In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ooc:: Actually, it was discussed with Marluxia beforehand, and in thread. Since Leon as Xemnas has been AWOL, and Marluxia has been the acting and driving force behind the Organization of late, Superior or not, the character's high rank is the reason he came along, Lexaeus (and apparently Era's Axel) in tow. This was not unplanned.
((OOC: *pokes above* What she said....Era's gone...waste of our time and excitement for a battle that was never going to happen in the first place? >_>))
OoC:: This thread was to be used as a catalyst for a gang war between the Dark XII and Org. XIII. Nothing is "moot", it all happened. How it ends isn't particularly of consequence (though sooner than I expected), so long as Era stays in Dark XII hands... Ergo...
The Dark Guardian appeared from the floor in front of the pod Era was encased in, batting it out of the way of the portal as the Nobody intruders left. It sped to it's side and pried apart the prison and pulled Era out, holding her in its arms like a father might a child.
"That boy is more trouble than he's worth...And the Organization appearing in numbers was a bit unexpected. I anticipated one, not three. Perhaps my Other is assuming his old role as leader?"
Ansem walked towards his assembled Heartless, standing before them and looking at Era, "We are more organized, if less numerous. The recruitment continues. As for Rook..." He shot a look at Era, "His protection is guaranteed, though his companions are not extended the same gratitude. But only if you agree to assist me."
Seed had the most confused look on his face when he saw ALL the Heartless leave. He was seriously like...W....T...F. Making his scythe disappear Seed scratched his head and walked towards Elaeus.
"Well....that was fun? I guess?" He looked around and saw all of his allies. Elaeus, Relena, Braig, Myde, Even, and......Who the hell is that old guy?! Seed gave Elaeus a nudge and asked him, "Hey Rocko, who's the old guy?"
( I don't think it's logical for all of the Organization to be appearing here...how would they know a battle was about to take place here? They have other things to do and unless Marluxia contacted the members beforehand and planned an organized attack then there's almost no way of them knowing anything would be going on here... So for that purpose I will keep Roxas out of this. )

Elaeus paused seeing Relena and Myde as they approached Axel like two wolves on a bobcat. Turning his attention away, he was looking for another opponent to weaken and inflict pain on as a lesson to never foolishly bombard into the Castle of Abyss. With instincts fueling his adrenaline, The Earth Titan was twitching and itching to attack and slay. He was never ordered to not kill a Nobody, but today wouldn't be the day. The Nobodies retreated with a command through Marluxa by their Superior, Xemnas.
He snorted watching them leave one by one: Marluxia, Lexeaus, the boy (Rook), Vexen, Axel. It seemed like that Organization XIII didn't have a functional system, especially if Xemnas was calling them back like a mother to her troublesome children. As the nobodies left, a heartless emerged from the floor releasing Era from the flower.
Perhaps?
"Perhaps you may say, but it seems he doesn't have a leash on the rest of the organization." Elaeus added as he fixed the cracks and holes that decorated the hall of their dark castle. With a whistle, the floor, walls, and ceiling smoothed itself out back to norma. Hearing the allowance of the continuance of recruiting, the Earth Titan nodded. Actually one of them was amongst the Dark XII now, Seed, who can't seem to choose his vocabulary wisely at some moments.
"You're referring to Ansem, the head of the Dark XII."
((just some personal-story gaining for Braig here))
"Heh...least nobody got hurt, right dudes?"
Braig smirked as he said this. Of course, an act. Elaeus may have protected the foundation, but Braig had not reacted quick enough to Marluxia's wave of energy, and now there was quite the gash across his chest, of course, he would not allow anyone to see this. A grudge was now formed between Flower Boy and Braig. The Righteous Archer knew who it was that his arrows would be trained on in any future battle. He coughed a bit, quickly wiping blood from his mouth, before descending to the ground, pushing his back against the wall, curling his stomach in the hopes of blocking the wound from the sight of the others, especially Ansem.
He would be the last to leave this hallway, his primary focus on not showing any sign of pain, making it hard to create a way to get out of there...how pathetic he was.
The dangerous glance that the female Heartless was giving him was shot right back. Obviously she'd have to try a little harder to intimidate him. And look? She brought a buddy! Sure, these guys were rumored to be pretty powerful Heartless, but he was sure he could take the -----
What? Orders to pull out?
And, in the blink of an eye, everyone was packing up and heading home. With how quickly the mood had changed, it had the quintessence of a cancelled ball game. "What unpleasant timing!" The Nobody scoffed before disappearing through his own Dark Portal. They vanished as quickly as they'd come.
Finally she was free of the petal-like bindings, only to be snatched away by that large black creature she'd taken to sinking her teeth into back in Traverse Town. This time, however, she was too fatigued to fight. Instead, she relinquished her bitter front, watching the dark-skinned Heartless with a passive, but guarded, expression.
Back to square o---
Wait, was he actually changing his mind? Rook would be protected? The fact brought about an immediate sigh of relief, and she found a strange comfort in the Heartless' cold grip. Leaning back against the Guardian, the girl exhaled. Her recent world had just gotten a little brighter. "What is it you need done?" In a vast contrast to her normally alert appeal, the girl was speaking with her eyes closed and problems tossed to the wind. She sounded like a practiced contractor, but that was not the case.
After fighting so hard, Era was just downright exhausted. And, upon retrospect, she had a right to be.

Axel seemed to be forming words on the tip of his tongue but was cut off from an order made by Marluxia. She growled as he finally left and shot Even a look. She definitely didn't need his damned help. Slowly her spheres melted back into that of their original form and she slipped them into her pouch. Luckily they still had that girl, the one that the Organization had come to retrieve. Ansem seemed to be reaching out a hand to her and Relena mentally gagged. This girl was being treated better than the Steel Blitzer was. She looked over to Elaeus again to see him talking down to Seed. Her eyes slowly slid back to Ansem as she waited to hear what would come neck.
((OoC:: Marluxia followed Rook, as per his offer in another thread, Lexaeus followed due to his working stance of late with Marluxia, Axel showed up on his own accord. Three members hardly constitutes "all" of the Organization, but it isn't that illogical. Marluxia followed Rook and hedged his bets for reinforcements. Rook might be dumb enough to storm the castle unaided, but not Marluxia. Either way, the fight isn't what matters, it's the event of the two groups colliding.))
Ansem folded his arms and gave Era a long studying stare, thinning his eyes. As stated before, Rook's safety was not guaranteed, especially since the fool had chosen to ally himself with the Nobodies. And this incursion would not be forgiven easily. Still, no member of the Dark XII would be allowed to harm the redhead... Heartless acting of their own accord, however, might stumble across his path, and who knows that actions might ensue.
He ignored Seed's brashness, making a note to inquire as to his presence later when more important matter were tended to, "We will discuss this matter... all of us... where shadows gather. Be prepared to offer your reports on recent missions... those who have not completed theirs..." his voice trailed off ominously, the threat hanging in mid-air. The Worlds would know of them soon enough.
