Powers: Kaid possesses the power of Illusion. He can alter how other people see things, and he does it almost flawlessly, but it does take some concentration on his part.
Some examples of what he can do is, to another person, make himself look like someone they know, or just some complete stranger, but in actuality he does not change at all. He can also make others see things like mirages, which could be of himself, or other random things, its really up to how Kaid wants to deal wit things.
With this power however, does come consequences. Although difficult, there are few possible ways people can get around Kaid’s illusions.
Another disadvantage he has, is the illusive powers are pretty much his only means of protecting himself. He knows the basics of how to use a sword affectivly, but he is in no way “good” at any type of physical fighting.
Weapon: A light weight thin sword, easy for Kaid to use with one hand.

Appearance: Kaid has spiky short-ish black hair, that is longer in the front then in the back. His bangs nearly cover his eyes, but just before that are swept to the side so that he can see.
Kaid’s eyes are an unusual yellow, and he stands at about 5’10” and is very slim.
Kaid wears anything that will stay relatively close to his body while he moves around. He usually wears something similar to darker colored skinny jeans, a dark colored, plain, tight stretchy shirt ( sleeve length really depending on the weather), with some sort of jacket over it. Kaid’s jackets are what seem to very most about his clothes. He wears a number of different styles of jackets, again, depending on the weather; fro sleeveless ones that really do nothing aside from give him extra pockets, to larger jackets that would actually keep him warm.
Most unusual thing Kaid wears is a lot of silver jewelry, being chains, or random necklaces, things like that. He also has one of his ears pierced twice, and wears a few earrings.
Personality: Kaid is very playful. He really enjoys messing with people, but he usually doesn’t do it to be mean; in fact, Kaid usually isn’t very mean unless someone has upset him.
The amount Kaid talks however extremely varies. If he’s feeling especially lonely, and wants to be social, he will talk a lot, simply to make that feeling go away. But, if he’s mad, or thinking about something a lot, he will be nearly silent and it will be a lot of work for anyone to get him to talk.
Kaid isn’t one that will push people away at those times however, but if they start annoying him he’ll give them looks that says so.
He also is much more comfortable dealing with one or two people at a time, if more he tends to get a little nervous since Kaid doesn’t really enjoy much attention brought to him. This being said however, if grandted his ideal situation of one or two nice people to talk too, kaid acts just like a normal kid.

History: There really was not anything special about Kaid’s life until he reached age thirteen. He grew up, and went to school like a normal boy until then, and did not even have any family complications, or anything else to make him anything more then “normal”. He grew up in a family with both of his parents, and both younger and older siblings, both boys.
When Kaid was about thirteen though, things around him started changing. More and more people in his area started to develop strange, and unusual abilities such as the ability to heal, or use elemental magic. And others that did not develop these abilities, or could not get control of them seemed to simply vanish. Luckily for him, Kaid learned his illusionist ability instead of “disappearing”. Later he learned that that was just the black creature’s way of getting rid of weaker hearted people.
It was not long after the discovery of his ability, for him to start using it for various form of it to both help him, and others defeat the increasing numbers of creatures, and get thing which he wanted. Kaid was quite amused, even as a smaller child being able to mess with the creatures, and some peoples minds by altering their perception of things. The most note able case being when he was about fifteen or sixteen. Kaid decided to use his powers to trick someone into giving him a Gummi ship; which he had learned not long before gave people the ability to travel to different worlds.
This allowed for him to actually save his family, which had been something he wished he could do since all of this madness had started; no one in his family had obtained any abilities, and he took it upon himself to protect them. With the help of the Gummi ship, Kaid managed to move his family members to an entirely different world so they could all be safe, unlike a lot of unfortunate people on their original world.
After settling into this new location, life seemed to be getting back to “normal”. That is, as much as one can call it after moving worlds, and developing strange powers.
Even so, without the dangers of possibly dyeing, Kaid continued to use his powers and develop them further until they go to the point where he could use them very affectively, quite easily but simply being playful and messing with people.
When Kaid turned eighteen, he decided that it was about time he went off on his own like his older brother had done when he was eighteen; and since Kaid was responsible for getting the Gummi ship in the first place, his parents gave it to him, as long as he promised to come back and visit once in a while; which he easily did. Even he knew he could not stay away from home forever!
Ever since then, Kaid has been out exploring different worlds and seeing what they have in store for him, while still developing his illusionist ability further.
