In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Name: Marigold
Nickname: Maggie
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Position: Good
Powers:
Magic: She's not physically strong so she relies heavily on the magic she's learned growing up to help her along the way. Her magic is particularly good at summoning, healing, or defense, but it doesn't do her much good offensively. All magic requires significant concentration, though lesser spells require less and harder spells require much more. If Maggie can't concentrate her magic does her very little good. These are some of Maggie's Spells: Shields: Maggie is able to make temporary shields around herself and a few others. Just around herself is pretty simple, but the more people she includes in her shield the more concentration and energy it takes. Just herself she could hold her shield for nine posts. Though she's been training for years she can only cover up to five people, and only for three posts, and only if they are close enough together. Invisibility She can turn herself completely invisible for three posts as a means of escape. Though she can't be seen she does still make noise and can still be felt if she pushes in to someone else. She Can make small objects like her bow or arrows invisible as long as she is touching them. Once they leave her hand they are visible again. ]Cura She can heal most minor injuries with little effort. More complex problems will drain her energy faster and require more concentration. Summoning: Marigold has a magic "Closet" as she calls it. She cannot create new items, just vanish away existing ones and store them in her "closet" to pull out when she needs them later. She cannot vanish or summon anything larger than a couch, and she has never tried and will not try vanishing anything living for fear it might not be when she summons it back. Glamour She knows two basic Glamour charms. One gives her the appearance of the princess, the other projects her appearance on to someone else. This is handy if you are trying to escape. Blizzard The only offensive spell Maggie has mastered, and only at a very basic level. Her aim isn't perfect, but like with her archery, she has been getting better with practice.
Luck: Maggie has much more good fortune than the average person. From little things to finding a quarter when she needs one to accidentally tripping and falling so someone's attack goes over her. Though she suspects it might be a subconscious defense mechanism, she doesn't have control over when her luck kicks in, its just seems to be luck. This can happen once every three rounds of posting in a thread, but doesn't have to happen every time, and her luck doesn't cary over in to the next set of three.
Archery: Not her best strength, but she's getting better with practice. Having magic and a lot of good luck helps her aim a little, but it can only do some much. Time and Practice will be better teachers.
Weapon:
Marigold has a bow and quiver of arrows, which doesn't run out. She received both of them at fifteen to assist in her protection of the princess. The bow is silver, and the arrows are tipped in purple. Her quiver has a design of two owls burned in to it. She also carries a simple black and gold dagger in one boot.
Picture:(None Yet)
Appearance: Marigold is small, standing no higher than five three. She looks about as strong as she is physically, which isn't very much. She has very little curve to her body, but is sure that is to her advantage in combat. She has one scar on the left side of her chest, just above her heart. She has pale skin with freckles running across her nose and cheeks. Her auburn hair falls in lose waves to her shoulders. She usually pins it back in a number of silver owl clips which match the charm which is constantly around her neck. Her eyes are a light blue bordering in to silver in some light. Her normal outfit consists of a dark purple, short sleeved, sweater dress which falls just above her knees. It has a hood on the back, two pockets on the front and a little tie right under her chest which makes the girls look a little bigger, she thinks. Under that, she wears black and white striped and star patterned stockings, which tuck in to her tall purple boots. From her elbows to her writs are covered by light grey knit arm warmers. Her nails are usually painted dark purple to match the dress, but the polish always ends up chipped.
Personality: Maggie was raised to be part of a team. She is extremely loyal to a fault, often putting others safety and desires before her own. She doesn't do well on her own and will attach quickly to almost anyone. She considers her self a good judge of character, but usually just believes the best out of everyone. She isn't an action type person, preferring to think about her decisions well before she takes any actions. She is more level headed taking into consideration all the factors. She doesn't usually rely on her gut instincts. Maggie is very goal oriented. . She's very serious about what needs to be done, and knows the best way to do it and knows she's right but often her ideas go unheard. Marigold does tend to be on the quite and shy side. She is a non aggressive person, and dislikes fighting on a general basis, but will make exceptions for the heartless. Maggie is incredibly patient, and has almost no temper. It takes quite a bit to upset her. When she is upset she doesn't yell or anything like that, she will just go invisible and disappear off for some "alone time." She is slightly claustrophobic and afraid of mimes. She enjoys reading, mostly her magic books and practicing her archery to get better. Though The Citadel has always been her home, and being in a new strange place terrifies her, she is also fascinated by the new worlds and new faces, both of which sparked an adventurous side she never really knew she had.
Original World: The Citadel. Though Maggie never saw outside the castle itself the surrounding village resembles a picturesque fairy tale sort of setting. The Castle itself is a stone castle with many twisting corridors and secret passages. The people there are highly superstitious and each person is given a specific job when they are young and are raised only to do that job. Guardians like Marigold is the highest non royalty job one can have, but it removes the child from their family forever. Any other ties than to the royal family are liabilities.
Current World: Traverse Town
History:
Maggie never met her birth parents. They either died or she was taken from them shortly after birth, and she doubts she will ever know for sure, especially now. From her first memory, all she knew of the citadel was inside the castle walls. She and two other girls her age, Daisy, and Ivy were chosen to be the protectors of the princess Adrianna. Each of the three was assigned a specific job. Ivy was trained to fight, aggressively, and was the leader of their group. Maggie was instructed in magic to protect the princess. Daisy's job was to be the princesses greatest confidant, advisor, and best friend. Maggie was most sure she would have rather had Daisy's job. She had clearly gotten the better end of the deal, and Ivy clearly had the short stick.
