In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(I soo don't know what question she didn't answer. I shall reply anyways for I'm not delaying the post.)
Hearing him admit the oddity of an apologetic Nobody wasn't very comforting; it made her question how serious, half-hearted, or whole-heartedly she should take into account. She hardly heard him mention his mysterious revival; she was too wrapped in thought to distort her mind on the concept of his genuine nature. Is genuine even a word to describe Axel when it came to honesty? She wouldn't know; she hardly knew him. He didn't regain her full attention until he uttered were his allegiance lied.
Her brows furrowed at the answer not pleased with it at all, "Of sorts? And what's that supposed to mean?"
Seriously how could he consider himself a friend of Sora and Roxas, but side with those they stood against, and betraying them was betraying her, which only made his apology mute and useless before muttering lowly, "I wonder what Roxas would think of that."
"What could be so worth it to be with them again...and being on opposite sides of Roxas and Sora?" She didn't include herself, because she doubted she had much value to his existence. Any smooth course between them would've started with the apology if everything from then didn't uproot in damaging results like a train wreck.
He evaded her question by re-directing one on her, but Kairi happened to have forgotten what was asked to begin with.
"What question..."
(You can send me ze question via pm for I can extend the post or just reply)
(Hello All; pardon my absence, but now I'm here to post and keep this thread moving)
Nobody? What's a Nobody? Does the fact that he's a Nobody explain why he "faded" or whatever?. Apollotin pondered this once the red-headed man mentioned that it was hard for one such being to apologize.
Then he went on to mentioning that Nobodies weren't supposed to have feelings, or whatever. At first the priest thought he was referring to actually feeling something, but then quickly dismissed that; this man obviously was talking about feeling emotion.
But this was quite contradictory; this man in the black robes apparently had the ability to feel emotion. There was a long, awkward pause, and Paul himself was beginning to feel a little bit jittery. He began drumming his fingers against the wall, worried that he might lose his focus and make to loud of a noise, drawing their attention.
Thankfully, the man spoke again, and Apollotin was able to put his mind completely on eavesdropping. As strange as it was, this man was not sure of how he came back after he, "faded". How does this guy not know? I mean, if I were brought back from the Underworld, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to know when I was alive again.
The man with the fiery-red hair confirmed that he was with the Organization... of sorts. My; it appears this man is quite wishy-washy. He doesn't seem to be the kind of person to stay fully committed to anything.
Apparently, the girl herself was uncertain of what the man had meant by "of sorts", and she apparently wanted more explanation. But she wanted an explanation of what that meant. Then, she muttered something incomprehensible (to Apollotin at least), and then asked if it would be worth it if this man stayed with the Organization... and be on the opposite side of Roxas and Sora?!
There they go! Their mentioning Sora again! He's apparently been extremely busy around the worlds... but who's Roxas?! Argh! So many questions!
All these thoughts were beginning to cloud the priest's mind, and it was giving him a headache. But then the Red-haired man noted that the maiden had yet to answer his question, instead of answering hers all day long. She apparently was confused by this, but because Paul had been only focused on listening to them, he thought heknew what the mysterious man was refering to, I believe he wanted her to answer the question, where were we, since she never truly answered that... but I wonder.
This conversation was getting interesting, and Apollotin was glad he had opted to stay in eavesdrop. But for how much longer would this go on?
"Whoa whoa whoa. Hold up. Who said I wasn't on their sides?" Hands confidently braced his hips, feathers, if they could be, being ruffled. "I died for them once, you know." It was true. He had died for Sora to save him in the Betwixt and Between, starkly cutting his existence short. He'd taken flight with his valiant search for his best friend as best he could, up until his first death: an experience he had no real desire to go through again.
With his fingers curled into a fist, his thumb jabbed at his boasting chest. "And I'd probably do it again." If it meant he could find Roxas in the Next Life, maybe, no matter how much he wanted to live, he'd repeat the uncanny experience of his first 'fading'.
Arms crossed over his decently broad chest. "The only reason I'm still with the Organization is to get my Heart back. End of story." Fire kindled in those eyes - not one of hostility, but instead, one of vivacity. "That question you never answered. . ."
