In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This was NOT going well. on top of Lakuris serious freakuing out, shewas now being held, laying ontop of Mikhail. This should not be happening! I should not be here! I should be with Kyriu rght now, makeing sure he's ok, I shouldn't be here, laying on Mikhail! he's not my boyfriend, this isn't right!!!! She thought angrely in her head. "Let me go Mikhail!!!!" she screamed at him and tried to pull herself up, and away from him, but he was too strong.
This proceeded for quite a while, until Lakuri started to exhaust herself from all of her screaming, and struggleing. Lakuri began to calm down... in a way. Her semi violent efforts to escape from Mikhails grasp became weaker as she wasnow quickly loseing her energy.
And after a little while more... Lakuri seested moveing compleatly, and fell asleep on Mikeal, although she was still whineing in her sleep, her mind still thinking about Kyriu, and her body being confused as to who she was laying on... since usually it was Kyriu. "Kyriiii, please be ok... I need you." she would randoml whine in her sleep, or somthing along those lines. This was anything but a peiceful sleep for her.
"Only Cowards hide in the shadows... unveil yourself... sinister invader."
Empty threats, filled with nothing but mere words and lies. His words did not frighten her; they did not even managed to shake her will. No, she had heard those kinds of people in the past and in the end they lied beside her... covered by pools of crimson blood. Rosalinda's eyes narrowed as she remained hidden from view, her mind working as she created a strategy to face the duo. First things first: it was a two versus one fight and, even though she had great part of the dream's control, they could break the shield around the dream if they really tried.
The sorceress had to keep them apart, eliminating one of them at a time. It would take a while, yes, but she would be successful in the end.
A delvish grin graced her features as he concentrated on her surroundings, being able to silently create three equal entities. They were going to fight inside the other male's mind and the witch easily twisted the illusions' faces to match the one dear to him. They were each covered in full grey armor, all three females wielding similar long blades. And with a soft whisper, they were gone and ready to strike.
The first one leaped out of the dark shadows behind a kneeling Kyriu, intending to distract the wiser personality. Rosalinda knew the attack of the first knightress would be block, and that was exactly her plan. Soon after, the other two females would emerge from the shadows as well, attempting to strike Ryu's flanks and incapacitate him.
"Fools, the darkness shall feed on your insolence. Prepare to be defeated!"
Her voice echoed all over the place, apparently coming from all the possible directions. She was sure going to enjoy this...
He was relieved when her struggling began to turn weaker, fainter and less frequent. She had probably been tired out by the constant wiggling and screaming, so much that she had begun to fall asleep. He didn't move for a couple of minutes and when he was sure she had really fallen into a deep sleep he released the girl's body from his grasp. The situation was... kinda embarrassing if you looked at it from certain point of view but there was no time to thing about that.
Mikhail quickly squirmed away, careful enough not to wake her up. As soon as he was free to move he lifted Lakuria's lithe body, carrying her in his arms before leaving her on the nearby couch. It would probably take a while for her to wake up but the pyromancer would need to remain nearby just in case she was filled with another of those worry trances.
"Excuse me, ma'am!" he called out, trotting to catch up with the nurse. She had stepped out of Kyriu's room and she seemed to be quite in a... hurry. "The man in there... how is he doing?"
Well this was unexpected. None of this was good, and it just kept getting worse and worse. RYu was being as useless as ever, and now he had to deal with Kuri clones just great! Now he wasn't about to fight kuri even if they were clones..he's seen enough movies they could affect the reall Kuri or something unless he used magic..which he didn't.
Now how was he going to defeat this person without any magic...Ryu was too busy..and he was practically destroyed so what else could he do? The student could feel the person behind him..if he didn't move he was going to die...and then Kuri would be alone...he couldn't allow that.
He had to move....somehow. Then came back again that pain in his head....why wouldn't it leave!! it was almost like he...was...being... '' Oh my..'' Kyriu didn't get to finish his sentence at all but at that moment he realized something...of course he wouldn't remember any of this thankfully.
For some reason those cracks on his body stopped moving but they did light up quite brightly as if he was about to explode. Oddly though something worse happened. He simply fell over and laid on his face. Kyriu was luckly that he fainted this would haunt Ryu for quite some time though.
If all this wasn't enough a rather large crack appeared on Kyriu's back. And without hesitation something crawled out of it. At first it just seemed to be in liquid form but it oddly took the shape of Kyriu himself. More accurately it looked like Kyriu just with purple hair and possibly much thiner.
