In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Rose backflip as Halen slashed where she had been standing. Landing on her feet, she charged the Heartless, swinging her hammer, but Halen grabbed ahold of it, and flipped her over his shoulder. She rolled across the ground, then to the side as he shot a fireball at her. It hit the wall behind her as she got to her feet again, and charged him once more. She swung, but he brought up a claw, and a sword appeared in it, and he was able to block. He made a fist with his other hand, and tried to punch her, but she stepped back, panting, and said, "Time out." She bent over, her hands on her knees, breathing heavily. Halen stood easily, staring at her with a cocky tilt to his head. They had been training for an hour and a half now, and while she was exhausted, he was fine. He keened repeatedly, his way of chuckling. Rose sat down, and he walked behind her, and sat too, so they were back to back. "Man, you just don't get tired. It's like fighting a Super Mute, but faster and stronger..."

Vapor decided that today, he was going to go astray from his usual searching spot for something to entertain him, the marketplace, and instead headed to the Bailey. "I hope a change of place means a change of luck." He thought as he made his way there, "Probably won't, but it's worth a shot."
As he approached the Bailey, he heard noises that sounded like fighting, this made the last few steps to the Bailey slightly rushed, in order to see what all the commotion was. "This better be something good.." He rounded a corner and saw a girl and an unusual Neoshadow fighting each other. He was thinking of joining in but at that moment, the two sat down back to back. Vapor, not really wanting to converse with the two, he instead leant against a wall and watched, waiting to see if they began to fight again.
Rose, heart near. Rose's head snapped up. Sure enough, there was someone on the walkway above, looking at then. Rose stood, still panting, her red hair plastered to her head by sweat. It was a good look for her, but she didn't know, nor would she have cared. "Who are you?" she demanded of the newcomer. Why was it that whenever she wanted to be alone, people showed up out of nowhere?
Halen stood behind her, his light lines shifting across his body in a dizzying array. He reached out mentally, and touched the new guys heart. It was filled with light, and a little bit wet. He good. Use water. Oh. Okay.

Vapor watched as the girl's head snapped up to face him. She stood and demanded his name, "Vapor." He answered, calmly, "You?" He leant forward over the edge of the walkway and looked at the two, he couldn't help but notice the white lines on the Neoshadow darting around all over the place. "Odd. Never seen a Neoshadow like that." He thought to himself as he continued examining them. Unsure about whether or not jumping down was a good idea, he kept his distance by staying up on the walkway, until he was certain there was no harm in it.
((I warned you, Xahnel XDD he's a Neoshadow, after all))
Suddenly a pool of blue gathered under Halen. It was a claymore, part of Radiant Garden's defenses against Heartless and Nobodies alike. After a few seconds the data sphere would launch itself upward, seeking to hit the Heartless. The claymores had been certainly reinforced in their last power-up update, now being able to deal a lot more damage than the years before.
If the nuisance wasn't destroyed and taken care of soon, the system would proceed to alert one of the Restoration Commitee's members...
(no match for a 100 year old Neoshadow. Bring on the Restoration Commitee. It's about time Rose met someone in that group.)
Halen glanced down at the ground. There was... what was that? He backflipped away, latching onto the wall with one hand, bracing against it with his feet. The Claymore appeared, but with it's target out of reach, it could do nothing more than sink back into the ground. However, it sent out a warning call to the main computer.
Rose ignored the little orb attack. Halen could handle himself, and she wasn't worried. She continued to stare at the new guy, Vapor. "I'm Rose. Why are you here?"

Vapor saw a Claymore appear under the Neoshadow, he expected as much, seeing as the town's defense system is designed to target any and all Heartless and Nobodies. The Heartless backflipped away and clung onto a wall to avoid it. "It's lucky he noticed that in time.."
He turned his attention back to the girl, she said her name is Rose then asked why he was there, which was understandable. "Something to do." Vapor replied.
Something to do, huh? Well, she could give him something to do. "Seeing as someone has noticed Halen, and is attacking him, he is no longer useful for training. How about a little fight?" she asked with her patented evil grin. She flipped her hammer into the air, then caught it. "Come on, I won't hurt you. At least, not much."
Halen continued to hang from the wall, unconcerned. It wasn't as if his body could tire out. Technically speaking he didn't have a body, just a certain amount of darkness that followed his commands.

