In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Hikari sat on the rooftops of the First District, it was night time and everyone seemed to be at home asleep. Something about her today seemed a little bit different, she seemed...a bit more mature, she thought about it, but she couldn't put her finger on why she seemed so different. It had been four months since she last saw Tyson, she had been busy, and she'd done a tad bit of growing up, though still continued with her childish ways.
She was waiting for him, a few weeks ago, she had sent a letter to him, asking that he come see her because she had something to tell him, she'd made it clear in her letter how desperately she had to see him and where exactly he should meet her, she was nervous needless to say, she'd felt so strongly for him for quite some time now, and now, it was time for her to say. She missed him truly, she couldn't eat or sleep due to her feelings for him, she didn't know it he felt the same way, but she just had to tell him.
She feared about it ruining their friendship, but she couldn;t continue living as if nothing was wrong. She sighed, gazing at the stars, more and more seemed to have been going out lately, she didn't know why, maybe they had died? Or something like that.
Back to her feelings, she was dreading telling him, in case he might laugh at her for it and call her childish, she hoped that wouldn't happen, she just...really liked him, so far...he was the only person to have ever been nice to her, she didn't know if she had felt this way about anyone before she lost her memory, but she knew one thing...
It felt nice.
Nice yet...a bit scary, am awfully wonderful feeling. A small blush appeared on her cheeks as she remembered the time they had a duel, when they took a break, he had stolen her fruit...and she...she kissed him, not on the cheek, but on the lips in order to get him back, she giggled whilst rubbing her blushing cheeks. "Silly Hikki," she smiled to herself whilst pacing on the roof, still nervous and waiting, she hoped that he would arrive soon, as much as she was scared, she was also excited, she wanted to see him again.
Clad in her usual attire, but this time wearing a thigh length skirt the same colour as her jeans with a short white hem that flowed slightly, she wore brown knee-high boots that clicked as she paced, as always, she wore her bandana and charms in her hair, bracelets too and her locket. She looked slightly mature, but still acted like a child.
"I'm waaaiting" she smiled up at the sky, she knew today would be the day.
It was night time once again in Traverse Town, for four months he had been here where had the time gone?. This town now felt like a home to him though everybody who had there home taken from them probably felt the same way about this town, speaking of feelings he had recieved an important message from Hikari whom he had met four months before, and they were getting a long well.
He opened his eyes after being deep in thought he was lying on his back in bed fully clothed his sword Paradox was leaning against the wall beside him, he had just finished reading Hikari's letter. Tyson didn't blush whenever he thought of her anymore, and her letter plainly explained that she wanted to tell him something and that she desperately wanted to see him.
He made up his mind and got up he hid the letter in one of the drawers next to his bed, he had put a lot of thought into their relationship and wondered was he ready for it to go even further than friends?. He liked her a lot but what if it ruined their friendship?, there was only one way to find out and that was to take the risk who knows? it may even be better for him to accept Hikari, he enjoyed spending time with her more than anything that must count for something right?.
He gathered up his courage picked up his sword though he wouldn't need it and strapped it onto his waist, he held the handle for comfort and walked out of his bedroom into the town square. The street was almost desserted apart from a few shopkeepers who were finishing tidying up and stocking chairs, it was the perfect time for a moment that he was about experience with Hikari.
Tyson looked around as he walked where did the letter say again?, he always seemed to forget stuff when he was nervouse but he didn't have to look far he saw her sitting the roof above the accessory shop. She was looking up at the stars for a while and then looked back down again she seemd to be in her own world, probably thinking of what to stay if he turned up. Gathering a bit more confidence he ran up to the shop and jumped in the air to grab the edge of the roof and pulled himself up.
When he was on the roof he crawled up to Hikari and sat down beside her giving her a friendly hello.
"Hey Hikari it's been a while how're you?."
He said with a smile. [/blockquote]

As soon as Hikari laid eyes on Tyson, she tacklehugged him, smiling cheerfully, her nerves leaving her for a while. "Tyyy!" she snuggled her cheek against his "I've missed you! How are ya?" she then looked at him, arms still wrapped around him, her heart began to beat with haste "sorry, I've been busy lately! Been doing chores and helping out around town, I'm so sorry!" she sounded quite happy now that he was here.
