In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Anyway, no one here is proficient and knowledgeable in every Final Fantasy ever made (and if you are, well, just yikes). That's why God gave us spoons. Oh and Final Fantasy Compendium.
An excellent reference site right there for all your Final fantastical needs.
I'll also toss in my hat as a reference source for the world of FFVII. I got every game that's come out in the continuity pegged down, down to the most minute details and trivias.
However. Which FF games you know is not necessarily what is going to make this site better. This thread, actually, has been spiralling in a downward trend on this from suggestions to criticism, and now to this discussion, and I'd like to either disband it if it is going to not get back to the initial intention, or steer it back on track.
So...

If we're sliding back on topic, I'd like to refer back to my prior attempt at mentions of plot movement. The earlier posts were run over by the Moby topic, and I would like to thank Kaze for PMing me with answers to some of my questions.
Now HERE'S something to speculate. I was reading the KH manga and by chance happened upon a certain line that got me thinking...hmm...I wonder if that's in the game too. I looked up the script to the first game and came upon this:
Leon: Sora. You did it. Sora: What are you guys doing here? Yuffie: We came in Cid's ship. Aerith: This is our childhood home. We wanted to see it again. Leon: It's in worse shape than I feared. It used to be so peaceful...
I think this implies quite a bit, don't you?

Well, I haven't gotten to that point in the game, and I don't want to check cut scenes. But you have to remember that in KH I, Leon does tell Sora that their world was destroyed nine years ago. So they were children nine years ago *shrugs*
Personally, I think it implies they also grew up in Radiant Garden. It was their childhood home. I suppose you could interpret it any way you want, but when someone tells me their childhood home is in California, I also assume they were born and at least partially raised there.
YES I know she says that. Yes, I know. We're doing it wrong. It should be that way. I know. But to make it work with that we would have to scrap almost everything we've done yet and change all the way we deal with this, and I really really don't want to do that.
