In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

“Apologies my butt, you just think you can take what you want without care, so you can take your apologies and shove it; you will never have my heart; I’ll promise you that.” For one who was so sweet and nice, her voice hissed like venom and her eyes held ferocity filled with disdain, disgust, and dislike. She held her keyblade out towards him, but a call reached her ears like a soft whisper.
Kairi…
A white cloud steeped from her charm taking form in front of her. The white bog of light stretched into a quadrupedal figure with hooves, while light stretched to form its antlers. Violet-blue eyes blinked see an ethereal stag standing before her, while it snorted at the heartless; it spoke to her.
It’s been a while child. Stay close to me.
The Princess of Heart’s eyes darted about unsure where it came or origin from; yes it spewed out of her necklace, but this never happened before and she had this thing for forever. Why didn’t this occur years ago when it would be most needed? Regardless who was she to deny help at this hour; there was a heartless, some kid siding with him, and some other guy who’s heart she couldn’t even feel. On that note, she knew no one here and hardly had anyone to trust. At least this stag had an air of familiarity about him as he stood proud like royalty before opening his mouth and sang a beautiful song, Holy Patronus, a song of light that shined brightly at the black phantom before her.
Before she can gaze at the light the deer was already prancing forward around the heartless; its shout in her head to move quickly with him made her snap out of it. She would wish to see how the other was doing, but should she risk it all? Crap
On her toes, she ran around the heartless and darted towards the deer that danced near the exit towards the Crystal Fissures. The sooner she left the sooner this world would be heavily guarded once she reached the other committee members.
A bit warily, Shudin turned around to see what was going on between Alkana and the Keybearer. Alkana had turned into some sort of.... phantom, while the Keybearer had summoned an etheral stag. Ien had told him to protect the Keybearer, but Shudin couldn't help but think that she'd be fine.... Besides... He needed Alkana, as crazy as it sounded to everyone else.
In any case, Ien didn't appear to be much of a threat at this point, and so, Shudin went after the Keybearer and Alkana, if only to keep an eye on what would happen.
Ienzo analyzed the situation carefully. Ruold was realizing that this wasn't a good idea... His attempts to capture her were becoming more thought-out, instead of a wild rush to take her away. Not that it would do any good... Kidnapping her would only bring the Keybladers to Ansem's doorstep. And that would NOT be good. So things were okay; he could breathe a sigh of relief. Not only was this a good situation for him in Radiant Garden, but it was an opportunity to see some more of Kairi's abilities. The most powerful Princess of Heart, she had unique abilities that others could only imagine of using.
The silver-eyed Heartless clung his jacket close, his black weapon vanishing from sight, and breathed slowly. Ruold... Be careful. We can't have you dying now.

((I severely apologize for my absence.))
This was absurd... never before had he seen such a guardian. Not only that, but its enchanted vocalization... rather, it was cursed, at least to him. It sounded like nails on a blackboard, and felt like nails on him, ripping the dark fabric of his being. It was unbearable. But, he reminded himself, this would be worth it, no doubt.
And to that end... he wouldn't let even the power of light get in his way.
I'm through with you.... You're mine!
Suddenly, the wind stopped blowing. Not even a pebble moved. Time stopped flowing. And this was his big break. He thought to himself, No matter. I may exhaust myself, but...! Suddenly-not that anyone would see it- countless Charades floated above the cliffside, and at his direction, they all swarmed at the Princess and her vile stag. As with before, he travelled to the girl; he grabbed at her with the intention of throwing her into his Corridor of Darkness. Likewise, he would send the still-unnamed boy to the same place. His territory.