"Heheh, ya still look cute like always, anything changed? Have you been eating? How about sleeping? Have you been ill? I'm talking too much, aren't I? Don't answer that one! How are you?" she smiled, repeating herself as she sat up, somewhat straddling him innocently.
"I'm glad you decided to show up! I was beginning to worry, I've missed you though" she could feel the excitement building up, but she decided to interogate him in order to see how he felt.
But, right now, she wanted to catch up a little, she wanted to have a little chat before telling him how she felt. They had all night to talk.
Almost as soon as he sat by her he was jumped on he wasn't suprised by this as he used to be, he had gotten used to how she acted around him. He felt his head hit the stone roof as she tacklehugged him down though it didn't hurt too much since she was very light, he gained a bit more control and hugged her back the warm feeling had come again and he felt his nerves leaving him every second, then she started talking very fast and he just barely caught a few questions of what she was asking.
He sat up again whilst still holding Hikari he could tell that she wasn't very good at making small talk "Look's like you're doing fine I'm not bad thanks, just keeping the town safe from heartless the usual." He said casually still thinking about what Hikari wanted to tell him, though there was no rush they had all evening to talk about their feelinfgs.

Hikari smiled and nodded as he spoke, it was nice to hear him talk. "That's great! The other day, a swarm of Heartless attacked me and I took them all out by myself, I think I'm getting stronger!" she sounded like a proud little kid "yesterday I ate some toast with jam, then I cleaned up, helped around the accessory shop! Look what I bought!" she giggled, showing him the three rings on her index, middle and ring fingers, one white, one blue and one red, the bands were silver with a jewel encrusted in each, representing Blizzard, Water, and Fire "they make my magic stronger, and they're pretty!"
Hikari liked her little charms and trinkets, pretty things made her happy. "Oh! By the way! I made ya something!" she smiled, reaching for her bag and rummaged around before pulling out a nicely wrapped box, she giggled and put it on his chest.
Inside was a small model of him carved out of wood and painted beautifully, each and every detail was exact, it was a specialty of hers, she smiled and waited for him to open.
So Hikari had been taking out Heartless too she definately seemed more mature, and he could tell that she had gotten stronger since they're last battle maybe they would have another one later. No now's not the time to be thinking about fighting, he couldn't help it the heartless had been keeping him on edge lately every time he set foot in the second district he had been attacked by those creatures, they weren't much trouble but he didn't like the same routine every time he stepped out of the first district.
He had only just realised that Hikari had given him something it was a neatly wrapped box, he held it up and shook it slightly to guess what was inside. He felt something rattle and was interested in what it was, without further adieu he pulled the wrapping off the bod then opened it. Inside was a wooden carving painted exactly right and looked almost like him, it was his usualy victory pose with his sword over his shoulder and one hand on his waist he also looked heroic.
Tyson highly appreciated the model and smiled brightly at Hikari though deep down he felt rather guilty for not getting her anything, he hadn't got a job well unless you count being on duty and taking out heartless otherwise he hadn't really worked anywhere. He had a lot of money when he was at his hometown but that currency was worthless in the world that he was in now. The only place he was staying at was the local hotel which let him stay for free if he went on duty every night.
He smiled at Hikari and his face was full of appreciation "Thanks a bunch Hikari it's perfect...but I don't have anything to give you. I haven't got much munny here unlike I did in my hometown." He said sadly though he liked his gift and he put it safely in his pouch.
Hikari just smiled, she could see the appreciation and happiness in his handsome features, though he seemed a tad bit upset. "Don't worry!" she giggled whilst hugging him tightly, unknown to her, her voice became tender "you're all I need" for a few minutes she stayed like that, embracing him whilst resting her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. Her heart, on the other hand, was beating like crazy, the warm feeling overwhelmed her once again as those minutes ticked by, she could stay like it forever, but she soon snapped out of it and looked at him.
"Hey, Tyson?" she smiled, the question she was going to ask, she made it seem totally innocent "ever been in love? I've never experianced it before, know how it feels?" she knew that it might've hurt him when she said she'd never felt it, even though she was feeling it now, but if he didn't like her that way, it wouldn't hurt, and if he told her how it felt, it either meant he had been in love or was in love.
