In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kyriu thought for a minute. He would have simply blurted out, '' Heck why don't we just go home!! right right?'' but that wouldn't help. Since Kuri was out here..taking her back home wouldn't help her hunger to explore. Therefore evn though he didn't want to...he had to go with this whole situation...but maybe a little exploring wouldn't hurt.
'' I can get better while walking Kuri...right now let's satisfy that curious pretty head of yours'' Kyriu said then kissed her cheek. Now then there wasn't much for him to show her here. A hotel..a fountain..and other random stuff...nothing intresting...but it gave him an idea.
'' How about this Kuri...you can explore as much as you want...I'll just follow your lead. But stay close ok? That way things will be fine....so let's see where your feet take us princess''

Lakuri slightly looked at Kyriu strangly when he said for her to lead. "Ok Kyrii.... but I have no idea whats around here.... I may lead us into trouble..." she said and held his arm tightly. "I can still try though... just warn me ok?" she said and started to slowly walk away from the Door to the First district. Now that it was "ok" for her to be here, Lakuri had the chance to acctually look to see what was around. There was a Hotel near by, a few shops, a chuch looking building, and others around with shiny signs; a lot diffrent from the first district.
Although she was instructed to stay near by, Lakuri had a lot of energy. So she let go of Kyriu's arm and quickly hopped off to look around although she still staye close.
Lakuri ran up to the walls that separated the shops from the loer court yard, and decided that instead of useing the stairs just a few feet away, she'd climb the wall. She perched herself atop it, then looked down at Kyriu.
"Kyrii is it ok with you if I climb stuff?" she asked. She didn't want to make him even madder...
Kyriu did expect Kuri to start running off..and that was ok..but what he didn't anticipate was her sudden climb. That was just strange...but nothing was quite normal with them was it? '' Um..'' Kyriu began but was cut off by something he saw a few feet ahead. He could have sworn that something passed a shop a few seconds ago..but it was best to leave it for now.
The student tried his best not to worry about Kuri...he noticed that doing so.especially outside draws trouble. He couldn't really put his finger on it....but just him worrying always attracted heartless...If what Kuri said about him having a strong heart was true.....Kyriu might have to be careful on how he acts in the district.
'' Just don't go too far off ok? I'd join you but um...I'm not really allowed to run..and I can't climb without running first. So go on ahead just stay close ok kuri?'' Kyriu said.
Despite his best efforts he was starting to worry.

( making things more interesting…. DUN DUN DDAAAAA )
Lakuri smiled down at Kyriu when he said that he would join her if he could. "Well, that's why you need to get better then sweetie! Then you can adventure with me!" she said happily and stood up and started looking in the windows of the shops around.
Unknown to her, what Kyriu had seen was a heartless getting ready to attack Lakuri while she was distracted. Lakuri however didn't notice and of course, was super distracted. She turned back to Kyriu, since she hadn’t said anything for a few minutes and smiled at him again. “ Hey Kyrii, you seem to know you’re way around… most of the time. How long did you live in Traverse Town before you met me?” She asked cheerfully, as usual when she was excited. Lakuri hopped back over to the wall that she had climbed up and was about to jump down, but a few of the smaller heartless started to appear.
“I got them Kyrii, don’t worry!” Lakuri said and kicked away at the smaller shadows that where now backing Lakuri against the edge of where she had climbed up. Lakuri felt a little more confident in herself now that she knew she could beat the heartless without Kyriu having to fight as well. Only problem being, how to summon peaches again!? She as so determined to win the last time, that he just kind of… appeared… but she didn’t feel so desperate anymore! Please please please come help me! She thought really hard to herself as more heartless started appearing. It took a near attack to her face to get peaches to come out though. “Thank you!” Lakuri said and removed her arm from her face, where it had been to block the heartless’s attack. “Now let’s get them!” She said and managed to get one of the shadows to fade back into the darkness.
