Ikari isn't magically dependent, however, she does enjoy using fire magic. She was highly fascinated by the blue to white substance at an early age and was taught to harness and control it by her foster mother. Though, along with her being taught fire magic, Ikari was forced to learn Thunder magic as well so that her magical capabilities weren't limited.
Learning these abilities, Ikari had also learned to be fire resistant, but only to a set magical limit. Taking the time to up her fire magic and resistance, Ikari's Thunder magic is highly lacking. It backfires on her most of the time if she attempts to use anything higher than a basic Thunder spell... though she has been known to cast a successful Thundara spell, it's just very rare.
Ikari's mana level is very low compared to her speed and stanima levels.
Fire Resistance[/u]: Ikari can resist fire magic, but only to a certain amount before the resistance is broken. So far, Ikari can take the heat all the way to high Fira casts, anything higher, and it starts to affect the fire user.
Fireworks[/u]: Granted Ikari doesn't carry a sack of fireworks everywhere she goes, she actually combines her Fire and Thunder spells to create something reminiscent of actual fireworks. It's not a very strong cast, but it does provide for a good distraction.
Firebolt[/u]: A strong fire spell that Ikari has (Fira level at least). She focuses her mana to a focus point at the palm of her hand(s) and shoots a strong plume of fire towards her enemy.
Will-O-Wisp[/u]: Ikari targets a certain foe and summons three to five little 'wisps' of fire that she sends their way. Not a strong summon/cast by any stretch of the imagination. It just leaves mild burns, should it reach the enemy. Most of the time, the wisps fade out before they
can reach their target.
Dragon's Breath[/u]: Another one of Ikari's stronger attacks/casts. She focuses her mana to her mouth and is able to 'breath' fire.
Blade Spark[/u]: A weak attack. Ikari focuses a small amount of mana in her hands while wielding Dragon's Flame and has electricity gather around the blade. It discharges upon coming into contact with her target.
Flame's End[/color][/i][/u]: More of a 'trump card' or 'Ace in the hole' for Ikari. Flame's End is a Firaga level cast that has the help of both Ikari's rage and the fire magic boost from Dragon's Flame. Pillars of flames and fire swirling around Ikari is an obvious signal that she's about to cast this powerful attack. Note that Ikari would never use this attack unless
A) she's saving herself,
B) she's saving a friend, or
C) she's extremely (and I mean
extremely[/b]) pissed off.
Speed[/u]: Since Ikari isn't exactly magically dependent or even has a good defense for that matter, Ikari is extremely swift. Her stamina is also rather high and assists her with running around and dodging attacks. Also, all Ikari needs to distract her opponent is something that lasts for three to six seconds and she'll be gone from where she was, that's just an example of how fast she is. Ikari has speed over defense.

Feir EarringThough technically not a weapon by any means, it does have it's own little capability. As long as Ikari wears this earring of hers, someone who somehow gets a hold of Dragon's Flame cannot use the blade against her. Should they try, the earring creates a magical force field to protect Ikari.
As a KeyBearer
Secret's KeptAppearance:
Taking the form of an old fashioned key for the lock of a girl's jewelry box or something of the like, Secret's Kept is a base KeyBlade very much like Sora's Kingdom Key.
Keeping to the old fashioned look, Secret's Kept is actually tarnished in some places, but there are some spots on it that are still shining it's original silver color. The hilt of the blade is wrapped with cured and polished leather for gripping, and the guard is also made out of silver, though is in much better condition than the blade.
There
is a key chain on this base, but again, much like Sora's Kingdom Key, the key chain on there is more of a decoration than it is something that boosts the blade's power. Though, like other KeyBlades that are out there, Secret's Kept is stronger than other weapons against Heartless and Nobodies.
Key Chain: Lacking any power of any sort, the Key Chain that is attached to Secrets Kept, again, is just a mere decoration. It appears to be half of a heart with a jagged edge where it 'broke'. The heart half also appears to be made out of gold with a silver lock on it.
Power:
There is no real power that Secret's Kept has. However, there
are two other Key chains that can be used on this base. The Flame Pendant (Temporal Flame) and Feir Charm (Two Paths).
Temporal FlameAppearance:
A burnt color of orange and just about every other flame-based color is found on this particular Keyblade. The blade, itself, is made to represent the strong will and 'burning determination' that's best represented by the graceful mythical being, Phoenix. Having a red, glowing jewel near the tip of the blade, there's a half-ring around that's crested with phoenix feathers that look like they're constantly smoldering like embers in a fire.
