In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jack had been training under the pink haired man that was named Marluxia. Unfortunately...the training wasn't getting anywhere. So Jack decided to leave him...and maybe on this new world he'd be able to find either someone else to teach him...or a way to go from world to world on his own. But...he was hoping for a teacher. He didn't really know much other than Wonderland, and his transformation, and the tiny bit of information he had been able to squeeze out of Marluxia.
So now that Jack was on his own...he needed to figure out how this world was layed out...and where everything was. So far...he had found this lot...that had some sorta ring in it...like a wrestling ring...he still wasn't sure what it was for though. After that, he had walked here, and found the stuff here. There didn't seem to be much...just a station for...trains? And then a grate leading somewhere...probably sewers or something. Jack wondered around, thinking about who he would meet, and what was going to happen next.

Maleficent wandered the station square in Twilight Town, hoping for new recruits in her council of villains. Her search had been small, but she hoped for better things to come. As she walked, she noticed a man who was wandering around as well, a man who had seemed to be lost. She laughed to herself, hoping that she could corrupt this man's soul and use him for her own deeds. She walked toward the man, the words escaping her mouth as she approched. "A lost soul wandering a world of Twilight. One must be careful in worlds such as these. The heartless prey upon the weak and unprepared."[/color] She wondered what would come of this encounter and if he would even know of who the Heartless were. Now it was his turn. Where would he stand in a battle against good and evil? And when that battle comes.... Which side will win?

Who was this oddly coloured and dressed woman...and why was she suddenly talking to Jack? That was pretty much all he was wondering. He was going to talk to her...because maybe he could find out more about...well, about everything, if he talked to her. Talking to Marluxia hadn't weilded much insight. So maybe this would give Jack some knowledge that he could use later on.
"Excuse me? A world...of Twilight? What exactly does that mean? Is it similar to Darkness and Light? I would assume so since you mentioned the Heartless. And what to you mean by...weak and unprepared? I am by no means weak...or unprepared."

So it seemed the man would engage her in conversation. Maleficent was pleased with this. She needed people to aid her in her efforts against Sora and the Organizations. Perhaps this man would be of help, especially if he believed he was not weak and unprepared. "A world of Twilight, a world landing in between the lands of light and darkness. This world, permanently cast in eternal twilight. One must be careful. For the heartless and nobodies thrive in such worlds. But if you are not weak or unprepared, then you shall hold no trouble against them. Perhaps you can show me how strong and prepared you really are..."[/color] She said as she snapped her fingers. 5 shadows, 3 soldiers, and 2 darkballs appeared, surrounding Jack and all moving in for attack. "Go, my heartless. Test this man. If he is not worthy, then his heart is yours for the taking."[/color] She said, laughing as she stood back, watching the man and what he did against the heartless.
Jack listened to this woman as if she were Marluxia. He listened intently to every single word she said, and he was certain he would never forget it. Then she said four sentences that threw him off a bit.
"Perhaps you can show me how strong and prepared you really are...Go, my heartless. Test this man. If he is not worthy, then his heart is yours for the taking."[/color=
This completely almost ruined Jack's day. But then he realized that maybe this woman had summoned these creatures...therefore...she could teach him a lot about them...and apparently a lot about almost anything! Now Jack was ready. He was going to destroy these Heartless...and he was sure of it. So, to start off, he decided he wasn't going to show off all of his skills just yet. He'd save that for after he killed a few Heartless with his normal abilities.
So he quickly drew his sword from the sheath on his back, and swung at the closest nobody to him. A Shadow[/i]. From the limited practice he had at killing Heartless, he knew kinda sorta where you needed to hit them...anywhere. So, that's precisely what he did. He swung at the Heartless, not really caring where he hit it, as long as he did. Not stopping to see if the Shadow[/b] was killed or not, he swung at a Soldier that was nearby, and hit in in the head, killing it instantly. If his fight kept going like this, he was going to prove himself for sure!

