In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Mierda..." Great, this was -just- great. Now she was trapped in the lockdown and she was going to die with no way out. Really, why the hell had she jumped into the Ullyses fleet`s bandwagon? Sure, she wanted a new shop for her elderly dad and her to enjoy, but was it really necessary? Was her own life worth it?
A soft sigh escaped her lips as her hands touched the cold hatch, desperately looking for a weak spot to hit and try to open. But deep down, Audrey knew she would be unable to do anything; after all, the ship was hard and it would take more than a tomboy's jabs to break it apart. Regardless, she was not willing to give up; not now...
Holding her trusty spanner in her right hand grasp, Audrey sent her arm forward in an attempt to break a hole into the hatch. Clang... clang... clang... but it had done nothing more but denting it. Her brow furrowed as she stared at the door before her. The ship didn't have much time before breaking apart: fifteen minutes with luck. Holding the tool by her belt, the latina delivered a couple of quick jabs and a strong kick for luck.
Nada.
Her lips now offered a scowl as she glared at the locked hatch; she was quite desperate to get out and make a run for the escape pods. Ramirez bit her bottom lip, knowing that she would regret doing what she was about to do if it somehow worked. Taking a deep breath, the young prodigy stepped forward and released a high-pitched scream, hoping for someone (anyone) to hear and aid her.
"HELP! HELP! ANYONE!" she cried, pounding at the door for someone to hear. A couple of minutes went by and just as she was thinking about giving up and sitting to wait for her death, Audrey heard another voice... a male's...
"SWEET! SWEET! HELP! I'M TRAPPED IN HERE!" As much as she hated the idea of becoming the damsel in distress, Audrey didn't have much of a choice. Her right ear stood now against the hatch, hoping to hear Joshua's voice once more. If someone would be willing to stop by and save her it would be him. Or maybe that mumbling profesor... Milo was it? Anyway, she expected Thatch to be long gone by now.
"Audrey? Audrey, is that you?"
"Just get me out of here! We'll chat later!" she snapped, stepping away from the door. Even though he was quite strong, Ramirez doubted Dr. Sweet would be able to knock the door down. Regardless, she would not underestimate him. After another minute or two of suspense and anxiety, the door burst open, leading her to launch herself out of that place. She glanced sideways, spotting the colored doctor near the locking wheel; she had thought that wheel had been damaged. Whispering a thank you to whatever god she believed in, she made a run to the escape pods, seizing Sweet's hand in the process. "We have to go NOW! This place is ready to blow into pieces at any minute now!"
She would not have paid attention if Joshua had said something else; the young mechanic had only one objective right now: survive.
They soon reached the escape pods, with only a few minutes to spare. Audrey pushed the jock beside her into the nearest one before jumping into it herself. She would soon notice that they were not alone: a pissed Wilhelmina had been there first, trying to reestablish the phone connection she had with that friend of hers. The latina girl rolled her eyes, locking the door and releasing them into outer space...
Her consciousness slowly returned to her, bringing the memories of the Ullysses back to her. Indeed, she had told Rourke that the ship wouldn't go harmless through an asteroid belt but they were all desperate to go and get their money. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she forced her seat harness open, falling on the escape pod's inner roof; so it wasn't just her imagination that they were all upside down.
Audrey looked around, spotting an unconscious Wilhelmina on her own seat. Good, she was still alive... but where was Joshua? Where had they crash landed? She crawled her way to the exit, which was open already; maybe the doctor had returned to consciousness before her. Taking a deep breath the young mechanic stepped forward, being hit by the full force of the bright sun. She squinted, raising her hand in an effort to block the sunlight from her face.
Smoke emerged from five different spots near their pod and she could just assume they were allied mercenary escape pods as well. Audrey crouched, picking up the navy blue hat that had just fallen off her head; hopefully Dr. Sweet, or anyone else, would come to help them soon at this Sunset Terrace.

Bolt ran around Twilight Town, unsure as to where he was now. Last he knew, he was in his home back in Hollywood, and then the sky went dark and he felt a strange power going through him. But when he awoke, he was on this world, filled with a strange light. Sure, he could only see in Black and White, but he could still tell it was a strange light. He ran around the world, looking for his friends, but along the way, he realized that he had received his powers from back on the show. He had accidently used his heat vision, and used his super speed.
