In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

She propped her elbows up on the table and listened intently to the mild conversation starting up before Ansem's big speech. Myde took the seat exactly opposite of her and she narrowed her eyes at him, of course. Then Ansem began to speak, something about the Cornerstone of Light, invading the Radiant Garden place, stuff like that. She basically knew the drill already and by the time he got the words "Any questions?" two had already popped up. She moaned under her breath, something she really doubted anyone could hear, and looked up suddenly as a portal formed in the room.
Playing out slowly across her lips a smirk formed. Yes, Even was late, yes her day had just gotten better. Number Twelve had arrived before most of the members here, hopefully that showed just how responsible she was to Ansem. Following every move he made were her eyes and as he took a seat in his chair she couldn't help but moan again under her breath. This group was so unfair, those who arrived late still kept their high-ranking numbers and still Relena was at the bottom. She set her chin in her hands and waited for Ansem to answer the questions.
Braig looked over to Ansem once the others had asked their questions. Braig knew his job..he was to help with the tainting of the cornerstone, but once that was finished..he did have quite a special request. He straightened as best he could, and instead of grimacing with the pain in his chest, he let out a pained smirk. When he spoke, it was of course, less casual than his norm, after all, Ansem had known Braig the longest of everyone else, and commanded far more respect of them.
"Leader..I understand the tasks that are being set forward, and my question is not geared toward these. My question however, still needs to be asked. I would like, very much to be the one to give Marluxia retribution for his actions..I owe him that much."
He brought a hand up and made a slight fluttering wave gesture, and then spoke again. "Of course, this request would not interfere with what my Priorities are meant to be."
And with his question asked, he leaned back into the chair, resting his arms gently across his chest. The Righteous Archer knew who he wanted his target to be..and when a Sniper such as himself attains a target..no rest will come his way until the target is dealt with. An assurance, that Ansem, of course, would be aware of, and would hopefully help in Braig getting his request fulfilled.
Ienzo watched Braig intently, his silver eyes sharp. Personal action? Braig was intent on revenge, it seemed. The Silhouette wondered how this could assist him... Marluxia could easily be used as a tool. He still had ties to the Organization, and at one point, the Organization would need him back.
"Braig, before you jump on Marluxia, think of the ways we could use him. He has been abandoned by the Organization. Anywhere that he goes, he will be tracked by other Nobodies, and our own Heartless. Meaning that the Organization might prefer him dead." He brushed the hair out of his eyes and thought a little more. "Marluxia cannot be taken down by just any Heartless, nor can he be destroyed by a weak Nobody. If the Organization wants him dead, then they will send one or two of their members. This is the perfect chance to weaken the Organization. We can use him as a scapegoat."
He knew that Braig had no intention of using Marluxia, and he knew there may be a snide remark about his thoughts. "And then after we cripple the members that they send after him, we can successfully kill Marluxia with ease. Let them battle, friend. And after they are weak, we will strike."
Ienzo wondered if his thoughts meant anything. He had just recovered from his leave, and he wasn't perfect on what had happened in his absence, but from what he thought he had learned, the Organization was tracking Marluxia for his rash actions.
"Ienzo...you really are a coward, do you know this?"
Braig's eyes shot towards him with a fury. Disrespectful...true, Braig hated Marluxia...but attack him when he was weak? He was never one to do such a thing! The mere suggestion brought into question whether or not Ienzo was even worth explaining this to..but he would of course.
"You may have to wait until your opponent is weak to destroy him, but I believe in a fair battle. If Marluxia were to appear in this room right now, battle weary, and missing limbs..I would not strike him down. The sport is in the hunt, and if the prey I am hunting is weak, then there is no sport. Take your cowardice and use it elsewhere. If you want to use Marluxia, then that is up to you...but try to use him before my arrow pierces his head."
Were Braig not in the presence of Ansem, he would have spat unto the floor to show his utter disgust for even the idea..
Ansem spoke to Even without facing him, "It appears the King's men placed the Cornerstone there in an attempt to keep it out of darker hands. Fortunately for us, Myde has the ability to tamper with such forms of protection."