This would have been good, if a new, or at least different kind of heartless hadn’t appeared. Lakuri only knew of the small black ones, since she didn’t often stay in any area that would allow anything bigger. A Large Body however decided to make its self apparent. ”What the heck is that thing!?” Lakuri asked out of surprise and tried to back up, but she had been fighting at the edge of the wall. Lakuri tried to push her way though the heartless, but was very unaware of how the Large bodies attacked; charging people. While Lakuri’s focus was on the shadows around her legs, the Large Body charged Lakuri and hit her off the wall. This would have been fine, because Lakuri had quick judgment skills, and knew how to pull off things like flipping backwards to her feet… but unfortunately; there was a bench right below her that she hadn’t expected to be there. So instead of having the maybe eight-nine feet she assumed from hen she climbed up. In actuality, there was about 5 feet, not enough to pull off a full flip. She tried to change it into a handspring, but her arms didn’t have enough strength to actually push her body upwards, but more so just deflected her neck and face from the bench. Lakuri fell unconscious from the impact as soon as she hit the actual hard ground.
Even peaches wasn’t quick enough to catch this, and flew over to Lakuri as she as already laying on the ground. He nudged her head with his to try to get her to wake up, but she wouldn’t. He then darted over to Kyriu and perched himself onto Kyriu’s shoulder, and used his tiny paws to pull madly on his shirt, while making very upset whining noises.
Look in the bottom right/center, that stretch of wall and the bench is where I would imagine them being, so you see, she didn’t fall very far XD most of her injuries ill b in her arms and her head. )
Everything happened so fast and quick it was...........unbelievable. At first Kyriu had the faint feeling of hope...that nothing would go wrong here....that was a very big mistake. Kyriu just stood there frozen as he watched the scene unfold in front of him, and it was pure absolute horror. Just a couple of months ago he would have been able to move fast enough to stop this....but...look at him now!!!
The student looked at the peaches to speak. '' Go make sure she heals....It's better she doesn't see this'' Kyriu said then started casually walking towards his new most hated target. This stuipd fat filth....jumping around as if it did the world justice....it was time it learned a lesson.
Kyriu continued to advance towards his target which appeared to finally notice him. The large body wasted no time in charging towards Kyriu....which is exactly what the boy wanted.
Kyriu closed his eyes and simply waited for the beast to attack.
It was slow at first..almost like he could hear everything all at once. Even a falling leaf could not escape his ears..and all sounds slowed to a crawl.
Kyriu griiped the sheath of his blade tightly and slowly drew his weapon as the large one pounced.
One second passes
Two seconds follow.
A third comes close behind.
The student opens his mouth to speak his voice as old and light as the cheery blossoms.
'' Let this be a message to all those who cross my path.....In this world I hold one thing very dear.....Something I shall never allow any being to take away from me. You make damage me in anyway you see fit...take my soul if you must...I shall let you whatever you desire...except my beloved. Through her I rechieve life, and it is through her that i have joy...and it is only through her that will allow me to know peace.....those that harm my beloved.......'' he paused and sheathed his blade.
'' Shall.....feel my wrath...'''
'' Katana-oni''
And with that the giant above Kyriu spread into several pieces before falling and disappearing on the floor. Which was only fair as it was slashed several times as Kyriu spoke.
Immediately Kyriu knelt down....feeling a quite tired...however this didn't stop him from moving over to Kuri and pulling her away from the bench.
Kyriu laid her in his arms and checked to see if she was broken anywhere.
'' I'm sorry this happened....I promise you that I'll always protect you..now please get better'' Kyriu said.
Had the boy paid more attention he would have noticed that his hand was still shaking due to the immense rage he felt.
That was something he still couldn't bring himself to show Kuri. It really sucked....but the truth of the matter was...he did come from a line of samurai...and they were always good at...killing.
To think that was the many things that he was good at.