The two changes he hadn't quite realized were that he was not invincible and that he could talk like a human. That would be realized later. But before he could keep thinking on that, he watched as a strange ship fell from the sky and crashed by the town on the other side of the train. Making his way over to that side of town, he followed the smoke to the giant hill next to the town. He ran up to the top of the hill and noticed a girl standing there, next to the ship. She looked like she was looking for someone, but Bolt wondered if she was okay, so he ran up to her.
Sitting down in front of her, he tilted his head and whimpered slightly, hoping that she would let him help. He wasn't sure who she was looking for, but being a dog, he would be able to sniff out whoever she was looking for. Now it was up to her and if she would shoo him away or allow him to help.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she managed to hold herself together, even though her body now began to ache. Damn... so she -had- hit herself pretty hard in that crash. Audrey bit her bottom lip as she continued to glance around, looking for any sign of Dr. Sweet or the mercenaries. Her hands went to the back of her overalls and for a moment she was struck with a sudden paranoia: her gun was gone.
Sure, the latino girl could take care of herself with a few jabs and punches but having such a deadly weapon at her disposal was sure comforting, specially since she was exploring a practically unknown world. Tightening the grip holding her navy blue hat, Ramirez approached the wreckage once more, crawling her way into the damaged pod to search for her weapon. She knew it had to be somewhere there...
As she turned to look at Wilhelmina once more, just making sure that she was still okay, her hands caressed the object she was looking for. Her face lighted up as she held the handgun on her hands, quite relieved she had found it. For a moment Audrey had forgotten she was in such a small place and suddenly bumped her head against the pod's ceiling... or floor.
After muttering a couple of her own father's favorite swear words in another language, she crawled her way out of the escape pod, the weapon now safely kept in its place by her belt. Another sigh escaped her as she glanced around, hoping to see a familiar face or maybe even someone willing to help her look. Sure, she could salvage the wreckages for parts to build another ship but she needed a crew to fly it.
Suddenly, just as she had convinced herself to walk toward one of the other crash sites to search for any survivors, Audrey heard a cry. Well, not a cry... more like a whimper. She glanced to her side, her eyes finding a small being of white looking at her. Ramirez had to hold back an urge to crouch and wrap her arms around such a fluffy being; the young mechanic had always had a soft spot for puppies and this one was just adorable.
She kneeled, her eyes meeting his as she raised a hand to pet him, forgetting her current situation in that moment of hope and wonder...

Bolt could tell by the look on her face, her expressions, her words, that she was worried and that something was wrong. He wasn't sure how much he could help as it seemed that she needed someone who could help rebuild this crashed ship, something that Bolt couldn't really help with. He couldn't fly it very well either unless they put something in that allowed with the control of paws or teeth. But he did realize something he could help with after she turned around and saw him.
His presence seemed to wash the worry away from her as she knelt down and tried to pet him. Normally, he didn't like this unless it was from Penny. But he knew that this was distracting her, and that she needed it. So he nudged forward to pet her hand with his own head. Now it was just a matter of time of figureing out what needed to be done. He looked behind her at the crashed ship where it seemed that only an old and sleeping lady could be seen. Bolt barked at the girl before her as if asking what he could do to help.
Roxas had been sitting on top of the clock tower, as was his daily routine. You know, wake up, go explore a distant world, check out the world that never was (avoid Saix...), look for Axel, and then come back to Twilight Town and watch the sunset from his favorite spot. Just as he had taken off his hood and sat down, the key of destiny saw somethin flare in the sky.
He jumped to his feet and held his hand above his eyes, trying to get a better look at the thing. All he could tell was that something big and on fire was heading straight towards sunset terrace. Not bothering to use the stairs, Roxas dropped off the tower and used glide to get down to the ground, where he hit the ground running. He burst into the station, skidded to a halt in front of the ticket counter, paid the munny he needed to get a ticket to sunset terrace, and then jumped on the train.
About halfway through the train ride, he smacked his palm to his forehead. why didn't I just portal to the terrace? Seriously.... I need to think before I do these stupid things...
