In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

As you may have noticed, a few moderators have begun to put up archive threads in their designated worlds. Please remember to submit all threads following the below requirements from 1/14/2011 onward, or they will not be 'counted' in the grand scheme of things. In, Out and About is the only exception to this rule - submitting finished threads to that archive listing is optional.
By this organizational movement, members will have access to a complete, full listing of events in each world, and tracking down the threads of canons and OCs will be easier. ;]
Threads that must be submitted to the designated world archive, or will be voided:
- Ones containing canons - Large site, world, or other large scale plot events - Threads in which the world itself is affected
All else are optional.
Please only add threads that are completed, or have died off but still retain important events.
What about threads that are currently archived, and we still want to keep them (IE. Important as to our characters, linked in their journals, etc?) I specify important to the character because there's only one finished threadline I really, really don't want to lose.
To further specify, threads that are between canons and may, or may not entirely effect the over-arching site plot.

You can add whichever threads you want to your journals; we just like to keep tabs of complete threads, especially those that affects the worlds. There's been times something "big" happened or influential enough....that aren't charted sooo no one knows about it or even acknowledges it.
I know of a currently-archived thread that I would like to keep around. Currently it isn't listed in the Archive. If I don't request to list it, will the old archives get cleared out, letting it get deleted?
In addition, can I request to archive something important to my -character- (likely not to the over-arching plot), are these sorts of things already being archived with overall plot ideas, or do I have to go to a suggestions thread to suggest putting up an archive for things that are character-important? (Let's say the character is an original, but the thread is important to their story specifically, not necessarily the plot of WD's recorded story.)

There hasn't been any plans to delete archived threads (threads in the archive blob), so I can say that now and in the near future, those threads are safe...they're just not organized.
For your character specifically, you can source and link threads that are stored in the archives into his/her journal. Actually that's why any finished threads are generally locked and are encourage to be finished up, because once it's moved to a different location, it gets a different url, so it can be lost in the shuffle.
And chaaa is there isn't an archive up, juuuust wait.
