In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kairi chuckled to herself from remembering this place. With Merlin taking her in, she have easy access to the Secret Waterway rather than going through the clean sewer to get into the mystic caverns. This seemed to be the only place that reminded her of home and brought comfort from being far from the people that made home...home to her such as: her parents and her best friends, Sora and Riku.
Kairi could live with her parents worrying about her, but they have somewhat accepted her roaming nature, since she was never truly from Destiny Island and was their adopted daughter. What was hard to bear was leaving her friends without a world and walk amongst them as if her dissappearance wasn't going to occur soon. With a groan of frustration, Kairi grabbed a handful of her now short black hair. She didn't left to carry the weight of guilt, but to get stronger.
With her eyes darting around, she made sure she was alone. Seeing that the coast was clear, her hand shimmered with light before a blade extruded from it, the keyblade, Destiny's Place. She haven't had an efficient practice with it, since she wasn't ready to step out the closet to the entire worlds. Standing up from her previous brooding sitting position, she wielded the blade before practicing with her swings and slashes.
Pointing the keyblade outward, it started to gleam, while a bundle of water swirled before expelling into a funnel of water; she had successfully conducted the splash. With a smile, she moved her arm practicing navigation gaining control of the water instead it squirting around like a water hose. With a jerk of her wrist, the funnel died down with a few drips and drops before starting again, but smaller. Stretching out her spare hand she wondered if she could mold water without her keyblade.
Lately she's been surviving without using it, since she wants to get stronger without becoming dependant on the blade. No she wasn't thinking that the keyblade would leave her; hopefully it wouldn't, but she likes and admires the idea to have her own strength, then strength borrowed.
A low whistle echoed down the tunnel that led from the sewer entrance to the Secret Waterway. Artemis was walking with his hands in his pockets, his casual clothing unusual to him, but still comfterbale. He carried his staff in a sling on his back, which took place of his quiver. He had been told this was a nice place to visit and relax by Arthas, so he decided to pay a visit. He hoped for a chance to meditate and clear his thoughts, but was disappointed when he heard the splash of water. As he reached the edge of the water that others would have to wade through, he cast a minor Water spell that allowed him to walk on the water. Looking around the corner, he saw a girl with short black hair and he pulled back around the corner, intending to leave and not disturb the girl. But his focus had been broken and he tripped, falling into the water with a large splash. His spell had only been focused on his feet, so his body went under.
So much for silence.

Eyes widened hearing a splash, one she didn't cause. The keyblade was summoned away out of sight once seeing someone falling into the shallow waters. Kairi jogged towards the body not seeing it stir; she was compelled to do the childish thing, find a stick and poke him with it, but not everyone had the lungs of a whale to stay submerged for long.
Bending down, she grabbed his wet clothing to tug him up the bank of land. He wasn't a ton, but he was no lightweight. With a grunt, the Princess dragged him onto shore and shook her hand free of water. The maiden poked him with her foot, "Hello."
Not getting a response she poked a little harder in a kick, "Hellooo, mmm maybe I should take him to Merlin."
With a cough and some spit-up water, Artemis came to, taking heaving breaths. He looked up at the girl, confused as to what happened for a moment, then remembered. "Owww!" he said, holding his head as he realized the sharp pain in it, probably from hitting the water so hard. But he got up, a green aura surrounding his hand as he touched his head. He then turned to the girl and smiled, saying, "You pulled me out, I'm guessing. Thank you."
It was then he realized that his staff was gone from his back. Wide eyed, he looked around for it, for it also had his Aeon crystals on it. He managed to spy it underwater where he fell and sighed. The wood was designed to resist water and the crystals would be fine. Relieved, he turned to the girl and said, "Excuse me for a second." He cast another water-walking spell and treaded over to where his staff was, scooping it out of the water and shaking it off.