Creating a dark portal in front of him, he quickly ducked through it and appeared in the underground that led to the terrace. Closing his portals, he ran up to the crash site, which was on the hill just outside of town.
Putting his hood up, which completely hid his face in darkness, Roxas portaled to the hilltop and quickly ducked behind some wreckage. Good. No heartless, at least. Or Nobodies, for that matter. There seems to be four hearts out there...
Peering around the Wreckage, Roxas took note of the humanoid, crouched over a white canine with stark white fur. Quietly, Roxas walked out of his hiding spot, slowly advancing toward the two figures, hands at his sides, ready for any surprises.
Nyra was running, a breeze rushing around her ankles to augment her speed. She had no idea if Chopsuey or Seth were following her, or if they would even bother. She had become gripped by an overwhelming curiosity the moment she saw the smoke in the sky. It was different from nearly being killed by a spaceship's crash landing; this time, Nyra had no idea what the sound she had heard was, had no clue if the cause was other-worldly or something that was just a part of Twilight Town she hadn't discovered. Given the sleepy nature of the part of this world she had seen already, she highly doubted the latter was true.
At last she reached the source of the smoke, feeling a hint of pride in herself for remembering her way around streets she'd walked only once before. The feeling dissipated as she turned the corner. Before her lay a massive hulk of wreckage, six mars to the picture-esque quality of the Sunset Terrace. All were smoking, and the ground and buildings around them were black and charred.
Nyra slowed to a walk, panting. As she approached she noticed movement - through boughs of twisted metal she spotted a flash of white. A dog. The curiosity quickened her pace again, and she circumnavigated the wreckage to make her way towards the creature. She hadn't seen a true canine since leaving Tamara.
As she came in view, though, Nyra drew herself to a halt. The dog had approached a woman she hadn't noticed before, with a physique the likes of which she'd never seen. Considering the assortment of odd people she'd met so far, Nyra thought it strange to be awed at yet another difference between her world and others, but she couldn't help it. She never knew skin could come in a light brown shade.
Before she could get overwhelmed by the huge amount of new experiences that were pounding on her senses, tugging at her brain in an attempt to take it all in, Nyra spoke up. "Um. . . hello." She said. At once she felt awkward and out of her element. But she continued talking, the sight of all the ruined machinery worrying her. "What's going on? Is everybody okay?"
Nyra took a moment to look closer at her surroundings. Apart from one or two stragglers picking themselves up from the rubble, she noticed no particular threat. Her back was to the hooded figure that had emerged from the darkness only moments before.
The brief survey of the area made Nyra wonder if things falling out of the sky was a regularity in Twilight Town.
"He took his suitcase? Margey, I don't think he's coming back!" As Wilhelmina Packard tried to have a nice conversation with her friend, all hell broke loose in the ship as it cruised through outer space. "Margey? I'm gonna have to call you back. No, no. I'll call you!" she said as she hung up her phone, wishing that she could have just stayed at home. The only thing that had kept her from doing so was the money she was going to get after this job.
After slowly gathering her stuff, and lighting a new cigarette, Wilhelmina walked toward an escape pod, not moving quickly at all. As she plopped down in a seat, she got out the huge headphones she always wore, and her semi-large piece of machinery that was used as a phone for her. She was turning knobs and dials, trying to get it to tune in on a signal that she could use to talk to her friends, specifically, Margey. "Why won't this darn thing work? Oh, I give up. she thought to herself as Audrey jumped into the escape pod, along with Dr. Sweet.
"...We're all gonna die." she said as the escape pod shot of, into space.
Wilhelmina didn't remember much from their travels in the escape pod as they quickly crash landed on Twilight Town, and she was knocked unconscious. Luckily they didn't all die when they landed, as Wilhelmina had predicted. "Ooooh" Wilhelmina moaned quietly as she rubbed her head, and tried to get up, and hit her head, yet again. "Where are we?" she said, as she attempted sitting up again, only to realize nobody was near her. Great. Where is Margey when you need her?