Lining the base of the blade are curved and stiffened wing feathers with a golden yellow, down feather cresting that provides more as a decoration than anything else. Like the feathers that crust the jewel on the blade, they, too, look like they're smoldering.
Miniature, flaming wings sprout from above the hilt of Temporal Flame and serve as a guard. The hilt, itself, is a dark, dark maroon color with a rough texture for good gripping.
Key Chain: At the very bottom of the hilt of Temporal Flame is a solid silver base that has a key chain attached. The key chain is a silver backed, ruby pendant with the Japanese symbol for 'fire' engraved on it.
Power:
Phoenix's GraceTemporal Flame is the transformed KeyBlade of Secret's Kept once the Flame Pendant is attached onto the bottom of the hilt. The KeyBlade has the same affect as Ikari's regular scimitar, Dragon's Flame, however, the boosts are a lot greater. Speed, strength and fire magic capabilities increase greatly than just by some that her scimitar provided at first.
Also... due to the mythical creature, the phoenix's ability, the blade also allows the wielder to heal faster than he/she would without it.
Two PathsAppearance:
A jagged look is what most people notice about this mostly dark blade. The blade looks like two flattened, metal rods asphyxiated upon a guard and hilt with down pointed arcs connecting the two in the center. On the top of one of the 'rods' is a heart-shaped figure with a curl coming out from underneath. The other 'rod', however, only points up at a slant.
At the center of the blade of Two Paths, there's an outcropping that's golden in color that supports a red heart. There's no real significance to this, other than to signify the blade's true meaning, saying that a heart can either go to the light or fall into the dark; thus making Two Paths more of a Neutral KeyBlade, much like Riku's Way to the Dawn.
The guard of Two Paths signifies that as well. As one side is more of a 'pure' welcoming looking half of a heart while the other side is more of a jagged, 'evil' looking heart over the navy and yellow, cotton and linen wrapped hilt.
Key Chain: The bottom of the hilt has a steel base that has the key chain attached to it (not pictured). The Key chain is the other Feir earring that was made into a charm. The Feir charm is one of Ikari's most prized possessions, and looks to be a red, triangular charm with a topaz center that's at the end of a long silver chain and green/red cured set of strands alongside it.
Power:
Heart StruckA Neutral KeyBlade, yet a strong ability. Two Paths offers a strength boost as well as an increase in attack speed. This allows the wielder to land more hits than he/she normally would be able to. Due to those specific boosts, Two Paths takes other abilities that the wielder has and lessens them. The two main attributes being weakened being magical capabilities and defense.
Side note: Secret's Kept is a base KeyBlade, meaning that it's the only one that Ikari's got. Just because there are three KeyBlades listed in the profile does not mean that they're all separate. Secret's Kept has two key chains to it; one to transform it to Temporal Flame, or the other to transform it to Two Paths.
Ikari is not a dual wielder, unless you account the fact that she uses both her KeyBlade and her regular scimitar at the same time. However, she does not use two KeyBlades at once.Picture

Appearance
Standing at 5'5" and weighing in at a light 112 lbs., Ikari first comes across as looking like a relatively weak, trying-to-look-tough tomboy. Her small stature shouldn't fool anyone, as far as she's concerned. Though Ikari doesn't look it, she's fast and pretty strong for someone that's her size.
A curtain of black bangs that sweep to the left covers her forehead most of the time and sometimes even her eyes. The rest of her black hair is usually pretty straight and comes down to about her mid-neck area. Piercing green eyes peek out from underneath her hair, should they be hidden by it, and they're almost always in an intimidating, cold stare that makes her look irritated or angry. If Ikari softens her glare, she actually looks like an innocent girl from time to time.
The clothing style that Ikari favors isn't exactly colorful, save for the few spots of red that's intermixed with her black and white garments. A black, sleeveless, zip-up hoodie with a red pocket over the left breast is worn over a sleeveless white shirt. A black and white striped sleeve that covers Ikari's left arm is worn and an elbow brace that shows the bend of the elbow is worn on the right arm. Black fingerless gloves are worn over her hands for slight protection. Ikari also sports black cargo shorts that end slightly below her knees; two red straps with a single black line running down the middle serve as decorations to Ikari's shorts and are worn to the sides and around her thighs. The footwear that finishes off this attire isn't exciting at all... just white, ankle high socks and black and white, lace-up shoes are worn on her feet.
Ikari's emergency clothing style choice is something that she had tailored in Radiant Garden. A black, sleeveless, leather vest with a white, gray-tipped fur collar is worn over a black, short-sleeved fishnet shirt. White bracers ar found on Ikari's forearms that start from her wrist and end below her elbows. Her pants are simple, faded out, dark blue jeans that are slightly torn at the bottom from wearing them down while walking. A white belt with spaced out, small black stripes is worn in a diagonal position around her hips in this attire. Ikari also switches from her normal shoes to a pair of brown leather boots.

