In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

He remember the place a bit too well. The first taste he had gotten from the true evil endangering the worlds. He had met friends like Maverick there, as well as enemies such as Maleficent and Marluxia. Mikael had seen the near destruction of Disney Castle and the death of its gardens: it wouldn't do much good to see and remember it.
While Jadis wouldn't force him to go, Maxwell was a completely different person. Headstrong, reckless, and going nonstop 'till he got what he wanted. Mikael's work in Traverse Town was not finished, and he wasn't willing to be dragged away.
"I.. I can't, I can't go. Not now." The pyro quickly became aware of the weakness in his words. He could not show it there in front of all of them. "My work here is not finished, I can feel it. Going to the King's Castle wouldn't do any good to me... that world brings unpleasant memories back."
He smirked, recovering his usual confident self. Mikael turned to Max, ignoring the nickname as well. "I'll catch up to you later. If it's company you are worried about, you could always ask Drago to come with you." His gaze lowered to the hydro's hand, where the blue ring rested. "Also, you still have something that belongs to me."
He had lent the ring to Max so he could proceed with the plan of recruiting Drago and Caxnon. Mikael had seen the latter at Traverse Town a week before, meaning that the warrior had probably only found the female. Regardless, Max had already spoken to Caxnon, leaving Mikael to only talk to Reiho and Antique, unless some other skilled warrior showed up.
"We also need to talk about something else, Max. Seeing how many unwanted visitors we have had today, I suggest having the conversation at another place." Mikael needed to talk about the Elite Heartless with him, specifically about the ones he had met: Lea, Braig, Seed, Ien and the other two with unknown names. Max already knew Roze, so talking about pinky wouldn't be necessary.
Max stopped and looked at Mikael as he mentioned he couldn't leave quite yet. Max just gave Mikael a critical eye, looking up and down at his friend to make sure he wasn't just trying to get out of things. He looked confident, though, so...he supposed he'd let the flame-head go for now.
"All right, I understand," he said to Mikael,"I remember there being a courtyard in the middle of the castle with gardens. We can meet there, if neither of us runs into any snags.
"And I'm not worried about company," Max continued, grinning at Mikael,"I'm worried about you my friend. Somebody's gotta babysit you, or you'll wind up hurting yourself, since you're totally helpless without someone to watch your back. Me? I can handle myself."
Max's little jives at Mikael were a futile attempt to calm his own nerves about going back to Disney Castle alone. Last time he'd been there, him and several others had been chased by hoardes of heartless and barely managed to escape with their lives. He wasn't in any rush to go back, by himself, to face those kinds of odds again. He wanted to be sure he was ready before he went in there.
However, in the middle of Max's thoughts, Mikael's voice intruded. He just looked up at the younger boy as he raised his eyebrow higher still. Talk about....something else? What was that?
"Yeah, sure....," He asked, glancing over at Roze where he was standing, and Jadis where she was watching them. If he couldn't talk in front of Jadis, the woman he seemed to be following for now, it must be something very important,"Cmon. Let's go outside the tunnel. We should be able to talk in the alleyway."
Max turned and motioned for Mikael to follow him as he did. He used his power to turn the water filling the exit to the tunnel into a solid path they could walk on so they coudl get out easier, and led the way out as Mikael followed....
(exit mikael and Max. I DID have permission from shun to do that, too.)
