In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Soala was woken abruptly, and proceeded to paw Seth's head viciously. ”Will you wake up already, you bum!” said Soala with the same feline hiss she spoke with each morning and night.
Beep.
Seth stretched out a shaking hand towards the alarm clock.
Beep.
Soala impatiently jumped across Seth's outstretched hand and landed neatly on the alarm snooze button. ”Thank you, Soala” yawned Seth as he turned over once more to sleep. The black cat Soala leapt on Seth's head and leaned down, her green protrudent eyes boring into Seth's. Her tail was swishing back and forth, but she wasn't very happy at the moment. The green ribbon tied to it was facing the consequences by having it's laces ruffled lightly in the air. ”Wake up now or I'm going to make you!” Seth sleepily rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed, revealing a large and baggy pajamas with a pattern on it relating to the theme “tea 'n' crumpets”. ”What was I going to get up this early for again?” Seth sighed, looking at the window beside the bed. It was a bit dark, but flashes of color began to show in the sky little by little. ”What you were going to get up for?” Soala said furiously, ”How else are you going to make a living if your going to stay in bed and fester like a savage?!” Boy, Seth thought, Soala sure had her way of persuading people to do her will. Nevertheless, he still dragged himself out of bed and changed into one of his everyday clothes, a plan t-shirt with a breast-pocket and a pair of jeans with a contrasting color. Seth remembered that it was still cold out, despite winter had passed, so he took a jacket and scarf from the hanging racket on his door and put them on. Soala looked up at him expectantly, then leapt high in the air and landed neatly on the edge of his scarf, near the base of his shoulder. ”I'm hungry,” she yawned, fangs gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight. Seth sighed and said with a wearing grunt, ”Can't you eat cat food, at least just try it, just once?” Soala looked at Seth as if he had a screw loose. ”I'll have the regular please, milk, eggs, and some catnip.” she said expectantly. Knowing it was no good to argue, Seth adjusted his jeans and ambled downstairs.
Still half-asleep, Seth pulled out some eggs, a piece of bread, and some tea and milk. Soala started right away on the milk as everything was prepared. The eggs sizzled unenthusiastically, and the toast was radiating red in the small toaster oven. Seth set the eggs down on two separate plates as the oven toaster gave a large “ding!”. As Seth pulled out the toast and set it on a plate, Soala studied it profoundly and said, “Huzzah! Slightly burnt bread!”. Seth crammed some eggs into his mouth. ”It's called toast, Soala.” Soala shrugged indifferently as if she couldn't care less, and dove into the eggs also. Within a few minutes, the dishes were cleared and it was time to head out the door.
As icy winds broke through, Seth hugged himself slightly as Soala escaped into the front of the scarf, near Seth's chest, and shivered. Breezes sent chills down Seth's spine as Soala tried to get as much warmth possible from Seth's neck. "Can't you use Magic? It'd be a lot more comfortable." pouted Soala. "If I rely on magic as often as I do," grunted Seth, "Everybody's gonna get suspicious." Back when Seth had arrived at Traverse Town, his memories were scrambled, and he was most likely to be attacked by heartless if not for help from other citizens. He payed back in away way he could by setting up a shop in the Traverse Town shopping district and selling supplies to poor families in need of help. Soala hissed. "Nobody would see this early in the morning, and besides, wind spells are practically invisible to the naked eye." She had a point. They needed as much time as possible today to make new products, so it would be best if they got there as soon as possible, as Seth speculated. He raised his index finger and pointed directly at his running feet. "Rastel Scierro Magister!" As Seth chanted a spell, light wind began to outline his feet, and his finger radiated with a bright sea colored green. "Fastrietto de Scottier!" Upon this, a transparent kind of flash of lightning escaped his index finger and in front of his feet. Suddenly, he burst into a surge of speed. His running speed increased greatly to the point that tailwind and turbulance began to follow in his trail of unnatural speed. Soala poked her head out of the scarf. "This is more like it." Within a few minutes, they had made their way to the Traverse Town shopping square. Luckily, nobody was around, and could not see him put away the spell with a clever incantation. Well, he didn't think so anyways.
Seth escaped into an alley, and discreetly began inspecting trash cans and recycling bins.. ”Well, this is a godsend. No horrible stenches and plenty of interesting stuff.” Seth found a few long plastic bottles, pieces of materia, many ingredients used in potion making, and abandoned tools and supplies. Before people began to roam the streets, Seth set up his small booth near the shopping district.
The sign was slightly faint, but it was understandable. ”Soala and Seth's”. At first, Seth proposed that his name come first, but Soala thought otherwise, and in the end, they both realized that the entire thing wasn't really worth talking about anyways. Here, Seth and Soala took abandoned material and made products for people who either were poor or were looking for something different could come. From half the potion ingredients, Seth and Soala created a small charging potion that not only helped cure wounds, but tasted a lot like Lemon Pop. From the other half, they created a small station of first-aid material. From the materia and other junk, small knifes, silverware, pencils, pens, and other items were made. By the 4th hour of working, they were done and put all items on display, as the shopping district steadily became the regular old traverse town it was. A child came up to Seth, her face reaching only a few inches off the surface of the booth's table. “How much is that doll, mister?” the child said shyly, pointing at one of the refurnished items created from fabric, leather, and cotton that was found in pillows and abandoned clothing. Seth rested his chin on his hands and looked down at the girl. Soala sat obediently on the side of the booth, tail swishing back and forth and starting curiously into the crowd. ”How much munny do you have?” Seth asked him with a grin. The child took out a wallet the size of her fist and pulled out around 10 units. “It was all I had saved up.” she said nervously, glancing up at Seth while playing with her hair. Seth playfully tossed the doll at the girl and said with a smile, “It'll be five then.” The child grinned happily at the doll and at Seth. “Thanks mister Seth!” She ran off, apparently eager to show the doll to her family at home. Soala said depressingly, ”What about me?”. Seth pat her head gently. ”Your time to shine will come soon, Soala,” said Seth with another lazy yawn. Gradually more and more customers came. Seth took his job seriously, seeing as there was nobody at home to support his lifestyle, and many homeless or jobless citizens of Traverse town were living in some of the most dangerous districts, so he tried all he could to help them. It was only by miracle that Seth was gifted at taking something unusable and making it into something usable. Once in a while, the adults stopped to pet Soala, who purred graciously, though some of the other children pulled her tail, and it was only by chance that she tripped over Seth's arm trying to bite a particular child.
By the time it was afternoon, half the products of the day were gone. Most of the common household items, such as a few toothbrushes, a comb, small stool, and mirror were gone, leaving only a batch of potion mix, some nutrient packs, a few hammers, nails, screws, tools, a phone-set, school supplies, other interesting stuff. "Sometimes I even surprise myself, coming up with such ingenious ideas" said Soala, pawing at an ink pen with an annoyingly superior look on her face. Seth didn't bother to remind her that she didn't have opposable thumbs as a cat, and therefore, probably couldn't even make half the products on the table if Seth were not there. He remembered she could turn human, but for a few hours at a time. He sighed. "Just pipe down and make sure nobody but me hears you, Soala."
