In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Huff...huff...I shouldn't have waited until the last minute! Her Majesty is going to be irritated, I'm sure of it!
With deep breaths, Tidus stood ebfore the door to the throne room, his sword held at his side loosely. He had run all the way from town to here, since he forgot about the letter of summons he had recieved the night before. A Blitzball was on the ground enxt to him, the only evidence that he had been swimming all of an hour ago. Luckily, he was dry, and looked decent enough to meet the Queen. However, he had forgotten his armor in his lateness, and was still mentally beating himself up about that.
But, he had to do what he had to do. So, he placed his longsword over his shoulder and opened the small door in front of him, walking until he was just before the throne.
"Your Majesty, you asked for me?" he said with a bow on one knee, sword held at his side.

"Oooh you're finally here." The Queen had gotten up from her throne and somewhat ran to Tidus with her poofy dress and heeled shoes. Her arms wrapped around him in a hug to see that he's in one piece. No it wasn't like she had expected the worse, but it was always a warm fluffy feeling to see that someone is fine. After all it's been a while, since he's been in the castle.
"Wow look at you...you've gotten taller...and tanner. It seems like the islands are just fine hm?," Minnie asked a rhetorical question, because the rest would fill it in, "So how have you been? I hope nothing unwanted and unfortunate came your way."
Tidus certianly didn't expect the hug, but he returned it anyway, his sword now on the ground next to him. "Everything was fine on the islands, but I left right away once I recieved your letter." As he broke the hug, he smiled and asked, "How have you been, Your Majesty? I take it that things aren't going too smoothly? And has His Majesty returned?"
As he stood, he picked up his longsword and rested it on his shoulder, looking at the Queen. "And I guess teh right question to ask is how may I be of assistance?"

"Not as smoothly as I would've hoped," Minnie started, "I had to leave the castle with everyone at one point because heartless and nobodies flooded the world. Our main defense is gone, and even since then I haven't heard a word or saw the king."
She waved for Tidus to follow her to the library. She didn't have to be over-exceedingly formal with Tidus due to their history, "You remember the Cornerstone? Well it's gone, so the world is potentially worse than before when Maleficient was here. Also I don't trust fate to be too kind. Worlds have fell before, and this one can easily be next."
She opened the door long enough for Tidus to hold it open for himself to come in. "There was a knight here, while you were gone, Sir Lucas. I sent him to Traverse Town to relay my message of aid. He was successful, since I was visited by the Guardian's Mikhail and Jack."
She sat down with a poof of her dress that flaired around her before drifting down," Although we're starting an alliance, not much is done to efficiently protect the worlds from any attacks, which may seem and sound inevitable. I know Sora, Riku, and Kairi are probably busy handling the source, but preparing the worlds would be a priority for the rest."
Although many advocated to fight against the uprising Heartless and Nobodies, only a keyblade can truly stop it all, so many would have to switch gears to prevent from fighting a never ending battle. "The worlds need light Tidus. Light had protected this castle for years, and without it, it's vulnerable. The same is with the rest of the world. Without light, it is vulnerable. Of-course as long as there's light, there will always be chance, but I perfer not to risk lives and worlds to have the situation rely on the last strand of hope. No one deserves that."
As the Queen told him the Cornerstoen was gone, his eyes grew wide. The only reason that the Cornerstone would be taken would be to overthrow the headstone of light, but who could have done it? He looked at his longsword, momentarily wishing it was a Keyblade, then nodded. "So, my guess is you want me to go look for the Cornerstone? Or would you rather that I prepare the worlds to fight the Heartless?" Looking the Queen in her eye, he smiled and said, "Y'know, I could stay here and protect you, if the need arised. I am your knight after all, your Majesty."
However, the thought of being cooped up in the castle didn't work very well with him, and the outside would be too dangerous for him to Blitz. So, with his trademark smile, he said, "Your wish is my command, Your Majesty."
The conversation between Queen Minnie and the young Tidus became disturbed as the door of the library opened up. Through the door hole one of the magic broomsticks appeared. Marching upright as it cleared the entrance and then went to stand on the side to allow the following person pass. It had merely escorted a guest who sought out the Queen and guided him toward her.
Behind the broomstick, the tall, ironclad appearance of Sir Lucas appeared. His full body plate armor clanged softly with every step. The helmet shaped like a wolf's head was held beneath his arm. As the pale face framed with black dangling locks and woodbrown eyes made contact with Queen Minnie and a young boy who the Wolf Knight had not seen before. For a short moment he squinted his eyes a bit. As the appearance of Tidus was unusual. Him being a human to means he could not be from this anthropomorphic world. Not only that, he was also armed with a long sword. The same weapon he wielded as well.
The silvery knight dropped down onto one knee and bowed his head toward Queen Minnie. He remembered that the Queen was quite unconventional in the normal way's of etiquette and protocol but it was difficult for Sir Lucas to step out of his drilled routines and actions he had uphold for his entire life. So he awaited to be addressed, not speaking until spoken to. As proper manners dictate when facing superior ranking nobility.

