In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Parasite Cage hissed at the pain in getting its other arm blown off. It didn't want to have to deep into its reserves of power, but it had to this time.
The creature sent its conciousness deep inside itself, into it's corrupted Heart, and found the stores of Darkness hidden in there. It took a hold of the slippery metaphysical substance, and pushed it out into new arms. That practically exhausted the reserve stores, but it would get more later.
Then, the Parasite Cage snatched up Chinzo and Jizhu, and threw them in its cage-mouth, then teleported through a Corridor of Darkness back into Walrus's mansion, where its master was waiting, specifically in a cylindrical room made of gray stone. Walrus smiled when its powerful servant came back.
"Excellent, Parasite Cage." Walrus smiled wickedly. He threw his pet a Heart and it hungry caught and swallowed it. The creature, satisfied, exploded into Darkness, and the billowing blue-black strands flowed into the cracks in the walls, to wait for its next call.
Walrus looked at his new prisoners. Perhaps they could be persuaded to work for him... but how? He didn't want to resort to turning them to Heartless... Perhaps he could promise something he knew they wanted? But, unfortunately, he had no idea of what they desired. Maybe they'd say it themselves?
Walrus snapped his fingers, and four Soldiers appeared, two around each faint prisoner. Then he clapped his hands and yellow-green light shone over them, a Cura, hopefully recovering them from their unconciousness.
As the healing light flowed over Jìzhu, she groggily started to push herself off the ground. As she tried to clear her head she looked around. The first thing she noticed was that the giant Heartless was gone, and she seemed to be alive. So, did she and Chinzo win? Her vision was blurry so she couldn't see the Walrus at the other side of the room but she was able to see Chinzo next to her, with two Soldiers standing over him. "Oh no, Chinzo!" She said, worried they were going to attack him, but they weren't moving. She then noticed the two Soldiers standing next to her. "What's going on?" She asked aloud as Chinzo started to wake up. She was still exhausted from her extreme use of her powers, because though Cura spells may heal wounds, but it didn't recover her spiritual energy much.
Finally her vision cleared up and she saw the Walrus, who seemed calm and in charge. "Who-who are you, and what's going on?" She asked the Walrus, scared as to what the answer would be.

Walrus smiled at this young girl. So pretty, but so feisty! "Ohh, don't worry, dear," Walrus said, smile twisting wickedly. "Calm down. Your friend will live." And so he did. For at that moment, Chinzo awoke from his sleep. "Urgh..." was all Chinzo could say after that whole ordeal. He had fought hordes after horde of Heartless, then a giant one. And now, head burning, throat parched, mana spent, he had waken up in an unfamiliar building surrounded with Heartless? This had not been a good vacation.
Then he noticed Jizhu.
"Oh, Jizhu!" Chinzo cried, getting up, and attempting to run to her. The Soldiers caught him by the arm, though. He rolled his eyes and continued. "I saw how you blew off that creature's arm! I'm impressed!" he cried to her, even with his raw throat. Then he saw the wicked Walrus, and scowled angrily.
"You! You ruined my vacation! I'll get you!" he roared. He thrashed in the Soldiers' grip. "Get OFF!" he screamed, then teleported his short sword into a Soldier's back. It instantly dissipated into black mist, and the sword reappeared in Chinzo's scabbard.
With an arm free, Chinzo twisted around, put his palm on the other Soldier's chest, and ice blasted out the other end. It exploded like its comrade.
Then, he summoned a mana potion into his hand, chugged it down in a manner of seconds(something he'd come accustomed to doing), and hurled it at one of the Soldiers near Jizhu. It exploded, and its fellow came spinning for Chinzo. Snarling, he took the shards of glass from the bottle that were lying on the floor, and sent them speeding like bullets into the spinning creature. It exploded like its trio of allies. Chinzo smiled. Four wretches down, and their master to go. Walrus watched, mouth agape, as his prisoner destroyed his guards with a few spells and a bottle in about thirty seconds. He blinked, opened and closed his mouth a few times, then scowled. "Argh! I'll get you, yet!" he roared, shaking his fist at Chinzo, then used the actual purpose of the room. His mustache bristled as his power shot out through the mansion. Instantly, realizing his beckoning call, long, flowing strands of Darkness bubbled into the room through cracks and gaps, and formed in the middle, as Walrus's terrifying Heartless, the Parasite Cage.
