In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Ah, the independent type. Well, lemme lay down a few ground rules. My turf is the waterway behind the hotel, and the entire area behind the stone door with the flame symbol. First district, through that door," she said, pointing, "and the hotel are neutral ground. Everywhere else is free reign. Oh, and just a warning, if you hurt a young boy with cat ears, I will skin you alive. Then, I'll amputate your heart. Same applies to a teenage boy with extremely spiky red hair. Other than that, you have fun. Now, I am extremely hungry. Care to join me for lunch?" she asked with a friendly smile, to show that, while the threats were serious, they were also not personal, and that she would be fine being on friendly terms with Alicia.
"Ah, the independent type. Well, lemme lay down a few ground rules. My turf is the waterway behind the hotel.. Waterway. O-kay..
"....and the entire area behind the stone door with the flame symbol. First district, through that door," she said, pointing, "and the hotel are neutral ground. Everywhere else is free reign." There's a door with a flame symbol?
"Oh, and just a warning, if you hurt a young boy with cat ears, I will skin you alive. Then, I'll amputate your heart. Same applies to a teenage boy with extremely spiky red hair. Other than that, you have fun." Ahahahahaha! Alicia loved this girl. So, steer clear of all catty boys and redheads..
"Now, I am extremely hungry. Care to join me for lunch?" No, really, she loved this girl. Not many people could add a simple, normal-sounding invitation to the end of a lovely threat. Well, not many capable people. Tea and crumpets, and a little of your forehead, dear?
"Oh yes, if you know a decent place to eat...and have enough money to spare." she said the last part a little shamefully - she didn't have anything that she could probably spend here. "Does this place happen to have a moneychanger?" she asked with a slight smirk.
"Nope, these people don't take dollars for shit. And they won't exchange 'em either. But I eat free at the cafe, because I did 'em a favor, and they owe me big." Xaoc used the last of Chaos Punishment to jump up to the level above the courtyard, then the slight black aura vanished. "They got these awesome desserts at the cafe, like this chocolate mousse, absolutely to die for." She walked over to the door, and pushed it open. "But, the best thing about this world is very few people judge you by your Chaos. And the ones who do tend to get thier asses kicked."
"Nope, these people don't take dollars for shit...." Damnit. "And they won't exchange 'em either....."Damnit."...But I eat free at the cafe, because I did 'em a favor, and they owe me big." Wow, damn, girl. Alicia toyed with the image of Xaoc cleaning the entire cafe of it's food for a while.
She watched as Xaoc leaped above the courtyard. "They got these awesome desserts at the cafe, like this chocolate mousse, absolutely to die for." Ho ho ho. "But, the best thing about this world is very few people judge you by your Chaos. And the ones who do tend to get their asses kicked."
"......It tends to reduce them to a quivering, gibbering crazy person in the fetal position."
HO. HO. HO.
Walking to a bench, Alicia jumped and grabbed the ledge, pulling herself up. With a grunt, she hefted herself on the platform. Following Xaoc, she piped up; "So, do you have any idea how those things we killed brought us here?"
"Yep. The world is gone. Caput, fini, erased, destroyed, no longer present on this plane of existance. My friend Lea has been a little skimpy on the deets, though. Can't imagine why, I already told him I'm glad it's gone. But, the way I figure it, the Heartless found and took something essential to a worlds survival. And that something was the metaphysical core of the world. Not the big superdense ball of metal, but something else. Oh well. Not my problem. I much prefer this city to Harmony. Not a Harmonic within 100 lightyears." Xaoc led Alicia to the doors, and swung them open. "Welcome to the First District. Accesory shop is the building in front of us, that shop way over there carries weapons, and right next door to that, the cafe." she started walking towards the cafe.