A fight, Vapor couldn't decline. He wanted something to do, and Rose just gave him the perfect thing to do. "Sure." He jumped down from the walkway and landed a few feet from Rose. She had an evil looking grin on her face as she threw a hammer into the air and caught it. Vapor pulled out his two daggers and stood ready to fight, not phased by her comment and said "Let's go." He waited for his opponent to make the first move.
Rosecrouched low, then jumped up, pushing off the ground with her feet and her hammer. Halen had been training her in more than combat. She was able to get up seven feet, and as she began to fall, she swung her hammer down, aiming to hit Vapor with the handle, not the head.
Vapor watched as Rose jumped unusually high into the air towards him. He jumped swiftly away a safe distance to the side and started running towards where she was about to land, hoping to land a strike whilst she recovered from landing.
Leon had been sitting in Merlin's house, waiting for alerts from any of the security systems. He sat slouched in a chair, with his head leaning back, staring at the ceiling. He sighed. "Not much heartless activity around here anymore . . ." he muttered. Then, as if the universe wanted to prove him wrong, the claymore alert started going off. He checked it and the target hadn't been eliminated and it had been a few minutes. He grabbed his Revolver gunblade and, double-checking the location, ran off to the site. He dodged through townspeople going about their daily business as he moved toward his destination.
As he approached, he looked at what he was walking into. There were a couple of teenagers having a fight. He wasn't concerned until he noticed that one of them was using daggers. He then thought back to the Dark XII. Some among their ranks still held the looks they had when they were younger and, until he found the reason for the alert, he couldn't rule out anything. Then, once he got close enough to examine the area more closely, he noticed the Neoshadow hanging on a wall. He pulled out his gunblade and looked to the kids while keeping an eye on the heartless. He sighed when he noticed why the claymore wasn't doing anything. It simply couldn't reach the Neoshadow. He'd have to talk to Cid about that later. "Hey, kids, you might want to watch it. There's a heartless over there. It shouldn't be a problem, though." he said, slinging his gunblade over his shoulder out of habit. He then brought it to his side and started running toward the heartless. He jumped up just as he reached the wall and swung down at the heartless.
Halen shook his in annoyance, and sank into the wall. He climbed a little higher, and stuck his head and hands back out. Putting his hands to the sides of his head, he proceeded to make a very creditable "nananananana" motion. Then he sank back in before Leon could do more then stare.
Rose rolled to the side as she landed, and, calling, "Time out!", she dropped her hammer, drew her shotgun, and pointed it at the newest new guy. She pumped it once to get his attention, and leveled it at his head. "You got a problem with him, buddy? If not, I would suggest leaving him alone. He isn't bothering anyone."

He heard a newcomer telling Rose and himself to watch out for the Heartless. Vapor skidded to a halt when he heard Rose said "Time out!" He then watched her pull out her shotgun and aim it at a newcomer's head. "That's a bit much. He was only looking out for us.." He though about saying this, but instead said "And you are?" whilst looking at the newcomer. He took a quick glance at the Neoshadow and saw that it had sunk into the wall, to more than likely avoid being hit, then turned back to the newcomer and awaited his answer.
Leon was irritated when the heartless sank back into the wall and, although that would have been annoying enough, it popped back out a little higher and was obviously mocking him. At first, it simply annoyed him, but, then, he realized that most heartless wouldn't do that. They just weren't intelligent enough. Then, one of the kids he had been trying to protect aimed a shotgun at him and started yelling about him attacking the heartless.
"My problem is that he's a heartless. Do I need any reason beyond that? Heartless are instinct-driven, heart-devouring creatures. I've never met a good heartless and don't think I ever will." He responded, keeping an eye on Halen. "Why do you care, anyway?" he asked, his thoughts completely occupied by the shotgun and the heartless. He didn't even notice the boy's question.
