In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

o3o After ranting about what I distaste, its time to make me feel fluffy of what I loved/love.
Live- Action
Charmed I think this was the 1st tv show I followed especially from start to finish. It was quite a long commitment in following the lives of three sister witches dubbed the Charmed ones fighting demons.
Grey's Anatomy I'm still following this one, and so much happened that I just can describe it all. :/ It's a tv show about a hospital...shit happens.
Private Practice Made by the same producers of Grey's Anatomy, but just a smaller cast still dramatic.
Once Upon a Time I call it Disney outside the rated G realm (disney does own abc..so it's not that damn surprising), but...I genuinely love it. I make myself sit through the horrid ABC site just to keep up. Haaa so many lovely delicious feels, and yes <3 Rumplebelle, Evil Queen is a bish, but they make me...like her GAAAAH EMPATHYYY.
Ringer (got damned CANCELLED!) I actually liked this show, the tale of twin sisters where one, Siobhan is presumed dead disappearing from a boat outing with her recovering drug addict and former stripper twin Bridget. Bridget took Siobhan's identity since she was being hunted down by a renowned gangsta because she's the sole witness of a murder he committed. While playing in this masquerade, she finds out that her sister was in deeper shit than she was, because someones out to kill Siobhan as well; now she's trying to find out who was out to kill her sister, while not knowing that her sister is still alive in Paris waiting for Bridget to die in her place.
o3o It have lovely plot twists and kept enough information out of reach to make you keep watching. I know some people were confused if they didn't follow it religiously, because after a while you're following both twin.
Unfortunately it got cancelled so I'll never know the answers to the open-ended question.
Switched at Birth o3o The plot is in the title the lives of 2 families after learning..what 16 yrs later that their daughters were switched at birth. I LIKES IT.
EmmetxBay for liiife.
Grimm ABC is on their fairytale kick and made Grimm, a story of a police officer who learned he's a Grimm, people who can see the mythical monsters that inspired the Grimm tales while others can't.
Supernatural I used to watch this...but I missed enough that I stopped following but I will catch an episode or two on TNT when its on.
Games of Thrones Enough said....someone fucking kill Joeffery already...that is all.
<3 Arya
Trublood Yay a show about vampires, werewolves, were panthers, uum fairies, maneaids, necromancers, and other mythical peeps. I call it the antithesis of Twilight. Vampires came out of their crypts (out of the closet) to humanity and our co-existing living off of Trublood, a synthetic blood for them to drink instead of people, so you have that, your typical nymph blood drink vampires, your religious vampire hating cults, etc. o3o Lots of shiz goes down in Bon Temps, Louisana, and every season have its own conflict.
The Newsroom It's a new show on HBO showing the on-goings of a news cast, and they do use actual stories such as: voting suppression for the elderly, the assassination of Bin Ladin, etc.
Any Law and Order on the sun alongside other cop tv shows: The Closer Rissoli and Isles NCIS
Cartoons
I shall ring the nostalgia bell
Nick The Wild Thornberries The Rugrats As Told By Ginger Doug Ren and Stimpy Are you Scared of the Dark? Fairy Odd Parents
Cartoon Network Powerpuff Girls Courage the Cowardly Doug Scooby Doo Samurai Jack Teen Titans Johnny Bravo Foster's House of Imaginary Friends Kids Next Door Dexter's Lab DBZ (when it wasn't re-aired and continuously returning like herpes) Code Lyoko Thunder Cats (The newer one looks lovely, but I missed soooo many episodes!)
Disney Goof Troop Tail Spin Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers Gargoyles...gargoyles....gargoyles
Anime =3= oh boy
Sailor Moon (I can't watch THAT anymore...I just CAAANT) Inuyasha (Nope I can't watch that again either) Rouroni Kenshin Zoids Gundam Wolf's Rain Cowboy Bebop Princess Tutu Ouran High Fruits Basket Samurai Champloo Hetalia Romeo x Juliet Highschool of the Dead Angel Beats (=3= does have plot flaws)
CURRENT SHEET!
Avatar: The Last Airbender Legend of Korra
o3o I don't think they are anymore current cartoons I like...like that. It's sad.
ehhh i'm just going to talk about the shows that i like r/n (or have watched recently). nostalgia's good and all that, but Ellie p much covered everything. also I don't watch many shows at all (basically cartoons) so yeah.
Adventure Time - oh my GLOB I love this show!! it's so adorable and weird and gross sometimes and it actually has a lot of integrity compared to other cartoons. Like the episode "Princess Cookie" is all about being trans* positive, and there's implied *~LESBIANS~* with Marceline and Bubblegum (as somebody who is not straight, it's incredibly gratifying to see that sort of bold implication, and needless to say I'd ship them in hell).
Avatar: The Last Airbender - I'm not going to spend too much time on this one because I will rant forever, but Avatar is my favorite show in existence and I rewatch the entire series like once a year. (I still can't believe it ended in, like, 2007.)
Legend of Korra - I like the sequel series, honestly I do. I like most of the characters and plot lines... I just have a lot of problems with it too, problems that I won't go into. However it's still an exceptional show.
Gravity Falls - cute show with a great introduction and a spooky air and two adorable kids (Dipper and Mabel). it's not the most intelligent of shows, but it's a lot better than most of Disney's bs and I think it's super great.
and, because I watched it recently - despite it being old - Danny Phantom. god I love that show.
It takes a bit for an American cartoon to appeal to me, and when one does it is mostly due to intelligence and story. Most forms of humor in that genre never really did it for me, which is partly why Homestuck (web comic but still) and Adventure Time aren't on my priority list of things to catch up on.
As for Live Action:
Homeland - brilliant. And I loved Claire Danes from Stardust so I was biased to begin with. Once Upon a Time - falls short of being anything near a masterpiece, and some supporting acting misses the mark a bit, but I enjoy it anyway. xD Especially the first season. Many of the writing team worked on Lost and definitely threw me for a loop in some places. Game of Thrones - read the first two books before watching the series. The HBO adaptation is truly brilliant. That opening, my goodness. But er, kiddies that lied about their age when they signed up with Proboards probably ought to stay away from this one for a few years.
I remember Charmed. . . it was more something that I watched with friends for fun though, I never truly got into it. xD The effects were just too funny.
Anime;
Fullmetal Alchemist Baccano! Wolf's Rain Scrapped Princess, Rurouni Kenshin, and Inuyasha, which were amazing back when I watched them but now stand among my favorites for the nostalgia factor. When Final Act came out after years of waiting it was like a blast from the past. xD Bleach, exclusively the Soul Society and early Espada arcs. Cut a couple hundred eps or so and you're not missing much.
*edit*
A friend suggested to me last week to watch Supernatural. I saw that Rook watches it, anyone wanna tell me about that?