"Either way Tidus, light is light, and I have no idea where the Cornerstone is at to even guide you with such quest. The one who may know the location isn't here. With that said, I would rather perfer you to do the doable, and if any trouble is brewing I can easily have Chip and Dale contact you via radio on your gummiship-", her round ears turned and twitched hearing the door squeak opened, "Oh?"
She leaned over to see a broom walk through the door followed in by someone. Her eyes brightened with a smile to see Sir Lucas, who gave his traditional greeting to her, "You do have a sense of timing Sir Lucas I was just talking about you to this young man. Sir Lucas this is Tidus; Tidus, Sir Lucas. Come come, sit sit. We were just talking about the worlds."
It was unavoidable hot topic, "I was just telling Tidus to focus on finding any source of light to help protect the worlds. Fighting the heartless can be a never-ending battle, generally light and the keyblade can put them off successfully. With those odds, being defensive can be our best bet."
The worse one can do to a heartless was injure it only for it to return later. Light and the keyblade can rid them for good, well that individual heartless that is. As long as darkness exist, there can always be heartless. It seemed that fate was for the worlds to bear.
Tidus looked to the knight to his left and smiled, saying "it's a pleasure to meet a fellow knight, Sir Lucas." Then, looking to the Queen, he said, "I may have an idea on what I should do, but I need your approval, Your Majesty."
"My idea is to go out and finds as many Keybladers that I can, since they're the only real way to defeat the Heartless. I know you said Riku, Kairi and Sora are wielders, but I get a feeling there will be more then the three. If we can assemble them all here, maybe the way to the Cornerstone will be pointed out, since they wield the light. It would stop Heartless from entering the castle, and protect the world. After that, I'll think of something else."
After being addressed by Queen Minnie, Sir Lucas righted himself and stepped closer to join the conversation. He glanced over at the young boy called Tidus. His woodbrown eyes narrowed a bit in suspicion as the child called himself a knight. Finding him a bit young and short to be calling himself a proper knight. On his world the rank of Esquire would be the highest possible achievement for one such as him. It must be youthful ambition and imagination that drove this seemingly high spirited kid who still carried the air of innocence about him.
Carefully he listened to the proposal of the young Tidus as the mentioning of keyblade wielders came up in the topic. And then responded himself to it: "Your Highness, young master Tidus. I beg pardon for interrupting but I bring hopeful tidings and news. One also be about the keyblade wielder known as Sora..."
The Wolf Knight paused as he checked the reactions of them both. He was certain they would like to hear what he had learned about the legendary keyblade wielder. With a nod his deep and slightly hoarse voice started to state his report.
"At first I had been brought by masters Chip & Dale to the place called Traverse Town. There I have stumbled in the midsts of a massive Heartless incursion that threatened the very town. But in the heat of battle I have encountered a knight that goes by the name of Mikhail Rutherford. A strong, powerful fighter with noble intent. This Mikhail has gathered a group of individuals all bend on calling a halt to the Heartless and protecting the worlds. The Guardians of the worlds.
It has also been through Mikhail that I learned about the current whereabouts of Sora. Sora is currently traveling with a group of explorers that is underway to the world called Atlantis. Mikhail and several others of the guardians are also accompanying him. He has given me his word that upon their return he will arrange a direct meeting with the keyblade wielder.
The Guardians also seek to form a strong alliance with your kingdom. Your Majesty only has to call out and the fighters will rush to your side in defending your home. They seek no reward or fame for these feats. Only to have an ally in the ongoing battle against the Heartless blight, your royal Highness."