Further elaboration ceased as Braig and Ienzo broke into argument, and it went on momentarily, just long enough to irritate the Heartless Superior. "Silence!" The command barked out and echoed across the meeting hall. "If Marluxia has been ousted from the Organization, he is to be treated as a lame target, destroyed on sight." He waved a hand at the bickering duo, "One less Nobody for me to concern myself with. But should the Organization shadow him about, we will attack them together, decimate them all before Xemnas is made aware. Be rid of two or more of the atrocities at once...Unless, of course, he has something to offer us that may extend his lifespan..."

Elaeus held back a chuckle at the keyword: may. Personally if the Organization XIII didn't want anything to do with Marluxia, then they should do they same except rid of him if sighted. It would go under the 'hit two birds with one stone' policy; Elaeus had a feeling that Xemnas is quite irrate for the lack of control of his members. With Marluxia as their loose canon, he would have him hunted for.
"I would summarize saying that this isn't about using Marluxia particularly, but to merely take advantage of the mess he made. Their lack of organization will be there downfall. Might as well see him dead soon before he revives like a dandelion and bites back."
Elaeus rather not deal with Marluxia either. If he couldn't be trusted with his own kind, then he shouldn't be trusted period. If one was to manipulate Marluxia, one would have to think like him and be always one step ahead and keep him on a tight leash. The Earth Titan found it fitting for his nobodies to be serpentine; the flora nobody was just a slick as a snake.
"Also I would like to repeat Seed's question, a recruit I have grasped months ago during your rest, what do you exactly want to be done to the recruits? Of-course bring them here isn't a hard task, but I rather find out their worth and loyalty before admission. As he mentioned before, this Kuja Tribal is very eager, and even desires to be a heartless to fulfill is romantism fantasy of majesty, beauty, and strength. Along with him, there will be others."
"In short, I'm requesting a fitting minature mission or task for them to fulfill ;one that will benefit us and test them. See it as an audition for them; we'll just being using their determination to get some jobs done before officially having them join our ranks."
((Yes, in case anyone didn't see my message from way back in Dark XII Discussion, posting orders are lax on these threads, in order to keep the pace up and moving.))
"Make this Kuja a Heartless, then. He will serve me as such. As for the rest of the recruits, they are not Heartless, nor do I want them to be. They are fodder for the cause. Worthwhile, unworthy, strong or weak, they will all have their purposes, and they will not be glamorous. They will step foot where we dare not. Like young Era here..."
Ienzo sighed and retreated into his own mind. This was not his place. He was not meant to share his thoughts. What a waste of time. His mind was his only sanctuary, and he would not share again. He preferred to be a loner... But it was his duty to help this organization. They were his brethren.
He truly didn't want to be here. But he couldn't complain. Ansem gave him form, gave him movement, and he had to return the favor. Still, he thought differently. Braig was wrong. He was no coward. He was a strategist. He thought of the safest route to any goal, the one that would protect from damage, or take enemies out the fastest. His plan was to use Marluxia as a trap to lure in the Organization...
Maybe he could still pull that off. He just had to work harder, better... He could do this. He looked to Ansem and spoke. "Sir, can I target Marluxia? I don't plan to attack, or even reveal my presence." Elaeus had understood what he meant. Maybe Ansem would agree that it was a worthwhile option.
And then he looked to Elaeus. "Do you know where that strange Neo-Shadow went?" Recruitment was his duty, as Ansem had ordered. He could recruit and spy at the same time, if possible.
Ansem gave him a nod. He was no stranger to Ienzo's intellect, and while Ansem himself could see no foreseeable need for the Nobody, perhaps the Silhouette had something in mind...
"...Pursue, but do not engage. If there is anything to gain from the venture, inform me immediately. Ensure it does not distract you from other duties between now and our strike. And, should you find time, an analyzation of the Restoration Committee's resources and layout would be beneficial. Your eye would be best suited for it."
It almost sounded like he was flaunting the idea of using her. Like all Era woould be was a piece of gum to use and dispose of once her flavor had become unfit for the chewing. Of course that's the exact equivalent to her role in this particular party. Her preservation beyond their use was not foreseen, and she had failed to clarify it as a grounds in her bargain. Whoops.
She was quiet, but her stare was sharp enough to cut glass. She'd figured she would only be a pawn in this Organization, but she didn't think this silver-haired nuisance would be so dang bold about it. But, backed into a corner as she was, she really had only one way out. And that was to obey whatever it was Mr. Creepy wanted her to do.
Looked like she'd have to roll with this dice of fate, and see where the outcome landed.
