In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Seed laughed at Elaeus' words, it still surprises Seed that he can be surprised by Elaeus.
"Well for starters he knew of me. I found that to be personally creepy, who wants that big brute stalking you? Not me. If I can remember correct...." Seed started to look through all of the pockets in his cloths looking for a tape recorder he uses. It wouldn't be a good idea to ask why he carries one.
As Seed was pulling stuff out (A fake fish, a slinky, a baseball, a glass jar, a bomb) he finally found it. He pressed play and Lexaeus' voice could be heard.
"You. Heartless. What is your business here? Must your kind always infect the worlds."
Seeds voice was also on it, "Me infect the worlds? Nah, your thinking of those lower form Heartless. Like those shadows or Neo-Shadows. Me on the other hand, I just go to were I can have the most fun. At least I can FEEL fun, unlike you Nobodies."
"It is in the nature of a Heartless to attack that what they fear, that is why they are doomed to fade away into the Darkness. So I. Lexaeus will not submit to one with such a frail existence."
"True, I am that boy's Nobody. But do not think he is the stronger one. Why do you think he hides from me?"
The tape ended with a loud static sound filling the area. Seed pressed stop and put it away, he looked over at Elaeus and grinned.
"Reason I bring this up is that he seemed very annoyed at the fact that I was part of the Dark XII. That, and he was wandering near that mansion in Twilight Town. Thought you might know why."

A step a head
Elaeus couldn't help to snicker. "He still speaks in partial third person. So funny how he can be clueless in a sense. Without that little cloak of his, my dear little Lexy wouldn't be able to travel in the darkness, and he speaks of us fading. Maybe he would take a note from Zexion and read a book or two. He don't techincally fade with hearts. In a way, we can be quite immortal unlike something that isn't anything."
"Now as of him roaming Twilight Town, I don't have much to worry about. Anything valuable there that he may seek I've already taken excluding the keyhole. As his other, I tend to be a few steps ahead of him."
"So Dilan I doubt you've met your other. Hopefully you won't too soon. Being too close to them can really irrate you, especially with that drive of yours to slash something open and knowing that your nobody can truly feel pain and bleed."
"Alright back on the subject, both of you have arrived during one of my contemplations. As of now, you both now that we shall be returning home soon. Everything is set in motion, but what I would like to have is a back-up plan. For that plan, I need you both to answer my questions."
"If you were human, how would you efficently take down a heartless?"
"What is our sole weaknesses, there should only be two?"
"What do humanity greatly depend on as their source of hope?"
Late. Ienzo shoved a hand through his metaphorical hair as his oily form shifted through the shadows of the castle. Again. Even though it wasn't his fault, there went a few Trust Points in the caste system called the Dark XII. He was slowly dropping to the rank of Dilan or Arumial, or any of the others who rarely showed their face inside of the castle. That damned red creature had attacked him and halted his discoveries. His gray eyes searched the castle, and he found himself in Elaeus' study.
The shadows shifted and melted away as Ienzo stepped out, throwing the oily mass out of his black hair, his silver eyes on his partner. He immediately noticed two others. Seed and Dilan. Great. Ienzo understood that the Dark XII was less than complete, but to have these people here... He would much rather put a Shadow in their place. Even with a lack of intelligence, at least they followed direct orders. They didn't let hormones or acts of will take the place of their prime objective.
Fortunately, Ienzo had completed his prime objective. He had discovered a direct link between the system, the Restoration Committee, and the computer world that lived inside Ansem's Castle. It was all linked in a fragile chain, and if one broke, the others would surely follow. The Silhouette stood in front of his friend, bowed his head slightly, and stood straight. "Elaeus, I have finished my objective." He looked around before continuing. "Would you like my report now, or after you finish with these?" He looked to Dilan and Seed, his eyes sharp, then back to Elaeus.
He had heard Elaeus' questions... And they seemed greatly problematic to him. There were a number of problems concerning them... But he waited for Elaeus to speak.

