In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I wasnt sure where to put this thread but I was wondering which peice of music did you like in Kingdom Hearts (any game). I mean we all talk about the story and stuff but i havent seen one thread about the brilliant orchestrated music within the game.
My personal favourite is Dark Impetus - KH BBS. It has the amazing battle rock theme like any other song yet it is still elegant with the violin bursting through it. Truly an amazing peice.
The Other Promise -Dramatica-, not only on account of being a brilliant piece, but one of the most beautiful I have heard in my entire life, to boot.
I'm also a big fan of Vector to the Heavens and Unbreakable Chains because the songs are amazing in themselves. They aren't only great pieces, but each one includes the character themes of the characters tied to the one the song is played when fighting against. Vector to the Heavens includes parts to Kairi, Xion and Namine's themes; Unbreakable Chains uses entire sections of Roxas, Ventus, and Sora's character themes.

I am a big fan of Vector to the Heavens because if you listened to it on its own, you wouldn't associate it with a final boss battle theme which makes the battle that much better. Unbreakable Chains is good too because at first its sounds steampunky and you wouldn't really be able to associate it with Kingdom Hearts until the main beat kicks in.
The Other Promise, the version you sent, is good but its not the origonal soundtrack and that is the reason I made this thread. But it doesn't mean I wouldn't listen to the Dramatica version.
The encounter- absolutly love this boss theme whenever I heard it i knew some real deep stuff was about to happen and it also gets me hyped very well to battle Disney bosses
Dirge of the Fourteenth- a fitting song for xion. It sets the mood just right you play through the whole game working with xion but now you have to fight her and you can feel the sadness of that in this song.

I agree. But the official title of the song is Vector to the Heavens. Which is an awesome title. But Dirge of the Fourteenth is a better name for a fight with Xion.
