In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Damien merely shrugged at her observation; actually he hadn't confirmed if he didn't like this place. Yes he was knew to it, but it was different and dynamic for him to roam through it without too many objections. It would be easier to conclude his liking if he gets what he wanted. Then again the sooner, he finds everything, the sooner this place would cease to be.
Walking off the platform, he looked towards what the fracture. "Why would a bin...have an inadequate opening?"
Although it may contain what the computer doesn't need or want, one would think they will handle it accordingly. Naturally his tension came back as he stopped in his track. Although everything seemed too good to be true roaming the grid with hardly any interruptions...there's a room with a damaged opening. With said within itself, he isn't going to skip inside. Generally with a chaotic opening, something chaotic had occured or dwells inside, "Rose."
He hadn't planned on how to express his skeptism, but his question and calling her by name was all he could muster as he speculated.
Rose poked her head into the fracture. There was a large opening a few yards further along, and she plled her head out and went to it.
"Rose."
"Relax dude. No one protects a garbage heap." Indeed, there appeared to be all kinds of junk data laying aound the edges. There was a small red button dead center in the room. She pushed it. A large hexshield flashed across all the openings, and the junk data floated into the air about two feet above her head, and formed into blocks. A text box appeared. "State what you seek."
(You're choice, damien can be locked in or out.)

Yet free care and tending to said garbage can have repercussion
The L'Cie just remained silent as Rose walked out of his sight. He glanced around wondering if Halen had followed as well, but he didn't put it pass the Heartless to NOT follow her. Glancing around seeing nothing that seemed to be out of the norm, he walked slowly towards the fracture, but slow and steady loose the race as the entry was blocked.
No one guards a dump she says he reached out his hand to touch the red shield. He looked at the shield seeing that it wasn't the case.
"What do I seek? Uhm... I seek knowledge of the past," Rose said to the text box. A single data cube lit up blue, then copied itself. It shrunk, and floated towards Rose. She reached for it, but it dodged. All the big boxes turned red. It floated into one, and they began spinning quickly. Rose backed out of the center, spinning her body to keep the right box in sight. That made he dizzy, but Halen propped her up, and she kept watching. The boxes slowed. and the text box appeared in front of her. "Where is that which you seek?"

Luckily he was able to see what's going on inside, well somewhat. He stood at the entry leaning against the sturdy walls. There were a series of identical boxes and they were all rotating around the room. Since there was nothing severe to react to, he merely just stood watch, if that was even neccessary.
He did kept his ears opened so he wouldn't be caught of guard or trapped in his own little world as he let his mind roamed. Truthfully, he wasn't in a rush to learn much about this world, because once that's fulfillment is over he have no reason to delay the procedure of his focus. Unfortunately he was enjoying its scenery; although he wasn't well versed and communitive with the people, he could relate to their struggle to preserve their livelihood. In a sense, he would be taking it away only to bring it back a tenfold.
Rose tapped the box she had been watching. It flashed blue, and the data cube floated out of it, and into another one. "Hey, Damien, could you keep and eye on that box?" Rose backed up, and the boxes began spinning much faster. Well. Crap. THe boxes slowed to a stop, and she stared at them. She had no idea which one it was. She looked to Damien for support.

Wouldn't that be quite difficult when I'm only in one position with less perspective variations...
She had better luck chasing after versus him staring in and homing on it as other boxes cut infront of his vision leaving him with an estimated guess of the boxes general direction. With a sigh, the L'Cie went along with it; the box better be benefitial.
The boxes has spunned quickly, and the blue light faded out of sight. Once they floated slower and saw Rose glance, he ushered towards the boxes on the rear left, "try those..."
Hopefully she had a quirk of luck to figure out between three of them.
"Uhm... Okay..." She walked over to the boxes, then a thought struck her. By calculating the speed at which the boxes had been rotating, she could have figured out which was which. That didn't serve her well now, but she would remember for the next round. Instead, she pulled up a probability script and ran it. It choose the rightmost box with a 74.32% chance of being right. They weren't great oods, but that was the one she selected. She pulled up a different script, on that would record the speed of the boxes as they moved, but Halen had other ideas. As soon as the data cube selected a new box, he leapt on and 2Ded. No matter how much force was exerted, he wouldn't be thrown. So when the boxes finally slowed, and he fell off, dizzier than hell, rose was able to easily select the correct box. It floated over to her, and entered her computer, which brought up a download bar. The hexshield collapsed, and the junk area was oppened up. "I think we won!"

"What did we win exactly?" Damien questioned once he got through the gaping hole of a doorway. He knew it was a box, but what specific content inside would come out of the said box. A finger stretched out to poke it wondering if it would activate instantly.
Rose tapped a few keys. The new data came up. "It's a... lab report... It's talking about the discovery of the Heartless." As rose read, she began shaking her head, a look of disbelief on her face. "Unbelievable... It says here that the Heartless were originally brought to this world by a group of scientists. They wee experimenting on peoples Hearts. I wonder if Heart actually means soul... Anyways, they pumped a heart with darkness, and it turned into a little Shadow. They released it into the castle, and followed it into the deepest basement, where they found a door..."
(The data recovered is the Ansem reports from the first game.)

This brought a little light to Damien's thoughts as he began to understand everything more than before. So this is what he was meant to undo, the chaotic stream that flourish from this very spot. Still seeing the transition this world went through, he wasn't fully aware of why such a high measures needed to be taken, yet he never questioned the fal'cie before. Why start now?
"A door?" Damien repeated a bit lost before humming to himself pondering it over. Why would they follow a heartless for? What would a heartless wish to seek? Already he could connect the dots without be told, but an official declaration agreement would only solidify his inquiry. "Where is this door?"
Rose scrolled through the text quickly, for a location, but there was none. "It doesn't say. Only that there is, or was, one. It led to... Hold on, that can't be right..." A massive energy core? The heart of this world? Is that what that old man had meant? And this worlds hve two cores? Or is there something else going on? Rose had assumed that the towns she had been too were all on the same planet, even though the sun never seemed to move... "The door... It leads to the core. Or the Heart. Whichever is your prefered terminology."

(oops almost forgot about this thread)
"Mmhm," Damien replied as he thought to himself. The doorway couldn't have been too far from where he was. In short, it was close-by, and eventually he would have to seek it out. "I take it that's how this world went through many changes, the exposure it had to all the negativity around it."
"I just don't understand how that works. The center of a planet is made of molten metals and rocks. How could emotion affect..." Rose realized that shewas doing that thing again, where she applied her old knowledge to this new place. It was obvious that the universe worked differently here, for whatever reason. "I guess I got a lot to learn."

"I would simply say that there is something that links us altogether. That same raw energy the world have as well," sure the worlds were composited of earthly matter, but there was more than just matter that makes up this life source. "Out of curiosity, what do you think your heartless friend is exactly?"
Surely understanding what he was would translate everything more easily.