He cheered up a bit after Hikari had said that he was all she needed though he would have to find a job somewhere and earn some Munny but there didn't seem to be any offers at the moment, he was slightly dissapointed by that he'll work all that out tommorrow. He let Hikari rest on him he felt her warm features touch his chest, she seemed to like just lying there listening to his heart beat Tyson rested his head lightly on hers and they sat there for a few minutes, though it felt like an hour.
Hikari's question brought him back to earth, he remained silent for a few seconds. When was the last time he had been in love? it was a strong word but he hadn't had a relationship with any woman before, and he hadn't seen his parents for months although he missed his father he knew he couldn't bring him back. His mother might still be alive but she was most likely lost to the darkness when his world was destroyed.
He thought about the warm and 'nice' feeling he got whenever he was with Hikari maybe that was love?, most people would say love was blind. But it didn't feel like that around Hikari, maybe it was love at first sight, he remembered his first meeting at how well they had worked together in a team fighting the heartless. This could work out between them he decided to tell Hikari his true feelings.
He took a deep breath "Listen Hikari...I've known you for some time now and I'm crazy about you..." He said quietly though he was being serious "Remember when we first met?, how we both took out the heartless? I enjoyed every moment especially with you we make a pretty good team, and I was wondering...maybe you'd want to be more than just friends?."
He finished with a smile he didn't know if he worded everything right but he was telling Hikairi how much he wanted to be with her, well he gave it his best shot. [/blockquote]

Hikari just rested her head on his chest as he spoke, her stomach unsettled, her heart tangled and her thoughts were invaded, she could feel her chest growing tighter, her eyes widened and her cheeks reddened. This feeling felt so beautiful yet so chaotic, that was love. A beautiful chaos.
She took a minute to calm down and looked up at the tall boy with a shy smile on her lips. "Ever since...we met...I...I..." she was nervous even though he had admitted his feelings for her "...I've felt the strongest feeling towards you, a feeling that...made me...want to hug you and...k-kiss you...I feel so happy with you...and I'm protected around you...words can't explain how I feel..." she began to look away shyly as she continued as if daydreaming "I realise now that I...like you...maybe even..." she blushed "...love you..."
Once she had said it, she felt relieved, as if a weight had been lifted from her, she was too shy to look at him, her heart was increasing speed with every beat.
Tyson listened to her every word his heart beat racing after every minute, despite that he had already said his feelings he felt even more nervous now. So Hikari did love him, he always guessed that she did though he didn't know why it took her so long to tell him, he could see the shy-ness show in her face he knew that he had the exact same look in his, it must've been fate that brought them together and he was happy that they met connected, and eventually fell in love with eachother.
There was silence between the two though not an awquard one more like quiet time for them to calm down, Tyson needed to calm his nerves and this silence was just what he needed he felt like a great load had been lifted off his shoulders after he had told Hikari how he felt, but he didn't know what would happen next.
He decided to break the silence after calming his nerves "R-really?, that's great i'm glad you feel the same way Hikari!." He said with a big grin on his face they were officially a couple now, he gave her a comforting hug to make sure of that. He felt so happy now that he couldn't keep a straight face..
Hikari couldn't stop blushing, she wondered why he was so silent, had she upset him somehow?
As she went to look at him, she soon found herself in his arm, she held her breath for a moment before letting it out. Smiling, she hugged him back, nuzzling into his neck before whispering shyly. "I-I...I love you...Tyson..." she then pulled away slightly so she could look at him, she smiled whilst gazing into his crystal blue eyes and stroking his creamy vanilla hair from his face, her hand crept back through his hair, tenderly massaging his scalp whilst lacing her fingers through his hair, she just couldn't help but smile at him, she watched his reactions whilst she lovingly played with his hair with one hand and gently brushed her fingers across his neck with the other. He was so...beautiful...
Before he had the chance to speak after she said those words, she slowly moved in close, her nose gently brushed against his and her hand gently placed on his cheek.
Still stroking his hair, she kissed him tenderly...
