In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Xaoc watched Vayne bring the bag of groceries back to Leiz, then instead of givin back the bag, he grabbed Leiz hand, and shook like crazy.
"Was that so hard? All of that fuss..."
She couldn't help it. She laughed. Ah, he was just too cute! He offered the bag of groceries back to the guy for real, and she smiled indulgently at Vayne. She nudged Alicia. "Ain't he so cute?" she asked her newly adopted sister.
Leiz grimaced as his hand was forcefully shaken, pulling it away almost as soon as Vayne's grip loosened. It soon came back in full force, however, snagging the edge of the grocery bag with accuracy and blinding speed. In one swift motion, the bag was already back in his arm's embrace - where it belonged.
"There, you extorted a handshake out of me, just like you wanted. Now, unless you two are also touchy-feely and desperately want one as well, I'd say we're done with the pleasantries. Regardless, I'm leaving," Leiz remarked, turning and leaving for Traverse Town's dockyards. With a stoic inflection in his stroll, it seemed that he was none too ecstatic about the random conversation he had found himself in.
Opening the large double doors slightly with an outstretched left foot, the green-haired boy subsequently slipped through the small opening and continued on through.
"Ain't he so cute?" "Overflowing with it, I assure you," Alicia smirked. The boy seemed kin to get the heck out of there as soon as he could. "There, you extorted a handshake out of me, just like you wanted. Now, unless you two are also touchy-feely and desperately want one as well, I'd say we're done with the pleasantries. Regardless, I'm leaving,"
"Now, unless you two are also touchy-feely and desperately want one as well..." Alicia looked at Xaoc, and a naughty smile graced her lips. There was a short burst, and Alicia activated Flight. Skating gently after the boy, Alicia watched as he opened the large doors. Aha. She swung him around lightly, and grabbed his hand."I'm delighted to meet you, my dear. Just unutterably delighted. It makes my heart swoon. Might you deign to shake my hand? I should wish nothing more to put the capper upon this day, nay, this month, indeed, my whole lifetime..!" Alicia said in a single breath, as loudly as she could, voice a sarcastic yet annoyingly polite tone. Grabbing the boy's hand, she marveled at it's roughness, shook it hard up and down before releasing her vice grip.
Vayne was surprisingly agile for a mere cat-boy, and managed to slip in and catch the groceries that fell from what he assumed was a very startled and annoyed Leiz's hand when Alicia took it and began to shake it as well.
"Careful, Allie!" Vayne said, standing from his position on the ground and offereing the bag to Leiz for the second or third time in the past few minutes. "I didn't give these back just to have him drop them on the ground and be wasted!"
If there was one thing Vayne didn't like (and indeed, it might be the ONLY thing he didn't like), it was wasting food. Especially apples... Mmmm... Apples. Mmmmmmmmmm... Note.
Vayne sighed. Was this what love was? Everything reminds you of a certain person? Vayne stepped back after Leiz took his groceries and began to lean against the wall, humming a tune to himself.
He was wearing a lop-sided and goofy grin, blushing for no reason, and felt super happy... This had to be love...
Xaoc giggled as Alicia darted in to screw with the guy, then watched vayne quickly catch the groceries that fell. The man looked pissed off as he was walking outside. He was walking outside...
Aha.
"Hey, you, wait a minute. You got a ship? Can you take us someplace? I will gladly pay for it." She fished into her pocket, and started pulling out rings, the solid gold hoops about 9 inches across. "You like gold?"
In spite of his best efforts, the three would not let up. Mere milliseconds after he had opened the door, he felt himself being spun around on a dime, dropping both his bags as the green-capped woman shook his hand in earnest. Everything about the gesture, however, looked and felt ingenuine - it only served to piss the boy off.
Thankfully, the cat-eared boy had caught his bags - an act of kindness that would otherwise be unnecessary had the girl not come in.
"Okay, fuck off. All three of you," Leiz grimly voiced, the anger in his words becoming exacerbated. He tugged away with all his strength and threw their handshake away, subsequently darting his hands out for both bags and securing them in his clutches. Even as Xaoc pulled out golden trinkets in what appeared to be some vain attempt to buy him off, his nerves hadn't been quite settled.
Quite bluntly, The damage had been done: Leiz wanted little to do with them, regardless of what gratuities were offered. He was quite finished with Traverse Town now and its many issues, and now it was time to depart.
"Tell you what. Why don't you go sell those rings so you can afford a fuckin' lobotomy, because I'm sure the three of y--"
... RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE ...
Widening his eyes in surprise as he was cut off by the crackling rumble of shifting stone, Leiz hopped backward to find that the ground between him and the group of three was reshaping itself. In almost an instant, a giant barrier erected out of stone jutted up through the ground, separating him and the group.
[[Someone else has invited themselves to the fray. Stand by for a very special guest appearance.]]