Oh, are we including Homestuck as a TV show now? Might as well, it's already a web comic/video game/online book/collection of short videos.
btw, Zepho, Adventure Time and Homestuck are both really intelligent things. Sure, they've got a lot of humor, but... the two aren't mutually exclusive. But yeah, that stuff's not exactly to everybody's tastes, which is totes fine. Homestuck can be a huge sobfest a lot of the time, and then just change it around and be really weird and dark humor, and then go back to being lighthearted and goofy. idk. something about your comment made me think that all you thought those two particular things have to offer is humor, and being i really like those two things, I know that's not the case. owo but also to each his own!
(like for instance i kind of have a prejudice against a lot of anime and find most of it to be tasteless and not funny and the spawn of weaboos - but then I realized that there is SO MUCH ANIME OUT THERE, and that while I might never like it, I can hardly judge it based on those few assumptions...)
I already put my disclaimer on Homestuck, not counting it as a show but figured I should mention it anyway.
I also said nothing in form of it and AT not having intelligence. If they hadn't I wouldn't have read as nearly as far as I did or watched as nearly as many hours with some of my more ardent friends. But for all those pages and episodes I just came to the conclusion it isn't my thing. -shrug- There was too much that bored me. Too much of the cruder humor detracted from the story's heart. It's also a deal of me as a storylover preferring most other genres over comedy (not saying I don't love funny and satirical things - I just prefer it augmenting a show instead of being a driving goal of it).
Since I've always preferred the more mature, I think MLP would be the same deal for me, but I never did give the ponies much of a chance. xD

yeah i saw the disclaimer, i was makin a joke. ouo we should totes count homestuck as a tv show anyways ahaha
anyways yeah i get what you mean zepho. i've watched a little mlp and i can't stand it personally. its humor is obnoxious and its heart is predictable and awkwardly sentimental. eh i don't like it much. frankly i'm with you - i watch shows for their intelligence over humor. the humor of homestuck and adventure time really works well for me as well as the intelligence, and that's defs not the case for everybody! and i can respect that stuff not being your thing. <3