He stuck out his hand again. "Is whether or not you forgive me."

Kairi rolled her eyes jokingly as he stretched his hand out, “If I didn’t would even be talking to you right now?”
She would let him mull over that answer, a question to a question, but she couldn’t back down from the off-ness of it all. She personally wasn’t comfortable or admired the idea of him being with the Organization; it’s as if he’s walking down the same wrong path all over again despite the ties he had to the person who’s legacy was to protect the worlds and hearts as well.
“I get what you’re saying, but isn’t that a contradiction? You’re with the Organization, which means on the surface you’re opposing them. You’re not doing anything different than they had then, which are the same offenses Sora and Roxas opposed. Don’t you get that? This time around Roxas isn’t with you.”
“I get it your desperate for your heart,” to the point of in a way be on the other side of the fence from your friend, “but if…no one got their hearts the last time, then why do you think you’ll get it with them…this time by scavenging the hearts of others? Do you even know what Xemnas did the last time? It was hardly anywhere close to ‘getting his heart back’, and you’ll just what follow under that leadership again? I don’t know how you became what you are now, but that isn’t fair to the other hearts, Sora, or you. I would rather help you find YOUR heart, your OWN heart rather than knowing you’re taking hearts of others.”
She would never understand what it meant to be a nobody; she can only imagine emptiness, complete emptiness. Even with her imagination, it wouldn’t be the same as living every minute, every hour, being empty. Also on the flip side, she would never understand what it meant to be a heartless, but regardless she pitied them. They were people like her and her friends on the island wiggled down to something so hated and something so lost in the darkness. They were so neck deep that at times they aren’t even human anymore. It was too cruel of a fate to live, so the keyblade wielders vanquish them. Sure probably Sora and Riku done it to protect the people who were still people, but Kairi always remembered that they at one point where walking about like her. With a swing of her keyblade she wished them peace in Kingdom Hearts or at least another chance.
“If you can get a chance to be a person again, then so should they. After all they’re not so different from you; they lost themselves regardless of how, and you should be able to identify with that…whether you can feel empathy or not.”
“So how about this,” she reached out to grab his hand firmly, “I forgive you, and you let me help you find your heart, the heart that will always be yours.”
As the priest stood back to back against the wall, the Red-Haired man objected to the fact, saying that he never said he wasn't with the Organization. Ironically, Apollotin could imagine the man saying that with his hands on his hips, much in the same manner another red-head would...
To defend his case, the apparent "Nobody" insisted how he had died for this Organization group, and he'd do it again; all for the sake of getting his heart back. . . Or was he referring to dying for Roxas and Sora? If he's talking about dying for Sora and this "Roxas", then I'm at a complete loss why'd he'd be with this Organization. But if he's talking about dying for the Organization, I can understand why he'd do something like this; but it seems that this Organization wasn't at all successful on their first attempt... Why would he take the same approach again?
There was no logic behind the reasoning, and Paul's patron god being Apollo, he often studied the art of thinking logically. This thought began to trouble him so much, he even began thinking about going out there to confront the two of them. The man, however, finally explained what question he was looking for; if he was forgiven or not.
Personally, Paul had not remembered the "Nobody" (it was weird to label a person like that) saying anything about that. At any rate, the auburn haired maiden explained that she wouldn't be talking to him if she hadn't.
The girl then seemed to be blessed by Apollo, because then she began sharing logic with the man. She mentioned the name's Roxas and Sora a few times, and also noted how the Organization's plans failed last time, apparently lead by a man named Xemnas. She then scolded him for wanting to, apparently, scavenge others hearts to replace his own, rather than go looking for his own.
I'm liking this girl and more. She certainly is sure of herself, and knows her stuff. The priest thought to himself silently. Quite suddenly, a raven flew over head, the midnight black bird landing on a nearby rooftop, it's path flying overhead the conversation. Suddenly, Apollotin found himself praying for courage, for he was about to do something quite bold.