Walrus smiled proudly, and teleported himself to his hidden control room, watching the glowing screen showing the room that held his prisoners and the Parasite Cage. He watched very happily as the Heartless summoned barriers blocking off the exits, then shoved its arms into the walls.
The walls instantly turned splotchy rainbow colors(imagine Monstro's stomach), and more, smaller arms shot out of random places in the wall and floor, ready to grab at will. This room was made entire for Parasite Cage, enchanted to allow Parasite Cage to do what he was doing now, and allowing Walrus's favorite Heartless to do many, many other things.
Jìzhu didn't like how the Walrus didn't really answer her questions, but she ignored that when Chinzo got up. And the first thing he did was complement her on how she had blew the arm off that Heartless. As much as she appreciated the praise, there were more important matters going on. "Now's not really the time, Chinzo." But she had barely spoken when Chinzo suddenly roared at the Walrus, blaming him for ruining their vacation. Not to mention trying to kill us. Jìzhu thought to her self as she watched Chinzo destroy all four Soldiers easily. After this I need to sing him another song as thanks.
But no sooner had Chinzo defeated the Soldiers when the Walrus angrily said that he'd get them and teleported away. Suddenly the room changed, becoming ugly and splotchy as the Parasite Cage came back, with both of its arms! "Oh, that's not fair." she said quietly to herself. As she went to get up, she realized she was still exhausted and couldn't move. "Chinzo! I need an Elixir, quick!" Since her powers used spiritual energy, which is a combination of Mental(MP) and Physical(HP) energy, neither Healing potions and spells, or Mana potions alone would recover her, but Elixirs, which recovered both simultaneously, would. She didn't ask for an Elixir the first time she exhausted herself because they were at the time safe, and she knew she'd be fine.

Chinzo stepped back angrily from the Parasite Cage. He scowled, and swung a whip of flame at an arm-tentacle that came flying in. Another came right forward at Chinzo's chest, and Chinzo's short sword appeared right in it. The small tentacle exploded into dark mist, and before it fell onto the floor, Chinzo grabbed it out of the air and fended off a couple of incoming tentacles. Chinzo backpedaled near Jizhu, burned away a few more incoming tentacles with a wall of Fire, and conjured an Elixir into Jizhu's hand. "Sorry for not talking, but-" Chinzo panted and swung a Blizzara into an incoming tentacle, a large and main one, too, by its size. The tentacle recoiled. "-no time," Chinzo finished, panting. He needed some help or else he's fall from exhaustion soon.
Jìzhu watched desperately as Chinzo fended off several tentacles. She was so worried about how exhausted Chinzo had to be, but she couldn't help without an Elixir. Finally Chinzo spoke to her, explaining that he had no time to speak, just at the same time as an Elixir appeared in Jìzhu's hand. She quickly drank it down, feeling her exhaustion fly away as if fire was spreading through her body.
Re-energized, Jìzhu stood up and dropped her Kimono to the ground. Thinking quickly, she figured that the Parasite cage was controlling all of the tentacles in the room, so that should be the main target. "Time for a repeat performance." She said with a grin, as she started to spin her arms like last time in wide, ever faster circles. She once again created an extremely compact ball of air in front of her. At this point the Parasite Cage noticed her, and whether it remembered the last time she had done this trick or simply acknowledged her as a viable threat once again, it sent one of its massive tentacles flying towards her.
"I only targeted your arm last time because Mr. Verzmarth was trapped in you. You've got no hostage this time." A drop of sweat rolled down Jìzhu's cheek as she launched her massive blade of air once again, just as the Heartless' tentacle almost reached her. The blade tore its way along the monster's tentacle, cutting it in half lengthwise until it reached the main body, which exploded violently into Darkness.
Once again exhausted, Jìzhu slumped to the floor. God, she was so tired this time she couldn't even speak or move. She prayed Chinzo would realize her helplessness and help her drink another Elixir before the Walrus came back and retaliated. She was sure he wouldn't take kindly to her killing his pet.

Chinzo watched as a blade of wind whizzed through the air, slicing right through a tentacle of Parasite Cage's and right into its face. The thing exploded on contact. Chinzo gasped at the huge attack, and without even needing to look and see if she actually needed it, Chinzo conjured an Elixir inside Jizhu's mouth and used a short Aero to funnel it into her mouth and down her throat.
