In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

His attacks are definitely more fancy than Goofy, but the shields he used didn't look that much unlike Goofy's. His signature shield seemed only present in his profile pic. Perhaps it's not his initial equip, but his ultimate equip?
Finally, some gameplay footage of Xemnas in multiplayer mode. I demand all the Con-going members buy both a DS and htis game, so we can 4-player co-op this thing at Meet-Ups.
Well, this has taught us something new: Xian can also wield the Keyblade. Theories, anyone?
...or am I the only one who hasn't known this?
Apparently. That's been old news for some consiuderable time now. Riku has called it fake in other trailers, she questions why she has it, Roxas is a wee might confused by it all, but it all ties back to her shrouded mysterious history.
Also, Shiay, it isn't nice to name-call before you're been properly introduced.

Ffft--- Everyone knows I have a strong dislike for Xion... doesn't matter if she's not been 'properly introduced'. Going by the things I've seen and read up on her? To me? Yes-- Mary-Sue. I don't like her-- and it's not just because she seems to have ties with Riku (though, that does have a part to play in it as well... just a fraction).
Xion's face seems to resemble Kairi's/Naminé's and her hair style is similar to Kairi's Kingdom Hearts hair style except black. Their resemblance has been underscored by the trailers. She also seems to have a similar personality, kind and caring like Kairi and pretty depressed like Namine. Though, she seems a bit easier to anger, namely when Riku called her Keyblade a fake.
No, no, no... see there... Kairi's already got a Nobody-- Naminé, (going by what's most likely going to happen, since Square Enix is fucking with the timeline now) giving Kairi another Nobody is like tearing her in half and leaving the heart alone-- Perhaps leaving 'just Kairi'.
Getting easily angered when someone calls something 'fake'? Chah... Sue.
Xion appears to be good friends with Axel and Roxas, and they are often seen hanging out together in Destiny Islands and Twilight Town.
Good friends with Axel and Roxas, huh? Then what happened in Kingdom Hearts II? They just up and forget her existence? Seriously... with Square screwing up what happens and creating this 'fourteenth member'-- you'd at least think there might just be some reference to her in the previous game where evens are happening after what's going on takes place.
Or perhaps Naminé had something to do with erasing everyone's memories-- yeeeaaaah! That's it! That's why she, too, makes no reference to Xion in KH II.
No, no Shiay! Square created 358 Days after KH II and just dicided to add in Xion to actually make the Organization interesting! THEY NEEDS MOAR FEMALE POPULATION~! Who cares what happened in KH II and if everything was omitted from 358 Days to that-- it's cannon because Square made it! Yeeeeaaahhh!!
Guys, guys, the answer has been staring you in the face the whole time.
Xion is Axel, Roxas', and Riku's imaginary friend. She looks like Kairi because they don't really have fantastic imaginations. She's a combination of Axle's memory of Namine, Riku's memory of Kairi and Roxas' non-memory of the girl he bought a latte from at Starbucks last month. See? Easy.
I'm a little inclined to agree that Xion is... well, yes, a Mary-Sue. However, from what I understand, they have a supposedly "deeper explanation" for her, according from what I can grasp of clips of Japanese gaming magazines and stuff.
I disagree with your opinion that Xion is a Mary-Sue.
A Mary Sue is someone who doesn't fit in with the established canon at all and is unrealistically flawless. And Xion just doesn't fit that description at all. I mean, everybody had their happy side, their sad side and their diabolic side.
You might say "Oh, but she's outshining Roxas!!!". Nope. Her being a mystery attracts large amount of the KH fans, but when talking of actual, concrete story, Roxas is still in first place.
And no one can really judge her for her "special" birth, because we actually are clueless about it. We already have two Special Nobodies (Roxas and Namine). What's one more?
Also, I agree with part Aryn's theory, excluding the sarcastic parts. She might be made of Sora's "lost" memories of Castle Oblivion. *shrugs* And you say that she doesn't fit in the story, I think that Noruma and SE have that all solved. They probably haven't said anything about it because it is very important to the plot of the game. Also, they didn't say anything about Namine's origins before KH II, did they?

This is her true purpose! To produce less yaoi! We solved the mystery!

XD seemed appropiate for the moment.
O.o It somewhat humored me that she have a bunch of fans, but people barely know a thing about her, and even put such an anonymous character on a pedestal above Roxas, >.< who have a known and relevant purpose!
To be fair...Namine is pretty much a Mary-Sue too. Anytime an author has to come up with 20 more new facts to justify his/her new random addition to the franchise, you know there's some top notch bs going on. This isn't valid extension of a good story. This is grasping at straws.
Honestly...take a look at that jump from the first game to Chain of Memories and KH II. The entire concept of Nobodies reeks of contrived desperation for more obstacles for the hero to pursue. The focus of the first game is such a far cry from the focus of the second game, it's kind of ridiculous.

Five bucks says it won't work, though... I mean, kinda hard to find anything that ain't Yaoi for KH relationship fics/pics and what not...
Anywho, Days site update (I missed the last two... I'm so sorry!)
HOLY SHITE! Xion, Donald, and Goofy are PLAYABLE! Friggin, sweet, I can play as Goofy! <3
Final Wallpaper is unlocked.
System Seems to be fully expanded... As such, all characters have been added.
Xemnas seems to prefer aerial combat from the vid... As expected, Lexaeus is slow but strong. Xigbar puts out some NICE combos... but I'm guessing he's got bad magic? Roxas is, of course, Roxas. We all know how he fights... Though he has some nice new combos.
Donald, as you'd expect, as weak attacks, but good magic. Goofy is kind of slowish, and weak with magic, but as good power. Xion seems to be a more "fluid" or "stylistic" version of Roxas...