After the girl had offered her hand, as well as a second chance to the man, Apollotin dared to make his move. The bird roosting nearby cawed, and then flew off into the distance as the priest walked out of the alley-way, hands up to show he meant no harm. Or at least that's what he hoped.
He licked his lips for a moment, trying to think of how to explain himself, and finally came to a choice of words, "Before you scold me, let me tell you, I'm extremely sorry; I did eavesdrop on the conversation. For that, you can tell me off as much as you like, but I ask you to please hear me out."
Taking a deep breath, he dropped his hands to his sides, and began to explain his actions, "I'm normally not the kind of person to do something like this, but I felt this urge to listen in. I'm new to the world you see, though I bet you already guessed, and I've still got a lot of questions. So as such, I listened in to see if I could learn anything. And now that I've heard Sora's name, I know it's serious."
Turning to the red-headed man, he spoke about what had been bugging him, "I did hear how you are apparently apart of this, "Organization." I know nothing of you people, other than the fact you are, forgive me, a bunch of Nobody's. I heard how you are lacking of a heart, and now I just want you to listen to me about this; I'm a priest of Apollo, though a god of many things, one of his domains are reason. And in which, I'm a studier of logic"
Giving a slight nod over towards the unnamed girl, he continued, "She is right now exhibiting great logic, something my patron would be proud of, and I want you to consider this, coming from another person; The Organization failed last time, yes? And from my understanding, Sora was the catalyst that defeated this, "Xemnas". So that's the first point. If you join with her to find your heart, you're already on the side that's had a victory over the Organization."
Drawing to his second point, he noted, "Second, you are quite obviously unique for a Nobody. Though you say you don't, you sir, feel emotion. That's why your asking for an apology. Only a being with a conscience would do so. I'm not sure how you wronged her, but you apparently feel sorry for it. As such, don't you feel the slightest inclination of guilt of not trying to find your own heart before taking anothers? This then leads me to my last point,"
Pointing to himself, Paul heard the raven croak in the distance, and hoped this hunch was right, "I'm called Apollotin Caliburn, or just Paul, and I'm from the world of Olympus Colosseum, which compared to this world, is rather behind in technology. As such, I was lucky for a friend to find me and drop me off here in Radiant Gardens so I could explore the worlds, but I am much more ignorant of the worlds than other world travelers. However, I do know that a Heartless is a being that lost it's body and pretty much soul, and it's just a wandering heart that feasts on others hearts. Which leads me to this question; do you know a Heartless by the name of Lea?"
After this, the maestro inhaled extra deeply, anxious to hear the man's response to all of this. He pretended to reach back and itch his head, but in all actuality, he was fingering his lyre lest things went bad....

Reassurance was perhaps an empty feeling in a Nobody, but the same concept, in thought form, had eased his stirring mind. The hand clasping Kairi's tightened, stare getting firmer on her after the new proposal. "And you know of an alternate way to get my Heart back?" He withdrew his grasp, crossing one arm. The finger of the other tapped at his chin a few times.
With conscience set on a decision, he spoke. "I still get the feeling it's grasping at straws, but..." he was about to finish his thought when that Priest from earlier had rounded the corner, announcing his presence.
His posture had shifted, bordering aggressive when the pompous Cleric announced his eavesdropping. He was taking a chance, letting Kairi see him at all. The Organization would be frustrated enough as it was -- but now, there was information on their gang and it was out to this traveling Bishop as well.
His hands braced his hips in dissatisfaction as he listened to the boy speak. Most of the words had become a ramble of incoherent noise in the background as his mind focussed on how he would come back to corner and interrogate this kid.
Make him squirm.
A particular name awakened him to the present time.
". . .do you know a Heartless by the name of Lea?"
Lea. The Priest had knowledge of Axel, Lea, and the Organization -- how much more information did he have tucked away... what other important info did he have yet to divulge? Whatever information Paul had left in his mind, he'd already displayed a knowledge of more than that which was permitted for outsiders. It seemed to be a foolish move to expose so much of his ascertained knowledge to complete strangers; for all he knew, he could've been signing his name away on a hit list.