"Yep. The world is gone. Caput, fini, erased, destroyed, no longer present on this plane of existance." So the black creatures erase stupid worlds. Spiffy! ..."My friend Lea has been a little skimpy on the deets, though." Say what? "..Can't imagine why, I already told him I'm glad it's gone." Who wouldn't be? Well except for those stupid.... "...But, the way I figure it, the Heartless found and took something essential to a worlds survival." Oh, le gaspy, worlds have something vital to their survival. Interesting.
"...And that something was the metaphysical core of the world..." Hmm, the black creatures took the metaphysical core of a world. It..must not be very well protected, considering the strength of the creatures.... "Not the big superdense ball of metal, but something else." And the grass is green, mademoiselle.
"..Oh well. Not my problem. I much prefer this city to Harmony. Not a Harmonic within 100 lightyears."
"I wouldn't be so sure - there's the two of us, and some of the harmonics can be tenacious little pests." Alicia said, half-amused at the idea of Harmonics metamorphosing into cockroaches.
Xaoc opened a large door. "Welcome to the First District. Accesory shop is the building in front of us, that shop way over there carries weapons, and right next door to that, the cafe." Weapons. Ahahahahahahahaha what. As they strolled to the cafe, Alicia looked around for a while. "This town is remotely peaceful for having..people apparently dropping out all the time, and having those black creatures hittin' on other people. Is there someone looking after this town?" she mused.
"Trust me, ain't no Harmonic with the power to survive the detruction of our world. The only sucky thing about this town is there is nothing outside of it, except the vacuum of space. Oh well, once again, not my problem." she sat at a table, and the waitress brought over two menus. With her foot, xaoc pushed out a chair for alicia. She waved away the waitress, who then walked off. "And, no, this town ain't peaceful. Just, some parts are better than others."
"Trust me, ain't no Harmonic with the power to survive the detruction of our world." That is both flattering and lovely. Confetti, confetti, happiness. "...The only sucky thing about this town is there is nothing outside of it, except the vacuum of space." Oh wait what. That completely ignores and defies all possible laws of -
"...Oh well, once again, not my problem." Absolutely. Alicia followed Xaoc to a table. "Thank you," she said cheerfully, sitting down. This town was so much better then it looked. ...in a way. Bloody. Vampire. Hehe bloody. "And, no, this town ain't peaceful. Just, some parts are better than others." Oh, spiffy.
Alicia eyed the menu for a while. Blah. Menus. "I'm not too picky, so I'll have anything you're having..as well as that die-for-me mousse." she said with a slight smirk. As ladylike as she could possibly muster, she glanced behind, eyeing the outside of the cafe. So far, she hadn't caught sight of the vampire. Hmm. Well, all the better for him. "Because if I see him, shit is gonna get down." she thought with another smirk.
"Well, I usually get a plate of spaghetti, a salad, and the chocolate mousse. Or pie, they have good spiced apple pie. Um, you looking for someone? You seem slightly nervous. Or twitchy. One of the two." she waved the waitress over, and said,"Two of the usual." The waitress nodded and asked, "And for dessert?" Xaoc looked down at the menu. "Hmm... I think this time I shall have a slice of pie. What about you, Alicia?"
"Well, I usually get a plate of spaghetti, a salad, and the chocolate mousse. Or pie, they have good spiced apple pie...... And for dessert? Hmm... I think this time I shall have a slice of pie. What about you, Alicia?" " Decisions, decisions. "Pie it is, then." Alicia replied, swinging around and giving a half-smile to the waitress.
"...Um, you looking for someone? You seem slightly nervous." Bahaha! Alert. "Oh, not waiting per se. Looking for would probably be a more well-suited word." Alicia said. Because, he can just kiss the darkest part of my lily white - "Some horny, bloodlusted vampire tried to take either my blood or my virginity, perhaps both." she said, hoping she didn't sound too vague.
