In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"A sword?" Setzer repeated, bemused. For what reason would the young Queen have what sounded like a powerful weapon in her airship? The question woke other unbidden thoughts, such as a morbid curiosity on events in Ashe's life, things that she had not touched on; the thoughts were quickly followed by contemplations of his past and what dreadful things a sword had wrought in it. He still remembered almost naught.
He said not another word, however, and followed the woman around to where he assumed an entrance to the vessel would be. Before they even got there he realized the attempt was futile. There was little chance Heartless or other threats had not already stolen the Sword of Kings, if it had been in the ship in the first place.
He felt a small pang of disappointment in his chest. For one beautiful moment, Setzer had believed he was going to fly. That moment seemed to be drifting ever further away, and he couldn't understand why that irked him.
"Come then, Ashe," he said when, sure enough, the search for a blade yielded nothing. He didn't notice his lack of honorifics with her name. "Perhaps some people in the Garden can assist us. We've found the Anima - it can't be too difficult to get it back in the air."

"Nonsense, Setzer, do you think I came to this world unprepared?"
As she passed through the ajar entrance of the Anima, she went towards the cockpit, to where her seat was, flipping up a secret command panel on the arm. With a few keystrokes, her chair slid forward, and a compartment opened, revealing what her search ahd brought her here for.
// Obtained Healing Rod, Onion Bombs x45, Flintlock and x200 bullets, Sword of Kings
As she drew the blade and her other weapons from the hidden compartment, she ran a hand along the flat of the blade, staring at it for a second before standing.
"This may take a while, so if you would, could you stand guard? I would be much obliged."

Setzer nodded, impressed by the compartment hidden enough to prove even a Heartless invasion futile and keep her possessions safe. Had the Blackjack had a space similar? What objects did he hold of importance and value to him back then - what would he have put there?
He moved to stand guard as requested. Setzer stood with his back to the cliff, so as to keep an eye out for oncoming threats, but turned slightly to watch what Ashe was doing. His hope was rekindled, however briefly, though tempered by the lingering doubt that the sword could do much to help the predicament.
As Ashe entered the engine room of her airship, she held the Sword of Kings and placed it on a table next to the nethicite reactor, attaching a couple wires to each end. The sword gave a faint glow, absorbing what little residual nethicite power the engines had in them. With a relieved sigh, she let it sit for a minute, allowing the sword to amplify the energy. It wouldn't last long, but it would work.
For once, she actually wished she still had the Dawn Shard, to power the sword fully. But, shaking it off, she went to the cockpit and hovered a hand over the ignition, ready to start it once the charge was over 10%