But, it was on to the matters at present. And when it involved his Heart, nothing was going to stand in his way. Not even keeping up with Xemnas's failed attempt at Kingdom Hearts.
"Lea, huh?" The corners of his mouth tightened. "He's one bad apple." Not half as competent as Axel was, but that was beside the point. The Flurry didn't mind giving others fuel to oppose the Dark Twelve with - they were his enemies, too. "I saw him back on a beach awhile back... where was that?" His index finger and thumb pinched at the bridge of his nose for a moment as he thought. "Oh yeah! The Caribbean."
His fingers wove together behind that sea of spiky, bright red hair. Despite his aloof disposition, there was a fire in his teal-green eyes that wanted to know more. "You have some kinda beef with him?"
Internally he was hoping to wrap this up so that he could get back on task with Kairi, but a spark of curiosity had been struck at the mention of a particular Heartless, and he was curious as to an answer.
After that, he could go back to addressing the matter of finding his Heart with Kairi.

(Holy Sheet I had no idea it was my turn bwhahaha)
His question sounded heavier than she excepted as if her answer dictated everything that was to come; a wrong word and she can loose him, "Well...we'll have to find it of-course, and if I could piece back Sora...I can probably do it again. Plus it's your own, so you should be able to recognize it."
She even became unsure of it, but she wouldn't let it show, since his existence depended on it. Who wanted to live a life of being a shade of a person just a sliver a mere piece and portion without gaining all the benefits or participate in all that means to be human, to feel.
Kairi nearly jumped at the random voice that seemed to call out of nowhere; her feet padded about to turn before spotting the guy from before...who wanted heartless-free practice. She didn't know when she positioned herself further from him and closer to Axel.
H-h-ow long was he standing there? WAS HE WATCHING US?! Typically that would be the ultimate sign of a creeper. The more she talked she wondered if she was jumping the gun of paranoia or had more reasons to be concerned and tensed. Who just snoops around like that? And GREAT he heard whispers of Sora? Wait...where did he came from to even hear of that? All of those questions were punted aside as he was able to piece enough factual data of the Organization by listening in on their litle conversation.
Her eyes grew a little larger, then glanced over to Axel noticing his stiffness. Why did she feel that this stranger was stepping into dangerous territory? Form what she recalled, the Organization kept themselves on the low, and now this random guy now knows the identiy of two of them including the leader and their past endeavors...well part of it. Yes, Axel seemed to be the loose canon of the bunch, but rumors of him stepping out wouldn't hold him a good case around them. What if they blamed it on him and sought out punishment of tretchery?
Right then it dare reaching out to help someone could easily turn into bringing him back to an early grave...again.
"Lea? ...Who's Lea?" She whispered to Axel looking confused. There was finally something out of the open that even she wasn't aware of, but Axel and this Paul knew. Now her eyes were darting between the two and their new found commonality. The only insight about him that he was an Heartless and a 'bad apple' at that. In her head, she made a mental note to be aware of any Lea's even if the name oddly bugged her the buzzing in the back of her mind. There was something familiar about it, but her memories gave her nothing to reference from. That dead end usually meant her life before Destiny Islands, and since she hardly remember much of it, she knew it was a lost cause unless Lea was some kid on the island she'd forgotten who vanished like Kuu.
The Caribbean? There was another world with a beach! Kairi wasn't so simple minded to think that Destiny Island was the only one, but after seeing that Radiant Garden was barren of one, it only drove her homesickness more. Also she wasn't ready to go anywhere near home, so something similar to it would be a fresh air. Maybe she could poke Axel into taking her there later. Hopefully this Lea wasn't shacking out there.
One hand waved through the air, landing proudly on his chest. "He's the Heartless of yours truly," the smooth words did little to quiet the train wreck going on in his mind as he thought long and hard about the decision he was about to make. The single word resounding in his mind was full of dissatisfaction; traitor.
Just how was he supposed to justify going out to do the exact same thing that he and Xaldin had been sent to kill Marluxia for? The treasonous act would most definitely not be taken lightly. Unfortunately for Axel, he had always secured a place for himself within the Thirteen under the pretense of being the Organization's Lap Dog, as it were. The most common orders he'd received rung with the same chord: Find the Traitor, and bring him back. If he refuses to come back, end him.