Personality
At first, Ikari is definitely not one of the nicest people you could run into. She's got a sassy attitude and a lot of witty, as well as, sarcastic remarks. She's also downright rude to a lot of people upon meeting them, meaning she'll be rather blunt when commenting on something.
Her attitude problem has gotten better since her being stuck on the Destiny Islands. Less wit and rude comments escape her lips, and people can actually carry a decent conversation with her. Ikari's actually been acting a lot nicer since then... definitely something that's refreshing to people that have met her before.
Besides that, Ikari has been known to have a soft spot for animals. She's got a belief that animal company is a lot better than human company most of the time. Ikari only believes that since most of the time when animals are befriended, they offer unconditional love... not to mention they don't exactly judge, either. It's something that Ikari admires of animals.
There
are times where Ikari acts somewhat shy. It's a rather rare occurrence, but it's only really been witnessed around one person. It's believed to be her actually starting to like said person. She's unable to keep eye contact, her attitude is softened by a tenfold, and she actually tries to be around the person more often than not.

History/Background
Born into Twilight Town originally as Hikari Kusagi, Hikari lived her first five and a half years with her parents before they both passed away to a certain illness. All that Hikari was left with was the memory of a woman singing her a lullaby and a pair of red, triangular earrings.
Hikari was put into an orphanage and lived there for about three months. It was enough time to have her grow bitter at the fact that to her, it was like her parents had abandoned her. A woman by the name of Terina Nezuyu adopted Ikari after hearing what had happened with her and how she had ended up in the orphanage in the first place. The way Hikari had interacted with the other children that lived at the orphanage also played a large role in Terina adopting the young, bitter Hikari.
Hikari started to live with Terina, having her last name of Kusagi changed to Nezuyu. It wasn't long after that Hikari also changed the characters in her name from 'Hikari' to just 'Ikari' She found it to be much more fitting than her true name before she was enrolled into a school system.
While attending school for the first couple of years, Ikari was somewhat of a problem child; ripping the heads off of dolls, putting earthworms in the teacher's cup, and starting fights with the other kids that she had class with. When Ikari had turned eight, that's when a girl she had never met was put into the same class as her... this girl's name was Kirata Illusend. Ikari was highly resistant to the idea of having this... '
Kirata' as a friend at all. Kirata kept trying to be Ikari's friend, despite the raven-haired girl's protests.
Around the time Ikari had actually met Kira, she became fascinated by fire and it's fatal beauty. Terina had noted Ikari's fascination of fire and revealed her ex-mage position to her foster child. It wasn't long after that Terina had Ikari reading certain magic books to help her with mana control and to cast basic Fire spells. During this time, Ikari was able to learn a basic fire spell, Will-O-Wisp, something that wasn't very dangerous, but served as a great beginner's spell. From there, Ikari's fire magical capabilities bloomed.
It wasn't till a couple of years later, when they were both ten, when Kirata had actually defended Ikari from getting hurt at school that Ikari had finally accepted Kirata as a friend. Finally having a friend to talk to, Ikari had invited Kirata to her home, not knowing that Kirata was about to become her magic partner as well. Terina had taken the ginger-haired girl in as a student as well... and in a short amount of time, Ikari grew slightly jealous of her friend's fast capability to learn magic. The jealousy disappeared as soon as Ikari realized that Kirata was actually learning more than just fire-based magic.
After learning a decent amount of magic casts and spells from Terina, both girls were made to be either sparring partners or tested to see how well they could work together. To put it simply, the girls were trained as soon as the threat of Heartless had appeared among the worlds. Ikari was worn out faster when using magic, but when it came to strength and speed, she lasted longer. It was clear that Ikari was stamina dependent whereas Kirata was magically dependent.
It was a good couple of years of this training before Ikari had actually picked up a kendo practice sword, or a bokken, and had been trained against dummies to see how well she could actually sword fight. Again, it was another thing that piqued her foster mother's interest with Ikari. Another year of training with the bokken, Ikari was later presented with Dragon's Flame, a one handed scimitar that made her feel stronger for some reason.
At thirteen, that's when Ikari and Kirata had actually started going out camping on their own outside of Twilight Town. That's when
they had actually learned of the foul, humanoid creatures that were better known as Heartless. Luckily for them, they could fend them off, due to the Heartless not being very strong or even very threatening... just little Shadow Heartless. It was also noted that they weren't easy to get rid of using just their regular weapons, but magic seemed to affect them more. It was a little frustrating for Ikari to have to rely on Kira a lot of the time, but that's the way the cards panned out the situation.
