Thread Timeline/Synopsis:Opening Gambit- Rook, for the first time in nearly 5 years, heads to the hub of Radiant Garden, and finds himself stuck in a conflict between Jason The Nobody and the Restoration Committee, and is forced to choose an unlikely side with Jason, defying the powers-that-be on his own homeworld in order to do the right thing in saving him.
Rook's Help- After aiding Jason, the Nobody helps show Rook his possible destiny, and helps him confront his deepest fear: The Darkside Heartless which haunted his past. With the keys to his own future possible revealed, Rook continues onward solo.
Stormy Night- Traveling off his homeworld for the first time, Rook finds Destiny Islands and a girl named Kairi caught out in a torrential downpour. Together, they salvage a boat and he helps to escort her home.
Warm By The Fire- Rook helps get Kairi safely home, and the two learn about one another. Rook gives Kairi his King of Hearts card to remember him by before leaving, but not before Kairi gives him an innocent kiss, with Rook promising to return one day to check in on her.
Outside Looking In- Back on Radiant Garden, Laurel, a girl from Rook's past, returns and the two struggle to understand one another after a traumatic and treacherous past, wherein Laurel stole everything Rook had, and left him to starve to death.
Early Morning Innocence- Laurel, now living with Rook, attempts to get back into his good graces, despite the fact that Rook is not inclined to let her.
Welcome To Port Royal- Rook finds a stranger new World, and a sky-pirate by the name of Ren. After warding off a few Heartless, the two talk, and, after a bit of teasing, he begins to call her his 'sister' as a form of running gag. The two part ways, promising to see one another again.
Treat? I'd Rather Trick! In Halloweentown, Rook meets Ikari, a kindred spirit and fellow wanderer. With the World providing them with altered forms, Rook fears that she will not be able to remember him once they part ways.
Garden Phobia- Rook, on one of his rare trips into town, enounters Leon of the RGRUC, whom his last encounter with was less than pleasant. After a bit of conversation, Rook's views on "city life" begin to reform, and he decides to attempt to become a better member of his community, whether he resides in it or not.
Deeper Still (trilogy)- Part One; Part Two; Part Three Rook returns to Traverse Town, and runs into Era, who is able to sense an encroching Darkness in his Heart. After a short drink together, Rook promises to help Era remove a Heartless that has been tormenting her for some time. Overcome with a tugging in his own heart, Rook's own determination and aspiration to be remembered lead him to discover a new gift: the ability to wield a Dark Keyblade, the BlackJack. It was not enough however, as Rook suffered near-fatal wounds, and had to use the Guard Light, channeled through Era herself, to defeat Erax. The victory was short-lived as Ansem of the Dark XII arrived, took Era, and left Rook for dead, as the boy clung desperately to the choker necklace she gave him before leaving. Awaking some time later, Rook could still sense that their two destinies would bring them together again...
Time To Meet Again- Rook reunites with Jason the Nobody in Olympus. After taking another view into Jason's prophetic crystal ball, he journies with Jason to Destiny Islands, determined to meet his fate head-on, which spurns him to pass along a recently-purchased piece of armor on to a young local boy.
The King In Need- Rook and Jason meet with King Mickey on the beach of Destiny Island, and vows to aid in the fight for Castle Disney, no matter its cost. As the King's makeshift army grows, Rook takes it upon himself to become to advance party in whatever fray they may join.
Taking Over The Castle- Bursting from the portal the King provided, Rook is first to charge into battle against the dark forces attempting to steal Castle Disney from the King's possession. Rook fights side by side with King Mickey himself. However, tangling with the Nobody Marluxia has dire consequences that fall directly in line with what Rook saw in Jason's crystal ball, and he is abducted by the Organization member, ripped from the fight and flung into parts unknown...
Converting The Light- Taken by force to The Castle That Never Was, Marluxia begins the arduous task of destroying Rook's will in his first step of making the Keyblade-wielder an agent of the Organization... or for his own machinations...
Locking Up The Sun- Surveying the Dark City from the Castle That Never Was, Rook noticed a light burning in the Castle of Abyss from afar. Thanks to Marluxia's gathered intelligence, Rook deduced that light belongs to Era, and sets out to save her.
Stay In Shadow- Rook storms the Castle of Abyss, Marluxia and Lexaeus in tow. Confronting Eleaus, a fight breaks out between the XII and XIII, Era almost freed in the process, but the hostilities are halted when order from Xemnas force the Organization to retreat.
The World's Secret: Organization Mission 1- Called back to Traverse Town by Marluxia for a mission with other Organization members, Rook is told to unlock the World's Keyhole, but Jadis, the White Witch, intervenes.
RGB Tournament*- Rook entered a charity tournament, fighting with the Ex-King Edgar Figaro in the first round, but narrowly losing after exhausting himself during his offensive, and passing out, swearing he would never give up or surrender. His show of valiant strnegth of will won the former King's respect.
Hades Cup*-
Round 1: Rook tangles with Lexaeus, strongman of the Organization XIII. After a harrowing battle, both combatants force eachother into a draw, with no one winning the fight.
Loser's Fight Round 1: Rook and Gilgamesh tussle, and Rook decides to forego worrying about his Darker powers taking over if it means being victorious in his second-chance bout.
*RGB and Hades Cup Tournaments not set in timeline.
Something Borrowed, Something Blue-[/url] Having vanished without a trace, the wandering Nobody Jason stumbles upon a fragile, hollow and broken Rook, who has since returned to living his hermit lifestyle in the barren outlands surrounding Radiant Garden. Recent memories a hazy static, all Rook can recall is being swallowed by the darkness in his own heart, and spat back out some considerable time later back on his own doorstep. But as Jason encourages him to strike out on his own path again, Rook finally decides it's time to return to the unanswered question he was left with: What saved him from falling completely?
Concerning Heroes- Rook finally steps away from the Great Maw in his attempt to put his pieces back together. The light that is Destiny Islands pains his broken Heart, but will aide be far from coming?