Hmmm, how would Seed destroy himself. He closed his eyes and thought on this, would he blow himself up? Drown? Or even bettter, A WOOD CHIPPER? Seed shook his head when he started having too much fun thinking of a way to kill himself. Especially when it was so simple, all it took was a Keyblade or Time Magic.
"Well, time magic and I don't go well together. Since I control an advanced form of space magic all time magic would to is rip a hole in the space time continuum is all. Haha wouldn't that be fun to see."
Though it was most likely only Seed would find this to be humorous, he still pondered on Elaeus' other questions. What is a Heartless' weakness's? He knew light and this Keyblade he heard about, but other then that he knew nothing.
"Tch, all humans do to find hope is look at the sky or sun. Or even those that protect them. Take those out and you got yourself on sorry looking group of humans."

Dilan laughed, almost coughing when the idea of meeting his other came up. “ Elaeus you know me too well. That wannabe me, I would just love to rip him into tiny little pieces and let him drift off into the wind” He gave a pause for dramatic effect then began to laugh once more. It was true, Dilan completely underestimated his other, and he saw him as inferior even though Dilan had not met him. However, he didn’t need to, he didn’t see how he could be more powerful than he was, it was almost impossible. “ That drive of mine eh? Gotta love it.” He was quite enjoying himself until a strange question came up. One that would require… thought.
“ If I was a human… trying to kill a heartless… I would find someone strong enough to kill it for me. Humans are very weak and pathetic generally. They wouldn’t try even a shadow. As for our weaknesses… Obviously the keyblade and… I would say the fact that we have hearts. It makes us prone to act upon it. A prime example being me” Dilan stopped and let out a snickering guffaw. “ And humanity depends on those that are stronger, keyblade wielders, religion such as gods. Anything that is stronger than they are is a beacon of hope. If you’re talking about the garden… Their defence systems would probably be a big one.” And that was the end to Dilan’s thinking.
Just as he finished, low and behold the geek came in. lenzo. “ Well well well, looks like you’ve been dragged through an oil slick and back. Or is this your new look? It suits you” Dilan let out a light chuckle at lenzo. To Dilan, lenzo was a winy little kid that needed to learn how to stop complaining about things and do something instead. He never was really interested in anyone but Elaeus so everyone in the Dark Xll had their own bad points.
Dilan saw emotion as a vital part of himself. With emotion he could make himself stronger, if he had a purpose to fight, a reason, an emotion that drove him on, he could fight with a higher intensity. And when it came to Dilan, fighting intensity was all that really mattered. That is of course, after serving Master Ansem.
Finally Dilan comforted himself in his chair, waiting for the all-knowing Elaeus to praise them with his fountain of knowledge. And tell them what the questions where all about.