Maleficent watched the man as he swung his sword around, killing both a shadow and a soldier. But just then, another of the soldiers started to spin toward him, trying to spin kick him. Whether or not the attack was dodged, one of the darkballs would be the next to strike. The body of the darkball seemingly shrunk before exploding outward and bounding around Jack. Maleficent smilled, her staff raising as she watched him continue to fight the heartless. Perhaps he would be special, and of use to her. But she wanted to see if he possessed more abilities then just sword fighting ones before determining if he was worthy of being a member of the council. That answer would come soon enough.
Jack had finished off a Shadow and a Soldier, and was feeling pretty good about this fight! Ha! I'm gonna have this fight done in no time![/i] he thought as he saw the Soldier coming to attack him with a spinning kick. Jack sliced at the Soldier with his sword, knocking it over, and out of the way, but not killing it. Out of the corner of his eye, Jack saw a Darkball[/b] shrink and explode toward him. Not having enough time to turn and swing his sword, Jack had to do some quick thinking, and reveal his ability a little sooner than he had wished. Otherwise, something terribly bad could have happened...such as a K.O.
Using his ability, Jack transformed into something small. Something fast...yet small. A bunny rabbit! Transforming into that allowed him to hop and dodge his way out of the fray (specifically out of the way of the beserk Darkball). As soon as he got out of the way, he quickly transformed into the first thing he could think of that could possibly help defeat these Heartless...so he transformed into Marluxia, seeing as Marluxia has a scythe, and a badass one at that. Having transformed into Marluxia, Jack looked over at Maleficent and winked, then jumped back into the fray, and wish a few swiped, took out the Darkball that almost took him out earlier. Then with a few more swipes took out two Shadows and the Soldier he had hit earlier.

Maleficent watched the man swing the sword. There was more that he could do, and of that she was sure. But was he going to reveal to her what he could do? It was hard to say. However, it was short lived before he did reveal what he could do. He could transform, but he initial showing of this was to a weak rabbit. Why of all things would he transform into that, and what else was the man able to transform into? She continued to watch as he would inadvertantly answer that exact question.
He then transformed into Marluxia of Organization XIII, complete with his Scythe. Perhaps he could transform into things he had seen? But when had he seen the member of the Organization of nobodies? It was hard to say for certain, but she was certainly pleased. If he could control his transformations, he would easily be a great asset to Maleficent's plan. As he removed a few more heartless, Maleficent snapped her fingers. The heartless stopped their attack and came to her side.
"I believe that you have proved yourself splendidly. You most certainly are not weak and unprepared. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Maleficent. Now then... Would you be so kind as to reciprocate the introduction?"[/color] She said to Jack, hoping that he would not immediately strike towards her. She feared not for herself, but for the man before her should that happen as she would send him into the darkest recesses of space. But he did not wish for this as she wanted his aid in the Hellfire Council. He would be a better pawn then Riku ever was. More so in that he could impersonate Riku as well as any he wished. That was a talent that was most helpful.
"I believe that you have proved yourself splendidly. You most certainly are not weak and unprepared. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Maleficent. Now then... Would you be so kind as to reciprocate the introduction?"
This was what Jack heard as the Heartless all stopped at a snap of her fingers. It was...incredible to say the least. And for someone to wield that much power...Jack couldn't pass up the chance to atleast...have the chance to stay with them for atleast a little bit to just observe them if nothing else. And so that is what Jack decided to do, and since the best way for him to do that for now was to introduce himself...that's what he did!
"It is nice to meet you Maleficent. The name is Jack, and I'd like to know something...how is it that you came about being able to control the Heartless as you do? You are the first person I've seen control Heartless, and I've only seen Marluxia control Nobodies. Why are the two of you able to do such things?[/b]
These questions and many more were brimming to the top of Jack's mind...and he wouldn't stop until he had all of his questions answered.

