In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

So, I draw things at Random times and figured I'd post them up here. Feel free to critique any of my drawings and if you have ideas of what to draw at a later time, feel free to post it up. I'd prefer a large picture with a white background if you post a picture up for me to look at.

Nah. I just draw the outline and then work in. I don't really know the basics of most drawings. I just try to draw what I see on like a computer screen in a semi tracing state.
I used to do that, too. And then I became very frustrated.
Maybe that's where you need to start practicing to work on some of the things you're concerned about. If you can understand the foundation, everything will become more concrete. It takes some practice, but it's definitely worth it. The more times and consistently you do it, the better handle you'll have at it.
I wasn't too into taking art classes growing up, because I was worried about how subjective they'd be. What'll help is probably just drawing from your mind, and to just keep doing that. You'll find a method that is easy for you, and it'll grow from there, maybe.
Some good guides I've seen out there and learned from are the Bridgman guides. There are plenty of scans online, as well...
Hey, great! I'm not too hot on animal anatomy, but it's great to see that you're doing some original artwork. All I can really say is to keep on going with it! Promise it pays off.

Haha. Well I drew it this way to get the image of his head out of my head. That way I know for a fact that it is down on paper and ready to go. I'm going to work in parts and start drawing the upper body followed by the lower body. I also have to draw this head from the front to show all facial features. But once I can get everything drawn in detail, I'll be able to draw everything together as I want to draw it.
This is a picture of a Wolf known as Leo. It was drawn by someone who goes by the Alias Wolfblade, and re-done by me. I absolutely love the way this guy does the eyes of things. Anyway.... Original picture here!
