In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(Ok. I dont have a problem with Randall knowing what she looks like from a story he MIGHT have heard while traveling around. Just dont dont make it to were he knows her inside and out.) (I be happy now)
Too much defense, not enough offense, Rook thought as his arm recoiled from the Guard Light, "C'mon! We need to do more damage!" He rose to his feet and began charging forward at the Nobody with the pink hair, before his eyes went wide and he let one leg go out from under him. It all appeared as slowmotion for him, as he lurched sideways in midstride, just moving quick enough to catch the sight of the scythe spinning in the air over him, mercilessly slicing through the open air.
He landed hard on his back and rolled to his knees, facing the way he came as the Nobody reappeared. "Let's go, guys! We didn't get recruited by royalty just to let him down!" The one thing Rook hated more than losing a fight was losing a cause he was fighting for. He charged again, BlackJack keyblade reappearing in a shimmering display as he closed the gap between he and Marluxia. He skipped into the air and swung the Keyblade hard at his target, striking for the chest.
((Ok, so from reading very quickly, I think I know whats going on but not really...are Zedd, 627, Fearon, and Ryu maybe still in the hall? Fighting Large Bodies? Just making sure...OK, so...here goes!))
As the fight had went on, Zedd had already cast quite a few spells, so he was getting kind of tired. So, he decided that it was time to bring on some physical attacks. As Zedd ran toward the Large Body, his staff quickly changed into a sword. As he neared the Large Body, he jumped up, landed on the stomach of the Large Body, and flipped over the Large Body's head, and slashed at it's back as he landed on the ground. As the Large Body was turning, he turned with it, slashed a few more times, and the heartless was quickly disposed of.
Now, it was time to deal with the red thing (627) that seemed to like saying "Evil". It was a quite weird, and seemed to be...well...Evil, so, Zedd turned to it, and rushed it, sword held high. As he approached this thing, he swung at it's little body, hoping to catch it in the torso.
((Sorry for not having posted in a really long time!))
Question for Bluey: As Historian-- what do I do about Sora? As stated by Aryn, I believe she's just finishing up the threads that she's actually in-- and I know that I have little to no muse for that particular character (though, I can definitely try my best). I mean, playing all three, Riku, Sora and Kairi is... well... a little... odd.... >>
Also... going by assumptions here, since Aryn didn't post anymore to the other thread. I know Kairi knows-- so, she's most likely went out to find Riku and Sora to tell them. So again... assumptions on my part since the other thread where they were to find out ended muddily.
[Kairi]
Kairi had hurried to get to Sora and Riku as fast as she could. Luckily, they had already been on their way to getting to where it was that the group upon the beach was. Good, that made things just sail along a lot smoother and faster. However... it wasn't just her two childhood friends that she had run into-- but that fire user girl that had been found on the Destiny Islands one night a couple of nights ago.
The redhead knew of Ikari's will to help out Sora and the other KeyBearers with whatever it was that was going on, but was hesitant to be telling Riku and Sora what was going on with her around. She eventually did after realizing just how determined the fire user was on assisting them in any way that she could.
Now standing out in the King's home world, she just saw what chaos was taking over. Heartless just about everywhere and thick vines with thorns making their way in and around the castle. The works of Maleficent, no doubt. The Heartless seemed to be thick in numbers as well. It was no question if Kairi summoned her KeyBlade-- because she had upon seeing the state in which the castle was in.
[Riku]
After hearing everything that was going on from Kairi, Riku had wanted to get to the castle quickly. Mickey wasn't just a King... Mickey was a good friend to Riku's, and he wanted help out. However, being the person that the silver-haired teen was, he was very calm about the situation, refusing to let emotions get the better of him. He liked to consider himself a leader... and a leader wasn't going to panic at every little detail that was being relayed to him.
One thing that did bother Riku a bit was the fact that the Spitfire had been there when Kairi came up and found both him and Sora. He disliked the fact that she had been rather nosy at the time, though... now that he thought about it, hearing what was going on from Kairi, Mickey could have most likely used as much help as he could get. The Spitfire must have been relatively happy-- after all, she did seem like someone who got a certain kick out of fights.
Having appeared into the King's world, Riku stood beside Kairi, noting the fact that she had her KeyBlade summoned. Looking back to the mess that had been caused, Riku was actually glad that they had agreed on allowing Ikari to help them with this battle. Though... he couldn't help but worry a little. There was something about allowing her to be there in the battle that bothered him. A lot of what was going through his mind was the fact that he really didn't want her getting hurt in something that she originally had no intention in being part of when he had first met her.
