Powers:

Release Within : Igaros is able to shift into his kitsune form on command. While transformed Iggy loses the ability to use magic. No specific duration but he doesn't really like to stay like this for long periods of time unless it's necessary. As a reaction to his transformation Iggy is able to manipulate fire around his body for a short time (4 posts) and afterwards loses all magical abilites and must rely on his animalistic defenses.

Heightened Senses : Due to Igaros being a kitsune shifter he has overall stronger senses then a regular human. These senses are dull in comparison to his kitsune's form. Also has quickened agility and slightly stronger strength.

Sword Mastery : Iggy has been trained with a sword since age 6. Exceptional skills with a blade but can always learn a new trick here and there if taught by someone.

Flame of the Heart : Iggy is able to channel the kitsune's fire affinity into his blade for a short time. (3 posts)

Fira : The second stage of the basic fire magic. Shoots a scorching ball of flame out of his palm.

Cure : Basic cure magic. Heals minor wounds.


Fire Resistance : Since Iggy is a kitsune shifter fire does little damage to him. But is suseptible to Ice magic.

Weapon: Human Weapon
Iggy uses a medium-sized, double-bladed sword that he wields with both hands. The hilt is rather small compared to the blade, it's wrapped in blue material in a spiraling design with gold fitted between each spiral. At the bottom of the hilt is a gold, three-spiked cap. The crossguard is a deep red with a flame symbol in the middle. The blade's actual design is rather unique. Sprouting from the flame symbol on the guard are flame designs that run up about half the sword's length.

When Iggy transforms he loses the use of his blade and instead relies on his teeth, claws, and fire that he can omit from his body.

Appearance:

When Iggy is in his human form he stands at about 5'7 with red eyes. Although he is not the most muscular person he is toned and has a nice build. His hair is midnight black but has a shade of blue in it and its usually ruffled all over coming down just past his ears. His right eye is usually covered by his hair but he tends to brush it off because it gets in his way. He sports a white, tooth-like object that he wears around his neck. He doesn't wear a shirt but instead cover himself with a front opened, red cloak that has no sleeves which is kept on by an X-design in the front. Has a pair of gauntlets on with a diamond shape ruby inserted in them and a pair of black gloves. He wears a pair of black jeans and knee-high combat boots. His sword is in a sheathe that is slung over his back. Don't let his gloomy look fool you, he is far from that mental state.

Iggy has the ability to change to his shifted stage, therefore his appearance changes. He has a long muscular body with powerful claws. His fur is a yellow-orange tone that turns to a dark red as you appraoch the tips of his fur. He has a bushy tail that starts off slim but get bushier as it reaches out. His eyes are a light green color. A vicious look covers his face while in dangerous situatitions. His over-all size is equal to that of a medium-large sized dog. If in a dangerous situation Iggy wears a vicious look and is animalistic in behavior. If he transforms just to do so then he is more calm and behaved.


Personality:

Don't let his looks trick you. From the outside Iggy looks like a cold, uncaring teen. But he's not. He likes to make jokes out of any situation, he can usually find the good part of anything. He is a very determined teen, if he sets his mind on doing something then there's no stopping him. He's very friendly with people and will be the first to approach a new person. His fighting attitude is pretty much the same. He fights until there is not a drop of sweat left in his body. He forms bonds with friends rather quickly and would do anything to help his friends. He doesn't like to be alone but is capable of being so due to his past experiences. He likes to showoff infront of girls but this tends to end with him making a fool of himself. He usually doesn't hold grudges but has held one against his old village ever since his banishment. Whenever he thinks of his old life dark thoughts take control of him; he is usually good at keeping this hidden though. He likes to snoop around in places he's not supposed to. This usually ends up with him getting into trouble or into a fight.

History:

A child is not a vase to be filled but a fire to be lit.

Igaros was born in a small village on the world of Basada. Born into one of the more 'higher-up' families Iggy was handed oppurtunities left and right. Some he took advantage of and some he didn't. Iggy didn't like to put his social status out there so he didn't take full advantage of the oppurtunites he was handed. One that he did take a liking to was swordsmanship. He used this as an activity to pass the time while his parents were at village meetings. He was taught every day by the regions best swordfighter since age 6. By age 15 Iggy had learned everything his master had to teach. This is when Igaros was given the sword he now fights with.

Things took a turn for the worst on Iggy's 16 birthday. His people feared the kitsunes that ravaged the land around them. This monster would attack lone adventurers and even attempt to steal children. The villagers could only do some much to protect themselves. Even the other animals of the world feared the beasts. The people of the village developed a ritual that helped them fight off the animals.

They were able to merge their 'beings' with that of an animal and from then on would be able to shift into that animal on command. Some could turn into aerial beasts that would work as scouts, others would merge with bears and be the protectors of the village. This was Iggy's downfall.

Something went wrong during his ceremony. He was originally going to be merged with a wolf, the field scouts of the village. But things went wrong during his ceremony. A solo kitsune attack. His 'being' ended up merging with that of the kitsune, ruining his life on his world. He was soon targeted as a threat and named 'The Tainted Shifter.' He was then run out of town and forced to live in the wilderness on his own.