He allowed Hikari to stroke his hair though he usually didn't like people touching his hair but Hikari was an exception, he looked into her eyes and saw in them the admiration for him. He blushed slightly no-one apart from the people in his hometown had admired him before, it felt good to be apreciated he was just glad he found someone who thought the world of him it gave him a reason to keep fighting, someone to protect.
He wasn't fighting at the moment which was a change he thought as Hikari continued to stroke his hair and admiring his features, he had been spending the past few months fighting heartless it started to get rather dull over time. But now he could spend the remainder of his days with Hikari, though he would like a change of scenery his ship was finally fixed and he could leave to explore other worlds if he wanted too, but for the moment he would enjoy spending time with Hikari.
Tyson leant forward just as Hikari was and there lips touched into a long and soft kiss. He wished he could live this moment forever but there were other places to explore other than Traverse Town.
Hikari smiled into the kiss, her cheeks warm from blushing brightly, she didn't know if this had been the first time she had been in love, but it felt wonderful to her, she had been alone in this world for a year, but what she didn't know was that she had been alone all her life, but...now...she wasn't alone anymore, she had Tyson with her, she knew he'd never leave her...
She giggled slightly whilst deepening the kiss, but didn't go too far, she wasn't ready for that yet. Each and every time their lips touched her body tingled, her heart warmed, she did what her body told her and wrapped her arms gently around his neck, she could've stayed like this always, she so wanted to, but she needed to breathe.
Slowly and shyly, she broke the kiss, opening her eyes like she'd been dreaming. Hikari blushed as she stared into his eyes, smiling at him shyly. "I...love you, Tyson" she giggled, hugging him tightly, she then thought and looked up at him.
"You won't leave me...will you?" she smiled, but sounded a bit sad.

He heard Hikari giggle and they broke the kiss Tyson turned away looking up at the stars he noticed that they had been going out lately, he wondered what that meant stars wouldn't normally dissapear. Tyson couldn't understand it there was so much for him to learn out there and he was ready to explore the worlds but he couldn't leave Hikari not after they had just expressed their feelings for eachother. Maybe he didn't have to travel alone they could go together it would definately be more fun, and besides he would have someone he could rely on if the going got tough.
Tyson thought for a moment before asking "Hey Hikari instead of me leaving the town on my own, how about you come a long with me?, my Gummi Ship has enough room for three people so what do you say?." He hoped that she would agree to come with him it would mean a lot to him.
Hikari began to wonder if he really would leave her, if he did...she wouldn't know what to do, she'd be heartbroken, the first guy she had ever liked leaving her? She didn't want to think about-...wait...
She soon snapped out of her thoughts, registering what he had just asked her. "Wh-What?" she seemed surprised yet happy "y-you want me to go with you? To...other worlds??" she didn't know why, but the way she felt right now made it seem like he had just asked her to move in with him or as if he'd proposed to her, she was happy.
"Of course I will!!!" she giggled, throwing her arms around him, knocking him back so that she was on top of him "Hikari doesn't ever want to leave Tyson's side, not ever! I'll always be with you, Ty, always, I'll never let you be alone, I love you!" she snuggled into his chest, feeling tears in her eyes "I don't want to be alone anymore, Ty" she said softly whilst looking up at him, smiling "I know that you'd never let anything bad happen to me, and...well..." she blushed, looking away for a moment "we'll always be there for each other...to protect each other".
She gently placed her warm hands on his cheeks, stroking them gently whilst gazing down at him adoringly. "You...make me feel...so happy, Tyson...I...don't feel empty anymore...thanks to you, I...you've finally given me someone to protect...to love..." she felt a bit shy with being a bit sappy, but...she really did feel strongly about him, she didn't want him to live alone.
Deciding that she was ready to do this due to the amount of love in her heart, Hikari leaned her head forward, and again, she kissed him, but...this kiss was different. Loving yet firm, she wasn't sure what she was doing, but just did what she felt was right, her mouth seemed to open slightly every time her lips connected with his, was that indicating something?
Surprisingly, she was calm, focussed on the kiss even though she was blushing slightly. Every ten seconds or so, the kiss went from passionate to emotional to affectionate to tender then back to passionate.
It was an amazing feeling, it was odd to her though, she always thought as herself as childish, but this action seemed to prove her wrong to some degree.