Chinzo looked around, waiting for the blotches of color to fade away, but they didn't. In fact, Darkness began to boil out of them, flow like rivers into the center of the room, and pile up into the Parasite Cage yet again. Chinzo groaned, then summoned up all the magic he could to see if he could blast it to pieces before it could take a swing for him.
Unfortunately, that didn't work out.
The thing instantly knew where it was and whipped out a couple of tentacles for Chinzo, who had to dissapointedly discharge his pent-up burst of magic before he could use it to its full effect. The burst of fire, ice, lightning, and wind tore the incoming tentacles to pieces, but Chinzo recovered instantly and shoved out a Fire, a Blizzara, and a Thundara from his fists straight for the monstrous creature.
The Parasite Cage took it hard, then screeched back and sent every single tentacle it had straight for its duo of opponents. The creature had no more special effects left in its special room, so hopefully this last strike would prove good enough.
(You didn't think that the Parasite Cage would fall so easily, did you? ;D Well, if he gets hit a few more times, he'll really be gone, so that's something to look forward to )
Jìzhu started coughing and hacking as the Elixir went down her throat. She dropped to the ground and gagged for a moment, but the Elixir did its job, and Jìzhu managed to stay conscious, though at the moment, she would have loved to be able to sleep. However, considering the pressing circumstances, that wasn't a viable option.
Jìzhu forced herself to stand and watch as the Parasite Cage reformed itself. "Oh come on!" Jìzhu said, tired of this damn creature. It launched its tentacles at Chinzo, who managed to fend it off with a bit of magic. Screeching and roaring the Parasite desperately attacked, trying to end the duo once and for all.
As the many tentacles came flying at them, Jìzhu started to manipulate the air along her arms, so that as she batted aside every tentacle that came near her, it was like chopping at them with a sword. Tentacle after tentacle burst into clouds of darkness as she started to run forward towards the main body. Though she easily cleaved through the smaller tentacles, when the larger one came, she jumped on top of it. She ran along its length towards the main body, using her power to keep her attached to its surface. She didn't have to deal with the smaller ones at this point as she ran because they couldn't reach.
As Jìzhu got closer to the main body, she started to collect and compact a ball of fast spinning air into her hand. She had moved quickly, so she was almost to the main body before it had been able to start whipping around the main tentacle to try and throw her off. She was close enough however, so she leaped off, launching herself straight at the Main Body. Even as it opened its cage mouth to catch her and stop her, she thrust her right hand forward and let the compact ball of air expand explosively. It was like a grenade of air went off just inside its mouth. The force of the explosion sent Jìzhu flying backwards, away from the open mouth. Jìzhu's hand was going to be seriously hurt from doing such a move, but if it stopped the monster it would be worth it.
((Because of how often I had to use the word "tentacle", Hentai came to mind, especially when all those "tentacles" came after Jìzhu))

The Parasite Cage stumbled backwards and smashed into the wall, black slamming against it. Darkness leaked from its mouth from the huge air attack. Parasite Cage looked up from its pain, and refocus its vision. It was seriously injured this time, but not dead. Not yet, anyway.
Parasite Cage called out to its master, Walrus, who responded by summoning up a boiling pool of Darkness under the creature. The Parasite Cage healed inside it until the gaping wound inside its mouth was just a painful scar. A big scar, that is - such a great wound couldn't be easily healed, and not hastily.
It got back up, then noticed that from the great amount of damage done, to merely continue existing, the Parasite Cage had instinctively sacrificed all of its tentacles but the two normal ones to keep its body intact. It just couldn't spare the focus over its being.
Parasite Cage roared and swung a tentacle for Jizhu, trying to end her. She was the greatest threat right now, and she needed to be eliminated.
Chinzo looked on with pride as his teammate smashed the mouth of that large creature into a gaping wound. Of course, it didn't die - the thing didn't seem to be able to - but to heal that wound, it had to trade in all of its excess tentacles. That was a definite plus.
But the thing had managed to survive anyway, and now ti swung for Jizhu. That couldn't be allowed.
"I'll protect you, Lady Jizhu!" Chinzo cried heroically, then whipped out his shortsword. Infused with the power of Aero, it sent a crescent-shaped razor-blade of wind at the tentacle as it whistled out of its sheath. The tentacle was sliced into two pieces, but was instantly replaced, this time punching for Chinzo. This was only a feint, though - the second tentacle was whipping in from behind to get him from either side. In desparation, Chinzo willed a Stop.