“It’s terrible enough that the people of this town are accosted by the Heartless, but to have sentient individuals – who should have the decency to act civil – cause grievances for others over the most menial of things…? This I will most certainly not stand for.”
The effort exhausted him, calling up the massive stone wall to block the archway that separated the First District from the docks that played host to travelers’ ships, but well worth it. He had only seen a small bit of the exchange, but that was enough to tell him that the green-haired man wanted nothing more than to just get away, far away, from those three. Malakai was willing to comply.
Striding up to stand at Leiz’s left, he snapped his fingers. The bell around his neck jingled and the massive wall’s smooth surface suddenly became jagged and sharp.
“That wall is twenty feet high and five thick. Over or through are your only options if you are so insistent on continuing to heckle this man. Or if I so choose to lower it. Which will not be happening anytime soon,” Malakai said, loudly and sternly so that three beyond the wall could hear. “You could very well just turn around and leave this encounter behind. I highly recommend doing so. But it’s your choice.”
That said he tilted his head slightly to Leiz, his one blue eye focusing on him through a curtain of auburn hair. He spoke softly to the green-haired man. “I apologize for intervening, but you looked quite… ah... displeased with how things were progressing. I don’t know how long that wall will last, if they choose to persist. I know not of what they are capable of. So it would be best if you get on your way. Now.”
He folded his hands behind his back and a semblance of a smile graced his pale lips.

Alicia smirked - the sound of prissy boys were amusing. "Tell you what. Why don't you go sell those rings so you can afford a fuckin' lobotomy, because I'm sure the three of y--" And he stopped there - for a good reason, because an Earthquake struck....Alicia swiftly grabbed Vayne and pulled him backwards as well as lower. A massive wall of stone rose right in front of her, directly in the middle of where Vayne's legs stood. Ouch.
“It’s terrible enough that the people of this town are accosted by the Heartless, but to have sentient individuals – who should have the decency to act civil – cause grievances for others over the most menial of things…? This I will most certainly not stand for.” A man's voice, different from Mr. Prissy was sounding from the other side of the wall. Hmm.“That wall is twenty feet high and five thick. Over or through are your only options if you are so insistent on continuing to heckle this man. Or if I so choose to lower it. Which will not be happening anytime soon. You could very well just turn around and leave this encounter behind. I highly recommend doing so. But it’s your choice.”
Alicia snorted loudly. Really, he intended to block them with walls. She knew they needed to hound Prissy - "Hey, you, wait a minute. You got a ship? Can you take us someplace? I will gladly pay for it." Well Xaoc had punishment....and Alicia stared at the boy cowering in her arms. Oh dear. "Excuse me, sweety," she muttered. Flight was still active, and she grabbed Vayne's underarms, hoisting him over her shoulder. "Meet you on the other side, then," she called to Xaoc. There was a problem though - the wall was covered with sharp jagged protrusions everywhere. "What would one do when the very ground turns against him, huh." Still, it was possible to get over - not unharmed of course. Sighing, she adjusted Vayne's soft body so that he wouldn't be jabbed by either the walls..or her arms. Activating Cutter now, she muttered; "Hold on tight.." before running and jumping to the wall. Making it a quarter up, she used her Chaos-enhanced arms to pull her self up, causing her clothes to get slightly ripped. Sigh! Fortunately the main orifice taking the brunt of the spikes were her hands - and even more fortunately, the spikes were a little more then ticklish like ants running over her hands.
At the top, Alicia nearly fell to her death - the wall hit the archway, there was no way across. Slowly going back down, she gently set Vayne down - God forbid a nuclear bomb, there was no way across. Vayne was walking away already, Alicia's eyes followed him. His hopes were probably dashed from looking for Note - it was her fault. She shook her head lightly - there was nothing else they could do. She did, though, note the voice of the man who raised the wall. If she happened to find him...
Vayne mewled as he was set down without touching the spikes of the wall. It was an impossible feat, getting through this wall. And climbing it was also impossible...
I can't get through. I can't go over... and I can't see Note...
Vayne's ears flattened, and he felt the cold, all-consuming chill again. This time, though, it lasted for more than a split second. Indeed, even as he stood, he though he'd go numb from the cold.
Maybe... Maybe love isn't enough... to get me where I need to go.
One thing was for certain, though. This whole thing had taught him a lesson. He couldn't just expect people to enjoy his-- what he now knew was foolish and annoying-- antics and attempts to help.
From now on, he had to remember that he didn't speak unless spoken to, didn't try to help unless asked, and was nothing but an annoyance if he failed to adhere to that code.
Rising from his seat on the ground, Vayne took a single, forlorn look at the wall, shook his head, and walked listlessly back towards the Zero District.
I'm sorry Note... I guess I won't be there as soon as I had hoped.