"Well you two are thinking in the right direction. I doubt the sun would be considered a beacon of hope, since it's a main source of light. I guess people in Traverse Town can't relate to seeing the sun with such high standards. That world is practically shrouded in endless twlight."
Elaeus have been there a few time not fully understanding how can they live efficently with a solar energy. It would call for science, but despite is closeness with earth he wasn't too interested in biology.
"Now as for our achilles' heel: the keyblade being one, while the other is obviously light. Light is that seemingly intangible beacon of hope for humans and is quite the harmful element...to anyone of-course. What would shake them more was to have their beacon of hope turned against then?"
Elaeus wanted to give them the answer and allowed them to wallow in the question he proposed now. He already had any answer for it. Diagrams of his ideas were already sketched on the papers on his desk. He was happy of Ienzo's sense of timing.
"Great to see you drop by Ienzo. Dilan and I were just planning to come by to see you, but it seems you have beat us to the punch. Also I wouldn't want to disturb you with the task at hand. Tell me afterwards, I rather keep these two focused on a possible future task."
"Now that you all hear please answer my questions. I would ask the ever-calculating Even, but as you see he isn't with us at the moment. I might run into him later unless he could feel a foreboding sense to come here."
"Can Nobodies wield and bend darkness and light or do they have a limitation?"
He shook his head, putting a hand to his forehead in a strange fashion. As if deep in thought, he tried to figure out the words to use. He knew this one... "Nobodies cannot wield any element that directly relates to Light or Darkness. While they can use Fire, Ice, Thunder, and Earth... And all of their compounds. But Light and Darkness their Hearts cannot comprehend." He tried to explain what he knew from studying them.
"For somebody to use Light or Darkness, they have to have it in their Heart, as we saw with Riku when he and Sora attempted to escape from The World That Never Was. Riku failed because the Darkness had started to fade. He was slowly losing power, judging from the fight with Xemnas afterward. Sora had to carry him away."
His silver eyes were closed, but he smiled. "We are barely better. Whilst we can use Darkness, we hold no Light in our Hearts. It had been destroyed, puffed out, and the only way we can return it is from a Princess of Hearts, supposedly. They hold Hearts of pure light, and, freely given, we could gain the Light in which we lost." He shrugged at that thought. He didn't want the Light back. "But no, we cannot use Light because we hold none in our Hearts. It cannot affect us naturally, but channeled into Magic, it can destroy the physical essence of our bodies, which are made out of Darkness."
Hmm. Seed never liked answering so many questions about such a serious topic, but if Elaeus needed it then Seed had to answer.
"Well Ienzo, since all of us carry a certain element of control about us. Would it not make sense that the Nobodies of Organization XIII have control of these as well. Further more, since they have the thirteenth member, the one we obviously lack, would that one be the one to control light?"
"And regarding your question Elaeus. It would make sense that every being, be they a deity or not to have limitations. Only a fool would assume otherwise. The real question should be what is each individual persons limit. Mine personally is overusing my spacial magic. But I would only reach this if I used it for I'd say three hours all together."

(( Sorry got a bit stuck for what to put this time.))
“As lenzo said, they cannot use darkness or light, they have no heart” There wasn’t much for Dilan to speak of on this topic, most had already been said. “ They can control other elements, we know that for sure, as for us, we can control darkness and the other elements.” Dilan paused for a second, obviously thinking something over.
“Seed, you said about the 13th member of nobodies. He has a keyblade which is light is it not? But are there not dark keyblades?” This question was something that was theoretical. He didn’t actually know. “ If there is something of light, there must be something of dark… I think…”
Limitations… Well, everything had a limit didn’t it? Even Dilan, as much as he hated to admit it, he also had a limit to what he could do, and how long for. “ We do have limits… Seed said about his, I have mine as well, controlling air itself is much harder than it looks” Dilan let out a small chuckle before continuing. “ To overuse an ability would reach our limits. Everything must have a beginning and an end, in this case a limit.” He sounded quite intelligent to himself but had no doubt that lenzo would correct him somewhere along his chain of thought.