He'd been sent after Vexen, and Marluxia twice. Worse yet, he had been given orders to bring Roxas back. The tall seats and stark white walls were hard to forget:
"Get rid of him! Isn't it a little early for that?!"
"It's an order, why are you hesitating? Aren't you the one who dealt swift and merciless judgement to those who turned their backs on the Organization?" The words pricked bitterly, like a snake injecting its venom under his skin.
"He hasn't turned his back on us! He's just not able to come back yet!"
"If he doesn't come back, then he must pay the price. If you oppose these orders, you'll be the one to pay." He could still feel the wind on the right side of his head as a lance plummeted into the headrest of his seat, close enough to get a point across.
Axel had mumbled a few words to himself, quiet irritation boiling his blood. He spit a quiet phrase to himself before piping up. "Use the Dusks...." What a low, low blow. But if it were between leaving Roxas to the merciless Dusks, and confronting his best friend himself, Axel was sure he could pull off something that would be in Roxas's favor. "Fine, I got it! I'll do it, I'll do it!
They weren't the first orders he'd play double-agent on. Axel had always been in it for himself and those he held close. His first search for Roxas, while masquerading as a loyal Organization Member, had really been for his own selfish interests. In his mind, it was Roxas he would've been loyal to, if given the chance to meet him that last time. And fighting him? It was all a well-played ploy -- a reason to tell the Organization that he'd lost a fight with Roxas -- at least he could say he tried, though secretly, to say he tried very hard would've been negligible at best.
In the Betwixt and Between, his existence was cut short in his last-ditch effort to find his best friend, and despite his lucky second chance at existence -- the 'rebirthing' of the Organization, he took as a chance to mingle his orders with his own sly intentions and rhetoric. Between the steel trap of his mind and his dangerously deceptive tongue, he had been successful at leading the Organization on.
And now, he was confronted with another chance to play double-agent. His mind played with the immanent dangers, unease in every fiber of his being. His memory found itself repeating all of the advice he'd given Roxas in an effort to save himself from the impending doom he knew would come, if he had chosen any path to his Heart besides the one set forth via Organization Thirteen:
"Look at what it's come to. I've been given these icky orders to destroy you, if you refuse to come back with me."
"I'm not getting turned into a Dusk for... Wait a sec -- you remember now?"
"You really do remember me this time. I'm so FLATTERED! But you're too late!"
"You can't turn on the Organization! You get on their bad side and they'll destroy you!"

The image of a Dusk - harbinger of an inevitable fate - began dancing through the back of his mind. It would be a worse existence than he was living now to be turned into nothing but the simplest of Nobodies; being a humanoid Nobody meant his will was stronger than other Nobodies - it was a bragging rite held by every Organization member - a bragging rite that Axel could very well lose, if he set his mind on the path Kairi was offering him.
The cogwheels of his mind were turning, working to figure out how to come out with the best cards at the end of the game -- the best chance to win, based on the options he'd been given.
And then, he remembered his real drive -- not this Heart mumbo-jumbo he'd been piping to himself in Roxas's absence, but his true drive -- the one that had always hidden deep within him.
"No one would miss me."
"That's not true! . . .I would."
All this time, hidden beneath fancy words and sly actions, Axel's real drive had always been Roxas -- and befriending him again would probably be better than finding his Heart. . . wouldn't it?
Number Eight's face tilted upward as he considered the possibility a moment, black-lined eyes squinting toward the sky as his mind offered the possibility of taking the dangerous card; especially if it increased his probability of seeing his best friend.
Besides -- what if there really was a better chance for him to retrieve his Heart if he stayed with Kairi? It would be like nailing two birds with one stone. And surely, if it meant more than the empty words the Organization had promised him, it would at least be worth a shot.
A little tap in the back of his mind reminded him that Kairi was still waiting on him, back in reality, and his attention began to surface in the here-and-now once again. Those jade eyes were more reflective than Kairi would have ever seen them before, and as they rested on the young female, perhaps there was even a spark of resolve kindling within them.
