In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A raised eyebrow was Xaldin's initial response to the man's offer, followed by a rare gesture--ho took the hand and shook it. "You can call me Xaldin." he said, noticing the shock after he shook, his hand twitching slightly with the shock. After the formalities had been said, he crossed his arms and turned to Axel. "I take it you are here for a reason?" he asked, his gaze asking the rest. He then turned around and faced Rogalii once again. "I am a colleuge of Axel's, and share his same hatred of the Heartless. I have come here to assist him if he was having trouble, but it seems that there is none to be seen, unless you count that...setback earlier."
Running a hand over his chin, Xaldin finished talking, curious on whether this human would let them into the city. For once, Xaldin did not think of revenge on the humans, but rather Axel's theory that they could be allies with them instead. A lot had changed in Xaldin lately, and this was probably his first big revalation. Perhaps more were to come, perhaps not. But Xaldin knew that whatever Axel decided to do, unless it involved acts of arson, he would follow.
Rolagii chuckled as Xaldin's hand twitched. He had forgotten to shield his hand properly to accommodate for the aftereffect of working with the Gummi generator's electricity boost. Ah, and red's name is Axel, good to know.
Looking between the two other men, Rolagii sighed. "Heh, doesn't everybody hate the heartless? I mean, they destroyed my world for sure... but not before I took down some beastly Behemoth varieties. Those sure are fun to fight with, but some kid on a dragon keeps destroying them before I can even find them."
The sarge shook his head and shrugged. "I'll bet you guys have all kinds of fun, but then again, as No-bodies, I'm sure its difficult to be public, Eh?" Rolagii laughed, revealing his larger than average canines. "Especially with guys like that Ienzo running around... hell, I knew he was heartless, but I thought it was just a figure of speech. I didn't make the connection that they could assume that kind of form..."
As Rolagii trailed off, he looked at the robot he had just repaired. How was it that it targeted these Nobodies, but not the heartless? Now that I think about it, you don't really see nobodies popping up in town. You really only see heartless. I wonder if that has to do with... hmmm...I wonder what would be better, being a heartless like Ienzo, or a No-Body like these two?
As he thought, he noticed Axel was glancing toward the city, almost excitedly. "Axel, my friend. You look like someone lit a signal beacon on the far side of town. Why do you wish to gain entrance into Radiant Garden so badly? More importantly, Why aren't Nobodies allowed in?"
Neon stood on the roof above the previous scene. He had just finished a job for a client and was heading home. As he went, he passed the battle and was shocked at what he saw.
What the... What's with these Heartless? He thought to himself. He still believed that Nobodies were just different types of Heartless that people had to deal with.
He watched the whole. The thought of a species killing members of their group was uncommon. He was rather impressed at the large man with the long hair. Was it even possible to control something that way? He also looked over at the man with the spiky red hair standing by, guarding someone who was fixing a sentry bot. That was when he realized that this man had called those dragon-like things.
His curiosity got the better of him. When the battle subsided and the two men were shaking hands, he jumped off the roof and ran over towards the scene.
"What's goin' on over here?" Neon asked in his usual cocky fashion. He turned to the two men with similar cloaks and gave them a once-over, seeing if he could spot anything strange about them. It didn't seem so. With an adjustment to his mask, he looked up at the group and smiled. Of course they couldn't see it, but it was good to think they did.
"Sorry. I shouldn't be so rude... Name's Black X." Neon said calmly while walking over behind the guy with odd gloves, who was shaking the hand of the of the other man. Neon didn't trust any of them, but since when was trust an issue?
The redhead turned away. By the looks of it, he and Xaldin had attracted too much attention. They'd have to get on with their mission... but that didn't mean he was done talking with the Lion of a man he'd been acquainted with. Quite the contrary. Rolagii had peaked his interest, but with the way things were shaping up, he'd have to put conversations on a back-burner.
Sticking a hand in his pocket, he used the other to cooly wave to the newcomer, giving him nothing but two simple words. "Name's Axel," he then offered a wink to his electric partner, both hands now resting in their hip-sleeves. "I'll catch up with you later, Rolagii. Over tea or something." Those silver-lined boots trudged lightly in a simple direction - toward the suburban lands that lie beyond the Garden's reach. He didn't bother looking over his shoulder toward his comrade, and instead just raised his voice a level to make sure it was heard. "Come on Xaldin, we'd better be on our way."
With a flourished spin on his heel, Xaldin turned after Axel, mimicking his wave and saying to Rolagii, "We will talk again, sometime soon." He then caught up to Axel and stopped hm for a second when they were out of site. "I have determined the location of Marluxia, and believe we can proceed with the mission." He gestured with his hand, opening a portal and gesturing for Axel to enter it.