The four girls, three guardians and the princess grew up together in the castle. The princess was never seen without at least one of the others. While the princess and Daisy attended the normal princess lessons on educate, poise, and speech, Maggie studied magic with the castle's magician and Ivy sword play, archery, and hand to hand combat with the captain of the guard. The Girls grew up constantly tormented by Adrianna's older brother Crown Prince Marcus and his guardians Basil, Sage, and Reid. Each of the three male guardians filled the same role as the female guardians, which caused some competition between Ivy and Basil and Maggie and Sage, which only got worse when they became teenagers.
Adrianna started to grow in to a slightly more rebellious princess than anyone else had expected her to be. She began to prefer her brother and his guardians to her own, which was difficult on the three girls who's only purpose in life was to attend to the princess. Ivy and Daisy grew frustrated with the princess, but Maggie tended to sympathize with her, and eventually helped the princess "escape" her princess duties once in a while. She had learned glamour charms in her own lessons and would switch her appearance with the princesses on occasion. For a long time their plots went undiscovered, except by the magician who agreed to keep their secret. Maggie would attend Adrianna's princess classes and other duties, and Adrianna would attend classes with the magician to learn basic magic, though she was not as quick a learner as Maggie had been.
They were discovered however after an assassination attempt was made on the princess, who was actually Maggie in disguise during a formal function which she was attending. She was stabbed, resulting in a loss of concentration needed to keep the glamour spell up. Though Maggie survived, she was scared and the magician was prohibited from teaching Maggie any more Glamour charms. The princess's form and projecting her own were the only one she managed to learn. After that Maggie and Adrianna were allowed to spend less time alone, one of the other guardians had to be with them at all times. Maggie was warned that any more problems and she would be dismissed as a guardian. The only way to dismiss a guardian was death, which Maggie wasn't exactly keen on. So she did her best to be good and only fulfill her duties and nothing more.
Adrianna would attempt to get Maggie's help again, sure that the threat of death was just a threat and had never been actuality, but Maggie wasn't willing to risk it. The girls had just turned seventeen when the stars began to disappear. There were only a few heartless at first, little shadows here and there, the guardians could handle them. But quickly the few shadows became many with helmets, then larger round ones and finally giants who blocked out the sky. The six guardians made their final stand with the prince and princess in the library. They were attempting to escape the castle through a secret passage on the balcony in the library. Unfortunately the columns supporting the balcony gave out before the door opened, and the children tumbled in to darkness.
Maggie woke up alone in Traverse Town. Unsure what else to do she started to search the town for someone she knew. It was her job to protect the princess after all. But she quickly became fascinated by the new place and the new people and has become some what distracted from her goal.
Role Playing Sample:
Maggie pushed on the door to the third district with all the strength she could manage, but it refused to budge. It must have been locked she was sure. Maybe there was an unlocking spell in her book. For a moment she considered looking, but it was probably best she avoided new spells in a public area. The new spell she'd tried this morning ended up lighting the bed sheets in her hotel room on fire. Thankfully her blizzard spell took care of the flames before they spread. It could have been very, very unfortunate. She hadn't been in this new place long, but she was quickly learning her way around. It wasn't as confusing as the passages in the castle, she didn't think. Remembering which district she was in and which one she was headed too was a little more tricky. The hotel was in the second district, she remembered, and her room had a balcony that over looked the alley. That's right she wanted to explore the ally a little later as well. Giving the door one more good push to no avail, she gave up. She didn't really want to fight all the way through the second district and knew she wasn't fast enough to run it, but she had to know exactly what was in the third district.
With a sigh, she turned and ran up the stairs towards the door to the second district. She summoned her bow fitting an arrow to the string as she pushed open the large wooden door. Hardly two feet in to the second district there were heartless. Her first arrow found its mark, just barely. One hand extended towards a second shadow she called "Blizzard" which effectively took care of the second heartless. Her adventurous spirit was slightly dampened by the constant battle. She wasn't really built to fight, she was supposed to protect and heal, not cause damage. She had only barely touched combat skills in her training. Other than the little she knew from Ivy needing someone to practice on Marigold had zero combat experience prior to the heartless. Her second arrow missed the heartless, but only by a little. At least her aim seemed to be getting better the more she did it. One of the little bugs hit her making her stumble back and trip over another that had just popped up behind her.
Her bow slid away from and tumbled down the small stair case. "Come back!" She called. But it was a bow and incapable of self propelled motion, and it just stayed there. She scrambled for it, pushing herself up to her feet, and kicking one of the shadows in the head. She ran for her bow, but as her fingers closed around it two of the dancing nobodies appeared. The door the the hotel was only a few steps beyond them, but they were already bobbing towards her, the shadow bugs creeping up behind her. She pulled another arrow from her quiver.
Some guardian she was, a handful of enemies and she needed help.

Aloha Maggie, and welcome to Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny,
>O LET'S GET CRACKING! *cracks whip*
When it comes to abilities/spells/etc, we judge their duration by post counts, since they are more concrete method versus free-reign manipulation of the rper, which can lead to abuse, god modding, and unhappy people. So duty #1, go through your spells and give them a duration of usage such as: how long can she stay invisible, how long can the shield stay activated. Also change her heaing magic to a form of Cure. (it's a common healing spell in the universe). Also give a control amount of how many 'lucky charms' she gets; having luck at random is at your free hand manipulation, which can lead to god modding.
Rp Sample,
The only thing I would say is to be aware where you put dialouge. In writing, dialouge either is at the end or the beginning of a narrative paragraph, or it have it's own. It will never been seen in the mist of a narrative paragraph...from all the books I've read XD I doubt I have seen it ever like that.
Other than that chica, high five for your first profile.

For Shields and Invisibility you need actual post counts as in numbers. Why? The length and duration of this ability won't be consistent throughout roleplay, because it's manipulated by how many people are in a thread...not by how skilled your character is strengthwise. This way if you have your character become stronger she can extend her strength by a longer post count duration versus...a round.