A sound of metal being disturbed sounded from one of the further escape pods. One of the pods had been very unfortunate in it's landing as it was smashed open like a grapefruit that hit the pavement hard. Burning ferociously and spewing out a thick black smoke plume. But it had also been obscuring the view for what laid behind it. And that was the last of the escape pods that made it on Sunset Terrace.
"Audreyyy!" sounded coming from afar. The voice of Doctor Joshua 'Strongbear' Sweet rolled over the carnage till it reached the ears of the young Latina girl. From the thick black smoke, the figure of Dr. Sweet appeared. Over his shoulder he was carrying a wounded soldier, while dragging a second one over the ground with his other hand. Bringing them to safety from the burning wreckage. So far Audrey was the only one he knew who made it safely to the escape pods. Where the other pods go, he didn't know. Nor as to who would be inside them.
Dragging the wounded soldiers out into a clearing, he caught sight of her. Lowered down, trying to pet a white dog. For a moment, a smile arose on Sweet's face. His thick lips curled up as his pearly white teeth shined and sparkled. Despite her tough attitude, Audrey really was just a little girl at times. Her cries for help back on the ship proved that already. Not that there had been any doubt in the doctor's mind that her tomboyish behavior really was just an act.
The painful mourn of the soldier brought him back to reality. He had patients to tend to. Turning all his attention to the wounded, he failed to notice the gathering of curious bystanders that we're approaching the crash site. Ripping open the shirt, blood and wounds became clear while Sweet realized that he was in bad shape and need medical attention. Raising his head he shouted with his low loud voice that could be heard by everybody that was closeby: "Audrey... Anybody! I need help!"
Smoke emerged from five different spots near their pod and she could just assume they were allied mercenary escape pods as well.
Psst - don't forget, guys, that there were other people aboard the Ulysses fleet apart from the main characters. Some of them landed too and survived. For now they'll be background people - they'll die off once we battle some more bosses later on. ;] ))

"Out of my way, stoopeed human!" Chopsuey yelled as he pushed aside some short guy in a dark cloak . The little green experiment rushed forward towards the crash site .... oh what a beautiful sight it was. Destruction, failure, hopefully atleast one guy with his guts spewed across the floor ....
As the alien came closer and closer to the ship, he had caught sight of a few survivors from the crash, amonst the smoking, broken pods of machinery. They were .... humans?! .... So, humans ARE capable of space flight, as he had been told ..... The thought of humans having access to this technology worried him. How long had THIS been going on?
Chopsuey lept forward and landed next to Nyra, a sort of "friend" he had made earlier. She had a look of worry and curiousity on her face. Chopsuey on the other hand looked curious, but disappointed, mainly because the damage wasn't as he expected. "Hmph. You left the sefety of our garage for THEEZ? Aye. Theez eezn't very fun or resourceful." He lightly growled his sarcastic question to Nyra.
The alien's ears perked up as he spotted out one of the survivors, a dark-skinned girl (Audrey), petting one of those weird, barking animals that he had seen back on Hawaii ...... Chopsuey leaped forward towards the two of them. He had now armed himself with his red plasma gun and pointed the weapon at the human girl's face.
"OKAY then! Who the heck are you?! What are you do-eeng here on theez plehnet?! Were you ettecked or were you just really bed pilots?!"
"All right, time to land...Gosh, I sure hope I can remember how to." a floppy eared dog said nervously. It was usually Sora who had flown and landed the Gummie ship on their past adventures but with him being back on the Islands and with Donald gone off somewhere it left Goofy all on his own. The Knight pulled some levers and pressed a few buttons and the ship slowed. Goofy gave a sigh of relief as the ship reached the view of Twilight Town and the ship gave an on screen message confirming to land; which Goofy pressed the button it indicated and he was phased down to Twilight Town. Little to his knowledge there was more exciting things happening with another ship just around the world.
He phased in at The Usual Spot and looked around to see if anyone might have seen him. The Knight was rather sad to see that Hayner, Pence, or Olette were here but he cheered up when he assumed he could see them walking around town. He walked past the drape and saw several people running towards the train station; seeing how a big smoke stack was in the air Goofy decided he must go to. "Someone could be hurt, good thing I decided to visit." Goofy said as he pressed a button on the watch he was wearing and he was taken back to the Gummie Ship. Once back in the captains seat he pressed a few more buttons and was asked by the computer to land in Sunset Terrace. Naturally he answered yes and was phased down there.
