Name:Asea Kichiro
Age:16
Gender:Female
Species:Human
Position:Asea is more neutral than good or evil, but it depends on her mood. She believes that she stands in the darkness, but in truth she stand in twilight.
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills:She has taken martial arts classes, to be stronger, and to protect what matters most to her. She is small and lithe, which helps.
Picture:
Appearance:Her raven hair is cut short to a little lower than her shoulders, and is naturally straight. She has deep blue eyes, which observe and analyze the world, which gives her a deadly and daring appearance. She is small boned, stands at four feet eleven inches tall, and weighs eighty-six pounds. Her martial arts training has increased her strength and she is not as weak as she appears to be.
She often wears dressy white or dark colored camisoles, worn underneath an unzipped hoodie. She likes to change hoodies almost everyday and she is known by the signature hoodies she wears. She wears baggy skinny-jeans, as she is uncomfortable when they are tight, and her favorite pair of black combat boots. She doesn't like to wear sandals, as she is self-conscious about her abnormally larger big toes. She wears her clothes with confidence and seems as if she will step on anyone who gets in her way. On bad days, her stance appears menacing and intimidating, though on good days she is bouncing around as if she is on top of the world(s).
Personality:Asea is more laid-back than hyper. She is calm in hectic situations, but doesn't always know what to do. On her happy days, she enjoys everything as much as she is able to, but happy days are rare. She is easily irritated, although she can hold it back. Asea looks at life as if it only wants to make everything harder for her, so she often feels responsible for many mistakes, even if she didn't cause them. Taking care of other people's messes caused her to be very responsible for her young age, and she doesn't need anyone to watch over her, so she lives alone in an apartment that her adult friend graciously lets her abide in. She feels a little protective over what she has because she is afraid she will lose everything again. Asea cares about her friends and will do everything she can for them.
When she is left alone, she thinks about her lost family and what she could've done to save them, and also what she didn't do. She feels guilty for being the only remaining being in her family and by surviving the Unversed attacks at Radiant Gardens when her other family members did not. Carrying around this guilt has made her an easy target for the darkness to consume. She is strong-willed, but even strong-willed people have a weakness. Because she couldn't protect her family at Radiant Gardens, she practices martial arts to become stronger and braver, so she will be able to protect those she cares about. She feels at peace when she does it, and dares the day when she must use it to arrive.
Daringly and confidently, she continues her life, swerving every obstacle she confronts. Getting a good rest makes her confident and happy, but she assumes that a good rest is fourteen to sixteen hours of sleep each day. She often resembles a cat with her irritated attitude and her sleeping hours. She doesn't like any air blowing on her face: ie; from fans, the wind, ect. Her favorite color is black and she believes it is the color of her soul. She has a fondness of Potstickers and Pocky.
She becomes annoyed when anyone teases her or makes fun of her because of her size.
Original World:Radiant Gardens
Current World:Traverse Town
History:A girl could only dream of being happier than Asea felt when she was younger. Her parents loved her dearly and her twin brother, Lido, would always keep her company. She grew up in a beautiful yellow house in Radiant Gardens. A yellow house might have seemed odd, but it fit right in with the bright colors of the flower garden surrounding it. Asea loved to water and take care of the flowers with her mother. Sometimes Lido would help them, but he got hay fever from the pollen. Wanting to be a loving sister, she would always take a break from gardening and play with her him. Lido was the one person she trusted with all her secrets, and they went through everything together. They would have 'sleepovers' in each others bedrooms, always play with each other, and cause mischief together. Whenever Asea would have a nightmare, she would walk to Lido's room and sleep with him; she was never afraid with him around. She truly loved him (in a strong sibling way), but never had the courage to say it face-to-face with him. Asea and Lido thought they didn't need friends, as long as they had each other. That was all she needed to be happy.
Sadly, her happiness ended with a blink. One moment the air was clear, the next moment it was fulled with monsters of darkness. Swarms of Unversed converged on Radiant Gardens, determined to desroy it, and leave it to the mercy of the darkness. Asea couldn't protect her family, as she was only about seven years of age, and she felt utterly helpless. One of the adults that was sane had to pull her away from her family's bodies, to bring her to Traverse Town. Because of her horrifying experience, she is scarred and vengeful.
Determined to re-build her shadow of a life, she moved into an apartment that her friend graciously let her stay in. She wasn't used to having friends, and began a life of solitude. Also addressing vitals that her new life would need, she signed up for Martial Arts classes, and learned quickly because she had a reason. She often found herself reminiscing about the memories before the attack. Unfortunately, after she started her new life, the nightmare started. A vivid memory of what happened the night the Unversed attacked, repeating every night, the only thing blocking her goal of a new life.
Role Playing Sample:'I wonder if Lido wants to play cards,' the little girl thought, fingering her newly bought deck. It was kind of overcast, with clouds filling the sky. Asea sighed in disappointed content; they at least could still play inside. Her house was now in full view, the beautiful yellow contrasting with the grey sky. Then she blinked. That wretched blink that seemed to have destroyed her little life. Dark blue shadows that weren't there before covered the ground. Asea looked towards the sky making out little blue figures. Instantly she knew they were unversed. She had never seen one before, but they were rumored to be spawns of the devil.
The unversed descended onto every building in sight, slicing and consuming everything in it's way. Only when she saw it, did Asea realize that included her own home, her own family! Asea gave a loud scream to warn her family, but it was overruled by the other screams of citizens. She ran as fast as she could to the yellow house, tears streaming down her face. Her brother, her mother, her father; the faces and memories of her loved ones filled her mind. She forcefully choked down the tears, and urged herself to run faster and faster. As she neared the house, she saw the despicable unversed ascend from the house, as if saying that their business there was done. She bolted in the front door of her childhood dwelling, screaming for her family. "Papa! Mama! Lido!" She entered the living room and found her parents, huddled together on the floor. Running them, she hugged them tightly, relieved that they were safe and unharmed. What she didn't know, was why the Unversed had left. As she hugged them, she reached for Lido's hand to hold it, expecting her twin's soft warm touch, but was met with cold dead skin. The tears quickly returned. "Lido, don't leave me alone! Don't go! Mama, Papa! Her body convulsed with sobs. She clung to her brother's dead hand, determined to not let go. She might as well stay there and die with them.

Soon, Asea felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up with tired swollen red eyes at her neighbors husband. "Asea, we have to go." His soft voice helped only a bit to comfort her, but couldn't take away the pain in her heart.
"Then go ahead. Leave me here where I belong."
She soon felt arms around her waist, gently pulling her away from her family, except her hand, which still clung to Lido's. Her neighbor slowly tried to peel her hand away, but she only clung tighter. "No! I won't leave them!" She screamed, trying to kick away. Soon he managed to peel her hand away from her brother, and he carried her out her family's view. As she was carried away from her dear golden house, Asea let out a last heart-wrenching scream.
She bolted up in her bed, the scream fresh on her lips. Asea took in her surrounding and remembered it was ten years later. It was also ten years after the last time she cried.
