EDIT: And surely, since Sora and Roxas are basically the same person (as in a give or take a few consciousnesses, if such a thing even makes sense), Roxas should be able to access at least two Keyblades? The only problem with that, however, is that when Roxas is wielding Oathkeeper and Oblivion, Sora may not...