"No, Roxas wouldn't be able to manipulate light. For we've already stated that Nobodies can't tamper with it. Also let's not drown in the mysteries of the keyblade. Regardless if it's light or dark, they all hold a significant purpose and will still be a weapon against always. Also individual limits are personal flaws; I'm talking about our limits as a whole, as a Heartless."
Elaeus leaned his head on one hand as he listened to their own analytical opinions. He didn't know what to think of it all. It seemed that Ienzo and Dilan had forgotten. Seed wouldn't have known, since he wasn't even born to be around the three in their pasts life. Now seeing where their mind sets were, he wondered how far can they really go. To be vast, one must have to think vast. To be limitless, one must think beyond limits.
"I wouldn't put too much high hopes on the Princess of Hearts Ienzo. Their title is only gained from their oblivious nature. As children, we were all pure in heart. Those that were heavily sheltered to not see the darkness would only have the heart of light. After all true humans are composed of both light and dark. You're giving them to high of a pedestal, since it seems that they don't know what it means to be human."
"If you think like a box, you will always be within that box. It's similar to how some people thought the worlds were flat until someone thought outside of the box to proove them wrong. If you continue to think about limits, you will always have limits. A fool would think arrogantly, but what I'm saying is that 'we must think openly.' I must say Ienzo, Dilan, I'm ashamed of your impecible lack of memory."
"Let's see if I can recover those and Seed could learn a few more things today. Now boys, do you remember the emblem given to heartless. If so which heartless are they given to and why?" The Earth Titan waited again for his question to be answered. Sooner or later they will see what he saw; they'll just have to discover it by thinking outside of the box.
"Also an answer you have given me is 100% incorrect."
Ienzo paused as he stared at Elaeus. It was true, there were holes in his memory from his Awakening and his Sleep. Thre were singed marks where the burns had seeped into his past, removing peices. They were slowly coming back, but Ienzo had to admit that he was ashamed of the chain that had been broken and scattered. Luckily, he could peice them together himself, but it was hard and painful...
Emblems... Xehanort. That bastard. Of course, it had been his own idea to make the lab, but he hadn't meant to start the chain that continued afterwards. Xehanort had used his own laboratory against him! The traitor. But what did that mean? The emblems were symbols of artificial Heartless. What did that have to do with thinking out of the box?
"The Emblems were bestowed upon the lesser Heartless by us and Xehanort, when we first created the lab." A few of the memories out of the thousands began to weld themselves together, and he found it easier to speak. "They are given to the Heartless we made by our experiments before we fell into Darkness. But... Elaeus, I don't understand where you're going with this. How does that give us limits?"
He paused for a moment.
"Elaeus, are you telling me that we have no limits because we can create new, more powerful Emblem Heartless?" Ienzo knew that wasn't right. But... This was so frustrating! Zexion could have gotten it in a second, he was sure. Why couldn't he summon his former intellect? He grinded his palm against his temple, flattening the hair in front of his face.

Dilan had to think long and hard. He wasn’t one for dwindling in the past, and if you never think about something the memories distort, twist and eventually fade. His had almost all but faded. Twice now he had slept since his awakening. He listened to what Elaeus and lenzo said hoping that it might jog his memory. Maybe he could remember something from it all.
“ Heartless in general. Well isn’t our limit” He thought for a long while. “ Well to think about it, we are still heartless. Even without an emblem we are still heartless.” He thought back long and hard, trying to recall the events that transpired all those years ago. He was struggling to say the least, he couldn’t remember much at all, only insignificant bits, most of which lenzo had already mentioned. “ Emblems…” Heartless had the black heart with the red cracks in it, it was true, he knew that much.
It was frustrating, his mind was whirring but with Seed and lenzo here he couldn’t let his emotions show, it was bad enough that he let Elaeus see the emotions earlier; he couldn’t let them out again. “ I simply… cannot remember, I prefer not to linger with the past.” He would just have to play it safe for now.
He adjusted on his chair, correcting his arms into a more comfortable position, still his mind whirring, but the memories would not come back to him no matter how hard he pulled at them. They where gone.

"Although that's not what I was referring to that can be correct if we were to apply it, but that's a step too head of us, since I doubt we posses that machinery to continue producing heartless."
Looking towards Dilan, he already knew it was irritating him as well with his faltering memory. "I'll just end the charade now and the twenty questions." His fingers flipped through the file of paper work in his hand before drawing a single sheet.
"Exhibit A," The sheet was raised showing a picture with stats underneath, "this is what I wanted you two to remeber and introduce to you, Seed. You see this can be something and resourceful especially as a plan B if we were to have to much of any project. This can simply do exactly what I had proclaimed, using that beacon of hope to deterioate any opposers. We can mend this to create protection and weaponry."
Placing the sheet down desk, he turned it to them to see for himself. "You carry bombs right Seed? What if that was packed inside? Think of the results. If we can adorn ourselves in clothing to mask our darkness, mending this could protect us from our very own weakness. With this, we can easily wield what you found unwieldable."
"What makes us limitless, turning what we've already discovered and created to utilize it for something else." Leaning back in his chair, his feet propped on the desk. "Now if you think that idea useful, I have a request to ask of you two." His fingers pointed at Dilan and Seed. "They need to be collected, and I doubt it would be hard to convince Even to do a little work."
"How do you feel about that?" His fingers were already going through more paper work. If they shared his vision, there would be more subjects to be collected.