Although he wanted to get Kyriu over as soon as possible, peaches flew back over to Lakuri and stood on her stomach, making an almost barking sound to attempt to get her to awaken again. He then moved up her chest to go closer to her face. Peaches continued to act as if he was a wolf, guarding one of its hurt children, and tried licking her face. There was a few of the smaller heartless that tried to come after Lakuri’s body to take her heart away, but Peaches quickly ripped them to shreds. Like Kyriu, he had no mercy upon the creatures that would do this to his “mommy”
Once the heartless seemed to be defended off from her, Peaches crawled around to look for why she wouldn’t get up. He couldn’t find any real reason, so he simply curled up on Lakuri’s stomach like a little fox, and poured a healing spell into her, since that was all he really could do, before poofing away in his little burst of light.
As for Lakuri, she was out cold; She hadn’t the slightest idea of what was going on around her anymore… everything was just… black. Her body quickly became just as lifeless as her blank mind, and had no sign of any muscle resistance when Kyriu finally came over and lifted her into his arms. Her head easily fell over onto Kyriu’s arm as she laid pretty comfortably here she as lifted.
After about a half an hour, Peaches’s healing spell had began to work on Lakuri as she started to switch from unconscious, to just asleep. This also ment that her mind had returned… and she had the strangest dream…
Where am I? Lakuri thought while she looked around this dream world. It was as if both her reality and dreams combined and her current life, had combined with this dream. She knew everything that she should… but as just placed somewhere.. she didn’t know. There was a lot of pale colored flowers around… but no one in sight. “Lakuria?” a voice called to her. “Who’s there!? Lakuri called to the voice… it seemed familiar. “Has it really been so long that you no longer remember my voice?” it asked her. “I guess…” Lakuri answered disappointedly. “It’s alright. I can only blame myself. But Lakuria, I have something I want to tell you.” “Who are you?” The voice seemed to chuckle. ” Please, I don’t have much time.” it paused, as parts of the scenery started to fade away, back to the previous black. “Lakuria. I wanted you to know that you are doing very well…. And I’m very proud of you. You probably don’t think it. But you are important to me…. And are old enough to understand, I’m sorry for what I did to you…. And I hope, at some point we will meet again. I can speak to you for longer periods at a time as you’re magic get stronger but please… just keep up the good work, and remember, You’re mother is very proud of you. You’ve proven to be a very strong girl that can handle my legacy of magic. By the end, everything was black again. But there was one more thing instore. “Now wake up Lakuria. I believe there’s someone worried about you.” At this same time a faint image of a women with long blond hair, bright green eyes and that was dressed in a white long dress appeared, and waved goodbye to her just before Lakuri’s eyes opened in the real world.
“Wait! Don’t go!” Lakuri pleaded as her own awake self, but it was to late. She already knew where she was. In Kyriu’s arms, and he was watching her.
For once though… that didn’t make her smile.
Lakuri looked up at Kyriu for a moment, but instead of saying anything, Lakuri only sat up a small bit to allow herself to wrap her arms tightly around Kyriu, as she started to cry into him.
“ I’m sorry Kyrii. Please don’t worry. I’m fine.” Lakuri managed to say to him. She wanted to make sure he knew she wasn’t crying because she was hurt. She was because… She had so many questions… it just didn’t seem fair.
Once Lakuri was starting to breath easier, she moved her face away from where she was hiding it and looked up at Kyriu, with a slight smile to hopefully assure him. “So did you end up beating all the heartless for me?” She asked and moved up to lightly kiss him. “my handsome, brave prince” She added and smiled playfully up at him.
It took quite a while for Kuri to wake up after her fall, but somehow this didn't bother Kyriu that much. It gave him sometime to think about a few things, but mostly about his life right now. Now that he had time to reflect....he really had come a long way. At first he was nothing but a scared boy in a strange world, but after meeting Kuri...he gradually started getting better.
He had someone to look after now, and he felt a lot older than he actually was...which was a good thing...however....he hadn't been very fair to Kuri, or himself for that matter. He kept trying to keep Kuri close to him...because he wanted to protect her.....but what if keeping her close was what was putting her in danger?