It turned it';s gaze towards the person behind Kyriu then simply graped the attackers neck with blinding speed and began to rapidly choke her.
As it did this the liquid monster continued to resemble Kyriu however it seemd to be a more twisted version.....to put it simply..some time in an alsylum would do it some good.
Kyriu's vitals were starting to crash rapidly. If he didn't wake up soon...things wouldn't end well.

If only Lakuri could help this situation.. but there was really nothing the poor girl could do, let alon the fact that she was fast asleep on a couch outside of the room where Kyriu was being kept from her. Although still asleep, once her body felt a bit more rested, it started o move around agian, although her state of counsiousness was still asleep. Lakuri began to whine, and grab onto anything she possibly could, since now, she felt no one around... she was all alone.
All of this stiring cause Lakuri to actually move enough, to roll herself off of the couch, onto the floor. This, naturally woke the poor girl up agian.. and she was very confused now. Where am I? she thought as she drowsily looked around. Lakuri haddn't acctually had the chance to look at the hospital, through her tears and scrambling around. she lifted herself off of the floor, and looked around. there was few people around, in other seats, but no one she knew..... she was alone, in her least favorite place in the world. Lakuri then sat back on the couch, and waited. She knew that Kyriu was here somewhere... but no clue where, and now Mikhail was gone too. Lakuri pulled her knees up to her face and began to cry agian... the one thing she hated most... was to be lost and alone... how most of her life has been.
Before the kind old lady could give him a reply, Mikhail was able to listen to the little machine probably attached to Kyriu's body rapidly beeping all over the place, causing a major movement of doctors, nurses, common citizens... in short, people were moving all around, some probably in panic. The pyromancer was tempted to go inside the room and see what was wrong but he was soon stopped by the nurse he had addressed earlier, who ordered him to wait at the... well, waiting room until she had news regarding the man's condition.
Fucking old lady.
Cursing under his breath, Mikhail jogged back toward the couch where he had left the sleeping lady of pink... only to find her sobbing, holding her kness for dear life as she had another break down. Damn... could this day get any worse? A soft sigh escaped his lips as he began to approach Lakuria once more; he was probably going to regret this later.
"Hey... it's ok, I'm back." he began, hesitating for a moment before placing a hand on her shoulder. The man swallowed hard for a moment, taking a deep breath before he continued to speak to her. "The nurse said Kyriu was doing fine... they had managed to stabilize him. They are just fixing some minor details before he can get visitors."
((I am just going to go ahead and say the clones' hits connected, lol))
Traya smiled. This was going perfectly... so perfectly. She could taste victory by now; the boy's mind would be shattered and his body would be hers to control. The best part? She'd bring sorrow upon someone... someone was bound to feel what she had felt. Someone was bound to break and she'd visit such people once she was out of her damn prison.
Ryu did not attempt to stop the first illusion's attack; oh well, it would've been more dramatic if he had done so but it was of no consequence. The remaining duo of clones successfuly ambushed the wise being within Kyriu, probably incapacitating him for a while. Good, he would be unable to help his protegé. The clone striking Kyriu from behind smirked, confident that she would bring an end to the boy's mind. Unfortunately for her and her master, this was not the case.
Suddenly, a horrible hole emerged from Kyriu's back as the boy seemed near self explosion. The girl was forced to stop the attack for some reason and she eyed the great crack with horror in her eyes. "Strange... this had never happened to my clones... I wonder what caused her to stop..." Suddenly, some weird... strange... creepy being squirmed outside Kyriu, like some damn strange jellyfish. It soon morphed into a twisted version of his "parent", quickly proceeding to grasp its attacker and attempt to destroy her.
Rosalinda cursed under her breath, commanding the other two clones to march forward and strike the purple haired entity from behind. Meanwhile, the clone victim watched the new "Kyriu" with horror, her eyes wide as she struggled to speak, pleading. "S-stop... please..." If the pressure continued to be applied on the illusion, she would simply vanish seconds before the other two's blades connected with the hostile male.
Things weren't going so well. Firstly Ryu was too busy wondering what was going on, that he didn't notice the ambush. For some reason his reflexes weren't as good as in the real world....how very strange. He was able to block at least one attack before hitting his head on a nearby wall and knocking himself out. Something was definately wrong.
Meanwhile the purpled haired Kyriu was still strangling the life out of the clone. It didn't take long for the clone to disappear. There wasn't time to dance though as two blades were suddenly impaled into the creature.
