In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Uh... considering most of the entries from the previous contest poofed (and I don't think even the record of them exists anymore), are we allowed to resubmit one of our designs from that contest, if it didn't win then?

You don't need to draw the keyblade. Bluey said that it didn't need to have a picture. It would just need a description if you have no artistic skills.
And Role, If someone is drawing a keyblade specifically for you, then that should be fine. Going into like photobucket or deviantart and grabbing a random keyblade isn't acceptable. But if someone is making one specifically for you, then that would be fine, or at least... it should be.
Putting things bluntly... Don't post if you 'think' you know an answer!**
Dual-wielding; Nothing exactly qualifies it... only two characters dual-wield at this time (Kaze and Aros), and I won both of mine through creation contests >> So I can't say from experience.
Drawings; *points to "Picture (optional):"* >> *points to optional* ... Again? No... you don't need to draw it. You can enter a drawing in later if you so choose, but as honest as we try to be, usually the most graphic-heavy and well-drawn ones go through.
Old Entries; Go for it, enter them.
**Weapon Transformations; Yes... you can have your keyblade be a current weapon transformed, it's your keyblade, it can be whatever you want it to be!
**Commissions; You can have them done by someone else, so long as you can have proof that you were in contact with them... having them sign something.
So... Marluxia, what you were thinking of was NOT a commission. That was a stolen picture from a member of Deviantart that wasn't intended for this contest, that is why... these keyblades are for members here, not works of art by others' for their own purposes.

Hope that clears some stuff up >>
Ah, thanks, that helps quite a bit. ^-^
My idea for the keyblade my character would use is a bit unorthodox, but I don't think they should have one quite yet... The basic premise behind it is that the keychain alters the weapon, so it's only a single key, but depending what the chain is attached to it'll have different affects. However, I think I should have some 'storyline progression' for my character before applying with them... give me a chance to develop them more.
Until then, though... I'm cheering for y'all! Show me some good designs!
On dual wielding:
I think Fleta qualifies as a 'dual wielder' as well, but her weapons come in sets, and she can't wield a keyblade. But due to technicalities, as it IS two daggers in a set, she does dual wield. I guess it's not a matter of having two weapons as it is fighting style.
You could wield a keyblade and another weapon if you win one, but it'd kinda be stupid to do so if your character doesn't know how or isn't skilled at it. The reason Roxas does it is because it's his fighting style. Sora gets it because of the drive forms, but his primary style is Two Handed fighting, not Two Weapon fighting.
So as far as I'm concerned, dual wielding is just a matter of fighting style and, well, having multiple weapons available to wield.
Easy: Because it's not necessarily the final version, and I want opinions first before I send in my finalized version. But, in retrospect, since nobody seems to comment on my ideas (or they just bash them), at least not on this site, I'll just send it in.
By the way, should I get some images, could I send those in later?
so we have to draw the key blades after that then what we send it to?

Reading might be a helpful suggestion. The Keyblade Contest was already held and it ended this week. The winners have already been announced in the Keyblade voting thread.
