In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

EDIT: This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but it didn't, so... Here it is!
It's not necessarily as momentous as the site's 2nd B-Day, but something else happened a year ago that was fairly big.
I talk, of course, about my peni-I mean Anniversary!
That's right! It's been a full year now since I joined up here, and man, have we been through some shit. There's been the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Chapter 1: From Humble Beginnings
...Er, was I ever really humble?
Well, there was still a beginning.
When I joined up here on World Destiny, I created an original character that was easy to type as; Myself, as seen through a fantasized mirror. And thus Gozo was born.
Although I don't exactly use him often (I get enough of myself during the day), he still stands for what I intended him to be: An entity of my own patience. He doesn't talk much. Rather, he listens, waits and listens. Never does he lose his cool, and he's easily motivated by a cute redhead who feels the same about him as he does her XD.
Next, there was my inner gentleman made real, Louis. He always follows a sort of chivalric code, though can be easily wooed by a woman. Plus, he bears what I've always really desired; Immortality. I suppose Louis also stands for my desires.
Then I decided I should go a bit out of the norm, maybe nab myself a World Character. Which I did. He's Reuben. However, the genetic experiment always seemed a bit harder to write for than the others.
Finally, I created an outlet for all the anger and frustration that I never released during the day. That was Xing, my own little Kratos XD
Over this last year, my RP'ing skills have gotten better, and I hope that's magnified through my characters.
But enough sap talk. *pulls out root beer keg* Here's to a year full of twists, turns, highs and lows, hellos and goodbyes, and may the next one be better than before.