However, when he arrived he did not expect to see what was waiting. There was a ship crashed into the ground with only one apparent survivor petting a dog. Goofy got a little mad when he saw that some green thing had produced a weapon and was pointing it at the girl and threatening her. His trusty shield (Save the King) was taken from his place on his back as he jogged up and asked rather calmly. "Gawrsh, that's no way ta talk to someone who crashed. Give this lady a chance to say what happened okay?" he turned to the girl and extended his arm for a handshake and said with a big smile on his face, "Hiya, the names Goofy! I hope you're okay..."
((Since there's too many of us in this thread, I am removing the posting order to use a round system instead. You can only post once in a round but there is no posting order to follow. Her lips curved into a smile when the dog accepted her touch, feeling him caress her hand with his own head. This one reminded her of a similar pooch she had cared for once; the latina girl was quite young when she found him... actually he found her, following her back home after Audrey had been sent to the market for the usual groceries and stuff. Though they were quite reluctant to keep him at first, the dog soon grew on the rest of the family and they "adopted" him. His death would eventually come and it would be a really low blow for Audrey; she had truly loved him...
Noticing a collar of crimson around the snow white dog's neck, she gently held it with her free hand as she read and learned his name. Bolt... it was quite a beautiful name. It made her wonder how fast he could run for a moment, but she quickly dismissed the childish question. The mechanic turned to look at him once more before speaking to him for the first time. "Bolt, huh? Were you looking for someone too?"
"Um... hello."
She suddenly turned to look at the newcomer, her hand releasing the collar as she stood up. Apparently their crash had not gone unnoticed; Ramirez was quite sure that more curious bystanders would come to the crash site. Her eyes were now fixed on the girl's face, who now expressed her... concern and curiosity regarding the crash. Audrey didn't know if she could trust the female; sure, having her wear masculine clothes like herself gave her brownie points but the mechanic had learned not to judge a book by its cover.
"We crashed, and so far I've only seen three of us alive. I don't know if anyone else managed to make it..." she replied with a noticable hispanic accent. The girl had been mocked because of it many times in the past but she had learned to silence the taunting with fully loaded punches. Hopefully this newcomer wouldn't join that bandwagon; the thing she least needed in an unknown planet was an enemy.
And unfortunately, that enemy was the next to approach the crash site. Some sort of alien landed beside the mysterious girl and he was quick to draw out a... weapon; to be specific, one that resembled a gun.
"OKAY then! Who the heck are you?! What are you do-eeng here on theez plehnet?! Were you ettecked or were you just really bed pilots?!"
Offering the little creature a glare, Ramirez wrinkled her nose in disdain. That was no way to socialize with others... or at least, no way to socialize with her. She didn't like having a gun on her face at all. Another creature had arrived to defend her, a dog of some sort, but Audrey was not paying attention. Not giving it a second thought, she released her irritation in a power roundhouse kick to knock off the gun from the alien's grasp; the latina girl hadn't learned kick boxing for nothing. Taking advantage of the possible confusion and shock, she armed herself with a handgun of her own and pointed it at the hostile being.
"Maldito bueno para nada, you shouldn't have done that." she spat at him with a hand on her hip. Of course, Audrey probably wouldn't pull the trigger but she only wanted to scare the alien and force him to back off. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she turned her head, looking at the tall canine that had defended her. Smiling, she shook his hand as she spoke. "Thanks Goofy, the name's Audrey. Audrey Ramirez. Chief Mechanic of the-"
"Audrey... Anybody! I need help!"[/color]
"Joshua!" Audrey called back, lowering her weapon as she swiftly turned around and ran. It wasn't difficult to spot him; a wide grin graced her features as she approached him, now knowing that he -had- survived the crash. "For a moment I thought you had-"
The smile was wiped off her face as she noticed two men beside the doctor; Ramirez gasped in horror as she looked at the dead man's face, instantly recognizing him. He had hit his head pretty hard as the Ullysses entered the asteroid belt and she had been the one to drag him back to consciousness. Audrey bit her bottom lip, kneeling beside the other man; this one had been luckier, at least he was alive. "Is there any way I can help?" She looked at Sweet as she spoke; the girl didn't want to be a burden.