Narrowing his eyes at the thorns that seemed to have consumed the castle grounds, Riku's Way to the Dawn had been summoned in his right hand grasp. He was definitely going to be fighting, there was no doubt about that-- in fact, he had to raise Dawn to a Knight Heartless that decided to make it's presence known and fended it off rather quickly. Mentally, he was thanking the wooden-sword fights that he and Sora would always have back on the Islands.
[Ikari]
Alright, so battles, Heartless and being able to kick butt! That sounded really fun... especially after being on those peaceful islands for so long. The only real fighting that the raven-haired girl got was the bickering that she did often with Riku. However... even that began to subside over time, and now they were more of buddies than they had been when she had first appeared on the Islands that one night.
She was glad, though.... Ikari had been able to learn about more of what was going on, and the reason for the Heartless and Nobodies that plagued a lot of the worlds. Knowing of those things that made them up, Ikari was determined-- more so as a friend than anything else-- to aid Sora, Riku and Kairi in any way that she could. It seemed that she was finally being able to do so as she stood upon the grassy ground that surrounded a castle.
This was the great place in which King Mickey resided, was it? Looked like the gardener got lazy, letting all those thorns sprout all over the place. However, Ikari knew that that wasn't the case. However, that didn't mean that she particularly knew why everything was going on in the first place, either. All she knew was that her help was appreciated and she got to come along.
Unsheathing the obsidian and ruby coloured blade, Ikari held it at the ready. It seemed that the Heartless that were summoned into this world were targeting anything and everything, as Riku had just fended one off.
Ugh... just... what were they just standing there for? Observation? Perhaps... though nothing was going to get done if they didn't take action. Or perhaps they were waiting for Sora so that he could see this scene for himself? Who knew. Sora was a friend of theirs after all, and leaving him behind would have been... well... funny (in a sense) and relatively dumb. Sora had a bigger role to play with the worlds than she or the others, it seemed.
627 stopped running in his tracks, as he saw the blonde-head human rush after him. "Hahaha! Taka Evil!" The little red alien snickered. What a foolish human. He thinks that a mere mortal sword is enough to take down the ultimate evil? All these losers will have to learn about life .... the hard way ..... 627 quickly sprouted out an extra left arm from his torso and hastily snatched the kid's blade (Zedd). It was an unwise move, as the sword managed to bury its side into 627's hand, leaving a nasty scar. The red alien cringed at the pain, but quickly managed to wipe it away with a fiendish grin.
"GWAHA! Evil!" 627 pushed the blade away from himself with ease and pounced a few feet away from Zedd with another gurgling laugh. He then sprouted out an extra arm and all four of his arms flipped off the group of humans! What a bunch of losers! His chortle was cut short however, when a huge green fireball spewed out of the thorns. It exploded into 627, knocking him back a few feet. The red devil slowly stood up, his red fur singed. He growled when he saw the thorny walls fire out more green flames .....

[Technically, Ryu, Fearon, and Marluxia have all been skipped and it's Bluey's turn. Come on guys, don't let this thread die. Bluey's turn ends tonight at 7:52 PM EST And then it's my turn to post.]
Post by Jason Arilani on May 18, 2009 23:21:46 GMT -4
[O.O? Umm... Okay? I don't have time to post tonight, but I will remake the posting order. It will depend on who posts before I post again. After I post, there will be either 3 or 5 days. after that, I will post again, and whoever posted will be those that are in it. I will edit this tomorrow to include my post]
Um, I just wanna make sure we all know this. Doogie and Fearon are both in the RP academy. Meaning they've been taken out of all of their respective RPGs until further notice. MEaning we won't see them for .... I don't know.
Anyways, I'm confused about this new plan. So, right now, there is no posting order? Meaning, we all post once in any order? Then when your next post comes up, we're using that new post order?
Post by Jason Arilani on May 20, 2009 0:32:38 GMT -4
[Yeah, Doogie and Fearon are in the RP academy and cannot RP until their instructor says their RP abilities are up to par. So Just continue to keep them in mind. Zedd, Fearon, and Ela are in the hall outside of the Throne room.
As for the new plan, yes. I will be posting now. You all will have until Saturday to post. On saturday, possibly in the afternoon EST, I will be posting again with a new posting order. Before I post on Saturday, those that wish to continue in this thread have to post in no specific order, but must keep in mind what is going on. Those who do not post (With the exception of Fearon and Doogie are not in the posting order.
The IIC date of 1 day still stands. IF someone misses the IIC date 2 times in a row, then they are pulled out of the posting order until they post again. I also ask that no JUST OOC posts are made. If you have a problem with a post, please PM the person. You may post saying that a PM was sent and that your post is on hold at the moment. But do not post again with your post. Edit your previous post, or delete it and re-post your actual post. I just want to limit the amount OOC posts in here. If it is absolutely necessary, then fine. But I just want to try to limit it.]