A smile pursed the lips of Maleficent as she turned to the heartless that remained at her side. She snapped her fingers once more, allowing them to return to the Realm of Darkness to regain their strength. "Heartless... Creatures without minds of their own, those who strike humans for their hearts. and Nobodies... Creatures without hearts, allowing them no emotions, but a mind to plan and enact those plans. Such simple creatures, but very obediant..... The heartless listen to me for I allow them strike as they please. They get the hearts they want for a simple price of listening to me and doing my bidding."[/color] She started to say before she finally turned back around to Jack.
"You say that you have met the nobody, Marluxia. Strange that he did not steal you for himself. What exactly did he tell you? And where did you learn to use such a strange yet wonderous power?"[/color] She asked. He had asked her a question, and now she felt it necessary to ask him. She thought more and more about how he would be of great use to her, and she may even take him on as her personal apprentice, passing on the knowledge of controlling the heartless and aiding in running the council. Now it's a matter of finding out his abilities and helping him with advancing them. But is he truly worthy of it? That will come at a later time. For now, the questions would need to be answered.
Maleficent snapped her fingers and the Heartless listened to her once more, disappearing into the Realm of Darkness, or...whatever. Listening to everything that Maleficent said, he wasn't surprised when she started asking questions as well.
"You say that you have met the nobody, Marluxia. Strange that he did not steal you for himself. What exactly did he tell you? And where did you learn to use such a strange yet wonderous power?"[/color]
"Well...I didn't spend much time with Marluxia...and the time I did spend with him wasn't very well spent, so I didn't really learn anything. And, I've always had this ability. My parents abandoned me for it when I was little. Since then I've honed my skills, and it has often came to my aid."[/b] he said as he transformed back into his normal-self. This was going to be a very...beneficial acquaintance-ship...and Jack was perfectly fine with that.

Marluxia was a fool to let a prized man such as this slip from his fingers. Maleficent saw how wonderful his powers were, and she would scoop him up and take him as her own apprentice. But now she needed to know... Could he do anything else besides his transformation? And what could she help him learn? Now it was time to ask more.
"Well, Jack. What do you say to a proposition of mine? One where I make you my assistant, or apprentice, whichever word you might choose to describe it. And in return, I will aid you in honing your skills even more, as well as learning new ones. Perhaps in turn, I may even teach you to control the heartless. But on your part... You must aid me in my quest for Kingdom Hearts, the Heart of all hearts. The one that will allow me and my Council of villains to regain all that we have lost. What do you say? Will you aid me in return for me to aid you?"[/color]
She asked as she held out her hand for Jack to take it. If he would, she would smile and release it, allowing him to hopefully feel the slight amount of dark energy she would place inside of him through the handshake. This dark energy would allow him insight on the happenings of the world. What she knew of keyblades, Kingdom Hearts, the Princesses of Heart, Organization XIII, the Dark XII, Heartless, Nobodies, even the long dead Unversed, and Master Xehanort from way back when. She would look to him when the flashback of her memories would finish going through and ask one simple question...
Jack had wondered for a short time...could this woman, Maleficent, really be stronger than Marluxia? He sensed much strength, wisdom, and...he didn't really know how to describe all that he sensed from her, but it was a lot. Jack wondered what all she could do other than controlling the Heartless. In reply to Maleficent, there was really only one thing he could say.
"I'm in! So what all does getting Kingdom Hearts entai--"[/b]
Jack never got the chance to finish his sentence as he had grabbed Maleficent's hand to shake it, and suddenly was flooded with information. Memories, long forgotten, yet remembered memories. Memories so filled with information it was as if they were overflowing and all of it was going into Jack's brain. It was...almost too much...almost.
"What...what was that?!"[/b] Jack exclaimed as his hand was released, and therefore the memories stopped. Jack was gasping as he continued, "I suddenly...know all these things...and it was like they were memories that I'd never had! What...is all of it?"[/b] Jack asked yet again as he clutched his now throbbing head. It was almost too much for him to handle...but he liked all this knowledge. It made him feel more...powerful, almost.

Maleficent laughed slightly as he let go of her hand, ending the rememberance of memories. His expression and staggered words showed her exactly what he was thinking. She turned to him and held up a finger, trying to get him to be quiet. When he finally asked his question, she nodded, ready to explain.
"I have been living for some length of time. That... Was my memories of our enemies. The keybladers, Organization XIII, the Dark XII, and so on, as well as my memories of our ultimate goal, Kingdom Hearts. From the images and video you were shown, you now know a lot of what I know regarding the vast worlds. So... I ask you again... Any questions?"[/color]
Jack was still slightly overwhelmed with this sudden rush of memories, knowledge, feelings...he almost couldn't take it. Fortunately, it only gave him a headache instead of a coma. "...So...I ask you again...do you have any questions?"[/color] At first, Jack almost said "Nope! Although...you really are old!" But then realized...he had a multitude of questions! But, a couple specifically popped to the front of his mind.
"Yes...I do. First...why do those people have Keyblades? What makes them get one, and everyone else not? And...what do you plan on doing this time differently to ensure you don't lose as you have before?"[/b] he said as he gingerly rubbed his forehead, hoping that the headache would subside as the knowledge set in.