He rested a hand on Kairi's shoulder momentarily, before retracting it and turning away. "Let's discuss this promise you made me." His Heartless wasn't what he wanted to rabbit- trail on right now. There were more important things to discuss! After all, Axel had no intention of merging with Lea again; he wanted to be his own person, but he also wanted his Heart. Further, he wanted to see his best friend again.
When there were people out there who wanted to reign over the Universe, or to win many great wars in the name of their own honor and bigoted glory... A reunion with one's best friend, and a Heart were very simple, humble requests.
Were such things too much to ask for?[/blockquote]

Kairi at first didn’t know how to take the news; her lips pursed together as she tried to decipher Axel’s proud projection of his parentage of a heartless, while making it clear before that Lea wasn’t the purest of them all. Perhaps it was a boy thing, since they were mirror reflections of one another; Lea’s strength would be exemplifying his own. Her head shook to clear away the confusion. She for once wasn’t too anxious to meet up with more ranks of the Dark XII. For a girl who can be confident in her capabilities, she already came to a close call once before; she didn’t confidence and optimism blinding her and misguiding her into more sticky situations.
Unfortunately somewhere in her heart, she felt that crossing paths with Lea was inevitable. How else would Axel obtain a heart that was rightfully his own without Lea being in the picture when the heartless wielded and clouded his heart in darkness. It brought on the riddle and equation in how to ‘reverse engineer’ the creation of a heartless and nobody to become whole again. That was the only way she was going to play this game, and more to the infortune, the only person she knew to succeed this was Sora. The procedure was an anomaly altogether because she was involved herself. Sora didn’t stay a heartless for long or was one when he completed himself with Roxas Through her heart, she called Sora back, an endeavor she doesn’t understand until this day. Despite the cookie cutter equation and relations of a heartless and nobody, Sora was in a way intact body, heart, and soul, yet still incomplete without Roxas. Yet he lived without knowledge of Roxas or knowledge of being ‘broken’.
Yet could Sora easily fade into darkness if he continued to be without Roxas? Did her interference cause potentially more hazard than what scratched the surface? Had it caused some sort of rift or brought more variables to one’s unstable existence? In regards of not completely understanding what she done and how she did, is she even responsible enough in conducting it again if she find a way to do it at will. Did she make a promise too soon? Being aware in how far he went to claim his heart, co-signing with the Organization, or grasp the feeling of having one, kidnapping her to lure Sora to get Roxas again, can she really back out now? Being formerly dubbed a bad guy or not, Kairi didn’t want to be the one with condemn him with disappointment when it seemed he believed her enough to find this possible. Did he think it was possible? He must’ve since he was still in her company. Did she bring him a light she shouldn’t have, a false sense of hope. No, I’ll make sure he’d get his heart back…even if it costs mine. I made a promise, and with the keyblade it’s kind of my duty….
Finding herself too quiet, she looked to Axel to see if the narrowed cat-eyed man was reading her mind, but she only found him just as in deep thought than her. Her brows frowned lightly to show her wondering concern. What could a double-crosser of the Organization XIII, who have a heartless loose and a proposition of regaining his heart, thinking about?
“Axel,” she started, while stepping in front of him to see his full face, “Axel?” Then he looked at her, and her throat when dry and felt like it knotted. For someone who couldn’t feel, she couldn’t help but feel empathy. How can you feel towards something that can’t? Yet his eyes didn’t portrayed falsehood, they felt and looked genuine. Either they were with the conclusion he made, or she was giving the Nobody way too much credit. With his hand landing on her shoulder, she felt warmth from him, perhaps from the flames he governed. It all gave a different spectrum to her former kidnapper. It made him appear softer and less intimidating than how he did when she first met him.
She was staring at him in a daze until he voice made her vision and focus sharpened, “So you’re considering it? You maybe right…this can be pulling at straws, but I was able to call back Sora and I even retracted darkness in someone’s heart with my own light. The first I don’t know how I did it or if it would even work for you. The latter would be including your heart, which you know who holds on to it.”

