In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"I know an island world," he began, remembering his past visits to the Destiny Islands. The weather was really warm, and he loved it! "It´s surrounded by big seas. Maybe I´ll take you there, someday, if that´s ok with you." He liked the feeling of the sand on his feet; it felt so warm and cozy. Rain was cold, really cold. Therefore, he didn´t like it that much. However, the sea back at home and the one at the islands were warm, and he enjoyed spending time there.
"I don´t really know what´s my favorite season. Probably either Spring or Fall. Winter is extremely chilly, and even though I like warmth, Summer is too hot for my liking."
Well, Mikael wasn´t some kind of fire elemental humanoid, so the hotness really got into his nerves sometimes. He was a hume, after all! When the girl´s stomach made its request once again, the waitress returned to their table, placing their plates in front of them and their drinks beside the plates.
"Enjoy! <3"
Mikael rolled his eyes at Mary Anne as she left to do her business inside the kitchen. He turned to Antique, eager to see how she planned to eat the lovely spaguetti. "This is going to make my day." He grinned, grabbing his fork and spinning it around to catch some of the pasta before it headed to his mouth. Mmm, quite delicious!
"You'd really take me there?" Antique asked, her eyes brightening at the prospect of seeing an island world. "It sounds like fun! I'd love to go!" she said. She imagined alot of sunshine, and sand...things she wasn't too familiar with.
"It'd be a big change from long winters and the long rainy season...." she laughed. "And the all...night thng here."
And then the food arrived, and was set in front of her. She tilted her head. It sure did smell wonderfully! The smell alone was enough to make her mouth water--she wasn't sure what it was exactly, but it smelled like food--so she was pretty sure it was.
She lifted her fork and prodded it, a little suprised it didn't stick to it. Perhaps...
She pinched her fingers together and took a stray noodle from the pile.
Watching how the girl struggled with her spaguetti, Mikael couldn´t help snickering at the scene. He had been right; the girl had never used a fork to eat in her life. He tilted his head as she lifted a noodle with her fingers. Antique was completely clueless about what to do with it.
"Do you need help using that fork?" he asked, willing to show her how she was supposed to eat it. "Watch closely, the task is quite impossible for the inexperienced." Mikael joked, lowering his fork so it faced the plate of pasta vertically. He started rolling it clock-wise once again, catching a few noodles.
"I lied. It´s quite simple!"
He grinned, eating the spaguetti noodles. Mikael grabbed his cup of coffee, sipping some of the drink while he waited for the girl´s reaction and second attempt.
Antique continued to poke the spahg yetti with her fork, after she stuck the noodle in her mouth. It did taste rather good, but seeing the large pile of the pawsta on her plate, she knew it would be a long time before she finished it. Why would anyone waste their time trying to eat something like this?
Though it did taste good. So maybe that was why people ate it.
She lifted her eyes and watched Mikael eat it, realizing she wasn't doing quite that well at all. "Oh, so it's...like that?" she asked, using the fork to twist the spaghetti on the fork again, though it was obvious the movements felt very awkward to her.
She did eventually get some of the noodles on the knife, however...perhaps a little bit too much, and she put the noodles in her mouth.
"Mmmm....<3" she said, enjoying the food a bit more, though a bit of the sauce was left on her lips.
Mikael smiled, looking at Antique as she finally began to understand how to use a fork and eat spaguetti. Perhaps bringing her to that restaurant had actually been a good idea. She seemed to be a fast learner, much to the pyromancer´s surprise. He brough a hand up to his chin, rubbing it as Antique started to eat the noodle.
Boom.
It all started with a small chuckle, in reply to her reaction of delight. However, when Mikael noticed the tomato sauce in her lips... well, you could say he hadn´t laughed harder in his life. Oh boy, the she-knight was full of wonders and amusement. He was sure glad to be her friend.
"S-sorry... I just... couldn´t..." he kept laughing between the words, but eventually managed to calm down. His eyes were full of tears... of course, they were happy tears. "I´m sorry, it´s just that... you have some... sauce on your face." The man grinned, suppressing the laughter wanting to escape his lips.
Oh, the flavors of the marinara, the shape of the noodles, and the strange herbs were so amazing! Granted, she was not used to eating anything like it, but it certainly was good. Just as she was relishing the taste (Antique did enjoy her food), she heard snickering from across the table.
She glanced up from behind her plate, to observe Mikael breaking into a hysteria.
Her eyebrows raising in surprise, not able to figure out what was making him laugh so hard, she glanced behind her to see if anything was so funny--not even really taking any hint that what or who he was laughing at, was indeed...well, her.
"I´m sorry, it´s just that... you have some... sauce on your face."
Antique blushed, and pulled a napkin over her mouth.
"Oh? Well...you have some green between your teeth."
His laughter slowly died upon hearing those words. "Oh, damn..." Impressive; the girl had actually "burned" him with that comeback. He tried to set the herb loose, rubbing between his teeth. It was actually kind of embarrassing, having it happen in front of a girl. But hey, what would -you- do in his situation?
Mikael blushed, slightly frowning before turning to her and showing her his teeth.
"Is it gone now?"
Unfortunately, the green thingy ma thingy was still there, more visible to Antique now than ever. But of course, how would -he- know? The man quickly gripped the cup containing his coffee, bringing it to his lips as he sipped nervously with total embarrassment. Wait... why was he embarrased in the first place?
Bah, it didn´t matter... what he needed was a new subject to dig in.
"So... I see you are quite the spaguetti lover. Seems like I made the right choice."
Just keep smiling, Mikael. Keep smiling. Not like you have much of a choice, anyway...
Antique grinned mischiviously to herself, as she wiped off her mouth. Strange thing; she couldn't eat pasta correctly, but she dabbed the napkin over her mouth as if she were nobility. A strange mixture of habits to be displayed, really.
"Hey, don't worry about it! It's not....THAT bad..." she said, poking her fork at the spaghetti. "I really do like this though," she smiled. "It's really kind of a strange food. Is this some kind of animal?"
She twirled the fork into the spaghetti and clumsily lifted it up into her mouth, getting a little better at it, though her coordination was like a person who had just been exposed to chopsticks--the will to learn it was there, but more hunger than anything was prevalent.
"Is your spaghetti not good?" she asked.
"If the other knights could eat something like this...<3" she sighed dreamily. "It's almost as good as cake..."
"No, it isn´t some kind of animal. It´s some kind of pasta." he replied, offering a faint smirk. Mikael knew she had left her as clueless as before, since she obviously didn´t know what pasta was. He planned to have some fun with the knight (not that kind of fun!) for a while, and she was slowly playing along. He ran a hand through his hair, listening to the girl´s words before replying.
"Heh, it´s pretty good actually. A bit cold, though..."
His voice trailed off in disappointed before getting another mouthful of pasta in his mouth, courtesy of Mr. Fork. Suddenly, the cake comment went through, catching the pyromancer off guard and almost choked him. A small chuckle escaped his lips, his pale digits reaching for the cup which he brought to his lips before replying.
"Spaguetti cake, I would like to see that."
A wide grin graced his features as he silently laughed at his own joke. But would the naive Antique get it? That was mystery to everyone, indeed.