Things were going perfectly, or so Maleficent had hoped. Marluxia aided her even more as few aimed any attacks toward her. Granted, one person [Mikael] decided to start coming at her. Raising her staff, Maleficent said "Meteors of destruction, Unleash my fury!"[/color] Just then, two large portals of darkness launched out large meteors toward the man [Mikael], and did so in 3 waves. And even if he would dodge, they would continue on to anyone behind him.
In the event that he made it past her, she would raise a wall of green fire in front of her as it would start to unleash the same green fireballs in his direction, and much more concentrated. If he continued to come toward her, she would come up with something for it later on. For now, she would have to figure this out just right.
Maverick cant control the direction he heads in during his Larch Dance by much. And that flaw made it so he was not able to dodge the oncoming laser attack. Each laser that hit only slowed him down until he stopped completely.
"Come on. Got to think of something....wait thats it" Maverick exclaimed as he thought of a plan. Concentrating his energy to his bones in his arms, Maverick made a thick layer of bone grow on the top of his arms as he put them in an X shape. Not the best defensive position, but when you have a thick layer of harder then tempered steel bone covering your arm, its the best you can do.
The beams continued firing at Maverick causing him to somewhat fall to the ground. However the beams were starting to weaken Mavericks shield.
"I can use some help over here!" Maverick yelled as he tried his best to not falter from his position on the ground. --------------------------------
So it seems that this keyblader his not an amateur after all. No matter. His technique lacked style and experience. Giving a slight chuckle Marluxia's eyes quickly spotted a child (Mikael) running towards Maleficent. Though it seemed like the Witch will take care of this weakling herself.
"Tell me child. Why do you fight for a lost cause?" Marluxia asked as he flicked his fingers and his scythe returned to his hands. Swinging it upward Marluxia entered a deadlock with Rook.
" You'll need more skill then that if you want to destroy me" Marluxia said mockingly as he lifted his free hand and used his Flower Tornado attack. Wind and razor sharp rose petals formed around his forearm and shot to-wards Rook.
(Randall has nothing to react to this turn, so I won't post as him)
As the black haired teenager prepared to attack the pale witch (Maleficent), the man in the black coat (Marluxia) fought with the keyblade weilder (Rook) and the other boy (Maverick). Mikael still thought that the pink haired man had a weird taste for his attacks, but he tried not to be distracted by his style that much.
"Meteors of destruction, Unleash my fury!"
The witch had seen him, and before Mikael could stop running, two black portals, similar to the one King Mickey had opened at the islands, were summoned to launch large meteors at him. But the fire elementalist wasn't weak, and he managed to dodge the first attack of the witch. But right before the teenager could raise his swords, when he was very close to her location, a wall of fire appeared in front of the witch to protect her. The first thing Mikael thought of was Lava Font, but he remembere it didn't work well indoors.
"I can use some help over here!"
The red haired boy (Maverick) was having a hard time with the roses and the lasers; his shield was about to break. "Hang in there!" Mikael shouted as he ran towards the roses. When he was close enough, he jumped; the twin sai still coated with bright blue fire. The flowers were sliced in half by the swords, and in that moment they would be probably burning. "Cura! he said, casting a green aura on the boy (Maverick).
((Posting, as I am unsure the order now, and it's been a while, timewise.))
"Tell me child. Why do you fight for a lost cause?"
Rook pushed back against the scythe with the BlackJack, looking him dead in the eyes and letting out a grunt of effort as he held one hand over the length of the bladehead and pushed forward with his foot, evening himself out in the weapons-lock.
"Ngh... what better causes... are there to fight for!?"
"You'll need more skill then that if you want to destroy me."
Rook would be the first to admit he knew little about his weapon, let alone how to use it. He wielded it more as a bludgeoning tool than anything else. But the Nobody was right. It was time for Rook to do what he did best: Improvise.
He fell backwards as the petals burst forth at him, narrowly avoiding taking them in the face as opposed to his chest. The BlackJack unsummoned, vanishing in a pulse of light, and Rook held his hands up over his head and along the ground.
"Guard Light!" The bright light fired from his hands again, its force propelling him along the marble floor of the Hall, and Rook made a hard kick at Marluxia's knees as he closed the distance. He'd have to play keepaway with those rose petals if he wanted to get out of this, but grounding his pink-haired enemy seemed like a decent Plan-B.

[Thats just it Rook... There is no posting order right now. I'm doing this to re-do the posting order since so few people were posting. I'm extending the date to sometime on Sunday that I will post. The posting order will be made at that point. Anyone still in the thread can post right now.]