((I am sort of breaking post order. Sorry, I just figured that this flow would work efficiently, since this'll be my last post in the thread. Forgive me.))
One simple nod expressed his appreciation for being considered to enter first. "Oh? Tell me more..." his famously sharp jade-green gaze locked assertively onto his comrade, and he disappeared into the door of shadow.
He was most interested in this turn of events... Xaldin had uncovered the information much quicker than the Flurry had given him credit for.
Ienzo writhed in the shadows, listening to the conversation. The Organization was rising, it seemed. They were going after that pink-haired pawn, Marluxia. Odd... The silver-eyed shadow drifted away from the scene as the two left. What could he do? Tifa was gone, as well as Squall (although the Gunblader would likely stab him instead of greet him). Maybe Merlin? Ienzo sighed.
What was next for Radiant Garden, his home?
He could feel in his (heart?) the olive branch that the nature boy Note had given him. He could also remember the others who had treated him nicely despite his nature and affiliations. The Heartless dissolved into the shadows, resting as he thought of a plan.
Who needed an organization of Darkness? He was the chosen son of Ansem the Wise, and this was his home, even before he was consumed by that Xehanort. He wasn't going to watch creatures of dark intent tear it apart.
[EXIT Ienzo]
BWAHAHAHA. Betcha didn't expect that. Remember that the Dark XII manufactured a certain type of cloth that hides dark signatures (hence our ability to walk a little lighter in contested zones).
Probably my last post for a bit. I will do my best to see you all again VERY soon!
Rolagii looked skeptically at the newcomer, but turned to nod at Axel as the two colleagues left. Turning back to the newcomer, Rolagii nodded. "Black X, eh?" He snorted. "interesting name, kid."
He grabbed the second snack bar from his pack on the ground, and bit it in half. He chewed it roughly, and when he finished, he put the rest back into his pack, along with the Gummi ship generator.
There was a quick prickling feeling on the back of his neck, but it went away as the hidden Ienzo left the scene. Rolagii rubbed the jagged scar that covered his useless left eye, and sighed.
Adjusting his gloves, Rolagii walked over to the masked young man. Sizing him up with his good eye, Rolagii grinned. "You look like you could be a fighter. What's with the toy on your back?" His grin revealed sharper than normal canines, accentuating the fact that the man looked like a Lion. He stretched, and then offered his hand to this mysterious youngster. "well, My name is Rolagii. You can call me Sarge."
When their hands made contact, the young man would notice a small electrical shock, similar to the one that you would get from fleece on a dry day, but with a little more power.
Neon gazed over as the two strange men left, but quickly turned back to this "Sarge". He gave a quick smirk, but walked over.
"Nice to meet ya," Neon said while grabbing Rolagii's hand. He winced as the charge went through, but disguised it as best as he could so to not show weakness. Still, he quickly let go so not to feel anything else.
"As for the 'toy' on my back, this thing packs a much bigger punch than one might expect." He pulled his spear off of his back and held it in his hand. He spun it around a few times to show it off.
At the same time, he got a closer look at the man. He noticed his beastly stature and got a closer look at the gauntlets he wore. He quickly decided that it would be a challenge to fight him and that he shouldn't engage him unless someone hired him to take this guy out.
He decided that he should pry for a bit more information. "Those are some interesting gloves you've got. You buy those at the pawn shop? Or are they harder find?"
Rolagii smiled, shaking his head at the youngster's display. So he could spin a spear, great for him.
The One-eyed Lion's adjusted the straps on his gloves as they were mentioned, and replied nonchalantly. "Well, it wasn't your average pawn shop, ya know? I had to do a little digging."
The black x's tone carried the edge of curiosity within it which made the Sarge skeptical. This kid is trying to figure out whether or not he could fight me... Well, it wouldn't be the first time anyway. He must be some kind of soldier of fortune.
"Hey, What kind of name is 'Black X' anyway? I mean, come on... real original, eh?" Rolagii's tone was playful, as if he were trying to frustrate the younger man standing in front of him, thinking of the code names used by his own squad back on Garon.
Neon smirked a little, although Sarge wouldn't be able to see it through the mask. He walked over to the left a few paces before turning back to Sarge.
"It's definitely not the name my mother gave me," He joked.
Neon still wasn't sure about this man. Whether he could trust him or not was still in the grey area. On the other side, he was pretty sure there was somebody out to get him. Neon was always taking out these military types. He decided to change the subject.
"So, those guys that were here a few seconds ago... What were they up to?" He asked. "I mean, there has to be something different about them. One summoned some creepy white Heartless, that's more than enough to be suspicious."
Neon looked up at the large man with a playful look, that was blocked by the mask again.