Bolt was surprised at all the people that had started to gather, and felt strangely uncomfortable as the crowd started to gather. He whimpered slightly and retreated closer to Audrey. He didn't like crowds when he wasn't around Penny. But things were starting to get weird. The strange alien creature had pulled out his plasma gun and pointed it at Audrey. At this, Bolt Growled. However, Audrey had other plans.
Due to a roundhouse kick, the gun was released from the alien's hand. Bolt barked at Audrey in amazement. It was nice to see that she could handle herself in regards to things like that. But he didn't like that the gun was still laying on the ground. He growled slightly at it, still staring. So far they had attracted the apperance of a black cloaked man, a girl who was concerned with the situation, the annoying alien, and a large talking dog. Plus there were two others that Audrey seemed to know. One had brought two people back with him.
Bolt followed behind Audrey and barked slightly, showing that if he could help, he would be happy to. But there is little that he can do. There will be something that he would hope for... That they would be able to fix up their ship and be ready to go. He looked up to Audrey, his ears perked up listening for anything further from the alien that was now behind him.

Seth walked at a slow pace as he silently wondered what could have crashed and made such a noise. Chopsuey and Nyra were now far ahead of him but he didn't mind. Less time spent being part of a confusion. He kept his hands in his pockets as some people started to look outside. Seeing him they quickly ducked back into their house, probably still worried he was going to kill them. After all, he wanted them dead, but for his homeworlds crimes, not theirs. He cared not though, for humans were humans.
Getting closer to the crash he smelled the smoke and smiled as he got closer to the wreckage. Rounding the corner he took a look at the people, dog, and whatever Chopsuey and the anthromorphic animal was. He saw one girl kick the gun out of chopsueys hands and he smiled slightly. Looking for the familiar form of Nyra he moved silently towards her. He once again took stock of the area, now that he was closer. Pods, similar to those at the labs but seemed to protect the person inside not keep people like him in stasis as they did what they wanted. Two people, possibly dead with two others leaning over them.
He saw one of Chopsuey's plasma guns on the ground and noticed the dog seemed worried about it. He shot a quick blast of ice at it hoping to encase it for the time being, he disliked Chopsuey waving those guns around and if he wanted him to un-freeze it he'd have to show some degree of civility. "So... can any of you tell me what exactly happened here?" He spoke calmly waiting for some form of an answer and hoping he'd be able to understand it.
"We crashed, and so far I've only seen three of us alive. I don't know if anyone else managed to make it..."
Nyra nodded, her eyes widening at the women's accent. But then, of course, Chopsuey caught up, and the somber mood was utterly demolished as he brandished his plasma guns about. A grin cracked across Nyra's features as the women spun around to powerkick the little alien. The dog barked appreciatively, and she considered joining along. She started to like the lady instantly. She hoped, though, that the spunky little woman didn't end up getting teleported to high heaven because of it. . .
Nyra realized with a start that she was standing beside some human-canine creature. She tried not to stare, telling herself yet again that she'd seen stranger things, but. . . the dog guy had armor on. He seemed good-natured, and had gone to assist the lady - Nyra knew her name to be Audrey now - before all present learned that she could fend for herself. "Hey. I'm Nyra," she introduced herself cautiously.
"Audrey. . . anybody! I need help!"
As soon as she heard the voice Nyra made a move to run over and help, but Audrey seemed to have it covered. She hovered close by anyway, in case there was an opportunity for her to provide assistance.
After a few moments Seth appeared at her side, eying the wreckage calmly. Nyra explained the situation as best as she could. "Obviously, they've crashed. I think they're all from the same world. There's been a few deaths, and we are still trying to get people out of the pods. . ." she paused as she said 'we', realizing for the first time how many people had gathered around the crash site. Everybody barring Chopsuey seemed to be trying to help. Breaking off mid-sentence, Nyra strode forward and crouched down beside Audrey.
