In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I want to apologize beforehand for the retarded formatting of this thread. I wrote it in a nice pretty outline on Word which got destroyed on here and the more I tried to fix it, the worse it looked so...here's hoping this isn't too confusing.
So here is where we talk logistics and generate ideas and suggestions until we reach a general concept for a plot. Out of thirty people, the majority ruled in favor of creating something new. I believe in doing so, we can still incorporate some of the old from a new, more efficient angle.
Here is an outline of what I’ve observed people talking about the most. It’s not complete but it’s what I’ve managed to gather so far.
1) Mod “DM/Dungeon Master” a) Add random events, such as Heartless attacks and magical items. b) Pick up parts to move the plot along. i) Heartless ii) Incidental characters such as street vendors, moogles, soldiers, random ensemble. c) Subtly guide plot when appropriate according to the general plot outline. i) Keyblades ii) Kingdom Hearts iii) Central plot concept if developed, such as a Door to the Light. d) System of checks and balances.
2) The Final Fantasy integration a) Complete, comprehensive timeline. b) Character strengths and weaknesses in relation to the Kingdom Hearts universe.
3) Plot Ideas a. 1) Nulls-Heartless-Nobody Concept. a.2) Increase in Heartless, plot revolving around solving the mystery of the Nobodies and putting everything back together i.) The Door of Possibility ii)) Divine guides, such as goddesses and gods from various Worlds. b) One central evil character creating trouble. OC or canon. i) One returned Heartless with a purpose, such as gathering an army. ii) A rebel with a cause. iii) One Nobody with a purpose, such as gaining a Heart by means of Kingdom Hearts. e) Illness among Keyblade bearers A) Light and Dark within the Heart. B) Keeper of the Keys. f) Magical relic i) Race for some desirable relic with magical properties valuable to Heartless, Nobodies, or Heroes, or people in general.
g) Personification of The Door??
h) Twenty years later…
I’m going to call this next section the “Previews.”
As we discuss, I will constantly edit the Previews, incorporating what gets debated, changing them, deleting until we generally seem to come to an agreement. Then we can vote on it again. Repeat process until we’re pretty satisfied.
What I’m writing below is just a STARTER and WILL change as we go.
PREVIEW:
Two to three DMs will work together behind the scenes, adding random events, controlling the Heartless, incidental characters, and subtly guiding the plot. One will be in charge of Keyblades specifically. They will only DM Plot Threads and will be responsible for working along side the Historians.
They will not enter threads with their own characters in them and if they are also on the staff as a historian, they will not enter Worlds which they are keeping record of. We will elect these DMs from our site and at least one will currently be a non-staff member. They must be active and have easy communication with each other. If one makes a decision on the boards, the other two may cancel it. If all three are in a dispute, Yuffie or Bluey will make an executive decision.
What would the Keyblade Keeper do, exactly? Award Keyblades to members, or keep the ones we have in check?
My main concern and comment: If we go with option 3-b, we need to make sure that the character achieves something, opposed to being foiled by the forced of good. What good is an evil character who gets whipped up on all the time? I think having him appear rarely, or winning several major victories will help build him into a threat as opposed to a pest.
Well, not all of these Idea necessarily have to separate.
Ideas like 3B and 3ii could fit together depending on how we worked it and so on. not only that, but the Divine Intervention idea is more of a cross between a mod spot and a plot since the Divine beings can be the mods in themselves. *shrugs.* It's going to be hard to decide on a plot without just winging it and having someone post a whole plot concept and discussing it. Then we can do a trial and error system to weed out the possibilities.
I'm guessing hypothetical plot ideas we could toy around with. Perhaps we could add in a subboard for non-canon, non-plot, alternate futures. My old X-Men Evolution board implemented a board like that and it was a smashing success. I think it would be very very interesting if we had something like that here, so people ould play around with possible aspects without them having a repercussion against their characters.

oook
This is to help form some kind of collaboration for a new plot.
