In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"I'm not sure, but everything points at them wanting the hearts of people to create more heartless" That was her answer to Kiryu's question.
The information accessible to normal people was scarce, so not many knew what the heartless were or if they had any goal as they were creatures guided only by instinct.
Probably was to protect the people from knowing just how serious was the situation, but no one ever bothered to tell regular people all that needs to be known about those foes, most likely telling all the important parts to "chosen ones" or something and leaving in ignorance anyone who's not a chosen one.
'' I see so thats it'' Kyriu said while his arm slowly tightened his grip around his strap.
He needed to know..more about this place, and the creatures called ''heartless''. Maybe his arrival here was just by chance, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't take advantage of his situation. First he would try to learn more about Traverse Town, everything else could come later.
'' Yes actually, where did you get your weapons?'' Kyriu asked Reiho.
"It may sound silly, but I appeared in this world with my weapons."
She mentioned how when she was found by the caretaker of the orphanage, she had a wooden sword and a gun with her.
The wooden sword "bokken" was a standard weapon used by practitioners of Kendo and other sword related martial arts while the gun was the standard firearm of her homeworld.
"And that's the story of my weapons. After two years living in that orphanage i retrieved them because they seemed to be related with my past"
That was one of the few times Reiho did something crazy. Back when she was only 12 years old she dared to escape from the orphanage and "retrieve" those weapons which were safely storaged somewhere in the building.
"I think i had something else with me when i arrived to Traverse Town, but i forgot"
That was odd, was it natural for people to appear with weapons? Possibly. Kyriu wanted to ask something else, but he couldn't think of anything useful to say. He walked with the young detective in silence, still trying to come up with something to say.
'' One more thing. Why did you decide to be a detective? Are there any criminals here?'' was all the student could think of asking.
It was simply like that. With her memories shattered into scrambled pieces of an incomplete jigsaw, she had nothing that could helped her to know who she was nor tell her what to do.
"It was a strange feeling. It was like something telling me i had to fight for justice."
She looked at the people of traverse town, quietly returning to their homes after a long day of work. Despite the tragic events that brought them to this world, all of them seemed to leading normal lives, some even finding happiness.
"Even if all started only following a vague memory of my past, i'm sure i did the right thing when I become a detective. Now I protect this peace and search for the truth about this world and about my own past."
After answering his question, Reiho told the student that they already reached the door to the third district.
"The third district is a bit dangerous, but since the giant heartless that stormed it three days ago was defeated, things are a bit more tranquil there"
She opened the door and led Kiryu to the third district. It was quite damaged due the battle that took place there before, but the parts closest to the first district were intact, one of them being a medium room near the door. Reiho pulled a key from her pocket and opened the door leading to her humble home.
The inside of the room was of medium size with enough room for some minor amenities like a radio and a small electric stove to warm or cook stuff. Obviously there was a bed inside with a little table in the middle of the room and some extra blankets on a corner next to some goods like books, extra clothes, etc.
"It's a very little place, but you can sleep here until you find another home. Get a blanket, find a space in the floor and sleep, or we can talk a bit more"
Often people wondered why she decided to live in the third district despite often it was invaded by heartless. Why she lived there? Because she didn't have to pay for the room.
(thread still continues here because it's just some talk inside her home before finishing the thread)
Kyriu walked inside Reiho's house and after she got in he closed the door. It was a small place, but it somehow looked comfortable. Kyriu took a blanket and wrapped it around himself, then sat in the middle of the room.
'' I'm sure you did. My parents wanted me to be a lawyer..I doubt thats going to happen though'' Kyriu said.
"A Lawyer?" She wondered a little about how to answer to the student. "I guess it's true, that's not gonna happen"
Unless he had the books and the study material needed for, it was going to be impossible to be a lawyer in Traverse Town.
"Mister Kiryu, is normal for you to have panic attacks?" The inquiring mind of the detective wanted to know more, because if the student was prone to panic attacks, she would need to keep an eye on him until they stop.
Kyriu thought about Reiho's question. He never had them before, so maybe it was just the shock of losing his world. He really wanted them to stop..but until he figured out what trigged them, there was no possible way of ending them.
'' No not really. It seems to happen when I think about my home..or when..I'm under stress..I think. I'm not sure how to stop them yet'' Kyriu said
"Maybe a good night of sleep can help.It does wonders for me!" Reiho said with an optimistic tone and with a smile in her face.
It was in relaxing times like this when Reiho was able to act calmly, free of the pressure of serious situations like the battle of the third district or the incident with the thief Kousei.