Kyriu couldn't see the future...so what if something happened to him? What would happen to Kuri?...this thought never crossed Kyriu's mind at all....and that seemed very selfish of him.
There was no guarantee that he would be fine throughout the years, and Kuri couldn't just stick with him all the time. There was a whole world full of different people to meet, it wasn't fair to keep Kuri chained to only one part of it.
They both needed something that he forgot about.....something so simple.
Just then Kuri seemed to wake from her long nap.
After she spoke he took one look at her and knew just what she went trough.
'' Well naturally.'' he paused and looked at the sky before speaking.
'' You know it's ok to miss them...everyone needs their parents....so don't worry..you'll see them again.....'' Kyriu said. He wasn't sure if Kuri would understand what he was talking about...but that wasn't really important.
After a while he looked back at Kuri and for reason took a deep breath...and by doing so..he felt better.
'' So just get better ok princess?'' he added then held Kuri closer

Ok, how the heck does Kyriu read peoples minds!? it dosn't make sense at all! Lakuri thought apon hearing him attempt to comfort her. Thing was though.... thats not what was. Lakuri didn't miss her parents. She had no idea who they where so how could she miss them? It was the fact that this was like.. the gateway to information to them that made her upset.... but for all she knew... all it was was a dream. Maybe she was a little to curious and her mind just decided that it would just creat all of this for her.... but that just didn't seem right; it felt to real.
"I dunno what your talking about kyrii, you silly boy." she said and laid her head back down where it had been previously. Even though she had spent all of this time unconcious, her head and arms still hurt pretty badly, and she didn't want to move around much. She also didn't really want Kyriu to know exactly what as up with her dream just yet... cause she wanted to figure it out for heself. which is why she had lied.
She was however surprised to hear he beat the heartless. "You ok sweetheart? I know beating the heartless must have been very hard on you." she said smiled at him. Hopefully he wasn't to hurt...
"In any case... It may be best to go home... I know you don't want to be here, and my head and arms hurt a lot. I don't think I could move around very freely." she said disapointedly and closed her eyes. She really did want to explore the area. but she couldn't while she didn't really want to move. Oh well, another day.
Lakuri lightly rubbed her head agianst Kyriu's chest "I love you so much Kyriu... what would I do without you?" she asked and smiled.
Kuri was just being silly again. Maybe she that fall hurt her more than Kyriu thought, but still it was a chance to get out of this place. Not that he was happy that Kuri had to get injured to do it...that was horrible...but he really wanted to leave this area...because Kuri was already hurt and needed some time to rest herself.
Now the question was if they could get out of here easily..since the heartless have been especially grumpy today. Perhaps it would be best if he hurried out of the district with Kuri, it wasn't looking too friendly.
The student gently picked up Kuri and started walking towards the exit.
''' You'd probably wouldn't be hurt right now. '' was all he said.

Well thats not what she had expected of that question.... She anted it to be nice. Not make him go all down on himself. Time to snap back with a comeback.
"You're right Kyriu." She said and opened her eyes agian to look up at him. She didn't understand Why he was so hard on himself all of the time. He was such an amazing person... but all he did as just put himself down and insult himself... never anything positive.
"If you weren't here I wouldn't be hurt." she continued, but paused agian. "I'd be dead Kyriu. You saved my life agian." Lakuri smiled up at him happily "Thank you. If it wasn't for you I'd be a heartless." she said and gave him a little bit of a squeeze, but it hurt her arms.
"No one can escape from pain forever Kyrii... Just remember that. Even a healer like me can be hurt. that dosn't make it your fault. It makes my judgement bad... I should have listened to you." Lakuri sighed.
Hopefully this would make him feel better. Cause Kuri really hated Kyriu being so down... which he was so much lately. what she do to get a genuine smile out of him agian...
Kyriu didn't mean to make Kuri mad. And what she said made sense, but if he wasn't so ill none of this would have happened. It just didn't seem fair...he didn't mind if he was injured..but why Kuri? She was too important he didn't want anything to happen to her.