It stopped for a while as if shocked. Oddly though it simply grinned for no apparent reason. It was a liquid substance what would blades do to it? Instead of turning around a sudden jet of black liquid shot from it's back towards the other clones.
Each turned into hands and started to strange the remaining clones.
Back in the real world things were getting stranger and stranger. For some reason Kyriu suddenly stablized and was healing rapidly. Maybe if whatever was happening kept up he would wake up.

Lakuri felt a hand placed on her shoulder, and only slightly looked up, figureing that it was one of the starngers around, or a nurse.
Once she was fully aware however, that the being was Mikhail, she quickly jumped up and threw her arms around him. Then she heard what he had said about Kyriu, and she acctually smiled, for the first time through all of this madness. She looked p at Mikhails face, and still smiled a little, while wiping the tears from her eyes. Kyriu would be ok... he just needed time to rest, which was compleatly fine with her, as long as she got to keep him.
Lakuri hadn't really noticed till now, because her mind was filled with thoughts of Kyriu... but her entired body hurt... mostly from the scrapes on her bare arms and legs she had recived, chaseing after Mikeal, and she was just sore from all of the running around of the day. Lakuri Squeaked now knowing of her pained body. "Mikhail? Do you think the doctor people would be nice and heal all thses scraps I have on me? or do they just deal with more things like Kyriu...?" she asked, showing him a burning scrap that was all along her forearm. "Cause all of these are starting to really hurt...."
He couldn't help sprouting a look of surprise on his face as the girl quickly rose to hug him in glee, as if he had just saved her from a terrifying building in flames. His nose wrinkled in awkwardness as he tried to recover his usual expression, slowly wrapping his arms around her. Now that he could think of it, the situation was quite uncomfortable... wasn't it? After all, he had just met Lakuri and she -was- already taken.
She seemed quite relieved by the "news" Mikhail had brought her. Well, they weren't actually real... and though it brought a good sensation to his heart when she smiled with joy he couldn't help but feeling quite... guilty. Those words of hope were nothing but utter lies and it wouldn't be good if Kyriu turned out to be...
No, he shouldn't be thinking that way.
Kyriu would surely survive... he had to survive.
Lakuri needed him so much, after all. If he was to perish... she'd be surely devastated by it. And then, she asked to be healed. Damn it, he couldn't let her speak to any of the doctors or nurses; she'd surely ask about Kyriu and they'd tell her what was really going on. Mikhail couldn't let that happen... it would break her completely.
"Oh, that isn't really necessary! I- I can heal those myself!" he nervously replied, raising his shaking hand to gently caress her wounds as he channeled energy in order to cast some cure spells on her. Hopefully this would be enough to cease her pain; he so did not want her to speak with the medical staff.
This was proving to be trickier than she had expected. Rosalinda frowned as the entity began to leech energy out of her clones; they were no match for this... creature, this thing. She had never seen something similar and perhaps it would be strong enough to eventually find and defeat her.
That couldn't happen... no matter what.
And so, Traya was forced to retreat once more, fearing this strange creature and not ready to perish just yet. She gripped her staff tightly as she walked out of the shadows just in time to see the remaining Kuri clones perish at the purple head's hand. She glared at him, thinking about staying to fight him herself but quickly dismissed the idea.
"This is not over, young one. I shall be back..."
And with that, she was gone... and the shield was broken.
Under normal circumstances Kyriu would have no problem waking up.....this wasn't those times....sadly. Since his mind was now cleared of treats....the strange creature was simply standing around not doing anything in perticular. A few seconds later it seemed to start changing shape again.
In a short while it took the form of yet another version of Kyriu. Unlike it's previous form however, this one looked quite normal the only difference it had from usual Kyriu was it's weird, and rather large orange eyes. ''' Well that was a waste of time.....same too....I thought it would be fun..ah well.'' it said while letteing out a lazy yawn.
Now that Ryu was well...sleeping....he wouldn't mind losing his position for a while right? The odd Kyriu walked over to the samurai and dragged him to a hospital room before locking it with a key.
'' Ok...now let's see what else....ah!'' with that the being clapped it's hands once before the hospital disappeared leaving nothing but the light of the exist. Once that was done the being simply faded into the shadows. Oddly though once this was done Kyriu himself seemed to wake up and shook his head...whatever cracks that were on his body....no longer seemed to be present...so weird. Without noticing the change in surroundings Kyriu decided that it was best to head out of here. After the students exist the light simply went out, perhaps it would have been better If Kyriu wasn't healed so quickly.
