Welcome to Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny! We are an AU Kingdom Hearts RP with no word count. World Destiny's story takes place post Dream Drop Distance, at which point we make considerable steps in our own story direction. Feel free to check out the Plot link to find out more!
All guests are welcome to drop in and say hi!
Nightfall: Chapter 2
Two years after the events of Dream Drop Distance, the Darkness became so great that it swallowed the worlds, locking them away within its merciless abyss.
Twilight Town, now covered in eternal night, stands as one of last Sanctuaries of Light. It is where players begin their journey.
Ever resourceful, the Moogles have created a safe place for refugees. They have charged the Denizens of Light with finding Castle Oblivion: it holds a key to the puzzle of the lost worlds.
But within the dark shadows of the sanctuary world a powerful dark force still looms, waiting to strike.
Each survivor must choose whether to go to Castle Oblivion or stay behind to protect the world from the dragon that lurks in the shadows.

Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny is a literate text-based Role Playing Game (RPG), looking to open our doors to all who desire to RP in a friendly, Kingdom Hearts-loving community. The content in this site can easily reach PG 13 and sometimes (only in very special cases) reach levels of adult/mature nature regarding Violence and Cursing only. Please keep this in mind. While that is the case, we don't want to see R-rated amounts of gore.
World Destiny operates on a warnings policy. When you break a rule, you get a warning from a staff member in the form of a Private Message (PM) telling why you have been warned. If you want, you can appeal via PM to the staff member who sent you the warning. However, we are usually lenient in giving warnings, so when you get one it is well deserved 9 times out of 10.
If you get 3 warnings, you are banned for a week.
After that week ban, you will be given another chance to play.
We are lenient and will not give you a warning for one small mistake that you make. All we ask is that you do your best to communicate clearly and politely. As will we.
1) No Spamming!
This is a big rule, and it covers: - Posting pointless in-character replies just to up your count, - Posting meaningless replies/topics (not including the games section, where that sort of silliness is intended.) - Repeated double posting (remember, you can edit and delete your own posts if you accidentally double-post!) - Consistently poor spelling/grammar that could have been easily avoided (ie: No periods, commas or paragraph breaks.)
2) No Discrimination
This covers: - Racism - Sexism - Religious hatred - Personal flaming These are all looked on as being very serious. You wouldn't use racist language in real life, so do not use it online.
3) 18+ or Illegal Links/Images
Do not post images of an illegal or explicit nature on World Destiny. The rules are lax, but we do not want to see any adult images or links to adult sites on here. If you want to tell people about something funny you found that is a bit risky then link to it and make it clear in your post that it is not work safe or could be explicit.
The last thing we want is a member grounded from using the computer because he clicked on the wrong topic while their parent was in the room.
4) No Member Bashing
If you have an issue with another member, please try to settle things calmly and politely. We do not want to give or take offense here. Please, just work to get along.
5) No Staff Bashing
We staff members get no payment for our labors looking out for the boards, and as such we kindly ask you for respect, as you can be sure we will also give it to you. We are not gods, we make mistakes too. So please be kind.
6) No Mini-Modding
If a member spams, double posts, bumps or breaks any of the above or below rules, do not post anything about it or anything that will make you look like a moderator. It is the mods' job to handle these things. However, if you wish to advise us about it, feel free to drop us a PM. We're not always looking and we can easily miss something that may be upsetting you.
7) Cursing/Violence Levels
It's okay for characters to swear and curse at each other, but make sure it stays in-character, and please keep it limited.
About cursing Out of Character (OOC), don't curse at one another. If you're saying something about a particular topic, or it's just part of your speech, that's fine, but no direct attacks.
1) No god-modding. Basically, don't play someone else's character, and you cannot decide if an attack you throw connects to the other person. You may say your character swung their sword at another character's shoulder. Whether or not the attack lands, and how hard it hits, are variables which are up to the receiving RPer to portray.
2) Characters can die, and by creating a character you acknowledge that it can be killed. You may rule your character to die if you so choose. However, if you really want to save them, we'll help you. It's no fun to put all that work into a character only to face a point where he/she could die.
However, we hope that you will think about your character's choices and battles, and what the turnout could look like.
By dropping the thread, you may forfeit your character, as you are no longer around to save it.
If you really don’t want your character to wind up dying: a: don’t have them jump face-first into a situation where there is no way out, b: come up with a plausible means by which they may escape death. This may involve other RPers to help save yours.
3) Do not argue with a mod's ruling in a thread. If you think it unfair, you may appeal for a second opinion, but you may not simply argue. The issue will be resolved by the mods.
4) As a general rule, recurring NPCs and Canon Characters with no RPer will be played by the moderation team. Exceptions must be given permission by the mods first.
The rule is basically outlining Canon characters who might be needed for the execution of a particular plot idea. This does not mean you cannot drop NPCs into your thread! If you are playing a character working at a diner, you may take creative liberty with any average pedestrian, co-worker, boss, etc.
FINALLY: DON'T BE AFRAID TO START THREADS. =] If you have an idea for a discussion topic, serious or not, please start a topic about it! Just make sure it is in the right forum and does not break any of the above rules (which is amazingly easy) and you are all set.
If you are not sure, send a PM (private message) to a staff member. We will help in any way we can.