The student stopped walking and sat on a bench which was close to the exist of the first district. He laid Kuri on his lap and held her before he spoke.
'' Listen.....your the best thing thats ever happened to me....and I love you so much...more than anything. I'd do anything to be with you, but....'' he paused
'' I'm your boyfriend Kuri...it's my job to protect you no matter what. And if i do put myself..down it's because...I can't bear to see you hurt Kuri. There's nothing worse than that for me...I love you so much....please just be more careful ok please?'' Kyriu said then hugged her.
He didn't plan on letting her go till he got an answer
Post by Kuri, Queen of Feels on Jul 12, 2011 19:46:12 GMT -4
Lakuri giggled a little bit of hearing what Kyriu said. "You know, your are the most difficult person in the world to be mad at?" She said ith a smile.
Since they where sitting agian, Lakuri tried to sit up. She didn't really like not haveing a say in what was going on. it hurt her arms to have to do this, but it as truly driveing her crazy.
Lakuri moved herself to sit up on Kyriu's lap and look into his eyes. "Even if I'm hurt, I just can't seem to stay away from you." she said playfully and gave him a kiss. " And agian.. I really am thankful to you for saveing me again... I don't know how I ccould ever replay you, my hero!" she said and giggled a little more. hopefully this would make him happy.
Kyrriu decided that being mad wouldn't be much help to him. And at least Kuri got the picture. That was a good sign, and she seemed to be acting like herself again. He really wanted nothing more than to be with her....and hopefully nothing would separate them.
'' You can thank me by keeping out of trouble angel...after all...It would be a lot nicer if we could explore without getting hurt'' he said then kissed her.

Lakuri sighed. She really did love Kyriu. even if latley, he as getting worse adn not listening, dn pretty much all of the bad things that they had both been yelling at eachother about latly. Through all of the hatefulness... she was still in love with the boy.
"I woulda been fine if I would have known the fat thing was just just going to charge at me. I coulda dodged it! But I didn't kno what it was!" Lakuri pleaded to Kyriu. "I as doing so good too! I as protecting you all on my own!" she said a little sadly "But I'll try to be more carfeul, I promise Kyrii." She said happily and tried her best to place one of her arms around him. "I'm sorry for everything that happened today Kyii... I really am." She said and pressed her forehead on his "From now on... can we be happy agian?" Lakuri titlted her head slightly and gave Kyriu a longer kiss. "I really miss seeing you acctually smile..."
Kyriu didn't respond immediately when Kuri said she missed seeing him smile. He just had a lot on his mind these days, and a few worries. This time if he was going to think, he should see it from Kuri's point of view. He wasn't as happy as he usually was...or more accurately as he used to be. This lack of happiness was rapidly depressing Kuri, and that wasn't what Kyriu wanted.
He needed to find out just what it was that had been bugging him for ages. Maybe it was the weather? No that was just silly...traverse town barely had a breeze. It wasn't the fact that he was sick either....so what was it? That kept bugging him all this time?
'' I'm sorry......I'm sorry that I haven't been happy lately...or very smart..or considerate. But....I guess it's because I've been afraid. I'm afraid to live happily...and not worry about all the possible dangers around here. One of my closeted friends here...is still in a coma....and i'm the only one that wants to keep her alive...the doctors have given up. Every time I tried to live happily....and pretend like there's no such thing a horrible monsters and evil people....someone I lose someone important to me. '' he paused to take a breath.
'' I haven't been happy because I'm afraid that i might forget again....and I don't want to lose anyone else. I want to be happy again.....i'm just.....afraid.'' he said.
Telling her all this would most likely make her mad. Kuri would get all pouty...and tell that she wouldn't talk to him unless he stopped being sad. And he understood why.....he just wanted to know that there was something would keep Kuri safe.
Each time someone he cared about was hurt....it had to do...with Heartless...and dark magic. He wasn't strong enough...thats the problem....he can't protect anyone if he stays like some...feeble..human...who has nothing but a stupid sword that barely works!!!.