((Alrighty... I'll be the godmode warg bishy staffie for you guys today. I've been keeping my eye on this thread on my occasional pop ins and I couldn't help but notice that the whole Ruold/Kairi cat-mouse chase has started to borderline iffy levels. In this case, Kairi's Comet's Holy Patronus was pretty much ignored by Ruold; a light technique, which is pretty much deadly to a Heartless. Sure, he unleashed his time limit break power, but seriously o.o I doubt it would be executed BEFORE the attack reached him; no future sight abilities of Ruold's stated anywhere o.o to have him predict the attack. Also, this goes to everyone, try not to say "x hit y with a wargbeam". Instead write "x rapidly approached y, intending to unleash their wargbeam to deal some serious damage" to give the other person >> a chance to react and possibly do something to avoid/shield/deflect the attack.))
((He may receive a defense buff from the Phantom form, BUT the attack is still light based. Light is like a dead-sentence to any creature made of purely Darkness, such as Heartless. Look at what happened to poor Ansem in KH I, if you need an example. Ruold merely brushed off the stag's attack and went on with his own attack; what I'm requesting is to show some reaction to the attack and treat the damage as it certainly was dealed. Perhaps that could have triggered his limit? And my apologies, I didn't read that ability when I wrote my previous post for some reason (I swear I went through it TWICE to make sure ; ))

Orbs of darkness impacted, the pair as time halted them in mid stride towards the Great Maw to leave the cliff. It wasn't until time resumed did the stag stumbled with the teen following suit. Luckily darkness hardly harmed her heart, she couldn't even produce a heartless with it, but the stag had suffered more than she had, since it was a mere sentient of light of the very world they dwelled in.
By the time ethereal white eyes could find its Princess, she was already grasped. He was stuck in a decision in regards to heal or pursue her himself. His ears turned with the ability to hear her inner voice and heart through the special bond they had. Despite her sluggishness, she wasn't ready to cave in; she would rather give it all she had. That's all the deer needed as the youth clenched to her keyblade tighter; he commenced to charge with light accumulating its frame.
Before he released her in flight, she swung her keyblade with all her might as Fantasy sparks dazzled from the tip. She could hear the popping of mana surging loudly even once landing in the Realm of Darkness. As Fantasy was released, Comet charged from behind that animal, the heartless; for the protection of the girl, he was more than inclined to deliver a kick full of light whether he was stunned by her sword or not. No one was going to take her away from him so easily; he was a force to be reckon with.
Rising from the misting void floor of darkness, Kairi could feel a shortage within her. The fuse to her light was cut off short for the time being, but it didn't stop her from running from the depths of darkness back towards the world she knew.
Ienzo panicked. It was all he could think, saving her from the Darkness. If this happened on his watch, Tifa would kick him out for sure.
That meant...
Ienzo ran forward and threw his hands down, opening a portal beside him. That portal... Cut directly in front of Kairi. She could escape with it, even if it meant showing his affiliations with the Darkness. The silver-eyed man threw one arm into the Darkness, solidifying the area between his fellow Heartless and the girl, then drew away. This would protect Ruold as well-
If that spectral creature got him, the Heartless was as good as dead. The being would pass right through Ienzo's portal as if it didn't exist, since it wasn't on the active end, and hit him. This black wall would at least take some of its stampeding wrath away, and Ienzo would be left with the excuse that he was saving a fellow member from death.
Meanwhile, Kairi would be safe, protected from the Darkness.
But now they know... Would they give him the benefit of a doubt? That was the question he needed to know. Hopefully Kairi wouldn't just stab him in his gut with that weapon of hers. If that event came to pass, he would at least have a strategy ready, even if it meant being weak after the battle.
One second, Shudin had been pursuing Alkana and the Keybearer. The next second, he found himself falling backwards into darkness. Huh? The young man landed on his back, and with a short grunt, he got to his feet, and looked at his surroundings.
Pitch black darkness surrounded him. He couldn't even make out the ground beneath him, aside from a black mist that rose to his ankles. This place felt a bit cold, and looked somewhat intimidating, and yet Shudin didn't feel afraid. Rather, a small bit of his heart seemed to like this place... Craved it, even.
"Is this... The realm of darkness?" he wondered. Before he could ponder any further, his eyes caught sight of the Keybearer and her stag up ahead, charging towards Alkana. The Keybearer, however, seemed to disappear through another portal, while the stag continued forward.
Shudin sighed as he drew his sword, and rushed for the stag. Yes, it may not have been the smartest decision. Yes, it may have unfavourable consequences later... But the young man needed Alkana, and if that meant attacking a creature of light, so be it.
The young man aimed to strike upward, diagonally, mostly using the momentum to do the work, and then using his strength to bring the blade back down to a blocking position in case of a counterattack.