(i am so.... So... So.... So... Sorry. If I'm not mistaken, this is where I am to post.)
Apollotin watched as the Red Headed man thought about the Heartless Lea, and after a few quick comments about him, and something about the beach Caribbean (Another world?), he asked if Paul had some sort of "beef with Lea"
The priest was about to respond, but something... some force held him back; he heard the auburn haired girl ask, "Lea?...Who's Lea?"
The Nobody had his hand on the girl's shoulder, and Paul hadn't even noticed; he was holding his breath to see what in the world this guy was going to do.
Paul nearly grabbed his bow as the guy waved his hand through the air, the appendage then landing back on his chest, and proudly proclaiming, "He's the heartless of yours truly."
The priest gave a small, humble smile; partially because he had guessed this guy's heartless had been Lea, and partially because this guy seemed so... interesting.
The Nobody then seemed to take a stroll down memory lane, the young girl looked like she was pondering about this man's outburst of how Lea was his Heartless.
Paul relaxed a little bit, exhaling and inhaling slowly, and then, as though it were contagious, Apollotin too began to try and think a little bit about what was going on.
"So my guess was right that Lea was this Nobody's heartless. That's great. However, if there is this Organization, and he is one of their members, then I have also just revealed that I know a lot more than I probably should."
That wasn't a pleasant thought; a group of these people, more than likely dangerous beings with untold power, coming after him because he said too much. The idea began to draw images in his mind of the priest being massacred, but he did his best to try and move onto a new subject; what was done had been done, and now it was up to the Fates to see what in the world was to happen.
But then the subject of the girl came to his mind; here she was, trying to convince this man to try and get him to try another way, other what he had already been trying, to get his heart back. Hopefully, though it did reveal what Paul had known, his speech had actually touched this man's... mind, and he might actually consider listening to the maiden.
Apollotin, lost in thought, came back to Earth as the firey haired man negotiated, turning away from the maiden, "Let's discuss the promise you made me."
The maestro gave a small and quiet, "Hm?!"
Had it worked? Had letting his presence be known instead of continuing eaves drop been the right decision?
The girl seemed to come back out of her trance too, and asked, stepping "Axel...Axel?"
So that was the mans name: Axel. Apollotin stored that information right in, but kept his mouth closed, hoping to hear the girls name as well.
The maiden continued, and questioned, “So you’re considering it? You maybe right…this can be pulling at straws, but I was able to call back Sora and I even retracted darkness in someone’s heart with my own light. The first I don’t know how I did it or if it would even work for you. The latter would be including your heart, which you know who holds on to it.”
This was all beginning to look like it would pan out well; but Apollotin knew that, for now, it would be best to keep on remaining silent, and wait for the proper moment to continue, hopefully, helping.
(Once again, so sorry, hope that's something you can play with ^.^"""""")
"The latter would be including your heart, which you know who holds on to it.”
He winced, face scrunching up. The reminder was a thorn in his side. "Don't remind me." ...Though he'd never really forgotten.
This could turn out really ugly. Kairi's uncertainty brought another crimson flag of wariness in his mind. His hands braced those tellingly thin hips, teal gaze looking at the sky for a moment. Just relax. Flexible thinking, remember?
His eyes turned back to the brunette he'd been bargaining with not long before, brow raising, torso leaning slightly, inquisitively, toward Kairi. One hand gestured outward; an unmistakeable characteristic of the Nobody.
"So uh. . . You got any other ideas?" Against the odds, the Flurry was hoping for a better suggestion. A trumpcard. . . Any at all, that meant he wouldn't have to stick with the Circus of In-betweeners, or lose is identity and merge with his uncouth Heartless.

"No, it's all I got. But...I know I can do it," she said standing straight, "If I was to cleanse Lea's heart and you know I can, then I can give the heart back to you. It would be a clean start, so you wouldn't be carrying the bad burden of what your Heartless was. It is your heart afterall; Lea is just what the dark side of you can be. He's just a shadow nothing more or less. I don't know if just...sticking it back in would make you less of a nobody or whole again, but it's worth a shot. At least then you can definately say your feelings are your own. You won't have to ponder if its real or not, because it wouldn't matter then."
