In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Hero clasped his fingers together and smiled happily. He knew he was a good person after all.
Saxen looked like such a confused and innocent guy now, it actually made him look kinda cute. Hero ambled up to where the both of them were. Beaming, Hero tilted to one side and grinned at Saxen,

"Y-you will? Thank you! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" As he helped her back onto her feet, she knew she wanted to hug him deep down, but with an awkward glance at Hero, decided against it. Helena beamed up at Saxen, content that he complied, and looked to Hero again. She didn't mean to make anything awkward... it just... kinda ended up that way. It was then that the tsundere realized that she was still holding onto Saxen's hand. Surprised, the girl collected them back up and laughed forcibly, knowing that she probably screwed up.
Bravo, Helena. Here you are telling me that you and Saxen are just friends, and then--[/color]
"Shut up!"
A hand clapsed over her mouth in surprise. She had told her father to shut up. Aloud. Where everyone could here her. Shocked, Helena scrambled to find a way to make up for her mistake. The girl didn't consider herself a bad liar... In all honesty, lying was incredibly easy for her.
"Right, sorry. I just can't believe how loud some people can be." Awkwardly, she turned to a fairly loud group of preteen girls talking about sparkly men or something and called out, "Shut up!" A forced laugh escaped her lips. She would speak nothing of this incident again.
He stood there with his eyes slightly widened, staring at her. She was smiling brightly at him, bringing on more painful memories. He didn't consciously realize she was holding his hand until she pulled hers away. She laughed awkwardly, and, as he was about to stand there and say and do nothing. . .
"Shut up!"
That was odd. . . very much so. Then, she tried to cover it up. And did a pretty pathetic job at it, too. He decided to let it go with nothing more than a simple "Uh...?" Extremely articulate. Definitely. He wanted to mentally smack himself for that one. He couldn't have come up with ANYTHING better? Apparently not. "Now, weren't we going to get drinks?" His voice was still void of life and he sounded rather bored.

"Drinks? Ahahaha..." Helena could hardly hide the blush reddening her cheeks. Honestly, that was the LAST thing she wanted to do after embarrassing herself like that. Regardless, she tagged along anyway, keeping mostly to herself as she did. From time to time, rust-like eyes gazed over at Hero, only to look away when his eyes came to meet her gaze. She peered over at Saxen every so often as well; Helena had a feeling that he had noticed her strange outburst and didn't believe her clever fabrication.
Honestly, who would? That was just about the most childish and idiotic lie ever...
Sh-shut up!
Aww, gonna cry?[/i] A strange laugh, sick and twisted with dark intentions, reverberated in her head. It sounded vaguely like her father's laugh, but she didn't quite remember. Helena's father hardly ever laughed, and when he did, he only chuckled. Don't worry, "Elly." Daddy's here.
The tsundere ejected herself from the two at once, paler than usual, as if she had just seen a ghost. She blinked several times in rapid succession, hovering in between the decision to stay or go, but the girl knew that she wasn't going to be able to find an easy way out of this one. Helena shivered slightly as her darkness laughed again, amused by her shock, and it was then that she realized she couldn't stay a moment longer. Turning on her heel, Helena muttered a quick, "I need to report back to the captain" before leaving the two in a speedy walk, her head low and her determination evident.
Her drink still sat on the counter, untouched.
