In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Yay! Glad you like it >> << I had enough Atsy juices to crank that out early this morning. :3 On TOWARDS THE NEXT REQUEST!
Current Request: 1. Antique Redesign DONE 2. 3.
._. if ye would like a request juuust say so << and me will see what >> I can do. I perfer only to have up to 3 at a time, >> since I'm one to start and finished a project.
I think I shall leave pretties to be contest prizes, since that's why I did Doogies for winning the pumpkin carving contest. Perhaps I will randomly give a shot-out when I'm in a PRETTY mode!
Woah, Ellie! That one with the keychain is gorgeous. I think you conveyed the water on the sand thing perfectly. The way you depicted the metal of the chain is awesome, too. I couldn't stop staring. XD
I also like your picture with Rose and Halen. The anatomy of the latter is a little off, even for a neoshadow, but maybe it just seems like that because he's taller than Rose in this one. Once the rest of the legs are added it'd look fine, I'm sure. But you did well with Rose's pose - and her gun looks epic.
*kicks self* I should seriously get off my arse and put up my own art thread.

XD yeah I purposely >> tried to distort Halen...since Heartless are distortions of what a person was; also by description Halen is 6 feet, while Rose is 5 feet 3 me thinks. So his awkward anatomy is just to enforced the abnormality of a heartless.
Even in their animation, they have a quirk with twitches, fidgetting, and etc posing imperfections, while nobodies are more fluid in motions having a more defying appeal...since their existence does defy nature, since they aren't meant to exist.
Yes. Rose is very short. Foot shorter than me. Halen is actually 6'2", but I say about because its not like he would hold still long enough to be measured. Is a tiny hidden joke.
Personally, I would LOVE to see some more continuation with the Hunchback of Notredame picture. I think it's off to a lovely start (I love the horizon perspective lines) -- especially the buildings and the perspective you have on it so far.
Really like the profiles on the last image, as well. I think, for now, just be wary of proportions when drawing people.
You know what would be very helpful? Have you looked into Bridgman Guides? He is a fabulous artist who is capable of putting so much grace and vibrancy to his figures. They just -- live. x]
One of my assignments is to come up with a character concept for I can construct a 3rd model, rig it, then animate it. I truly truly truuuuly want to do Persephone. Her storyline been racking my brain since my Exploring the Goddess class, and ironically stuff I thought of yeeears ago (even musical melodies) fit it so well. =3=;; Trust me eons ago I had a dream of mythological greece...and since I had no characters in mind << >> I was the projective moving force which I now dump on Persephone.
This is just a rough sketch of her in the aesthetics I would like for her. I do have a more caricature version of her, which makes her look very innocent and young (thank-you disney eyes). Now I'm targeting for a more Art Nouveau style; a teacher pointed it out that my drawings reflect that style, which urged me to dive and get to know it. Now I loooove love love Alphonse Mucha
The main prolems that I forsee is modeling her hair. With Art Nouvea everything is very curvacious and flowing, but at times the hair looks like one shape itself, and I personally loathe models who have triangular hair that looks very rinky dinky, cheap, and low-poly. To top it off, it looks really bad to me...when you animate it. Luckily her natural design had her hair bound in the back.
Give thy critque on her now, because I'm going to resketch a larger version full body (tunic and all), since that's what's needed for the concept art. I wish I can make her look my youthful...without overly caricaturizing (cartooning) her. In this era, the aesthetics of Japanimation (formerly known as anime) is huge...and I tend to be one to tread away from trends. I really don't want to be one among the masses that just draw....the anime aesthetics >> even if I can counter argue that it is all thanks to Disney XD I rather not give her the typical large 'anime' eyes.
//Although the assignment only requires one charrie...for the storyline..atleast for pretty much the beginning of it all I need to complete a Demeter (First rough sketch of her) + Her white mare form (gaaah need to practice with horsies), Hecate (posted her up already, but she needs to be re-done for Art Nouvea appeal), some nymphs...>>
Oh my gosh, YES. Alphonse Mucha is amazing, always admired his work. And I do somewhat see resemblance in the line work, with the hair particularly. I am very intrigued for your future projects. :3
Only crits I could think of giving now... would be to restructure the head a bit. Either the crown of her head is too small, or her forehead juts out too much. It's almost as though her head is smooshed down.
And I know what you mean about trends. It's nice to have a comfortable style of your own. I've been trying to find mine for a very long time now, and it's slowly finding a good place to stay.

Here's a transition of Persephone
Persephone 1- The first one I did in watercolors last year
Persephone 2-The caricature. I like this one the most, because she looks so youthful.
Persephone 3- This is the start where art nouveau came in. With the art nouveau, I'm trying to tackle the mystery of the hair, but throughout many art nouveau pieces, the subject looks close to realsim with just exaggerated hair and attire.
Persephone 4 The hair was getting 'somewhat' easier to do, but her head overall irks me to the kore. With all the erasing and re-adjusting her braids in the front to give her suitable forehead >> is not not centered. Also overal she isn't appealing to me.
Persephone 5 Did this late at night >> with a mirror. A teacher pointed out if it looks goofy in the mirror, then you need some tinkering, so I kicked myself around with this one. I think her eyes, nose, and mouth need to do a wiggle dance further down. The more I do the Art Nouveau the less younger and appealing she looks facial wise, but the hair is getting better.
At the end of the day, I found out that I really liked Persephone 2. It took me a while to pin that her round smooth face lacking defined angles and large doe-like eyes is what made her look younger.
Now I wonder what would be the outcome in mashing Persephone 2 + Persephone 5. Luckily I think I have some animating paper.
... All these Persephone pics are inadvertantly reminding me of a Steven King book. They're really good, especially the second, but I'm getting shivers.