"Even if sticking it back in may sound like a sticky-tap method, but if you're around me more maybe I can call you back altogether with your heart like I did Sora. I won't do it to Lea, since then...he would have to absorb you...rather than the other way around. Plus I don't know Lea, and I doubt I would like him as much as you," she playfully jabbed him in his side."
"Given what I am, I would do whatever it takes. I just I'm...not ready to handle any of those heartless. Yeah I learned a thing or two, but I don't think it would be enough to face them. Also I have no idea how they operate and what not, so charging in blindly would just be a suicide mission. I won't be any good like a life-less doll again or held captive."
"So what do you say?" Her hands rested on her hips with her brows arched waiting for an answer, "You've taken risks before...trying to get Roxas back, helping Sora...at least this time, this risk is purely for you."

It appeared that Axel was really giving some thought into this. However, he seemed rather uneasy about this idea. Something was eating him about the process of combining him and his heart again.
The unnamed girl mentioned it was the only plan she had... it must've been pretty black and white for how to combine the heart and body of a being back together. Appolotin himself knew nothing of the process, so he could only wonder how in the world this could work. But the girl seemed to be the key to solving the Nobody's problem...
She went on explaining some more, but Paul got a little lost... He only comprehended the name Sora, the word absorbing, the part when the girl playfully nudged Axel, something about a lifeless doll, and when she asked if he would be wiling to risk something for himself.
These two certainly shared a weird relationship. As he watched the duo, he so badly wanted to try and throw in his own opinion, but once again, something held him back... The time to talk was going to come soon enough.
Then, some thoughts struck Paul; "Wait a minute... What happens if he says yes? Will he tag along with her? And what's she mean by "Given what I am"? Is she not a human? It just seems wherever I turn, when I want questions answered, more of the darn things seem to pop up..."
So the priest remained silent still, almost able to feel that his time to speak would come soon enough...
That poke in his side caused his spine to curve, like a Cat trying to avoid being pet, but getting it anyway. "Heh heh!" the quiet reaction was playful. That little jab was a good attempt to curb the serious edge, but the Flurry wouldn't fall for it for long; after all, this was his existence they were so openly discussing.
Hands on his hips, he pondered for a split second. Even the knowledge of a Nobody was limited, and while Axel had learned a lot during his existence(s), there were still parts of his knowing that remained limited. And such things as the present circumstance always fueled his appetite to learn. "So... What you're telling me is... if we hang out together long enough, you'll gain some fairy dust magic, and just know how to put my Heart back together?"
This would still be taking a large step on a limb of faith and trust, and Number Eight wasn't quite sure he had it in his will to hand the keys of such things over to Kairi; not yet, anyway. However, hanging around each other, getting to know one another, sounded like a good idea; who was to say he wouldn't hand over his trust with time? "Digressing into a Dusk doesn't sound very appealing..."
But then again, how many opportunities to easily get his Heart back would fall into his lap somewhere down the line? He was betting this was a one in a bajillion chance; now, or never. This was one of those chances few would ever get; and here it had fallen right into his lap.
Nothing in this world came without a risk being staked somewhere down the line. And it was very likely he could be turned into a Dusk, by the cruel hand of the Organization if he ever stepped out of line, or by. . .
Black-clad fingers reached up behind that sea of red spikes, scratching at the back of his scalp, head tilting sideways and those eyes, having wandered toward the dark cobalt rocks, looked back at Kairi.
His mind had succumb to its final decision, arms crossing over his chest. A foolhardy glint slid into those sharp jade orbs. "So how long would it be 'til you're confident you can successfully dissect me?" His timid smirk of resolve was equally rash.
He was willing to do as Kairi had requested and hang out with her for as long as it took to ensure a clean reassembly. Convincingly playing a double-agent could grow harder with time, but if Axel could play outside of the rules for the sakes of Roxas, Xion and Sora, he was sure he could pull it off for himself as well.