"Anyways, do you want to sleep now or talk a bit more? I could tell you about my research and investigation!"
The teen stood up and unzipped his case, the took out his katana. It was the only thing that he still had from his world..it was like treasure to him. He knew that If he practiced it would help him clear his mind.
'' Sure tell me what you have done so far'' Kyriu said.
She moved next to a small bookshelf in a corner and pulled a pair of notebooks which looked like they've been there for years. One was a bit thick while the other was slim.
"During the four years I lived in Traverse Town I've been recording everything i can about the people and heartless I met"
She picked the thick notebook and showed the student the various notes and drawings she did about many people she met, including people like Antique and Caxnon.
"In this one I write everything about the people that lives or visits the Town"
After handing the thick notebook to Kiryu, she grabbed the slim one and like before, she explained about it before giving it to him.
"And in this one i write everything about the heartless. It's my personal bestiary!"
After letting him give a look at the notebooks, Reiho gave a glance at the katana Kiryu brought with him. It seemed to be finely crafted and for the way he looked at it, probably had a huge sentimental value for him
"Mister Kiryu, that sword you carry all the time with you, could you tell me the history behind it? It looks like you cherish it a lot."
Kyriu looked through the files that Reiho gave him, and he found everything inside very interesting. Furthermore the heartless bestiary was also interesting, how did she manage to gather all this information.
"Mister Kiryu, that sword you carry all the time with you, could you tell me the history behind it? It looks like you cherish it a lot."
Kyriu put down the files and looked at his weapon.
'' It' the only thing from my home..that I still have. I received it after I finished my training, and practicing with it somehow gives me peace, though I can't imagine hurting anything with it'' Kyriu said
"Mister Kiryu, nothing is more important than keeping yourself alive"
She looked again at the katana. It was clearly filled with many precious memories and carried a powerful sentimental energy within it.
"I think the katana and the memories of your home within it would like to serve you in battle. And i think it would be sadder if a fine weapon like it is never used in battle to protect it's master"
She carefully touched the hilt of her wooden sword. Inside it's sheath it looked just fine, but unsheathed anyone could clearly see that it was split in half, broken during the battle against the darkside-neoshadow hybrid in the third district.
"My Bokken, i'm sure it's happy for having served me till the end"
She showed him her wooden sword, the two broken halves.
"I don't remember much of my past, but i'm sure this wooden sword was something precious to me. I bet the people connected with the memory of that bokken would be happy to know that i'm still here thanks to it's services as weapon despite wooden swords can't do much against powerful enemies and breaks easily compared with katanas of tempered steel like yours"
And then she finished with those last words "Objects have a soul too"
She didn't know what was she talking about during the last thign she said, but it felt like the right thing to say. Probably another of her memories re-connected itself with the rest and the memory of the teachings about taking care of objects and their souls emerged.
'' I guess your right about that. But I don't think I'm suited for battle..not in the state I am now.'' Kyriu said. He looked at Reiho's weapon, and saw it's condition. Maybe it was once a good weapon..but he was sure it still had it's uses.
Kyriu looked at his refection in the sword before speaking again.
'' I won't use this to attack, I'll only defend myself, and those that matter to me. To tell you the truth, I'm afraid of what I'll do If I use this.'' Kyriu said.
Reiho remained thoughtful and a bit melancholic due those words. She knew that she wanted to help everybody in Traverse Town, but the latest chain of events made her rethink if she was really able to do it. Could she ever look at the face of Caxnon and the others after what happened yesterday near the café?
"I want to protect the Entire Traverse Town, but i don't know if i can face again those people whom i met before meeting you"
The incident where she almost lost her heart and the crime she almost committed against that obnoxious thief yesterday ... she's been avoiding the people whom she was trying to bond with since she did "that" in front of them.
"Caxnon, Antique, and those two other newcomers Tyson and Mikael .. i almost did something terrible in the name of my ... selfish justice. I've been wondering if i can still call myself a friend of justice, probably they are wondering what's wrong with me wherever they are .... "
Kiryu wasn't present when "that" happened, but had he seen that dark side of the detective, he probably wouldn't have accepted to talk with her.
Not even she knew if that was due some lingering darkness in her heart or not, but the thing was that something strange happened yesterday and she felt she wasn't ready to see her acquaintances against until she managed to overcome the guilt of her action and understand a little what happened. That was the reason why she was trying so hard to help Kiryu, to find some peace and feel better with herself.
