In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Has anyone else seen the latest Harry Potter film? I saw it on the weekend, and though I can't say I loved it, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Whereas Daniel Radcliffe used to make me want to beat him with a stick with his awful acting, I was pleasantly surprised at how much he'd improved in this movie (though maybe I'm just too fussy XD) Though I was less impressed by Ginny Weasley's performance (I have no idea what the actress is called) >.>
The scenes I really enjoyed were with Ron and the Love Potion, the skeletons at the lake (These made me jump almost out of my seat, and caused my friend to scream XD) and the Draco vs Dumbledore at the end. They were all so well acted, the last one particularly, so I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would ^__^
All in all I thought it was an ok film, not amazing, but not exactly terrible either
On a slightly different note, has anyone else read the Harry Potter fanfiction (Well, I suppose you could call it that) that is "My Immortal" XD It's so hilariously bad, though it may cause you to lose several IQ points. You have been warned.

I saw the midnight showing~
But I agree, it was great, and the acting was pretty awesome, though Ginny was too straight-faced most of the time >w<
But y'know what? I think the younger Tom Riddle - in the flashbacks - actually had more lines than Draco Malfoy! xDD Most of Draco's stuff involved suspense and deep thinking and you going, "What's he up to now?" and not as much talking.
Which, of course, was what happened in the book. XD

I enjoyed myself even if I remembered the book. I didn't remember it vividly, but still the film of enjoyable. Lavender was a pain though, and she wore a lavender bandana. XD
I must say that I can't wait for the next two movies; yes they planned to split up the last book into two films. The only thing I would loath is to wait another two years...because of a sucking book/film Twilight. u.u Which would be sad with no more Harry Potter and the continuation of a glittery stalking vampire with no personality and the epic D.I.D (damsel in distress).

What really confused me is I didn't know who the girl that loved Ron was until the very end when they said her name for like the first time. You know how annoying that was. I was like "WHAT?! That's Lavender?!" Actually, the person who played the younger Voldemort made me shudder, he was very creepy looking. Mark this down people too, I jumped whem the hand shot out of the water and grabbed Harry when he was trying to get water for Dumbledore. I don't even jump at scary movies...
I won't go too much into it. I was just dissapointed, especially after OotP. They could have done much more. Also, Daniel Radcliffe shouldn't have cut his hair >_>
I never read the books, and I liked the first movies... but this one had nothing to do with that the book was about, really. Little mention of the "Half-Blood Prince" and why he was such, how he was such, etc. All of Snape's past that made me interested in the movie was cut entirely, and the Battle of Hogwarts was no where to be found.
It's like they took all the parts people were looking forward to, and tossed them out in favor of angst and shots of teens kissing one another.

@.@ tooo much "snogging"
Wierd to they hardly made this year about "teaching" since it was Snape first >.> and last time as the Dark Arts Teacher. He was teaching them how to do spells without uttering them, which suppossed to play hand-in-hand with the Harry vs. Snape moment. Harry would try to attack Snape, but Snape SHUNNED HIM with counterattacks. Theeeen Harry gets desperate to us the spell he found in the bookie...
._. Also...they totally cut out how Ginny joined in Quitich in the last movie. u.u Now reading Rook's statement and reflecting on the book, the movie hardly ultilize the "half-blood prince" << it was more of stalking Malfoy, snogging, and chillin with dumbledore. Hopefully they'll make the last movie worth it.
Snape: I AM THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE! Mom: ....sooo the potion book was hiiiis..ooooooook (O.o doesn't really show any significant reason to go OMG at that moment)

One thing I was mad at was the ending... I hated that they didn't due the funeral for Dumbledore and if I remember correctly, Harry was supposed to be under the Petrificus Totalus spell during the death of Dumbledore while covered with the invisibility cloak. That part made me mad. Overall, I thought it was pretty cool. The one thing that saddened me throughout the ENTIRE movie series was the absence of Peeves the Poltergeist. I wanted to see that, but it didn't happen. It was sad...