Good he's alright, Kairi thought behind a small smile, but her brows dipped in a concerned arch seeing him wince. It would be resourceful if she knew a cure spell; now she'll have to remind herself to ask Merlin about White Magic, since it will definately come in hand with the worlds' chaos, "You're welcome. You know you should always walk slowly through the water, slippery floor and all."
Her head turned to watchin him walk on water, while mentally asking how he did that. She wondered if she would be able to do stuff like that...eventually. Then again, who knows how many bodies of water she would come across to walk along. "Oh, I'm Shio."
As Artemis returned to the shore, he smiled at the girl's politeness and said to her, "It's a pleasure meeting you, Shio. My name is Artemis." With a sigh, he sat down, feeling a little more comfterbale around this new person. "I am sorry I intruded on your privacy, but a friend told me of this area. I wasn't expecting anybody to be here, to tell the truth." He chuckled a bit before continuing, almost to himself. "I guess I thought that due to the name...heh." As he brushed his hand against his staff, he leaned back his head on the wall and relaxed.

"Yeeaah, I guess the secret is out, the secret waterway is not so secret. I'm come here just to train myself without having to be very defensive and alert for disturbances," her eyes widened at the implication for laughing nervously, "not you disturbance, but the heartless and nobodies and all. It seems you can't have a day without them hovering over your shoulders. Also this place reminds me of home...a bit, so seeing how nice it is I have no qualms sharing."
Now curiousity got the best of her to be inquisitive on Artemis' nature. What was he coming for exactly. Seeing that he had sat down in comfort, she shifted in her standing stance feeling the awkwardness talking down to him. Also Kairi wondered what to do now; she couldn't practice with her keyblade with someone else around, who wasn't Merlin. She did had other stuff to test like her magick and light. "So hopefully I didn't throw you off, so you can continue with what you were...going to do."
Artemis chuckled as Shio mentioned training to oppose the Heartless and Nobodies.. "Well, that's a relief. At least I know you're not with the Heartless or Nobodies." He pushed as he went to stand, grabbing his staff on the way up. As Shio said she didn't mind him practicing, a slight blush came to his cheeks. He had intended to perform a summoning, but that wasn't exactly common knowledge he gave to strangers. But, then again, Shio wasn't exactly a stranger to him anymore, so it might be okay...
"Uhm..." he thought about it for a while, then relaxed. "Well, I did come here for a reason, but it's sort of my secret." With a sigh, he brushed his hand along one of the crystals on his staff, a slight whisper of ice spinning around him. Then, with the flick of his hand, he gestured at the pool, a large ice crystal forming from the water. But there was something inside it...
With a shimmering on the surface of the ice, a tall feminine figure stepped out from the ice, looking at Artemis and Shio in turn.
Artemis, with a smile, turned to Shio. "Shio, meet Aphrodite."

"You may never knooooow. I can be innerly eeeeeevil kukuuu," Kairi attempted at a joke, and a pathetic evil laugh, while she held her hand in a 'y' with her pinky to her lips, "bwhahaha.....ha hehe just kidding."
A brow arched inquisitively at the tint against his cheek as he muttered a secret. Her mouth open in a mock gasp before grinning like a devious playful kitten, while poking him with her elbow "Are youuuu meeeting someoooooone, a giiiirlfriiiiend."
She stopped blinky her eyes innocently once seeing a crystal sprout out of the sewer's water. Her eyes squinted to see pass the frost. Was someone in there? Was he some sadistic kid who trapped his victims into icecubes? Kairi should've learned to beware of her company like that no good bundle of red spikey hair. The Princess stepped over to the right, but she nearly stumbled when she halted seeing a woman step out of the ice.
D-dead lady walking...she's...not dead
"Aphrodite," Kairi repeated before looking at Artemis. So he goes for frozen girls...it's not my place to juuuuudge.
Artemis blushed even more when he saw the look and remembered her earlier response. "No no no, you've got it all wrong. Aphrodite's not my...well, let me put it this way." For some reason, he straightened his shirt and recited one of the Aeon lessons he had learned in Djose Temple.
"This is a creature called an Aeon, a creature from my home world of Spira that can be summoned by those called Summoners. They are physical manifestations of people who pledged themselves to destroy the plauge of Spira, Sin. Aphrodite happens to be the Aeon of ice, and isn't really human in this form. She is a partner in my fights against the Heartless and Nobodies, and a very close friend." As he finished, Aphrodite moved behind him, in a sort of sentinel position.
"I have a few other Aeons with me, but I like to keep them a secret. It wouldn't be good if the Organization knew I had more Aeons." As he mentioned that encounter, his face turned angry, but quickly cleared.