The pathway to Kingdom Hearts is out of sight from the sky as it faded away from the views of The World That Never Was once the castle collapsed and the end of Xemnas, Xehanort's nobody. ----
One night after days and so on of peace, the sky was filled with falling stars that glowed a soft purple and pink. They streamed like comets before landing on the ground, but they weren't stars at all, but hearts. Once contacting the worlds they had rippled into heartless who also gave birth to nobodies in the realm of nothingness who too found there way into sprawling into worlds like a plague of parasites.(Aids in solving the mystery of revival and a new developed problem.) ------
Reports made by the long gone and revived Ansem and Xehanort scattered across the universe with the plague in explanation of their revival of the chaotic event at Kingdom Hearts, reuniting and finding their fellow organization members, and their future plans to find the hidden Kingdom Hearts that's out of reach for expelled hearts to travel to. (Have reasoning of revival and information of the events at Kingdom Hearts)
The disturbance at Kingdom Hearts was like an infecting wave that clashed and affected the other realms: light, darkness, in-between, and nothingness. The pathway from Twilight to The World That Never Was was split apart and is no long accessable to others. (explains why only dark character can enter in The World That Never Was.) To nuetralize the disturbance, the realm of light and darkness was conducting energy and activity that is unknown to all man, the birth of the keyblades. (creation of dark keyblades and more light keyblades// organizes the need for the Keeper of the Keys to make sure there's a balance amount.)
With the series of so many unfortunate events: the crash landings and hords of heartless and nobodies that continues to multiple without the presence of Kingdom Hearts, another nomadic existence emerges into reality, the door of possibilities. The door leads to a corridor of doors; each one either leads to an insight, a possible future, or the glimpse of the past.
Maybe this door have more answers along with the scattered reports of chaotic disturbance among kingdom hearts and a solution to stop the reproduction of heartless and nobodies before every world is destroyed. Would they be able to unfold it all, while more trouble bubbles with the existence of two antagonists?
Tried to incoorperate the ideas above. ----------------------------------------------------
If the DOP was to have a personification, I would say Snow White & the Seven Dwarf's Magic Mirror
The Keeper essentially regulate the Keyblades, awarding them, taking them away and keeping track of them. If our plot dictates that new Keyblades are arriving on the scene, this person would write them in for OCs and canons, depending on what's appropriate. They are regulated in the games by some unseen force. Our unseen force will have to be a person whom we nominate and vote on, or else have Yuffie or Bluey appoint him/her.
On this same note, I would like to propose a rule on keychains, in which each character may distribute one keychain to a Keyblade bearer. I know some characters obviously give more than one over the course of the games, but they only give out one per game. Let's count our rp as one whole, complete game.
Do not be concerned about making sure a character achieves something. Perhaps he/she WILL be foiled by the force of good and someone else will sneer at that and become a MORE powerful villain. We cannot dictate how or when he will attack. This is a very fine detail that we should look into, however.
What we need to do is find a plot point that appeals to us and then work through details. Personally, I do like the idea of some kind of Divine intervention which would, yes, be part DM and part plot. I had tried to get an rp going which revolved around Sora attempting to solve the mystery of Nobodies and putting them back together, by seeking answers from the Western Mother Queen of China, a goddess from mythology. She would give him subtle hint and he would travel World to World, picking up hints until he arrived at the answer. The great thing about THIS plot device is any character could decide to take this route. Tidus could wake up one morning and decide to seek out the answers.
Basically my plot proposal would be that a series of "divine" characters be placed along the path who hold answers to the problem (getting Nobodies back their Hearts and/or ending the war between Light and Dark). The grand problem DMed would very simply be an increase in Heartless (Oh! The DMs should be able to turn characters who have clearly given up on life into Heartless) and unrest among the Nobodies. I know it sounds simple, simple, simple, but think about how your own life would be affected if your own family members and friends began disappearing and you weren't sure if you were going to live another day. An infestation of Heartless is a good, sound plot, since all the characters from all the worlds would have the same problem at the same time.