The camp outs between Ikari and Kirata were more for fun than anything else... 'a girl's night out' if one wished to call it that. It was normally during weekends or during the summertime that these little outings were being done. During these times, Ikari would actually share stuff about her past and her inner feelings with Kirata... strengthening their friendship more and more. So basically, these times were times where Ikari was actually beginning to open up.
Another year later, when Kirata had just turned fourteen, the two of them had planned another camp out that was going to be a more special one than the previous ones before just to celebrate. Though, little did either of them know, a cloaked being was watching them...
had been watching them for quite some time, only waiting for an opportune moment to strike out at them and try to steal their magical capabilities.
Ikari wasn't alerted to this person's presence until it was already too late. She heard Kirata scream, turned and saw her best friend grabbed and then dragged into a dark portal that had been formed. The fire-user had actually reached a desperate hand out, hoping that she could still save her friend... but no such luck, Kirata had disappeared into the portal before her very eyes, leaving Ikari there with a look of horror and shock upon her face.
Rushing back to Twilight Town, Ikari told her aged foster mother of the news. Terina simply smiled to Ikari, handed her her belongings as well as told her to wear one of the earrings that she had been left with since her real parents died and then opened a portal of her own. The notion confused Ikari, and it confused her more as her foster mother said something about her own time coming and shoving Ikari through.
She landed on a hard, cobbled surface and was immediately greeted by a man that was a lot older than her, though had a kind face. He allowed a place for her to live for as long as she lived in this place, which she later learned was called Hallow Bastion. She was grateful for the man's, Alek's, kindness, and in return, helped him run the inn he owned when she wasn't busy trying to look for a way off that world or a lead on her friend. A year of living there, Ikari later saw that the world had changed... it was no longer known as Hallow Bastion, but now Radiant Garden.
Role Playing Sample
Ikari finally saw the end of the portal and was finally released from the creamy, warm, white lights that surrounded her.... She saw the night sky speckled with glittering stars before she landed in water. Breaking through the calm water, she was lucky to have not have stabbed herself as she flailed into the water with Dragon's Flame tightly in her grasp. Surfacing, Ikari spat out salt water as she turned in the water and then saw an island. Swimming for it, the fire user was rather peeved to have landed in an ocean.
'Better than concrete or any other hard surface, I suppose....' Ikari bitterly thought as she swam forwards and finally reached water of four and half feet. Wading to the dry beach, she cursed the fact that she was wet and shook out her hair. Reaching the bay to where the water crashes against the sand, Ikari wobbled on the sandy surface for a second or two. Sheathing her scimitar, she walked the coastline, allowing the ocean breeze to air dry her and her clothing. Though it was cold and Ikari refrained from shivering as the wind blew and chilled her body.
"What is this world anyways?" Ikari asked aloud to herself, her jaw shaking from the coldness as she looked around to the ocean and to the tropical trees that were about ten meters from the bay. Walking towards the tropical trees, she hadn't expected to see houses and any signs of people living here. But hey, anything was possible. Especially if you were going to different worlds. Heck, Ikari had ended up as a helpless jackal once when she traveled to a certain world. It's safe to say that she was pretty freaked out at the time. Though, that subject is straying way off course of where she was and what was going on.
Ikari's shoes crunched against the seawater grass that poked up from the sand and touched the tropical trees to help her navigate through the darkness. Sneaking about, she tried not to alarm anyone to her presence. Hardly anything was visible, Ikari only had the help of the moon to guide her steps. But even that wasn't enough as she accidentally bumped into something. Scrambling up, she hadn't realized it was actually a person and started forward once more, reaching out and actually putting her hand on said person's shoulder.
Realizing what it was, Ikari couldn't help but let out a small yelp and jump back a little. Trying to ignite a fire with her mana, she shakily asked while trying not to chatter her teeth,
"w-w-who are you?" Her fire had been stubborn to ignite because of how damp she was, and Ikari just gave up on it. She looked to where she had touched this 'shoulder' and tried having her eyes adjust in the darkness to make out what she was looking at.

My comments here are the ones pertaining to the site and other events that have gone on. Ikari and Riku-- they're pretty much together, it was something that was hinted a lot when Velum [previous Riku RPer] had Riku himself. Now that I have Riku, I intend to keep it that way.
Also... profile recently edited to add the KeyBlades that won in the KeyBlade Competition that ended May 13th, 2009. The KeyBlades are: Secret's Kept, Temporal Flame and Two Paths.