Kyriu lazily opened his eyes as if he woke up from a rather long nap. Several doctors were simply looking at him in awe. In he really didn't understand why. He noticed a rather annoying flat line noise next to him. He simply hit it with his fist before it started beeping again.
'' Broken.'' was all he said to the doctors. That seemed to clear most things up for some reason, and it wasn't long before they stopped with the whole staring thing. They insisted that he stayed in bed however since they still hadn't finished checking up on him.
Kyriu still couldn't tell what all the fuss was about....after all he felt...really really good. So what was the issue...nothing strange was happening....just um....why was Ryu so quiet? In fact...why was he was so calm?....weird.
The nurse went over to Kuri and Mikeal to tell them the good news....they were also cleared to visit him...but for some reason the nurse decided to just stand there believing that she might be interubting something.
Meanwhile the only thing bothering Kyriu was his odd silence...he hadn't said a word for a while.....so freakin strange.

Lakuri was a bit uneasy when mikhail said that he would heal her... although this was a tiny bit awkward concidering where her injuries where... Once she got over this semi akwardness, Lakuri smiled at Mikhail as he healed her.
"Thank you mikhail, I drained a lot of my magic on Kyriu.... otherwise I would have done it myself." she said and hugged him agian. Now.... it was time to wait. Knowing that Kyriu would soon be alright to see, and not being able to know exactly when... was killing her! Lakuri looked from Mikhail, to around the room at the various people running around back to mikhail ect. (( lookit your man, now back at me now back at your man now back to me lololol )) Lakuri was still quite tired, not haveing slept for very long, or very well, so she decided that she would just lean on Mikhail's arm while they waited. "You don't mind if I lean on you... do you Mikhail?" she asked while fighting with her eyes that where attempting to close agian. Even if he said he minded... Lakuri wouldn't move on her own, she was too tired. She alowed her eyes to close as she simply dozed off agian, leaning on Mikhail still.
She wouldn't awake agian until she heard a nurse speaking to.. mikhail? Her? she couldn't really tell, but they mentioned Kyriu. Lakuri lifted her head and looked up a bit drowsily at the nurse. She was saying somthing about Kyriu.... and then it clicked in. she could see him! Lakuri sort of jumped up, although sitting, and at that nearly fell over because the sudden movement made her sort of dizzy. "Where is he?" Lakuri exclaimed, and looked hopefully at the nurse. She seemed to be a bit cconfused by Lakuri's sudden excitement, after all she was just asleep a minute ago.
The nurse pointed down a hallway and before she could say anything else, Lakuri bolted off... which wasn't the best idea... she didn't know what room Kyriu was in... so she peaked in pretty much all of the ones in the area until she found him.
There was still a few doctors in the room, who all gave her cirtain directions and such, which Kuri in no way listened too. Why would she? Lakuri simply pushed them out of the way, and hopped up and sat on the bed next to Kyriu. Shewould have liked to just tackle him... but she wasn't exacty sure if that would hurt him. Instead, she leaned over and lightly gave him a kiss before speaking to him, glareing, and swatting away at the complainging doctors that were telling her to back off.
"How are you feeling Kyrii?" she asked and smiled at him, and held his hand. "Don't you ever, ever, ever scare me like this agian mister. I thought you died on me." she added and wiped away the water in her eyes, from beig so happy to see him agian. "I love you." she said and started to stroke her thumb over Kyriu's hand, and waited to see if he wuld speak to her.
"It's no problem, really! I'm used to act as a healer..." ...even though he was quite a terrible one. After all, the magic he had learned was not intended to be used on others but rather on himself. The armies back home had had experienced healers among their ranks in case something went wrong (usually all the time) and Mikhail's cure spell was pretty much useless unless he had somehow been seperated from his squad.
Indeed, he had been quite a rash one back when he fought for his kingdom and was usually one of the first to drop enemy blood over the battlefield. The pyromancer had often been scolded for such instinctive actions but they wouldn't relieve him from the army; after all, he was quite skilled and the seeds of his sympathy had been spread across the Blazing Dragoons.
Upon feeling the death of his home, though, he became quite calm and reserved when it concerned his actions, perhaps even managing to caress a self-conscious personality. It was quite a hard thing to deal with... he had to live knowing that all of his friends and family were long gone. But of course, this depression was gone as well but some of its scars were still there.