Her head tilted in confusion, "last time I checked they were interested in hearts...not aeons. What would they do with them? Have any of them came to you?"
If the Organization was roaming throughout Traverse Town, then she would have to be more careful than intended. This will only make everything more difficult making Merlin's House her only safe haven. They can cloathe themselves from detection like how Riku didn't want to be found. Still she needed to keep tabs on them on their actions and interests.
With a small chuckle, Artemis scratched his head and glanced at Aphrodite before continuing. "I guess tat the redhead with the spiky hair wanted my Aeon because of their strong hearts. They were humans once, and very strong willed ones. And on the location, I ran into the Organization in Olympus." As he finished, he gestured at Aphrodite and said, "Would you mind if we practiced some of our spellcraft, Shio? You could watch if you like. Aphrodite is a master of ice and water magic." Thoughtfully, he scratched his chin. "But, then again, we would need something as a target. Not you of course, but I hoped you might have an idea."

(You really should put your profiles in the siggy, and if Aphrodite is new, you should notify that.)
For a moment, Kairi thought she was thinking crazy. Why was she asking about the Organization, they were long gone. She was with Sora and Riku near the end, but wasn't with them to witness the entire end; regardless she knew the Organization was gone from concerns and worry, hence why she, Sora, and Riku could grasp as much of a normal life on Destiny Island. Was this new disturbance of their survival a supernatural pull that dragged her out of the islands?
Wait a minute, the Organization,...is back.
She knew the worlds still needed aid, because she can still travel to other worlds meaning that world order has been broken. Also not long after her arrival in Traverse Town, she met with a horde of heartless in the Second District. Why now when she wished to take time to get stronger, there was a pressure at her back that tried to push her forward. The Princess couldn't help, but to feel denial, but she couldn't deny it when he mentioned a fiery spikey haired Nobody.
Axel, a frown furrowed on her face at the thought. His question snapped her out of her daze and thinking. It took her a while to grasp what he spoke after being told the forsaken Organization was back from the darkness. How could they come back? How was that even possible? The worlds beckoned Sora and Riku to save it, why would fate turn around, slap them in the face, and made their suffering and struggles in vain.
"Huh," she mummered, "well I don't know what else you can use...except me. There's nothing much here. What would've you used if I wasn't here?"
(Yes, I will update Artemis ASAP. I tend to space things out sometimes.)
"Well, I would have used water clones with my magic, but they tend to be...less of a challenge then Aphrodite likes." He flicked a finger at the water, creating a human-shaped figure from the water. Aphrodite, understanding the gesture, blew a breath full of ice crystals at the figure, freezing it into a solid chunk of ice. With a smile, Artemis once again faced Shio and said, "It would be a bore after a while. If only the Heartless would appear here, or a few Nobodies. The lack of a challenge takes out the fun." Sitting down, Artemis stared at the far wall, zoning out for a second as he thought.

(kk Also Ellie Hint: Put your dialouge either in its own paragraph, at the end, or at the beginning of a narrative paragraph)
"Well if you want heartless or nobodies," she laughed, "you just most likely passed them up in the Second District. You know they are not shy. I would use me, buuuut..."
Kairi leaned over to see the pillar of ice, "yeah I don't think I would like to be a block of ice, nor am I a masochist. Hey let's go to the Second District, it's the only place you'll get efficient practice, and if there's too many I'll back you up. I need practice too, and practice makes perfect."
It seemed like a perfect solution, but the only downfall is that she won't use her Keyblade. Only her close friends know about it; true he showed her his secret, but she wasn't ready to reveal hers its more influential than an aeon.
