In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The princess of snow Oh yes, soon she shall show. For her guards have been doomed Now her heart of light feels entombed. The princess returns.
Dilan glared at what the mirror was saying… “ Wait a minute,” he said actually paying attention for once. “ How did he answer tha—“ Dilan stopped; he shouldn’t bring this up yet. He should wait and find out first.
“So, we going to get the princess and steal this mirror?” he said slowly, his only concern was the heart that he craved, the one inside that princess. “ I am NOT carrying that thing, you can take it, I will carry the princess,” he said very stubbornly. Dilan hated that mirror but it could come in use yet.
He glanced around towards the door as he heard footsteps heading their way.

"The princess doesn't need to be carried. For now, don't talk whatsoever, or you will surely scare her and we'll have one less member." Elaeus looked at Dilan with a serious tone. He had already made a mess outdoors which was why the queen was coming back so suddenly. "No, you aren't carrying her. She's quite valuable, and I doubt you can tend to something so delicate end of discussion."
"You're taking the mirror, because if you break it I can easily fix it." Elaeus stated a matter of fact. "Also I would advise not to roam far with it, because once he knows we process it he'll want to see it."
Turning his head, he can feel the vibration through the floor. He didn't know what was of that heartless outside, but perhaps everything can fall into place neatly for once.

Dilan headed over towards the mirror and whispered to is. “ Utter a word, and I will break you.”
With that he took the mirror in his hand and walked over towards Elaeus. “Want me to kill the guards. You get the princess?” he mumbled to the side. “ Its not like it matters if we scare her” he chuckled once more.
It was only then that it sunk in. She had a heart of pure light; she WAS more dangerous than most warriors due to that. Her heart could probably ward away. It was like a mosquito light, so attractive but so deadly. It gave Dilan the thrills.
For now Dilan merely stood at the side of Elaeus, mirror in hand awaiting for the now strict and serious Elaeus to say something. Anything.

"I feel that provoking her would have a bad outcome for us. Picture it Dilan; you frighten her and she'll channel endless light from her heart right at you. With a neverending power from a heart pure of light, who knows how long you may recover from that damage...if she doesn't damage you completely. That's why I don't want to throw her off guard. Knocking her out would be less painless."
Elaeus explained his cautious behavior as he glanced back Dilan wondering if he comprehend the possible danger they could be putting themselves in with a woman who hardly knows an ounce of decent fighting skills with only her heart, a massive amount of energy, as her weapon.
"Once she's unconscious, I could care less of what you do with the guards. Just don't let them be able to identify us. The last thing we need is mass attention for taking a princess of light. No matter, they won't get to her easily; we'll make sure of that." The Heartless muttered lowly, while walking to the side of the door. If she was to walk through, he would be right in her blind spot.
((ooc: sorry to jump in at such a late time... XD ))
The footsteps in the hallway stopped, staying in place. the figure that was in the hall gasped, and then the noise of a torch lighting up. A soft mumbling was heard, along with two *whumps* and a fizzing noise. several more fizzing noises made their way up and down the hall, and then the hallway became dark.
The footsteps resumed, getting closer to the door. The footsteps stopped, right in front of the door. The handle of the door turned slowly, opening into the room. Whatever torches had been lit in the hallway were now out, and any objects in the hallway were dark and mostly indiscernible. There was a skittering, and the heartless that Elaeus had summoned as a "Cover Up" for Dilan's killing spree ran in quickly, missing an antennae and looking injured. It shivered and disappeared, releasing the heart contained within as a strange voice floated into the room.
“Aye... Mirror mirror, on the wall… Who’s the fairest one of all? Bring them out, one by one… Bright the light and we’ll have fun!”
Merlin, dressed in black robes that reach the floor with a hood that covered his face, looked almost like an organization member. Almost. the subtle differences, like the lack of gloves, the silver trim around the edges, and the way it flowed when there was no wind, told otherwise.
He stepped into the room, whispering something as he stepped across the threshold of the door. Suddenly, his staff started shining with an intensely bright light which could momentarily blind anyone in the room, and had the power to dissolve lesser heartless. It had no effect on Merlin's twinkling eyes, and he assessed the situation as quickly as the light on his staff went out.
"Aha... I thought I might be able to find you here..." Merlin looked around through the dark and noticed that Dilan was holding the Magic Mirror. "Wait... where's the other one?"

