Current World: Radiant Garden
History:He spent most of his early childhood living in with his mom and grandfather who helped raise him through the family ways of storytelling and through personal homeschooling. For the most part, his childhood was rather lonesome, having virtually no friends outside his family because of this. Natsu was regularly ignored by normal people so he spent most of his time listening to music or drawing pictures and sometimes even pretending to be a hero. Natsu’s ambitions to become a hero began at age 6, when his grandfather told him of a great knight whose heart was as pure as snow and as kind as one could imagine and because of these traits the knight was granted a weapon in the shape of a key. Natsu was always fascinated by that story and always kept in his mind.
As he got older and reached the age of 12 he began to care and believe less in stories of heroes. The story about the knight which he once held close to his heart began to seem stupid in his eyes. At this time his family stopped homeschooling him and he decided to spend time near the stores. He sat there and bought a vanilla ice cream and stared at the sky. That day he saw a flash of light fall from the sky and land in the center of the shopping area. A tall blue haired man appeared from the flash. His clothes.... they were that of a knight's just as the stories he had heard. The man was roughly 30 by appearance. Almost immediately a swarm of black creatures came up from the floor around him. The man beat them down with his sword. Natsu was surprised by the display of strength and skill.
Natsu begged the man known as Minato Dulz to teach him how to fight as he did. In the beginning he constantly declined. When Natsu first displayed signs of his skills Minato knew that he would make a great fighter but he still refused to help Natsu because he believed that Natsu wasn't devoted enough. As an attempt to prove his devotion, Natsu got the tattoos on his arms. The symbols of which were the same as the ones on the man's armor. Finally he decided to teach Natsu. He didn't tell Natsu about his abilities seeing as though he didn't know about it himself. He taught him how to fight with a few weapons and how to use a few magic spells. During their time together Natsu told him why he was so eager to train with him. He told him the story of the knight who had the blade shaped like a key. Minato commented on that saying the blade was known as a keyblade but he had never seen one himself. Their training time only lasted 2 years before Minato decided to leave. Natsu was sad by this news. Minato gave him a metal chain with an emblem of a spiked eye. He patted Natsu on his head one last time this time, before leaving. With that a light enveloped Minato and he shot off into the sky and off to another world. Natsu then vowed to use his new skills to take on any heartless that he may have faced.
When Natsu was 15 he was on his usual trip to the town area. Today he bought sea-salt ice cream instead of the normal vanilla. As he sat on the roof of one of the buildings eating his ice cream, he felt a tremor. A large amount of shadows began appearing all over the place. He challenged the heartless swarm, beating them down one by one. After a while the swarm became too much for him to handle by himself. Just as he was about to give up his powers awakened. His shadow came to life and a second Natsu was there. By instinct he grabbed the chain he had received from Minato and it became a longsword. The shadow double did the same. The 2 managed to hold the heartless back until they eventually retreated. He was shocked to know he had this kind of power. He had only 2 goals in his mind. To find Minato and to find out if the stories of the keyblade were true. Which brings us to today.
Role Playing Sample: Natsu was sitting by the shops, enjoying an ice cream as he envisioned how a keyblade would look. He also imagined what a keyblade wielder would look like as well. He decided to draw the different ideas in his mind. He took out his drawing book and pencil using his Shadow Carrier technique. He immediately began sketching his very first idea of how a keyblade wielder would look. The sketch greatly resembled Minato but with more armor. The knight stood without his helmet and had a long flowing cape. He then began to sketch his idea of the keyblade. The blade was long and had the teeth of a key near the tip of the blade just as he was told. After finishing the sketch he stared at it and sighed.
"I wonder if I will ever get to see one of these." He said laying on the floor. He stared at the sky for a while before getting up.
"I need more ice cream." He muttered to himself as he walked over to get more ice cream.
At that moment several neoshadows came up in the area.
"Not this again." He growled as they began swarming the area. He quickly grabbed his chain and turned it into a sword and his rings into 1 short sword. The security system activated, launching a few of the heartless into the air. He jumped up, slashing them through their necks, chests and heads. As he fell he drop-kicked one of the monsters in their head, smashing it into the pavement. He attacked them one by one, getting a few minor scrapes and cuts has he did so. He began getting tired as he noticed that their numbers were being replenished. He took a deep breath and called his Shadow Double. The two of them cut through the heartless quickly, cutting their numbers down. After a while the onslaught finally stopped and the two had defeated the last of the neoshadows.
"Well that was annoying." He said as he purchased his ice cream. He walked off to the area known as the "Dark Depths" where he sat on the edge of the cliff and stared at the castle. He began to wonder if the wielder of a keyblade had ever come to his world.
"Regardless of if one has come here or not I have a duty to help protect the people here." He said
"but how cool would it be if I could end up fighting alongside one." he continued, smiling. He then said and said
"As if that would happen.".