"so, tell me, what's your criminal speciality? Theft, extortion, kidnapping, murder?" Xaoc asked, thinking of the girl's abilities, and eyeing her weapon. Could be any of the above, or any combination, or all of them. "And, how old are you? You don't look much older than high school years, accounting for the anti aging properties of Chaos?" the waitress came over, bearing food, and two bottles of the local beer. "I assume your guest is legal, Xaoc?" xaoc grinned. "Legal enough. Besides, who's gonna mess with me?" The waitress giggled. "Right, I forgot. Alright ladies, just tell me when you want dessert." Xaoc smiled at her, and the waitress departed. She jabbed a fork into the spaghetti, spinning it to pick up a mouthful.
"so, tell me, what's your criminal speciality? Theft, extortion, kidnapping, murder?" Alicia tossed Xaoc the most charming smile she could retrieve from memory. "Oh, I'm very persuasive at times." she said, running a finger down Breaker is an almost loving manner. She couldn't help but let out a short laugh. "I sound weird when I try to act menacing though.."
"And, how old are you? You don't look much older than high school years, accounting for the anti aging properties of Chaos?" Ah crunk, how old was she again? "I do believe I'm 19," she replied thoughtfully. "I assume your guest is legal, Xaoc?" Damn straight, lady, now give me mah booze.
"Legal enough. Besides, who's gonna mess with me?" Who indeed. "Right, I forgot. Alright ladies, just tell me when you want dessert." "Sweet polly oliver, fancy food. It has been quiiite some time," Alicia stated. Taking her fork, she rolled it in one hand for a while. Oh yes, noodles, jab and twist. "Have a spouse, a darl, a sweetheart?" she asked while eating.
"I got a guy I like, Lea. He's a human form Heartless, so naturally, he's wild and dangerous, and oh so fun. Course, the other members of his little group wouldn't like the fact that we are together, so, hush hush. He uses fire based magic. Oh, and magic is most def real on this world. Don't know how, but, once again, not my problem. Heh, course, it's a little difficult to get him to accept any physical romance. Every time i try it seems, he yells something about being only 16, and gets all twitchy. It's kinda cute, actually. Still, after last night, it should be easier." she took a bite of her food, and popped the top off her beer bottle. She took a swig. "What abour you? What do you look for in a guy?"
"I got a guy I like, Lea. He's a human form Heartless, so naturally, he's wild and dangerous, and oh so fun." Wow, you are fast...and very convincing, taming someone like that. "....Course, the other members of his little group wouldn't like the fact that we are together, so, hush hush." My lips, they are sealed. "..He uses fire based magic..." Oh, the burn-bastard-burn type of guy.
"...Oh, and magic is most def real on this world." Yay, now I can pull rabbits out of a hat. Fun fun fun. "..Don't know how, but, once again, not my problem." Highly doubt anyone would be bothered. "Heh, course, it's a little difficult to get him to accept any physical romance." Ah, come now, darkness incarnate unwilling to share any .."physical romance"? BLASPHEMY! Unheard of! "Every time i try it seems, he yells something about being only 16, and gets all twitchy. It's kinda cute, actually." As a adorable as a bunch of kittens, I assure you.
"...Still, after last night, it should be easier."Hohoho. You work fast, magirl. "...What about you? What do you look for in a guy?" Alicia nearly spat out the food in her mouth, but fortunately looked like she had a mild headache. What do you look for in a guy? "What indeed.." Alicia mused. She never really gave any thought to..well..finding a partner. Because most men back home were slutty whores. Yes, men. "I never really thought about it," she said after a moment of consideration. "Most probably not someone down to earth and boring, though."
Xaoc leaned back in her chair. "You've never thought about it? Really? And, you're a virgin too? A surprisingly restrained Chaotic. Most are total sexpots. I know I am... Hmm..." Xaoc shrugged, and spun up more spaghetti. "Well, think about it now. And while you're doing so, tell me about yourself." She scooped the spaghetti into her mouth, curious about the girl's origins. Truth be told, she wanted to know all she could about the girl. She no doubt had a fascinating story. The most stable Chaotics did. Plus, it would help her figure out where Alicia would fit in.
