Powers: Crystal's powers consist mostly of water and healing, after all, water is said to heal. She uses her magic and attacks wisely as it does drain her quite a bit.

Although being a mermaid, Crystal is able to change her form to a full human once she touches land, this form only lasts two hours [ten posts] and can't be used for another five hours [ten posts], though there are ways that will end this form quicker, her legs cannot touch water in this form otherwise her fin will appear, most likely causing her to be stranded or pull her way to the ocean.
She can attack on both land and water, though is more effective when in the water, although she can attack an enemy on land from water.
Water Related AttacksFlood Chain;; Simple, a strange force of water that looks similar to a rope will wrap itself around the enemy, this give Crystal the chance to attack.
Aqua Sphere;; A tornado of water will form around the enemy, soon transforming into a sphere and trapping the enemy, however, this is just a hollow sphere at first, but the it will begin to fill up with water, the enemy can either find a way to get out, or drown.
Water Bliss;; One of Crystal's favourite elements, she can only use this attack when she's near a body of water, she will twist and twirl in the water until she's lifted up, once the tornado of water lifts her up, she will jump off and push her palms in the enemy/enemies direction, focussing her thoughts on sending the beautiful yet chaotic tidal wave towards them.
For these attacks to take full effect, her enemy would also have to be in water. However, the effect is halved when she attacks enemies on land from water.
Land Related AttacksDrown;; If close enough to an enemy, Crystal will cover its mouth with her palm and fill its mouth with a mass amount of water that forms from her hand, thus choking the enemy without it being underwater.
Wave;; A simple yet powerful tidal wave will appear behind Crystal, arching over her and then crashing into the enemies, you'll get washed away depending on how strong you are.
Bubble Bombs;; Bubbles, harmless yes? Well, not Crystal's, she will place both her thumbs and index fingers together into the shape of a circle, magically blowing into it and creating a rather large bubble which will soon pop into smaller bubbles. These bubbles have minds of their owns and will follow their enemy target, once touched, they will explode with great force.
Due to being away from the water, Crystal's land based attacks won't always work, any form of water acts as fuel for her land attacks. She also has to be very careful when dealing her water based attacks, because, as mentioned, if water touches her legs, she will lose her human form.
Crystal is attuned to waves of emotion, and seems to have a built-in sonar for reading a mood. This gives her a special sensitivity in relationships, knowing when to show warmth and when to hold back, this also helps her to detect danger and incoming enemies. At her best, she is a healing force that brings people together -- at her worst, she is able to manipulate and drain the life force of those closest to her.
Weapons: Aquarius;; Given to her by her father, Aquarius is a spear that Crystal uses for both hunting, fishing, and attacking purposes, there isn't much special about it, except its design.
Picture: Appearance: Quite beautiful, one would say, if ever sighted. Crystal's appearance may vary at times considering she can go in and out of water, on and off land. Her hair in the water appears a sea green with hints of turquoise, whereas on land it's completely turquoise, her bangs are side swept and her hair's cut a different lengths, it can appear unkempt at times, depending on if she brushes it.
When in the water, her hair is decorated with shiny fish scales and pearls, though when she's on land its decorated with a flower or two. No matter what, she's always seen wearing her
water circlet, people sometimes mistake this as a sign of royalty, but when really, she's a water caster, a new gem is added when she reaches a certain rank.
Her skin remarkably doesn't wrinkle when she's in the water, though it does take her time to adjust to the heat when she's on land, what with being use to the cool water and all. She has pale skin and gentle features, usually smiling softly no matter what, her eyes appear dark at times, but when in the light they shimmer the exact same colour as a mystic topaz.
She has two turquoise symmetrical marks on her cheekbones in the shape slightly curved waves, they have a scaley shine to them, her lips are thin and a soft cherry pink colour.
Crystal has quite a lot of upper arm strength, though doesn't have arms that make her look masculine though, her legs are long and great for running, though she isn't exactly graceful on her feet due to not being used to them, her height reaches about 5ft 9, she's not too tall or small, neither is she too big or thin, her body is average with a medium sized bust, small waist and curvy hips.
As for her tail when she's in the water, it's a scaley light blue with a shimmering crystal clear fin, around the hip of the tail is a thin glittering blue train decorated with shells, pearls and seaweed. To cover up her bust, she wears a cyan tube top decorated with a white flower on the top left corner and white pearls starting from the flower and going down diagonally on the top then curling around the bottom.
When she's on land, she'll remain wearing the tube top and use the train she wears as a type of sarong, though sometimes she may lose it in the water and will embarassingly ask someone if they have a spare set of clothes.
