In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It's permanently bonded to Rei, thriving off of his life-force. Obsidian can be summoned to Rei by will. Weapon Abilities:Amplifies dark mode abilities by 20%
Appearance:He's 5'11'' and weighs 180lbs. He has kind of a muscular build. He has black straight hair, brown eyes, and wears a white mask to hide his face due to the shame he harbors for his ability to use darkness as a weapon. He has a naturally tan complexion and keeps a soft expression on his face when it his mask is off, which is rare. His clothing is modern. He wears straight leg blue jeans, a thermal long-sleeved shirt, and black boots.
Personality:Naturally, he's very shy and talks to no one. He doesn't like to get close to anyone due to the danger his emotions can present. He can be very kind though when he does let someone get close enough to be friend. His alliance will always be good, whether the people he's around will follow or not. His emotions tend to run wild in situations wear his friends are in trouble, leading to him transforming into dark mode. The increase in strength and abilities helps his allies as long as Rei retains consciousness. Once that's lost, his abilities run wild and instinct takes over. This has only happened once...
Original World:Midgar(FF VII) Current Residing World:Radiant Garden
History/Background:Rei has no memory of his parents since he's an orphan, and was left at the orphanage as a baby. Part of his drive in his journey is to find out who his parents were. He was looked up to by the other kids since he was the oldest out of them. He only had one that he truly considered like his brother. That was his friend Gage, who was a year younger than Rei. Gage was the spunky type who didn't let anyone push him around and they would play fight all the time. They promised to always stick together. One night, on the way back to the orphanage, two older men tried to rob and hurt Rei and Gage. They tried to kill Gage when he refused to give him his munny. In a fit of rage, Rei lost consciousness. When he woke up, the two men were gone, and Gage was lying in a corner in fear. He was burnt on his face and was bleeding. When Rei went over to help him, Gage shuttered. He asked, "What happened to you?!" In confusion, Rei looked in a piece of glass on the ground, seeing his skin was dark, and he had white hair. He fell back and looked at Gage, "What's wrong with me?!" Gage answered,"I dunno... but you saved our lives. Well... yours at least." Rei began to weep, knowing he had done that to Gage. Gage died in his arms. Rei left the orphanage because he considered himself too dangerous to be around the other children. He vowed never to use his dark abilities if he could help it, which was easier said than done. He wears a white mask in shame so people can't see his face. The mask changes and becomes part of Rei when dark mode is activated, making his face stoic and without emotion. His sword, Obsidian, was given to him when he left the orphanage. They said it was left with him when they found him that night as a baby. The sword only activates its true abilities in Rei's dark mode. Up until now, Rei has no friends and travels alone.
Role Playing Sample: "When do you think we'll get out of this town Rei?" asked Gage.
"I dunno...", replied Rei. "When we do though, we'll do it together."
They laughed and continued down the street to the fruit stand. They looked at the prices.
"Can you believe how much this guys charging? It's ridiculous!" said Rei. He turned around and saw Gage running off with a bunch of fruit under his shirt. Rei's jaw dropped. "What are you doing!?"
About that time, the owner of the stand went running after Gage.
"Get back here you delinquent!" yelled the man.
"I'm not paying you those ridiculous prices for apples!" yelled Gage back at the man.
The man continued after Gage, "You wait til I catch you boy!"
Rei went running after the two. "This will be one heck of a day," said Rei to himself laughing.
How did he get dark powers? You're not born with them, usually, so we would have had to learn them from someone or someone would have had to given them to him.