The two limbs froze for an instant, but an instant only. That was all Chinzo needed to teleport onto the Parasite Cage's head to avoid the attack. When time unfroze, the attacks collided, and caused the Parasite Cage great pain, merely compounded onto Chinzo's Thunder, Fire, and Blizzard-infused blade stabbed right into the main head.
Spells exploded through the Parasite Cage, sending geysers of Darkness shooting out of random places on its body. It bucked Chinzo off in rage, then grabbed him in a tentacle and threw him in its mouth, wasting no time in placing a charm of drowsiness onto its new prisoner.
Jìzhu crumpled on the ground as she landed from her last attack, which had blown even her away from its force. After her explosive Wind Grenade attack (recently named), Jìzhu was tired and bruised. Because of how the attack was used, Jìzhu's own hand was covered in bruises now, and she thought the wrist might even be broken, because she found that she could no longer move it.
"I'll protect you, Lady Jizhu!"
Jìzhu propped herself up with her one good arm as she looked up and watched as the Parasite Cage, still not dead, was focusing on her now. Jìzhu couldn't have moved at that moment if she tried, so she was extremely thankful when Chinzo saved her, again using his glorious magic. He kept saving her when she's down, making Jìzhu feel like she was being a burden on him. She watched as the Parasite Cage turned his focus on Chinzo. It always seemed to focus on the last one to attack it.
Jìzhu almost panicked when it looked like Chinzo was going to be crushed when the Tentacles stopped mid-swing, just long enough for Chinzo to teleport away, onto the Heartless' head and stabbing his sword into it, unleashing his magic through it. The Heartless bucked Chinzo off however, and threw him into its mouth unceremoniously. At this Jìzhu forced herself to stand.
Taking care not to move her hurt wrist. Jìzhu ran forward, towards the Parasite Cage's main body, dodging its large swinging tentacles as best she could, the whole while, building up another Wind Grenade with her good hand and the last of her energy. If this didn't work, they'd be royally screwed.
Once close enough, she leaped into the air, and rammed her Wind Grenade into the Parasite Cage, in the dead center of its emblem. As it exploded, Jìzhu was launched away again, spinning limply, like a rag doll. She was out of energy now, and both her hands were broken now. She was useless now, unable to even catch herself as she fell through the air. She could barely even hope that she might have been able to free Chinzo, or defeat the Heartless. She closed her eyes pessimistically letting herself fall without hoping to be caught.

Chinzo stumbled around drunkenly inside of the Parasite Cage's mouth, then forced his mind back into a sharp state with a shove of mana. He blinked, looked around, and attempted a Blizzard. It failed, however, as he'd expected, so Chinzo was forced to try his sword. But before he drew it, he remembered the amount of bombs he still had that he hadn't used since that fateful day when he'd lost true sight.
But before Chinzo could fumble through his pockets to grab one, Jizhu came running bravely for the Parasite Cage in a suicidal charge, smashing a ball of solid, explosive wind right into the Parasite Cage's face, blasting it apart. He saw as his comrade flew backward, flopping around like a noodle in the ensuing explosion. Chinzo gasped in dismay.
A boiling pool of Darkness opened up underneath Chinzo as the Parasite Cage finally began to fall apart. It was apparently trying to get away through a Corridor of Darkness, but it wouldn't work. It was already almost gone. Chinzo looked down, and anger, frustation, and love filled him up with rage all at the same time.
Chinzo screamed out in frustration, sending out a hurricane of exploding rainbow sparks, then teleported out, even through the charm of anti-magic the Parasite Cage had created, roaring, "I'LL CATCH YOU, JIZHU!!!" Tears streaming unvoluntarily from Chinzo's eyes like rivers, Chinzo appeared right below Jizhu, catching her, then linking all of his mana with her, summoning up the most powerful Cure spell he ever had. Green light covered the both of them, sealing their wounds, cooling their burns, and covering their cuts. Chinzo's foggy eyes turned a bright, shining red in his rage, then softened into a purple with his sadness.
The Parasite Cage finally fell, screaming, apart into little clumps of Darkness, and the room around them began to collapse, after being so connected to its former master. Chinzo couldn't rely on magic anymore, having used it all to cast that Curaga. So he pressed a button on the side of his watch, and as the stone room fell apart around him, his sleek black ship had made it to their location in an instant and blasted a hole in the wall. Chinzo sprinted inside, then quickly piloted away into open space as Walrus shook his fist after them. Horrific Wonderland was finally behind them.