As for 20 years ahead, eh, I read an interesting story in which the Keyblade master was put to sleep to be brought back when needed, which happened to be twenty years later. I thought it was an interesting idea, and beyond the character development intrigue, the Worlds would be very different places by that time. A host of new problems may or may not arise. I mainly put it down in case it sparked someone's imagination and he/she decided to run with it and create a great plot.
Elaeus, can you sum up your plot proposal into one or two concise paragraph with just the essentials?
Also, Nulls. Talk about them. Go.

Can someone post info about Nulls? My computer tends to freeze every time I try open the Plot Development. The thought of nulls aren't included >.< because... I don't know what they are..to make this all...make sense.
Now let's see if I can get my thoughts together after that massive scattered brain throw-up
----------[plot idea]------------------------------------------------------- Kingdom Hearts is out of sight and out of reach for hearts to travel to; the defense mechanism that caused its dissappearance is responsible for a massive shower of rejected hearts to be expell through the universe and fall into the worlds. Naturally it produced a heartless without the guidance of being protected from darkness; in response nobodies were born as well. This caused a flourish of heartless and nobodies with the revival of Dark XII and Organization XIII. Being expelled on the World That Never Was, Ansem was the first to see Kingdom Hearts vanish, while his nobody, Xemnas, is reborn in the realm of nothingness. Both jotted down their thoughts, experience, hypothesis, and future goals in their reports, which are scattered amongst the multi-worlded universe.
The disturbance of Kingdom Hearts had a ripple effect that affected the realms. Both the realm of Darkness and Light started to conduct a mass energy and conductivity, the mysterious creation of keyblades. To keep a balance, there are even amount of them as they wait to choose their wielder to settle the uneven plague that distorted the nature and balance. In the climax of jeopardy, another legend rippled back into existence, the Door of Possibilities. This door leads to a long hallway with many doors that leads to possible future and fragment of the past. The guru of the door is The Magic Mirror. His ability of knowledge was far to dangerous to be put out in the open similar to the Cornerstone of Light. To protect and keep the balance, the Door and the ruler is never in one place as it remains as a nuetral guide to keep the worlds in balance and give clues to the whereabouts of Kingdom Hearts.
Will Kingdom Hearts be found and fixed before the worlds could be destroyed and casted into the End of the World by heartless or be dominated by nobodies?
--------[yep, that's all there is in this noodle...for now]-------
Wouldn't the DMs have to cooperate very extensively to make sure their hints actually make sense in the end? I can understand some that wont make sense unless others are found or a specific event happens, but a hint that is basically isolated from the rest of the pack could throw off the player if he or she tried to link it.
And lastly for anyone's surprise I'm an outsider to the majority of the interworkings of Kingdom Hearts. So basically, I'm wondering what you're talking about when you mention the term door. Like at A2 i, or G.
Nulls take the concept that a person is made of a body, heart, and soul - the heart and body are accounted for, but not the soul. They have their own grouping, but like the Heartless canonically, do not have any particular group or collective. The lowest tier of null is a silhouette.
A null is more or less a ghost, not seen often because typically, the soul ends up in the Underworld.
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Feb 20, 2009 17:52:34 GMT -4
Well I can see that, the soul entity is the ghost of the person, while the spirit is what gives the body life.
O.o I would say the only nulls that would be existable..are technically dead people, which can ... allow rps to have deceased characters, but they must start from The Underworld and can only roam under the rulings of Hades.
I don't know how ghosts..can tie into the plot, since there's plently who live naturally in Halloween Town. If we were to go with the entire definition of Nulls, then there would be a call for having a Null for each heartless/nobody, and we barely can keep them all active.
In short with the ideas of Nulls, if they HAVE to be involved then I think they should be deceased characters like Ansem the Wise, Zack, etc, because a third party based off of the Heartless & Nobody orginization as an antagonist which will add up to over 24 characters would be abit too much.
I believe that Nulls can't form inside of the "Light" and "Dark" worlds. I believe that they can only belong in the "worlds between". It makes sense because those worlds are closest to chaos, while the others are clean and pure, in their own ways.
For reference to those new to the site and just tuning in: Null's are an original concept on this board. Don't be looking for them in the canon videogames.