(Really sorry Merlin but Dilan's muse has completley gone. For now I am going to say that your spell blinded him or something)
Dilan had been staring at the door, waiting for the princess to walk on through with her guards. When this old man came walking in he focused even more strongly, just in time to have his eyes burnt by a strong light. He wobbled slightly, the mirror still in his hand and rubbed his eyes manically.
/where is the other one?/
He knew that they was here? How? This would have to be looked into later.

Elaeus stood flatly against the wall hearing footsteps allowing his hand to become united with the element within the castle. A bright light radiated into the room as a figure stepped through. Perhaps Snow White wasn't as predictable as he would hope, but it made sense once the light dimmed down from its projection, a staff. What he wanted to prevent occured. Dilan was right in the path of impact of the rays of light.
An elderly voice reached his ears instead of a maiden. ""Wait... where's the other one?"
Not saying a word, Elaeus' moved his arm, compounded of the brick that created the wall, throwing a punch to the back of the elder's head. The black band around his eyes prevented the little light that spread in his general direction. The Heartless looked out of proportion with a thick bricked right arm, but nothing held him back from striking the man.
Merlin looked around, relieved that Snow White was not in her room. either she was warned properly, or her heart could sense the trouble. either way, she's remotely safe for now. Now to deal with the punks that were currently holding the magic mirror as if it were a normal mirror, and thus repairable. However, if that mirror broke... there would be one helluva light show.
Then, there was a soft shifting of fabric, to which Merlin said: "Reflega"
Instantly, a shield covered Merlin, stopping and absorbing Elaeus' attack. As it did so, an orb of pure kinetic energy gathered on the front part of the shield and was sent with the same intensity of the original attack, straight towards the dazed and confused Dilan.
Merlin's voice softly floated out from beneath his hood. "Gentlemen, we have two options here. We can fight, or we can sit down and have tea and cookies, and then be on our merry way."
Using his free hand, the one that wasn't holding his staff, he lowered his hood, revealing the long, silvery hair and beard that many people recognized him for. If these fools didn't know him yet, they would now.
In the same hand that lowered his hood, there was a gleaming, silver, star-shaped mark, which glowed orange in readiness for just about anything.

[You wanted some opposition, well... You got it. Oh, and Dilan... I loved how you played the Magic Mirror. Awesome Job. And... Hope you guys don't mind me coming in. If there is a problem, feel free to let me know.]
This strange castle, belonging to that of one of the Princesses of Heart. That was where the Wandering Nobody soon found himself. Through use of his Crystal ball, he followed those who were known members of the RGRUC in hopes that Jason could be allowed into Radiant Garden. Merlin happened across his Crystal Ball as it showed him enter Snow White's Castle. Now was his chance to talk to the Powerful Wizard. However... He was not alone... Dilan and Elaeus of the Dark XII were seen in the crystal ball as well.
Seeing that, Jason knew it wouldn't have been as easy as he had thought. Entering a Corridor of darkness, Jason made his way toward Snow White's Castle in pursuit of Merlin and the foolish heartless. It didn't take long for him to arrive as a Portal of darkness would open off to the side of where they stood, Jason stepping out with his long, silver trenchcoat, as well as his long, silver hair flowing behind him. Staff in hand, crystal ball atop the staff, Jason stood there as the portal closed behind him.
No words would come from Jason as he would watch Dilan and Elaeus there, Merlin's hood now removed and a strange star-shaped mark in his hand, his own staff being held up. Jason knew he needed the chance to speak with Merlin, but the heartless were in the way now. And that meant that Jason needed to aid Merlin in taking them out. Either permanently or just sending them away to be dealt with at a later time. Now it was going to be fun.

Dilan wiped and rubbed his eyes several times, they felt heavy and sore, slowly they opened; just in time to see a ball of kinetic energy blast its way towards Dilan. Without a hesitant thought he quickly, and VERY messily flashed up two harpoons in a cross in front of him, the kinetic energy hit the cross of harpoons and they where sent flying towards the wall, sticking in it.
“Well well well… Merlin, not very nice of you to blind me was it” he said as he rubbed his eyes several more times before placing each hand out and having both harpoons form from the wall to his back in a cross pattern.
He glances over to Elaeus; they had the mirror, but not snow white, what should they do. Holding the mirror, keeping his grasp on it tight, no one was getting it from him. “ Elaeus.” He spoke slowly. “What’s your call” he gave an acknowledging glance to the other person that had formed to the side of him from a dark portal. Holding a staff, bah another mage.
Quickly Dilan stances himself ready, he might need all 6 of his harpoons for this, and what’s worse, he might even need to flee. Dilan clenched his fists, having the air around them swirl and powered ready for a quick aeroga if one was needed. He was ready for combat or ready to flee.