Using his sword skills and learning to use his new powers he was able to live comfortably, until the Heartless attacked. He fought, with sword, claws and teeth but was no match for the growing number of shadows. His world was eventually overtaken and he plunged into darkness. A surge of heat ran through him and he awoke underneath the Clock Tower in Twilight Town.

After his awakening Iggy had no idea what to do. He searched. For hours, for somebody, anybody who would recognize the "The Tainted Shifter." He found no one. It was morning when he began searching and by the end of his search the sun had began to set.

He eventually came across a nice spot of woods where he took shelter in a rickety shack that he made. It wasn't the best but it was good for the time. It was also a good place for him to shift without scaring the citizens.

Weeks past and he became a regular to the people of the town. He made friends and they showed him the surrounding areas. This is how he found his favorite spot in Twilight Town, Sunset Hill.

He eventually learned that the monsters that destroyed his home were called Heartless and they were out destroying other worlds too. He then decided to find away off this world and destroy the Heartless threat.


Role Playing Sample:

A small breeze playfully tossed Iggy's hair around until it eventually fell and covered his eyes. The slight taste of salt danced on Iggy's lip as he sat on Sunset Hill's edge overlooking the water. It was always nice and calm out on Sunset Hill, save for the occasional heartless or two. This is why Iggy like taking the train out here. He could just sit and relax. It was a nice distraction from memories of his past. A slight sigh escaped from his lips as he moved the hair out of his line of sight. He positioned himself in a more comfortable sitting position.

"I really should get this cut," he thought to himself as he half-pulled on a chunk of hair he grabbed. "I mean it really does just get in the way.

Moments passed and Iggy just sat in silence watching as the sun dipped below the horizon before the area was swallowed in darkness. It was mesmorizing. So much that Iggy lost track of time.

"Damn," Iggy said aloud as he realized how late it had gotten, "I'm gonna miss the train back, again!"

In a matter of seconds Iggy had strapped his sword back on and was racing down the hill hoping to make the last train in time.

"Hopefully there aren't any problems today, that's the last thing I need right now."

His visage became more animalistic. He ran as fast as his enhanced speed would allow. Then something stopped him in his tracks. Three heartless appeared. To be more exact 3 Bandits had appeared.

"Really? Of all days to try and pick a fight you choose today?"

Iggy spoke to the Heartless, knowing they probably had no idea what he was saying. "Well I sure am outnumbered," he thought taking note of the 4th Bandit that popped out of nowhere, "But I'm definetly not at a disadvantage.

Iggy was ready for a battle. He unsheathed his sword slowly, gazing as the moonlight reflected off the blade. A wave of heat rolled over his entire body.

"Let's get this over with." With those final words Iggy charged at the nearest enemy.

His blade made direct contact with the first monster. A floating heart took the place of the monster that was just infront of him. "I don't know why you think think this time is different then any of the other.."

Iggy's voice stopped abruptly as he felt a blade crush against his back thigh.

One of the Bandits saw Iggy's attack as an opening and striked as fast as the little heartless' body would allow. A scream erupted out of Iggy, "Ahhhh!

The force of the blow caused more damage than Iggy suspected. His whole left leg had gone numb. He limped away barely missing another strike from one of the other Bandits.

He was hurt. Pretty bad. Iggy raised his sword and it was soon covered in a light green aura as little petals fell towards his body. "Cure!" A sense of relief washed over his body as the immediate pain from his leg dissapated. He still hurt but he could fight now.

"Where were we? Iggy questioned in a mocking tone. "Oh yea, I was in the middle of destroying you monsters."

Iggy pointed his sword at one of the Bandits who was about to make a jump for him. "Fira!" Iggy bellowed. A medium-sized ball of flame erupted from the end of his sword that met the Bandit in mid-air. Again, a heart slowly floated towards the sky. To where? Iggy had no idea but he was safe from one more heartless threat and that's all he cared about.

"Two down, two more to go." Iggy thought to himself bracing for another impact from the heartless.







Questions/Comments/Suggestions?

Would he be able to eventually learn a technique similiar to the Darkness Portals for traveling? I was also paruzing the site and noticed that dark characters were needed to be recruited so I made Iggy a possible recruit.

Fire's Desire: For consistency for what you said earlier of him not being able to use magic as a fox, he wouldn't be able to conduct magick, so this shooould mcpoofy.

As for Dark Portals. It really isn't an ability given frequently; that ability always been iffy here, since someone many people wanted it.

In short your profile looks good. I feel all perky just reading it. The only thing I would notice is for the RP Samples. Generally dialouges are at the beginng and/or end of a narrative paragraph or have it's own...rather than floating in the middle of a paragraph.

Fire Desire//

Its off for him to use magick when you state he can't use magick as a kitsune. What caaan be done is that when he transform...he goes ablaze for the post count duration you set. So in short Fire Desire is a reaction to shifting giving him a momentary advantage before going bare with magic and only have the fire defenses.
