In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I would agree with the creation aspect, and seeing as the railways to get back and forth are magical, I would guess that they are, as well, artificial. In a general aspect, I think that if Yen Sid left (since he stayed there during BBS) it would mean a degradation of the tower... And I think that its destruction would be better than fighting Yen Sid, since his magic may as well be holding the thing up.
Maybe attacking the tower itself would drain the magician.
'Tis alright, Doogs. Your priority should be Rising Storm, anyway. -kicks-
I like that idea, Sinn.
Alrighty. Come what may and however the Heartless go about it, Yen Sid is inexorably linked to the Tower. I'll continue the attacks on each level for a bit (or just the one floor, depending on what the 'stranger' did there), but I think I have a better idea of where this is going now.
Just a heads up, current events in the Tower have been modified slightly, with the poofage of Seed.

Posted with Rook in Rising Storm. Not sure exactly how the Organization plans to frame the Dark XII for the job when next to no one knows who the Dark XII are, and they all look exactly the same as their counterparts for the most part. Why Sora doesn't just assume they are the Organization just the same as they used to be, or Riku can't sense that they aren't Heartless from their scent like he used to could in CoM is beyond me.
I'll have an Ansem post by tomorrow, with luck. Tumble goes the Tower.
Riku's met Ienzo, and learned of the Dark XII. He's scurried to the RGRUC and informed Yuffie/Merlin/Cloud, but apart from them, I don't know who else may know.
-shrug- It's a plot device. In all the commotion, I doubt Riku'd get a chance to understand much more outside of the fact that his home world's under attack, and the people responsible are calling themselves the Dark XII. Perhaps he'll realize something is up, maybe later when things have calmed. But in honesty, he'd likely assume they'd purposefully masked their aura.
Many of them aren't actually very similar to their counterparts. Even, for instance. Why that is is what's beyond me.

Jadis knows of Braig and Ansem, though I don't think Braig mentioned the Dark XII as a whole... *checks* Naaah. Just mentioned Ansem was his king and that there were "many more of them," but that can be taken in several ways.
Aside from previous points, I don't really think the Dark XII framing thing'll work...
Braig: But if it does, those kids'll finally meet the sexier halves~
.____. *shoves Braig in a box*
To note, I'm still around. More or less waiting for something to happen. Random guy popping up kind of confused me. But Braig'll be happy to play demolition with Yen Sid's Tower... so long as he at least gets a swing at the guy... Oh, Braig... .___. you and your addiction to challenges...
No... I didn't really announce it to anybody but Zepho. Don't feel dumb, I only put in slight spoilers. Now is your chance to figure out why you can smell his "heart".

Thanks, Sinn ^^
Also, I'm not quite sure what's going on. Braig, Dilan, and Even are all blinded, right? And something with a shadow... Are they unable to move or what? .____.
Uhm, if I understand correctly, I believe the darkness coating the floor was removed, and the portals are blocked. I'm not too sure on the blindness deal as far as how long it lasts.

It's temporary. I didn't put that because we're going in round, therefore it would last through the next round. I think. I dunno, the system seems a bit weird on that one. One round at most yo.

Funny I was sought out for approval of the post; I didn't. Heck I don't even approve of Ienzo being in that thread just to say he's elsewhere at the same time, yet we carry on.