He simply ignored them.
"You don't mind if I lean on you... do you Mikhail?" The request naturally caught him off-guard and his expression quickly showed it.
"..." His lips opened to whisper an answer, but after realizing the girl had fallen into a deep sleep he simply closed them once again. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he too closed his eyes, intending to get a little bit of rest as he waited... hoping Kyriu would get alright...
Meanwhile, the old woman walked out of the emergency room and made her way to the waiting lounge, were the pair sat with their eyes closed. She blinked as she observed them, hesitating for a moment before tapping the male's shoulder, hoping she hadn't interrupted anything...
However before she could explain Kyriu's situation fully, Lakuri suddenly jumped back to life and squealed in glee as she learned that her beloved one had survived. She immediately demanded to see him and the nurse couldn't do anything but comply. Mikhail, on the other hand, simply remained at the waiting room, well knowing that his presence was not required.
Kyriu was still wondering why he was being so quiet when Kuri came in. He didn't expect her to push past the doctors and then sit on next to him though. Not that he minded that much. He was happy.....just so very very very clam. It was wierd too, not a single lecture from the samurai either......what was going on?
His thinking stopped though when Kuri started talking to him. It took him a while to even understand what she was saying. However he was glad that she was there. Although he could tell that something was very wrong...or at least different.
He held Kuri's hand, and then tried to speak.......which is when the problem started.
Nothing came out...he tried again...but once again blank. Almost like that happy spark he always carried with him was missing....maybe not missing but hidden. To put it more clearly it's like someone switched off a light bulb in a dark room.
In other words Kyriu was fine he just no longer had something.
This was a very big issue. What the heck happened..he spoke just a few seconds ago......right?
'' Mad'am It would be best If you allowed us to examine him further....as you can see he's tired.....and judging by his actions his voice isn't working properly either.'' the main doctor stated.
Kuri had been though a lot making her feel worse wasn't going to help. Kyriu gestured for the doctors to leave. And seeing as how they were outnumbered they went to bother the man outside with test results and such....which had he been able to speak....Kyriu wouldn't allow.
After they were alone Kyriu simply sat up and hugged Kuri. He then took the notepad and pen that the nurse seemed to have forgotten about, then began writting.
'' I love you too..how are you feeling Kuri? And...I'm sorry for nearly dying on you....sort of a rough day.....glad your ok though! ''
He added the smiley face just to lift the mood then showed what he wrote to Kuri. This would have to serve as his method of communication for now...at least until he had enough rest.
Honestly though behind the happy face he had on him.....Kyriu was actually feeling quite terrible......definately the worst day ever.

Lakuri was very happy to feel Kyriu holding her hand agian, although she was a bit worried by the fact that he seeed unable to speak.
She then heard one of the doctors speaking to her, which Lakuri half ignored, the other half being her glareing very meanly at the doctor out of the corner of her eye. Lakuri was in no mood to be pushed away from Kyriu right now.
Once they where leaveing, she sassyly stuck her tounge out at them, and then tured her attention back to Kyriu, who soon sat up and hugged her. Lakuri placed hr arms tightly around Kyriu, never wanting to let go of him agian. She did though, when he started to write somthing down. Now, at the ame time that this was pretty cute.... it also was kind of horrible at the same time.... Lakuri could bearly read! She'd only been through an entire year of kindergarden, then various other "schools" throughout her years... reading was just somthing she didn't need all that offten!
Lakuri started at the paper Kyriu had written on for quite some time, trying to figure out what it said. She got a little of it, like I love you too, and a few other of the easier words, but the rest she just stared blankly at.
"Kyrii, you know I bearly know how to read right? I can only get a little of what you wrote down..." she said, but smiled a him anyways. "It's aright though, since you obviously can't speak, i'll work for now." she said then looked into his eyes a minute before leaning in to kiss him. "You should probably lay back down Kyrii, you need to rest still." she said and smiled at him. "I'll make sure you get better, I promise!" she added.
Somthing did enter her mind though, since it was quite she could think. Where did Mikhail end up? she ran off so fast she haddn't really kept an eye on where he went.... hopefully he didn't leave, she still wanted to thank him....
Blaaaarg, skip me. Mikhail doesn't have much to do.
EDIT: On a second thought, I doubt if I'll be able to keep up with all my threads. This seems to be the only one that has opened an exit for Mikhail, and I must take it. I apologize if this screws up some plans :/, just assume Mikhail left the hospital.