"Sorry, we didn't came here to merely to have treats with an old sage or tango with nothingness." Elaeus replied with a low growl. Like a stalking predator, he walked around.
What's your call?
"What's my call?. We leave. You don't want to give the old man a stroke to leave him with the aid of nothing."
The old man paid no attention to the newcomer, instead watching both enemies for signs of hostile movement. He was going to summon a spout of heavy gravity to counter the sly readying of the air currents. Before any further moves were made, Elaeus went stalking around the room like an animal.
"...you don't want to give the old man a stroke..."
"Aww, a heartless, concerned about me? it's touching. Almost from the heart... And I didnt offer treats, young one. Treats are only given to good and well-behaved animals" Merlin smiled, opening his arms in a foreign gesture of welcome as he said this. Here it was used more as a display of power: in his left hand, F’lahitrah's orb shone with a strange green light, and his right palm glowed a soft reddish color.
"Leaving would be your best bet. If you don't mind... but I would like the mirror back. It's kinda important."
Chuckling, he pulled his arm into a forward position, palm facing opponents with a brighter red glow. "I would enjoy having some tea though... Maybe when I'm in the company of people with... Lighter dispositions... You know?"
[[OOC: btw... It may seem like merlin hates your character, but I as the writer do not. Don't worry, it's only merlin.]]
Finding people was much harder when they could be anywhere in any number of worlds. That was the problem that the Returners - well, those that were currently available - were facing. The best they could manage was searching different worlds more or less randomly.
So, that was exactly what Edgar, Locke, and Strago were doing. This world? Their next stop. Edgar was currently leading - after all, who better than to lead a diplomatic mission to a castle than a king? His pace was a bit more relaxed than usual, for Strago's sake, though he did nothing to acknowledge it. It was easiest to let the elder have his pride.
In any case, they just needed to find whoever was in charge here, to start asking questions. If that didn't work... well, that's where Locke would come in.
... or at least, that's how things would have gone, if not for the large flash coming out of one of the rooms down a side hallway. That wasn't something that happened every day. Without even thinking, Edgar drew the Autocrossbow (from where it had been tastefully concealed) and ran towards the action. "There's trouble." That was all the explanation the others would need.
When Edgar got to the door, there seemed to be a bit off a stand-off. One in silver, some others in black. The one with gray hair looked familiar. One of the judges from that tournament at Radiant Garden? It was a possibility.
"What's going on here?" Edgar was not the type to shoot first, ask questions later; that he would leave to his brother.
((Enter Returners: Edgar, Locke, and Strago. Relm's not here (unless she stowed away on the gummi ship, which is always a possibility with her).))
This world was one none of the Returners had heard of so far, and so Strago had strictly forbidden Relm to accompany them. And for once, she had done so without complaint. Oh sure, she might have stowed on board, but he had done a check of all the many places she had hid before, and they were all empty.
And now, he had been proven right! There was danger, and Relm was far away from it. He wouldn't tell her, naturally. If she heard that there was a fight without her, she would try twice as hard next time. For his sake, he knew, but still. He could take care of himself, and never enjoyed his granddaughter's risk-taking habit.
When Edgar took off to a run, he picked up the Rod he usually used as a walking stick and followed suit. He couldn't quite keep up (his left leg was acting up again), but he arrived shortly after his two companions.
((I'd post what he saw here, but considering he is slower, just assume the arrival itself isn't until his next post : ) ))
Lock strolled through the castle, sharp-eyed and nonchalant, taking in everything as they went. They had yet to find any people, though there were definite signs of inhabitation. Like a distinct lack of dust or monsters, to start with.
The flash of light brought the unmistakable smell of magic with it.
Edgar was welcome to ask the questions. Locke took post to one side of the door, checking his weaponry with quick practiced moment. He couldn't see whatever was in the room, so he'd have to go off sound and Edgar's cues. He could do that, no trouble.
((Meh. Meh, I say. I'm done glaring at this post, it will have to do.))