"Oh it sounds like Sora had left the islands too," Minnie spoke more to Tidus, since he practically grew up with him. "Also Mikhail and Jack had an audience with me some nights ago, and with Sora up and moving...these are hopeful tidings."
Minnie have no idea what Atlantis was. That world sounded completely new and foreign, but her wonder laid at peace knowing Sora was on that expedition. Although he didn't have Goofy and Donald by his side, the wielder wouldn't be alone.
"So that one out of," Minnie began counting her head of the known keyblade wielders she knew of such as: Mickey, Sora, Riku, and Kairi," five wielders finally active. Oh Tidus you haven't meantioned Riku and Kairi. I take it they aren't on the islands anymore. Perhaps it would be easily tracking down wielders we know of. If there are more....certainly someone would know of them, the heartless are very attracted to such strong hearts. So wherever they are heartless are sure to follow. Hopefully they haven't crossed paths with the bigger problems."
It wouldn't be surprising if both groups were hunting for wielders to collect their hearts to have control over. Now she looked up to Sir Lucas curiously, "Will you be joining up with the Guardians at Atlantis?"
"Well, I guess I should be getting to work." Tidus grabbed his longsword and placed it on the sheath on his back, then stretched before making a second bow to Queen Minnie and gave a friendly nod to Sir Lucas. "If you would, your Majesty, could you have Chip and Dale prepare my Gummi Ship?"
Then, with a final bow, he started to walk out of the throne room.
((Sorry he's so impatient. Tidus wants to get out to plotting. *shoves him in his box*))
In silence Sir Lucas watched the young boy leave the library. Then he turned to Queen Minnie as he answered her. His tone hinted with a touch of discomfort and helplessness: "I shall not your Majesty. They are sailing the unknown space between worlds as we speak. Searching for their destination. I did not believe my presence would have been of much contribution to the group of explorers."
Sir Lucas did feel a light sense of depression as he remembered how little difference he could make in a hectic battle against the Heartless. His skill with the sword was sufficiënt on his homeworld to protect the castle and the barony. But on these strange worlds amongst others with magical and technological powers surpassing him. The experienced fighter realized how little his adaptability and flexibility really was. Heartless come in all shapes and sizes, possessing abilities and powers that boggled the mind. As he could only stand his ground and strike them down with his blade.
This reminiscing caused the Wolf Knight to lose his attention on the library and Queen Minnie. The small woodbrown eyes turned glassy as he stared into nothing for a moment. A dark shadow of aching despair clinging over him.

(*punts the box to go and play in SPAAACE...with the worlds* pip pip cheerioooo)
"Will do," Minnie replied as he bid the knight a farewell. With a flutter of her fingers a ball of light formed as it zoomed off to the courtyard to the gummi garrage to alert the twins.
Her ears perked and curled hearing Sir Lucas' statement. Naturally her optimism kicked in high gear to erase the gloom, "Oooh that's not true; there's always more power in numbers, especially with light and friendship pushing towards a common goal. As long as there's light, there's always a fighting chance, so your presence is much needed, Sir Lucas. Your presence did a lot for little ole Disney Castle."
He had assisted her during their descent in the chamber of the cornerstone where they were ambushed by heartless, and he had connected her to the guardians who are now linked with Sora. Surely his value was higher than he interpretated to be.
The Queen's kind words of comfort did bring the knight's attention back to the real world. But helped little in lifting his spirit. With a sigh he even abandoned the proper etiquette, knowing it would not insult the rodent Queen as he spoke with a soft depressing voice: "I do not feel as if I have much light inside myself. From birth I have received training, but only in sword fighting, chivalry and protocol. None of my teachers knew about the magic that I see so abundantly displayed by mere children on other worlds. I have worshiped the Lunar Goddess all my life. Our light in the dark. And yet I understand nothing of light. I must first learn all these things before I can continue on."

"Hmm," the Mouse hummed hearing the predicament; it seemed like he didn't feel up to date or up to par with his companions. His doubt however seemed strong enough to make him blind to not see the inner light he had. An idea made a twinkle in her eyes, and her round ears perked up, "Well you have came to the right place, because I think I can help."
Minnie bounced up, "Although I can be a teacher, everything comes down to one thing, you. As long as you keep faith, you can always access your light. Hmm!"
She looked around muttering to herself, "this may not be the best plaace. Let's go out to the gardens shall we? Some fresh air and open space would do."
The Mouse walked to the door and held it open waiting for him to follow suit.