The only pieces of jewelry she owns are one blue pearl bracelet around her right wrist, and one white bracelet around her left wrist, then lastly a heart shaped shell necklace around her neck, the outside of it is a pale blue, but if flipped around, you can see the glossy shine within.
Crystal also carries around with her a blue bag of asorted shells, pebbles, stones, and jewels found in the water.
Personality: Crystal can give people an air of being aloof or even shy at first, but she's the warmest of souls when people have won her trust. Going forward in a relationship or situation often means being sure of her emotional ground, a kind of decision-making process that is baffling to others. Her perceptions border on psychic, but these insights get clouded by the intensity of feelings, or are altered by the vivid imagination.
She is a kind and playful soul, often teasing others in good fun and mostly smiling at others, Crystal is calm and rarely loses her temper, though watch out if she does. When by water, you will be able to tell the change in her personality, if the water is still and calm, Crystal is at peace, but when the waves start crashing violently, she is either very sad or angry.
Crystal likes to watch and play with humans, finding them to be quite interesting, though dislikes the ones that are cruel and ones that use nets, she's very scared of nets or being trapped, no matter what form she's in.
She sometimes forgets that humans can't breathe underwater when she playfully pulls them in for a swim. She loves to sing, her voice is amazingly beautiful when she sings, though be warned, it is very entrancing, even though she enjoys to sing, she doesn't realise the damage it can cause.
When on land, Crystal is quite awkward and clumsy, often tripping over and acting shy around others. Though when it comes to the ocean, she is very graceful, still shy, though more playful also. She's also absolutely terrfied of fire.

History/Background: Crystal lived in a world known as Undine Aquarius, an underwater village. She was the daughter of Aquatis Undine, a royal spell caster, one of the many water casters that protects the world's royal family, Crystal's mother had died by the jaws of a shark when she was five years old, a memory that practicallt haunts Crystal due to being there when it happened.
She had a brother, but eversince he left home, she hadn't heard from him since, all she had now was her father, who eventually taught her how to be a water caster when she was ten years old. He would always take her to the Temple of Aquarius, an shrine in which their believed Goddess, Aquamarine, resided. Every day Aquatis would pray to the Goddess, requesting that she grant his daughter the water circlet, a symbol to show that someone is a water caster.
A bright blue sphere hovered towards Crystal and placed itself near her forehead, it soon popped and a circlet was seen, though no blue pearls had been placed, showing that Crystal was a water caster in training. Now that she was blessed to become a water caster, Aquatis took it upon himself, along with many others, to teach her the ways of the water.
Though it wasn't just all spells and healing, no, there was quite a bit of studying to do also, it was required that Crystal did this in order to understand what should and shouldn't be done when performing water magic as the wrong spell could cause great destruction, she was also taught to use her magic for defense, never to show how powerful she is.
By a total of five ranks, number five being the highest, Crystal soon made her way up to number two, showing only two blue pearls on her circlet, whilst her father had five.
It was time for Crystal to train enough to surpass her father, should anything happen to him, but one day, Crystal grew tired of training every night and day, she wanted to have at least one day to herself, oh how unfortunate it was to pick today...
She was swimming around an abandoned cave looking for various objects of use or interest, not realising what could've possibly be going on elsewhere. Once she returned home, she gasped at the sight, her home was under attack by... strange creatures that appeared to being fish-like, but she knew they weren't, on their gills they had an odd heart shape emblem.
Staring and pondering wouldn't do her much good, everyone was in danger, she feared for her father's life! Just as she was about to swim off to find him, an octopuss-like creature grabbed her with its tentacles. she tried to struggle free but to no avail, it wasn't long until a darkness swallowed her up.
By the time she woke up, she could feel herself falling, her eyes opened only slightly, her vision was blurry, all she could make out was a small island before she hit water and almost sunk, after a while, the water was finally acknowledged and Crystal woke fully, though found herself adjusting to this new type of water, the temperature felt slightly warmer than the one back home.
Speaking of which...
Where was she?
Crystal spent a long time swimming around looking for some form of life, all she found were a few fish, some rocks, caves, but none of her kind. What was this place?
She then saw a rock floatiing downwards, she blinked at this, wondering how it could've happened, she looked up and swam to the shore, poking her head out of the water. She looked at her surroundings and noticed an island ahead of her, she frowned and tilt her head, looking down at the two long fins that these, she assumed children, had. How'd they manage to be born with two fins? Then again... she didn't think they were like her, this was obviously a different world.
But how? And why? Crystal grabbed her head, she couldn't think anymore, what was important was that she find answers and try to get back to her own world. Until then... she spent her days living in a small underwater cave and attempting to interact with others.
